Abstract

ABSTRAKKajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat signifikansi hubunganantara partisipasi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan P2L dengan motivasi, pendidikan,sarana dan prasarana serta dukungan keluarga. Kajian ini adalah kajian kuantitatif.Kajian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2020-Mei 2021 di KWT Wanita MandiriDesa Neknang, Kecamatan Bakam, Kabupaten Bangka. Metode pengumpulan datadengan metode koesioner dan wawancara. Penentuan sampel respondenmenggunakan sensus/sampling total, dan diperoleh responden sebanyak 32 oranganggota dan pengurus KWT Wanita Mandiri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisisdeskriptif dan korelasi rank spearman. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untukmenegtahui tingktan partisipasi, sedangkan korelasi rank spearman digunkan untukmengetahui signifikansi hubungan pertisipasi dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan P2L.Berdasarkan hasil kajian diperoleh tingkat partisipasi anggota berada pada kategorisedang. Motivasi memiliki nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0.073>0,05 dengan nilai koefisienkorelasi sebesar 0,322, Pendidikan 0,083>0,05 nilai koefisien korelasi 0,311, Saranadan Prasarana 0.000< 0,05 nilai koefisen korelasi 0.697**, dan dukungan keluargadengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,005<0,05 koefisien korelasi 0.489**. Maka didapatkankesimpulan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara motivasi denganpartisipasi, tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan anatara pendidikan denganpartisipasi, terdapat hubungan yang signifikan anatara sarana dan prasaranadengan partisipasi serta tedapat hubungan yang signifikan anatara dukungankeluarga dengan partisipasi.ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine whether there is a significant relationshipbetween participation in the implementation of P2L activities with motivation,education, facilities and infrastructure and family support. This study is a quantitativestudy. The study was conducted in November 2020-May 2021 at the KWT WanitaMandiri in Neknang Village, Bakam District, Bangka Regency. Methods of datacollection with the method of questionnaires and interviews. Determination of thesample of respondents using a census/total sampling, and the respondents obtainedas many as 32 members and administrators of KWT Wanita Mandiri. Data wereanalyzed using descriptive analysis and Spearman rank. Descriptive analysis wasused to determine the level of participation, while Spearman rank was used todetermine the significance of the relationship between participation and theimplementation of P2L activities. Based on the results of the study, it was found thatthe level of member participation was in the medium category. Motivation has avalue of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.073>0.05 with a correlation coefficient value of 0.322,Education 0.083>0.05 correlation coefficient value 0.311, Facilities and Infrastructure0.000<0.05 the correlation coefficient value 0.697**, and family support with a Sig.(2-tailed) 0.005<0.05 correlation coefficient 0.489**. So it can be concluded thatthere is no significant relationship between motivation and participation, there is nosignificant relationship between education and participation, there is a significantrelationship between facilities and infrastructure and participation and there is asignificant relationship between family support and participation.Keyword: Factors, KWT Members, P2L, Participation, Relationships.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peternak terhadapfodder jagung (Zea mays) hidroponik sebagai alternatif pakan domba dan faktorfaktoryang mempengaruhi persepsi peternak. Penelitian dilakukan di DesaKwadungan, Kecamatan Kalikajar, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling denganjumlah responden 30 orang. Alat yang digunakan yaitu panduan wawancara dankuesioner. Variabel yang diamati yaitu persepsi peternak domba yang dilihat darikarakteristik inovasi keuntungan relatif, kesesuaian, kerumitan, ketercobaan danketerlihatan, selanjutnya dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif menggunakan skalalikert. Variabel berikutnya yaitu faktor-faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi persepsipeternak yaitu umur, pendidikan, pengalaman beternak, kepemilikan ternak dan luaslahan, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis statistik regresi linear berganda. Hasilanalisis diperoleh skor keuntungan relatif sebesar 411, kesesuaian 399, kerumitan402, ketercobaan 397 dan keterlihatan 399, dengan skor total 2008 dengan kategorisangat baik. Variabel independen secara simultan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05)dengan persepsi peternak. Sedangkan secara parsial, umur berpengaruh nyata(P<0,05) terhadap persepsi peternak, namun pendidikan, pengalaman beternak,kepemilikan ternak dan luas lahan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap persepsi.Kesimpulan bahwa persepsi peternak terhadap alternatif pakan domba fodder jagung(Zea