Abstract

This research aims to describe implementation of system-based thematic learning, in terms of supporting and inhibiting factors, efforts to optimize supporting factors, and overcoming inhibiting factors. This research was conducted at thrid grade SDN Tunggulsari II Laweyan Surakarta. This  research used descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research were teachers, students, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and document study. Implementation of online system-based thematic learning to regard condition of students and parents considerations. In implementation there are supporting factors are interest in learning, maximum parental assistance, availability of mobile phones, internet quota, and a stable network. While the inhibiting factors are lazy to learn, less maximal parental assistance, limited cellphone facilities, internet quota limited, and unstable network. Efforts to optimize the supporting factors are motivation and data collection on the distribution of internet quota assistance on a regular basis. Efforts to overcome inhibiting factors are teacher motivation and assistance, between parents and students, as well as the role of the community. This research is important for improve learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Analysys of online learning difficulties experienced by teachers and students in Indonesian Theme 4 KD 3.10 subjects in class III SD N Palur 03.The purpose of this study is to describe the difficulties of online learning experienced by teachers and students in Indonesian Language subjects Theme 4 KD 3.10. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data and data come from teachers and students. The number of research subjects was 10 students by taking samples using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and document study. The validity test used technical triangulation. Data analysis using interactive analysis techniques Milles and Huberman. The results showed that the difficulty of online learning experienced by teachers in the subject of Indonesian Language theme 4 KD 3.10, namely the difficulty of teachers in the preparation of subject matter, procurement of approaches and implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Meanwhile, online learning difficulties experienced by students in Indonesian theme 4 KD subjects 3.10, namely students mostly have difficulty in constructing their own knowledge and are technically constrained.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of the rights and obligations of community members by applying the Talking Stick cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The subjects of this study were fourth grade student of Mangkuyudan elementary school number 02 Surakarta with total of 28 students. This study uses data collection technique in the form of observations, documentation, field notes, tests, and. And interviews uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The first cycle of the second meeting produced a percentage of 52,17% classically, and the study continued with the second cycle of the second meeting with percentage of 83,33% classically. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the ability to improve the understanding of the concept of rights and obligatons of community members in grade 4 students of Mangkuyudan elementary school number 02 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through the cooperative learning model of the Talking Stick type.

Abstract

This study explores the difference between public and private school teachers’ self-perceived digital literacy and its implementation in classroom practice. This study only discuss four areas of digital literacy, which consist of devices and software operations, information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, as well as digital content creation. This research used self-reported questionnaires, semi-structured interview, and secondary data gathering to examine teacher’s self-perceived digital literacy and its implementation in classroom practice. The result of this study found that even though there’s no significant difference between public and private school’s teacher self–perceived digital literacy, there are some differences between the implementation of digital literacy in classroom practice. The finding also indicates that even though the teachers did integrate digital literacy in their classroom’s practice, only some pay attention to the cognitive and socio-emotional development of their pupil’s digital literacy.

