Abstract

Penelitian ini menggali berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas kebijakan sosial dalam mengurangi ketimpangan pendapatan dan angka kemiskinan di Indonesia. Lanskap sosio-ekonomi suatu negara dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu utama yang berdampak pada hasil kebijakan. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengungkap interaksi yang rumit antara faktor-faktor sosio-ekonomi, budaya, regional, politik, dan tata kelola yang membentuk efektivitas kebijakan sosial dalam mengatasi kesenjangan pendapatan dan kemiskinan. Memahami hubungan dinamis di antara variabel-variabel ini sangat penting dalam merumuskan kebijakan sosial yang tepat sasaran dan berdampak. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada masih adanya tantangan yang dihadapi Indonesia dalam mencapai pemerataan pembangunan sosial-ekonomi. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif digunakan, dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder untuk menganalisis faktor sosial dan ekonomi, pengaruh budaya, dan dinamika pemerintahan yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan kebijakan sosial. Temuan-temuan ini mengungkap berbagai hubungan antara kondisi sosio-ekonomi, aspek budaya, dan struktur pemerintahan, sehingga menyoroti kompleksitas yang harus dihadapi oleh para pembuat kebijakan. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman komprehensif tentang efektivitas kebijakan sosial dalam mengentaskan ketimpangan pendapatan dan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Wawasan yang diperoleh dapat menjadi masukan bagi perumusan kebijakan di masa depan dan meningkatkan agenda pembangunan sosio-ekonomi.

Abstract

AbstractEthics in carrying out organizational activities is very important in every life, both in community life and within the government environment. Ethics is often described as a reference for acting towards society. Ethics is also associated with the science of human behavior and decency which concerns norms or rules regarding good and bad behavior or traits. Ethics is a reference for bureaucrats to manage government towards good governance. Ethics in bureaucracy is very clearly regulated, but in real conditions today it is very much a concern. Bureaucratic behavior often goes beyond the rules which not only affects the environment but also influences the work culture which ultimately has an impact on society. In this case, the researcher's aim in the research is to find out the ethics of administrative services in realizing good governance at the Kolam Village Office, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The type of research in this research is descriptive research using qualitative research methods and using interview data collection techniques. Based on the results of interviews as well as observations and observations made by researchers in the field, it was found that the employees at the Pond Village Head's Office, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, had carried out every task given to them well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas perang modern dalam konteks perkembangan teknologi nuklir dan kompleksitas permasalahan yang muncul seiring dengan bertambahnya penduduk. Perang modern menonjolkan modernisasi kombatan untuk menjaga kelayakan pertempuran. Perang modern telah mengalami transformasi signifikan dalam konsep, metode, dan teknologi militer, memerlukan modernisasi bagi kombatan agar tetap efektif dalam pertempuran. penelitian ini menjelaskan perkembangan perang dari generasi pertama hingga keempat, fokus pada perang modern atau sering disebut sebagai perang asimetris. Perang generasi keempat menekankan peran politik yang superior dan strategi tanpa keterlibatan militer formal. Sejarah perang dari generasi pertama hingga ketiga mencerminkan perubahan dalam taktik, kecepatan, dan kekuatan mental prajurit. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi literatur. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sisi positif dan negatif dari perang ini.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah utama dalam lalu lintas adalah kecelakaan lalu lintas yang menimbulkan korban jiwa dan kerugian material. Perilaku komunitas sangat menentukan dalam pelanggaran lalu lintas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui atau menganalisis: (1) faktor penyebab terjadinya pelanggaran lalu lintas dan (2) strategi yang dilakukan oleh SATLANTAS dalam mengurangi pelanggaran lalu lintas sehingga tercapainya masyarakat patuh hukum. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, dan teori yang digunakan adalah teori perspektif konstruksi sosial. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: Penegakan hukum lalu lintas dalam rangka tercapainya masyarakat patuh hukum belum bekerja secara profesional dikarenakan penerapan hukum tidak dilaksanakan sebagaimana mestinya, sikap penegak hukum yang belum profesional, serta sarana dan prasarana yang terbatas untuk mendukung terlaksananya penegakan hukum.

Abstract

Interest in subscribing to Netflix's video on demand service is influenced by several factors, namely service quality, price perception, promotion, customer service, subscription interest, as well as the influence of service quality, price perception, promotion, and customer care/service on interest in subscribing to video on demand services. The method used is a quantitative method. Based on conclusive objectives, survey research strategy, type of causal investigation, based on individual analysis units, researcher involvement does not interfere with the data, non-conflict background and cross-sectional research implementation time In this research, the results showed that the t-count of service quality on subscription interest was 9.992, the t-count of price perception on subscription interest was 1.999, the t-count of promotion on subscription interest was 10.889, and the t-count of customer care/service was 4,933. Based on the results of the research, it is concluded that the variables Service Quality, Price Perception, Promotion and Customer Care/Service have a positive effect on Interest in Subscribing to Netflix Video on Demand.

