Career readiness is very important for a students future career success. Career readiness is how much individuals are willing to exert themselves to achieve career goals. Based on the phenomena in the field, there are still many college graduates who work not according to their study background, after completing their undergraduate education, they are not ready to face the competition in the world of work. This paper gives a theoretical overview of the careereadiness of college students. This research is a literature study, a method used to collect data or sources related to the topic raised in a study. The data about the determinant factors that affect career readiness that have been obtained are then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods.

Adolescence is a period where individuals have high emotional tension, especially social pressure and new conditions. Therefore, teenagers often find it difficult to adjust to the environment and the problems that occur to them. Difficulties in adjustment experienced by adolescents are influenced by several factors, one of which is emotional maturity. Adolescents are said to have reached emotional maturity if they do not explode their emotions in front of others, assess the situation critically, display appropriate reactions according to the situation in their social environment. Adolescents who master emotions well can control themselves over their environment so that they are able to adapt to existing conditions. The purpose of this study is to describe the condition of emotional maturity and adolescent adjustment. The sample in this study was 241 students from SMAN 4 Padang. Sampling using Statified Random Sampling technique. The findings of this study are, emotional maturity in the high category, adolescent self-adjustment in the high category, there is a significant positive relationship between emotional maturity and adolescent self-adjustment

Kegiatan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah saat ini dirasakan masih belum optimal, hal ini dikarenakan beberapa guru BK atau Konselor masih belum menguasai teknik konseling kontemporer yang sesuai dengan permasalahan siswa yang semakin kompleks pada era globalisasi saat ini. Oleh sebab itu penulis membuat artikel ini agar dapat dijadikan referensi untuk pelaksanaan konseling dengan menggunakan teknik Expressive Arts dan dimaksudkan juga untuk membantu guru BK atau konselor sekolah dalam memahami konsep Expressive Arts. Every student has a goal to be succesfull in everyday activities both in class and outside of lectures. To achieve this success requires fighting power and readiness to face the problem, namely the adversity quotient. This research is motivated by the problem that occur among female students in terms of ethnic backgorunds, namely Javenese and Minangk in overcoming difficulties and problem both inside and outside academia. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study that describes the Javanese and Minang ethnicities. The sample consisted of 200 people who were divided into two ethnicities with 100 students each who were taken using insidental sampling techniques. The isntrument used was a questionnaire with a Likerd scale model and proessed through statictical techniques with a percentage formula. To see the difference in the level of adversity quotient among female students from javanese and Minang, the t-test technque was used with the help of SPSS 25.0 software. The finding of the study were that there was no significant difference between the level of adversity quotient between female students of Javanese and Minang ethnicities, indicated by significance of 0,039, it was found that the t count was 1,366 which was smaller than the t table of 1,984 with 98 degress of freedom (df) at the 5% confidence level.

Pernikahan menjadi salah satu impian yang ingin diwujudkan oleh individu dalam kehidupannya. Pernikahan dapat berlangsung jika telah terpenuhinya ketentuan atau persyaratan dalam mengajukan permohonan pernikahan. Salah satu persyaratan tersebut adalah sudah tercukupinya batasan umur, yaitu minimal berusia 19 tahun. Namun di masyarakat, masih adanya pernikahan anak di bawah umur. Banyak faktor yang menjadi alasan berlangsungnya pernikahan itu. Salah satunya adalah tuntutan dari orangtua untuk segera menikah dikarenakan lingkungan sekitarnya juga melakukan hal demikian. Sehingga jika tidak melakukan hal seperti itu, maka akan menjadi perbincangan di lingkungannya tersebut. Artikel ini membahas tentang pelayanan konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam mencegah pernikahan usia dini dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan.

The problem of bullying has increased in recent years, especially for vocational students in the province of West Sumatra, this study will examine the problems in how the characteristics, factors, impacts, and efforts have been made by BK teachers and the school in overcoming bullying behavior. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data of this research are counseling guidance teachers, students of Vocational Schools of West Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques, interviews, through questionnaires and research results, bullying that occurs in vocational students in the province of West Sumatra is in the moderate category with a percentage of 41%. Guidance and counseling has an important function in overcoming problems that occur, with various counseling guidance services expected to be able to prevent bullying from occurring in the school environment.

