Abstract

The study aims to determine the accuracy of the expectation-confirmation model and social influence integrated technological acceptance model in predicting the acceptance of student-related online learning with Microsoft Teams. The research design is quantitative research modeling the acceptance of students with SEM-PLS using WarpPLS software. Used primary data collected using a random sampling technique from an online questionnaire for UNUGIRI Statistics students using Microsoft Team until the end of August 2022, using the Likert scale for item questions for the online questionnaire. The result is that obtained implementation of SEM-PLS well with the conclusion that satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and expectation-confirmation significantly affect actual use and continuous intention. In contrast, social influence and perceived ease of use are not significant.

Abstract

The research discussed here relates to the cassava chips production system. The production system was analyzed using petri net and algebra of maxplus. The goal is to obtain information on the completion time for each process and to know the estimated time of completion of production each day. Based on the data obtained, it can be described the flow of the production process and then formed a graph so that it can be formed a petri net using the Woped 3.1.0 tool. From the results of the petri net then analyzed and can be built coverability tree. So that, the completion time for each process and the estimated time for completion of production each day can be known.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of the PowToon audiovisual media in mathematics learning for elementary school students, with is viewed from three indicators, namely (1) the activity of students during PowToon audiovisual media, (2) student learning outcomes, and (3) students positive responses after participating in learning using PowToon audiovisual media. The results showed that mathematics learning using PowToon audiovisual media was effective. The learning outcomes of students after participating in learning using the PowToon audiovisual media were complete, with a classical percentage of 85,19%. Students positive responses to mathematics learning using PowToon audiovisual media meet the effectiveness criteria with 88,5% of student responses reaching the positive category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the creative thinking ability of students in arranging and solving contextual problems on arithmetic sequence. This research is a descriptive quantitative study through a Lesson Study framework with a subject of 18 students of the Mathematics Education study program at the Islamic University of Lamongan. The instruments in this study include attitude assessment sheets used to measure student activity in participating in learning and Student Worksheets used to measure students' creative thinking ability in arranging and solving contextual problems on arithmetic sequences. The results of the analysis show that the average score of student activities during learning is 85.13% while the average score of students' creative thinking ability is 71.875% in the Enough category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the Teaching Campus as an effort to grow the literacy ability of elementary school students. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research consisted of students of SD Budi Yakin Surabaya and students of SDN Langkap Madura. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results showed that students' literacy and numeracy skills have grown and developed. This can be seen from the increased understanding of the material learned, students can retell their reading results well. Students' dependence on teachers when working on LKS is reduced. The recommendation for campuses is that campuses must be able to prepare students' abilities as well as possible so that campus teaching programs provide benefits to schools.

Abstract

The domination number of graph  is the smallest cardinality of the domination set of graph G. A subset of a vertex set S of G is called the domination set if every element of  dominates every vertex of G, meaning that every vertex of G that is not an element of S is connected and one distance from S. The domination number has become interesting research studies on several graphs k -connected such as circulant graphs, grids, and wheels. This study aims to determine domination number of the other k-connected graph is Harary graph. The method used pattern detection and axiomatic deduction. The obtained results are new lemmas and theorems. The discussion obtained challenges new patterns of the smallest of domination number of Harary Graph, especially shape H_2,n, H_4,n, H_k,n and  for every n vertices, k even integer, and k<n.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' difficulties in solving the story of a system of two-variable linear equations based on Newman's theory. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Tests, interviews, and documentation are used as data collection processes. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research show that all mistakes based on Newman's theory are made by students. Final answer writing errors are the most common mistakes made by students with a percentage of 25.35%. Reading errors were made 15.04%, comprehension errors 16.16%, transformation errors 21.45%, and process skills errors 22.01%. Thus, students are expected to study harder and practice more questions to avoid mistakes in solving problems.

Abstract

This research formulates a new mathematical model that describes the dynamics of the spread and control of Hepatitis B, especially in Malang, East Java. The mathematical model that will be constructed considers various factors in Malang, mainly the saturated Incidence rate and vaccinations carried out on newborns. The equilibrium point of the system is determined and its stability is dynamically analized. The results of this analysis will determine the future prediction of the spread of Hepatitis B in Malang. Furthermore, a control strategy is proposed that is Clean and Healthy Living behavior (PHBS). The control strategy is analysed using optimal control theory. Pontryagin’s principle is used as a condition to obtain optimal conditions. Forward-backwards Sweep method in combination with the fourth order Runge-Kutta method is used to solve the optimal system.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' ability to solve HOTS-based mathematics problems with the theory of problem-solving from Polya. This study used classroom action research. Data collection techniques use interviews, tests, observations, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis techniques use a flow method consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed a classical improvement in students' ability to solve HOTS-based math problems, it can be seen that each indicator reaches a targeted percentage of ≥60%, starting from before the action to the second cycle of action. Thus, the conclusions of this study show that Polya’s problem-solving theory can improve students' ability to solve HOTS-based math problems.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate how a learning trajectory (LT) of multiplication rules support students in developing their understanding and reasoning skills. The learning activities in LT are developed by using Realistic Mathematics Education approach with Islamic values embedded. This study employed design research, which involved a cyclical process of preliminary design, experimental design, and retrospective analysis. The data were collected from 30 tenth-grade students an Islamic senior high school in Jember, Indonesia. The data collected from literature reviews, observations, interviews, videotaping, and tests. The results depicted that the LT of multiplication rules based realistic-Islamic context can support students’ thinking and reasoning about the concepts of multiplication rules. Most notably, the Islamic content and context may teach good deeds and principles that may be applied to students’ daily life.