Abstract

This research purpose to analtyze the errors carried out by student based on prosedural analysis Newman Error Analysis ini solving fraction material story questions. Newman’s analysis stresses on five spresific activity, which were reading, comprehension, transformation, process skill, and encoding. This research used qualitative with a sigle instrument. The subjects of this research were 5th grade students form SD Negeri Kawatan No 19 Surakarta academic year 2020/. The research subjects were taken purpoisvely with the consideration of predetermined criteria. The validity test technique used source triangulation and ted tehcnical triangulation. In the research used data analysis technique the domain analysis model and interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman.The result of this research showed the percentage from the most errors to the smallest error made by students in solving fraction material story questions, namely writing errors questions, encoding error 100% of the answers followed by process skills error 91,66% and transformation errors 37,5%.The existence of this error analysis can help teachers to correct existing error apply more caried ethod in accordance with subsequent mathematics leraning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the suitability of the components of the lesson plan of fifth grade theme 1 according to 2013 curriculum. This research used descriptive qualitative research method. As a data collection technique, the writer used documentation technique. As a data analyze, the writer used descriptive qualitative technique. The results showed that the lesson plan of grade V theme 1, component the identity of the lesson, lesson purpose, media, study materials, opening activity, main activity, closing activity, and assessment are suit according to 2013 curriculum. The results of this research indicate that the lesson plan of fifth grade Theme 1 that made by the teacher is in accordance with the provisions of the 2013 curriculum in terms of the components of lesson plan identity, learning objectives, learning media, teaching materials, opening activities, core activities, closing activities, and assessment. The implementation of the lesson plan will be maximized if the preparation pays more attention to the principles and criteria for the preparation of an appropriate lesson plan according to the 2013 curriculum. This research can practically be used as a reference material for teachers and schools in preparing an appropriate lesson plan according to the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out about the application of authentic assessment in the Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta Elementary School, and to determine the extent of the suitability between the applied authentic assessment and the Assessment Guidelines for Elementary Schools.This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The main subjects in this research were teachers of grade four H and the main object was an assessment document. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and document study techniques. Data validity in this research used data triangulation techniques. Analysis of the data used in this research is to use data analysis model of Miles and Huberman.The results of this research is The teacher applied three aspects of assessment. First, afektif aspect uses observation, self, and peer assessment techniques. Second, kognitif aspect uses written test assessment techniques, oral tests, and assignments. Third, psikomotor aspect uses performance and project assessment techniques. The conclusion of this research is that teachers have implemented an assessment of the 2013 Curriculum based on the Assessment Guidelines for Primary Schools published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, but not all of them have been implemented in practice.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) whether there is a relationship between mastery of literary literacy and  write children’s story; 2) the relationship of interest to learn with the ability to write children’s story; (3) the relationship between mastery literary literacy and interst to learn with the ability to write children’s story. The method used is the survey correlational method. The sample is 4 elementary schools, totaling 112 students. Data collection using tests and questionnaires. The ability to write children story is used in the form of a composing test instrument, an instrument of interest to learn used in the form of a questionnaire, mastering literary literacy of data variables obtained with choice test. Data were analyzed using simple correlation and multiple correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) there was a significant relationship between literary literacy mastery with the ability to write children storyr rcount (0,98)> rtable (0,192), the correlation coefficient tested by t test, the results of tcount (65,08)> ttable (1.98); (2) there is significant the relationship between interest to learn and write children story ability price r count (0,99)> r table (0,185), the correlation coefficient is tested by t test, the ttcount (65.08)> Table (1.98); (3) there is a significant correlation between literary literacy and interest to learn together with the ability to write narration. ry (1,2) equal to 0.97, the coefficient of significance with the F test obtained F count = 27517.35, the real level á = 0, 05, with df 109 obtained Ftable = 3.08 then Fcount> Ftable. Thus, it can be concluded that mastery of literacy and interest of learn has significant relationship with students' ability to write children story.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted to describe teacher’s personal and social competences applying disciplinary attitudes in civic education learning for grade I SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98 Academic Year 2020/2021. These research belongs to qualitative research with descriptive qualitative methodes and a case study approach. Teachers and students of class I SD Negeri Tegalrejo No. 98, totaling 14 students, became the research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is based on the interactive analysis technique of Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity by triangulating techniques and sources. The result showed that the disciplinary attitude of the students was quite good, but there were still some obstacles in its implementation. Indicators of collecting assignments directly in schools have not been fulfilled and there are still network constraints during the implementation of learning. Based on the research results, it can be said that the appplication of a disciplined attitude needs to be instilled from an early age.Keywords: personality and social teacher competency, discipline, elementary school, civic education learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning difficulties in social science of fourth grade students at Soropadan elementary school. The research data collected through document study analysis, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. Results of the data analysis showed that students experienced difficulties in material diversity in Indonesia, natural resources, economic activities, jobs, and kingdoms during the Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic periods. Form of learning difficulties was difficult to understand the subject matter or the assignment and forgot easily after learn. Difficulties occured because students through that there was a lot of social science material so that it had an impact on incomprehension, lack of interest in social science lessons, lack of parental assistance while learning, limited learning resources, implementation of learning was not going well. Efforts were made to overcome the learning difficulties of social sciences: teacher observed the learning process and outcomes of students, allowed the students to find information in internet, parents thought their children to read materials, include their children to tutoring, students reread materials, asked the parent, and look for information in internet. This research can be used as a guide in minimizing learning difficulties of social science.Keywords: learning difficulties, social science, causative factor, effort, and elementary school