mays) hidroponik dengan kategori sangat baik, dan hanya faktor umur yangberpengaruh nyata pada persepsi peternak (P<0,05). ABSTRACTThe research was carried out in Kwadungan Village, Kalikajar District,Wonosobo Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the farmer'sperception of hydroponics fodder corn (Zea mays) as sheep feed and the factors thatinfluence the farmer's perception. Sampling was done by purposive random samplingtechnique with the number of respondents 30 people. The tool used is a questionnaireand interview guide, the observed variable is the perception of sheep breeders seenfrom the characteristics of innovation relative advantage, suitability, complexity,trialability and visibility, then analyzed by descriptive method using a Likert scale. Thesecond variable is the factors that are thought to influence the perception of farmers,namely age, education, livestock experience, livestock ownership and land area, thenanalyzed by statistical analysis of multiple linear regression. The results of the analysisobtained are relative advantage of 411, suitability of 399, complexity of 402, trialability of 397 and visibility of 399, with a total score of 2008 in the very good category. The independent variable simultaneously had a real effect (P<0.05) on the farmer's perception. Meanwhile, partially, age had a significant effect (P<0.05) on farmers' perceptions, but education, livestock experience, livestock ownership and land area had no significant effect on perceptions. The conclusion is that the farmer's perception of the hydroponic fodder corn (Zea mays) sheep feed alternative was in the very good category, while only the age factor had a significant effect on the farmer's perception (P<0.05).Keywords: Perception, Sheep Breeder, Corn Fodder, Hydroponics, Zea mays

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kultur budaya pemeliharaan sapiPeranakan Onggole (PO) di Desa Beji Kecamatan Kedung Banteng KabupatenBanyumas. Sedangkan tujuan khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah dapat menerapkanpola pemeliharaan sapi PO secara modern dengan bantuan teknologi yang ada,sehingga pola pemeliharaan yang hanya bersifat sebagai usaha sampingan danmasih besifat tradisional menjadi pola budaya beternak yang modern, sehingga dapatmeningkatkan taraf hidup kesejahteraan peternak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selamatiga bulan yaitu bulan Agustus sampai bulan Oktober 2021 bertempat di Desa BejiKecamatan Kedung Banteng Kabupaten Banyumas. Alasan penelitian dilaksanakandi desa ini, karena populasi ternak sapi PO tergolong tinggi, bahan pakan tersediadalam jumlah besar baik hijauan segar maupun pakan dari sisa hasil pertanian danyang utama kontur wilayahnya mendukung untuk pengembangan sapi PO, tetapikultur budaya pemeliharaannya masih bersifat tradisional dan hanya sebagai usahasampingan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan observasi langsungke peternak dengan cara pemberian penyuluhan secara langsung ke peternak denganmemberikan wawasan kultur pemeliharaan yang modern, baik segi pemeliharaan,pemberian pakan, penanganan penyakit maupun pemasaran ternak. Dengan adanyapenelitian kultur budaya pemeliharaan sapi PO di Desa Beji Kecamatan KedungBanteng Kabupaten Banyumas diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan peternakdalam pemeliharaan sapi PO dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan peternakkhususnya di Desa Beji. ABSTRCTThis study aims to determine the culture of raising Onggole Peranakan (PO)cattle in Beji Village, Kedung Banteng District, Banyumas Regency. While the specificgoal to be achieved is to be able to apply a modern pattern of raising PO cattle withthe help of existing technology, so that the maintenance pattern that is only a sidebusiness and is still traditional becomes a modern farming culture pattern, so that itcan improve the welfare of farmers. This research was carried out for three months,from August to October 2021 at Beji Village, Kedung Banteng District, BanyumasRegency. The reason for this research was carried out in this village, because thepopulation of PO cattle is high, feed ingredients are available in large quantities, bothfresh forage and feed from agricultural residues, and most importantly, the contoursof the area support the development of PO cattle. as a sideline. The method used is asurvey method and direct observation to farmers by providing direct counseling tofarmers by providing insight into modern maintenance culture, both in terms ofmaintenance, feeding, disease handling and livestock marketing. Abstract