Abstract

The phenomenon of children choosing the wrong major in high school students who want to continue to the university level has become a common thing. This will have an impact on the quality of learning during college so that it will affect their future. This study aims to identify the role of parents in decision-making related to the selection of study programs and universities. Grade 12 students were the subjects of this study with a sample of 35 people. This study uses a quantitative method, data collection is used using the survey method. The aspects identified include parental support and involvement in helping children choose courses and colleges. This study results in 80% of parents are involved in choosing the study program and college that their child wants. In the final decision, 54% of children choose study programs and colleges of their own choice and 46% are the choice of parents. This research is the basis for the school's information to further develop the potential of students to find out early on students' interests and talents and also the school can involve parents in providing information about study programs, colleges, and future careers that can be pursued by their children.

Abstract

Abstract This research examines the implementation of the street vendor management policy. Taman Sari, Serang City. A descriptive qualitative method was used to collect data from the Office of Cooperatives, SMEs, Industry & Trade of Serang City. The findings show the government's efforts in relocating traders to more strategic locations, but there are obstacles such as the lack of facilities and infrastructure and suboptimal location changes. Nonetheless, the majority of merchants follow the government's guidelines because they feel it is beneficial for them. Inter-organizational coordination, effective use of resources, and the ability of implementing agents are key in achieving successful policy implementation. The findings of this study shed light on the difficulties encountered in implementing the street vendor arrangement policy and highlight the necessity of inter-organizational collaboration and effective resource management. In conclusion, to achieve policy objectives effectively, joint efforts from various parties are needed to overcome the obstacles that arise during the implementation process.

Abstract

The focus of this journal is the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Serang City. The central and local governments continue to study the problem of poverty, which is a social phenomenon. One of the underdevelopment factors that hinder a country's progress is a high poverty rate. The government continues to try to reduce poverty through various programs and assistance that directly touches the community, such as the Family Hope Program (PKH), which focuses on the poor in Serang City. However, there are still PKH recipients who are actually economically capable, and this should be a concern for PKH implementers because the main focus of this assistance is the poor. The Family Hope Program (PKH) has helped recipients in reducing the burden of education costs by providing funds to buy stationery, uniforms, and other educational needs. The program also has a positive impact on the economy of recipient families, such as being used as business capital. However, Kota Serang's human resources face obstacles in implementing the Family Hope Program (PKH) because they are unable to handle problems that do not meet the target of assistance. It is difficult to handle the problem of data that is not updated and is not accurate to the current situation of the recipients.

Abstract

This study investigates the interconnections between the rising instances of illegal online loans, illegal online gambling, and the prevalence of sugar daddy relationships in Indonesia. The research aims to explore how financial desperation, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, drives individuals towards these activities and the resulting socio-economic impacts. Utilizing a literature synthesis and content analysis of secondary data sources, including scientific articles, government reports, and media narratives, this study identifies common drivers and regulatory challenges. The findings reveal that economic hardship, lack of financial literacy, and cultural influences are key factors contributing to the proliferation of these phenomena. The study concludes with recommendations for comprehensive regulatory frameworks, public awareness campaigns, and strengthened social support systems to mitigate the adverse effects on Indonesian society.

Abstract

Political ethics that are lacking in both government and society often create an environment where Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism (CCN) can thrive unchecked. These CCN practices not only cause economic harm but also threaten social and political justice within the community. Injustice in wealth distribution and opportunity is another frequent consequence of this lack of political ethics. Furthermore, the Pancasila ideology, as the foundation of the Indonesian state, is often obscured in everyday political practice. This obscuration can hinder the democratization process and the achievement of social justice envisioned by the nation's founders. Nurcholish Madjid, an Indonesian Muslim intellectual, offers a pertinent perspective on improving political ethics. According to Madjid, good political ethics should be based on the principle of equitable justice for all citizens and promote inclusive and participatory democracy. Madjid also emphasizes the importance of transparency in the political process, where the public has broad access to information and government decisions. Referring to Madjid's thoughts, efforts to enhance political ethics in Indonesia can be achieved by emphasizing values of justice, democracy, and transparency. This not only reduces CCN practices and injustice but also creates greater space for the recognition and implementation of Pancasila values in Indonesian political and social life as a whole. Nurcholish's political thoughts, if applied in national life, especially in the current context, are highly relevant because Indonesia still needs a better and more just political system and order. It is time for Indonesia to reform and reshape not only a more democratic and socially just political framework but also to realize political ethics as described above, which tend to be neglected.