Tak semua remaja bisa merasakan segala aspek seperti dukungan keluarga, fasilitas yang memadai, dan kondisi keluarga yang begitu nyaman sehingga remaja sebagai seorang anak akan sangat memungkinkan untuk menjadi remaja dengan pribadi yang positif dan berprestasi. Remaja sangat memerlukan keteladanan dan dukungan dari orang tua dan orang dewasa lainnya untuk mampu menghadapi tantangan dan cobaan hidup, sehingga menjadi remaja yang cenderung memiliki resiliensi yang tinggi. Kondisi mindfulness adalah kondisi individu yang secara sadar membawa pengalamannya ke kondisi saat ini dengan penuh rasa keterbukaan dan rasa penerimaan. Psikoedukasi merupakan pengembangan dan pemberian informasi dalam bentuk pendidikan masyarakat sebagai informasi yang berkaitan dengan psikologi sederhana atau informasi lain yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan psikososial masyarakat.

The homeroom teacher has a greater daily intensity contact with students than the counselor teacher. The study aimed to describe the homeroom teacher role in Guidance and Counseling services at school. This research used descriptive quantitative research method. The subjects in this study were 24 homeroom teachers at Junior High School 25 Padang in the 2021/2022 school year. The data were collected by questionnaires on the homeroom teacher role in Guidance and Counseling services at the school. The result showed that the role of the homeroom teacher in Guidance and Counseling services in schools as a whole was in the high category which broken down into eight aspects: 1) Helping counselor teacher carried out their duties, was in the high category. 2) Helping counselor teacher identified students who needed BK services, was in the high category. 3) Transferring students who needed counseling services from counselor teacher, was in the high category. 4) Accepting the transferred students from counselor teacher who required special training services such as enrichment, was in the high category. 5) Helping in developing a classroom atmosphere; teacher-student relationships, and student-student relationships that supported the implementation of counseling services, was in the high category. 6) Helping in providing opportunities and convenience to students who needed counseling services, was in the high category. 7) Participating in counseling activities, especially in handling student problem such as case conferences, this was in the high category. 8) Assisting in collecting the information needed in the context of evaluating counseling services as a follow-up effort, was in the very high category. Based on the results of this study, the suggested services that can be provided to increase the role of the homeroom teacher in the implementation of Guidance and Counseling were information services that mastering individual counseling content and services.

Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena yang sangat rentan dengan masalah seksualitas atau perilaku seks bebas. Perilaku seks bebas dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor baik internal maupun eksternal. Dari faktor internal adalah karakter. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman karakter-cerdas, mendeskripsikan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas siswa dan mendeskripsikan hubungan pemahaman karakter-cerdas dengan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan populasi siswa SMK Negeri 6 Padang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling dengan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket berskala tentang pemahaman karakter-cerdas dan angket kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas siswa. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif persentase dan untuk menguji hubungan kedua variabel, digunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment dengan program Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 25.0. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara pemahaman karakter-cerdas dengan kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas siswa, (2) pemahaman karakter-cerdas sangat menentukan bagaimana pengaruh seks bebas pada siswa. Artinya semakin tinggi pemahaman karakter-cerdas siswa maka semakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku seks bebasnya, begitu juga sebaliknya. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, disarankan untuk mencegah kecenderungan perilaku seks bebas, disarankan guru BK atau konselor dapat memberikan bimbingan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karakter-cerdas melalui layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling Kelompok.

The phenomenon of smoking in Indonesia is very concerning because it has penetrate to school children. Often found in a number of places such as stalls, terminals, or other hangout places, a group of junior high and high school students joking around while competing to smoke cigarettes. Some of the causes of students doing these acts are because they are following their friends, just trying, and to relieve stress, there are even students who have become active smokers. The aim of the researcher is to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques in reducing students' smoking behavior. The type of research used is a quantitative pre-experimental design using a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 68 male students with a sample of 7 students of class XIII. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and observation. The results of data analysis showed that the average pre-test result was 64.85 and the post-test average was 44.8. Obtained Zcount = -2,371 with a value of Ztable = 1,645. The results obtained showed a decrease in the average value after the post-test. Based on this, it can be concluded that group counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques is effective or significant in reducing students' smoking behavior.