ABSTRAKTrigona sp. merupakan salah satu lebah yang dapat menghasilkan madu danbisa dibudidayakan di sekitar rumah. Budidaya Trigona sp. dapat dijadikan sebagaisuatu peluang bisnis yang mempunyai prospek cukup baik bagi masyarakat dikawasan pedesaan, salah satunya di Desa Sangatta Selatan Kecamatan SangattaSelatan, Kutai Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan alternatif strategipengembangan budidaya lebah madu di Komunitas Trigona Sangatta, Desa SangattaSelatan (studi kasus). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai April 2020di Desa Sangatta Selatan. Metode pengambilan dan pengolahan data menggunakanFGD (Focus Group Discussion) dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 7 orang daripengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan pertimbangan purposive sampling.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, strategi pengembangan dalam budidaya lebah maduTrigona sp. adalah kuadran 1 (strategi agresif). Strategi agresif tersebut menunjukkanbahwa situasi budidaya lebah madu menguntungkan melalui faktor kekuatan danpeluang dengan titik koordinat x 1, 85 dan koordinat y 1, 98, maka strategi yang harus diterapkan untuk budidaya lebah madu terletak pada posisi kuadran I yaitumendukung kebijakan pertumbuhan yang agresif (Growth Oriented Strategy). Strategiagresif artinya bersifat menyerang sesuatu yang dapat menghambat proses kegiatan,dalam budidaya diharapkan usaha budidaya lebah madu terus berkembang agarusaha untuk tumbuh dan meraih kemajuan dapat tercapai dengan maksimal. ABSTRACTTrigona sp. is one of the bees that can produce honey and can be cultivatedaround the house. Cultivation of Tri sp. can be used as a business opportunity thathas good prospects for people in rural areas, one which in South Sangatta Village,South Sangatta District, East Kutai. This study aims to formulate an alternative strategy for developing honey bee cultivation in the Trigona Sangatta Community,Sangatta Selatan Village (case study). The research was conducted from February toApril 2020 in Sangatta Selatan Village. Method of data collection and processing using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) with total sample of 7 people from the sampling was carried out with the consideration of purposive sampling. Based on the research results, the development strategy in Trigona sp. honey bee cultivation is quadrant I (aggressive strategy). The aggressive strategy showed that the situation of honey bee cultivation is profitable through the strength and opportunity factors with a coordinate of x 1,85 and y coordinate of 1,98, then the strategy that must be applied for honey bee cultivation lies in quadrant I position, namely supporting aggresive growth policies (growth oriented strategy). Aggressive strategy means attacking something that can hamper the process of activity, in cultivation be expected that honey bee cultivation will be continued to develop so that efforts to grow and achieve progress can be maximally achieved.Keywords: Honey Bee (Trigona sp.), FGD, Developmnet Strategy, SWOT.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian dilaksanakan pada Maret sampai Mei 2021 di Desa BumiharjoKecamatan Borobudur Kabupaten Magelang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui persepsi peternak terhadap pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) urinesapi potong dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik inovasi terhadap persepsipeternak dalam pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) urine sapi potong. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Jumlah sampel dalampenelitian ini sebanyak 35 orang yang merupakan peternak sapi di Desa Bumiharjo.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi. Variabelyang diamati terdiri dari variabel independen yaitu karakteristik inovasi dan variabeldependen yaitu persepsi peternak. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalahanalisis deskriptif menggunakan skala likert pada penentuan persepsi dan analisisstatistik dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruhkarakteristik inovasi terhadap persepsi peternak. Hasil dari analisis deskriptif yangdiperoleh menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peternak terhadap pembuatan PupukOrganik Cair (POC) urine sapi potong berada di kategori tinggi dengan nilai sebesar1.837. Hasil analisis regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik inovasi(X) berpengaruh sangat signifikan (0,000<0,01) terhadap persepsi peternak (Y).ABSTRACTThis Research will be held from March 2021 to May 2021 in Bumiharjo Village,Borobudur District, Magelang Regency. This study aims to determine the perceptionof farmers on the manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of beef cattle urineand to determine the effect of the characteristics of innovation on the perception offarmers in the manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of beef cattle urine. Thesampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. The number of samples in thisstudy were 35 people who were cattle breeders in Bumiharjo Village. Data collectiontechniques were carried out by means of interviews and observations. The observedvariables consisted of the independent variable, namely the characteristics ofinnovation and the dependent variable, namely the farmer's perception. The dataanalysis method used is descriptive analysis using a Likert scale in determiningperceptions and statistical analysis with simple linear regression analysis to determinethe effect of innovation characteristics on farmers' perceptions. The results of thedescriptive analysis obtained indicate that the perception of farmers on themanufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of beef cattle urine is in the highcategory with a value of 1,837. Abstract

