Abstract

This is a classroom action research with 2 cycles of actions, each cycle consists of 2 meetings. This study aims to increase students learning interest though the application of the Talking Stick learning model. The subjects  are the students of classe 5 SDN Mangkubumen Kulon No.83 on the academic year 2019/2020 with total 14 students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique used are the source triangulation and technique triangulation. In this study data analysis used the Miles-Huberman interactive analysis model. The first cycle 50% of students have high learning interest, the study continued to the second cycle resulting in 85.72% of students having high learning interest. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning interest of students in grade 5 at SDN Mangkubumen Kulon No.83 in the academic year 2019/2020 can be increased through the application of the Talking Stick learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve nonfiction text writing skills at V C students of Djama’atul Ichwan Elementary School by REACT learning model. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of one meeting. There are four stages that are passed in each cycle. The stages are a) planning, b) implementation of actions, c) observation, and d) reflection. The subject of this research was a teacher and 22 students of class V C. Data in this reseacrh were collected through interview, tests, observations, and documentations. The data then tested foe validity by data triangulation and techniques triangulation. Miles & Huberman interactive analysis is used as a data analysis technique in this research. The minimum completeness criteria for Indonesian subjects was 75. The results showed classical completeness in the first cycle was 52,38%, increased again to 80,95% in the second cycle, and in the third cycle the clasical completeness was 86,36%. Based on the results obtained, it can be seen that the application of the REACT learning model can improve the nonfiction text writing skills of elementary school students in Surakarta in the 2019/2020 school year.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims are: 1) to improve writing skills again through the application of cooperative learning in the type of think talk write, and 2) to describe the results of the application of cooperative learning in the type of think talk write. This research is a class action research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 4th grade students at Karangasem III Elementary School Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 31 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation analysis and tests with content validity data analysis, technical triangulation and source triangulation. Analysis of the data used is describing comparative analysis and Miles-Huberman interactive analysis models. The conclusion is that the writing skills of the 4th grade students at Karangasem III Elementary School in Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through cooperative learning in the type of think talk write. Abstract

This research aims to improve the understanding of the concepts of the Pancasila precepts by using the talking stick learning model. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with four stages there are planning,action,observation,reflecting. Data collection techniques are tests, interview, observations, and documentation. Data validity uses triangulation of methods and data sources. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis techniques. The results of the study prove that the use of the talking stick model can increase the understanding of the concepts of the Pancasila precepts.

Abstract

This research aims to improve nonfiction text writing skills by implementing a Circuit Learning Model. The Type of this research is Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles. The subject of this research were 24 fifth grade students of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School during 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection in this research uses interviews, tests, observations, and documentation with triangulation and data analysis of content. Qualitative data analysis used Miles- Huberman interactive analysis model. While, quantitative data analysis are the result of nonfiction text writing skills. The pre-action cycle resulting in percentage of 4,2% in classically, continued with the first cycle with the  percentage of 33,3% in classical and in the last cycle resulting in percentage of 95,5% classically. Based on the result obtained, it can be concluded that nonfiction text writing skills of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School in the 2019/ 2020 academic year can be upgraded through the implementation of the Circuit Learning Model. <w:LsdException Locked="false" Priority="46" Nam

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve the concluding skills in natural science learning using Edutainment methods based on Guided Discovery Learning (GDL). The type of research is classroom action research. The subject of the research were the 3rd grade student of SD N Kerten II No. 243 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year, totalling 12 student. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, concluding skills test, and documentation. Data validity techniques using content validity and triangulation. Data analysis techniques using the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The result showed the percentage of the first indicator of the pre-cycle stage was 0,00%, increased in the first cycle to be 45,45%, and increased in the second cycle to be 91,67%. The percentage on the second indicator shows the pre-cycle stage was 0,00%, increased in the first cycle to be 27,27%, and increased in the second cycle to be 100%. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of edutainment method based on guided discovery learning can improve the concluding skills of natural science learning in 3rd grade students of SD N Kerten II No. 243 Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

Activities carried out between individuals and individuals with an environtment that will bring good change. Learning activities are very influential on the learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning activities of fourth grade students in the subject of Indonesian language theme 5 Elementary School of Pajang 4 Surakarta.This research uses qualitative research with a case study method. The activities studied were visual activities, speaking activities, listening activities, writing activities,and motor activities carried out during learning at home. This research subjects were teachers and all of fourth grade students. Data obtained from questionnaire sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results of visual activities were in the the medium category with total 16 students. The indicators speaking activities in the medium category with total 12  students. For the medium category of listening activities, the number of students is 17 students. The indicator for writing activity in the medium category with 17 students. And the last is high category is for motor activity with total 16 students.

Abstract

The research was conducted to analyze the teacher’s role to increasing students reading interest. The teacher’s role is important because teacher guides, encourages, and monitors the students. Increasing students reading interest is important. Some students don’t like reading because of a lack of reading habits and affected by technological advances. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods and a case study approach. The research was conducted at Karangasem 3 Elementary School in 2020. The subject is the teacher. The data are obtained from the location, teachers, and students. The data are obtained from observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data validity used source and technique triangulation. Analysis using interactive analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the teacher's role in increasing students reading interest was applied by creating, facilitating, motivating, evaluating, and dynamizing reading activities. As a creator, the teacher makes new ideas in reading, as a facilitator the teacher provides physical facilities (infrastructure) and non-physical (services) related to reading activities, as a motivator the teacher always encourages students, as a evaluator, teacher evaluates the achievement of reading activities, and as a teacher dynamic, making reading activities continuity.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa tentang penggunaan aplikasi web Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru yang mengajar di kelas V yang berjumlah tiga orang dan sebagian siswa kelas V SDN Sondakan Surakarta yang berjumlah 26 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Analisis hasil angket menggunakan rumus persentase dan data wawancara dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Dari hasil angket diketahui bahwa persepsi siswa cenderung positif terhadap penggunaan aplikasi web “Quizizz” sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the meaning of parental involvement in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN Gesikan Desa Gesikan in 2020. Parents have an important involvement in the online learning process carried out by children during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement includes providing facilities, motivation, and guiding online learning. This research is classified into qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were parents, students, and teachers at SDN Gesikan. The selection of research subjects was carried out by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using Miles and Hubeman through data collection, data reduction, and data verification. The data validity used source triangulation. The results showed that parents were involved in children's online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Parental involvement in the online learning process experienced by children includes providing facilities, motivation, and guidance. Parents feel sad about children's online learning due to the lack of explanation from the teacher.