ABSTRAKDedak dan onggok merupakan produk hasil samping dari pertanian danagroindustri yang banyak digunakan dalam menyusun konsentrat ternak ruminansiasebagai bahan pakan sumber energi. Produk hasil samping pertanian yang lain yaitukulit singkong. Berdasarkan ketersediaannya yang banyak serta kandungan BETNdan TDN yang tinggi, kulit singkong berpotensi digunakan sebagai alternatif bahanpakan sumber energi ternak ruminansia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengukur nilaikecernaan ransum (kecernaan bahan kering dan organik) secara in vitro denganmengganti dedak dan onggok dari tepung kulit singkong. Rancangan percobaan yangdigunakan yaitu rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 perlakuan (ransum (60%hijuan dan 40% konsentrat) yang menggunakan tepung kulit singkong 0, 10, 20, dan30% bahan kering (BK) sebagai substitusi dedak dan onggok) dengan 4 kelompoksebagai ulangan. Data yang didapatkan dianalisa statistik menggunakan Analysis ofVariance (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut DMRT pada data yang berbeda nyata anatarperlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi penggunaan tepungkulit singkong sebagai substitusi dedak dan onggok pada ransum sangat nyatameningkatkan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik ransum. Kesimpulannyayaitu penggunaan tepung kulit singkong sebanyak 30% sebagai substitusi dedak danonggok pada ransum memiliki nilai kecernaan bahan pakan terbaik. Nilai keernaanbahan keringnya sebesar 72,20% dan kecernaan bahan organiknya sebesar 71,39%.Penggunaan tepung kulit singkong sebagai bahan pakan ternak yang semakin banyakakan dapat mengurangi limbah kulit singkong dan pencemaran lingkunganABSTRACTRice bran and onggok are by-products of agriculture and agroindustry whichare widely used in ruminant concentrates formulation as feed ingredients for energysources. Another agricultural by-product is cassava peel. Based on its abundantavailability and high content of BETN and TDN, cassava peel has the potential to beused as an alternative energy source for ruminant. The purpose of this study was tomeasure the ration digestibility (dry matter and organic matter digestibility) in vitro with substitution of rice bran and onggok from cassava peel powder. Randomized blockdesign with four treatments were used in this research. Treatments were cassava peelpowder substitution at 0, 10, 20, and 30% DM and four groups as replications. Datawere analyzed using ANOVA and the differences among the means of the treatmentswere examined using DMRT. The results showed that the higher of cassava peelpowder as a substitute for rice bran and onggok on ration, dry matter and organicdigestibility on ration was significantly increased. In conclusion, is that the use ofcassava peel powder as much as 30% as a substitute for bran and onggok in the ration has the best digestibility value of feed ingredients. The dry matter digestibility value was 72.20% and the organic matter digestibility was 71.39%. Abstract

ABSTRAKAscaridia galli merupakan nematoda parasitik yang sering ditemukan padaunggas termasuk ayam .Parasit tersebut menyebabkan kerugian berupa penurunanberat badan, hambatan pertumbuhan, penurunan produksi telur serta penurunankualitas telur. Hal tersebut karena cacing selain menyerap zat-zat makanan jugamenyebabkan kerusakan sel-sel epitel villi serta berkurangnya luas permukaan villiusus yang berperan dalam proses pencernaan dan penyerapan makanan. Terjadinyaresistensi obat cacing sintesis menyebabkan penelitian anthelmintik herbal menjadilangkah yang strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhpemberian ekstrak bawang putih (Allium Sativum L) terhadap mortalitas cacing A. gallisecara In Vitro. cacing Ascaridia galli didapatkan dari usus halus ayam di RumahPemotongan Ayam (RPA) “Pak Min” yang berada di Desa Suko, KecamatanDukun, Kabupaten Magelang. Pengujian cacing Ascaridia galli dilakukan pada 27sampel cacing terpilih yang dikelompokkan menjadi 3 perlakuan yaitu Perlakuan IKontrol negatif dengan aquades, Perlakuan II Kontrol positif dengan Piperazin Citrate-Phenothiazine dan Perlakuan III Pemberian ekstrak bawang putih (Allium sativum L.). Mortalitas A. galli dicatat setiap 15 menit sampai mortalitas cacing adalah 100%.Berdasarkan uji in vitro didapatkan hasil dengan ekstrak bawang putih (Alliumsativum L.) tingkat mortalitas cacing Ascaridia galli memiliki rata - rata waktukematian 23,89 menit/ekor. sedangkan aquades 47,77 menit/ekor, dan PiperazinCitrate-Phenothiazine 24,44 menit/ekor. Pemberian ekstrak bawang putihberpengaruh terhadap mortalitas cacing A. galli dan mempunyai potensi sebagaianthelmintik.ABSTRACTAscaridia galli is a parasitic nematode that is often found in poultry includingchickens. The parasite causes losses in the form of weight loss, growth inhibition,decreased egg production and decreased egg quality. This is because the worms inaddition to absorbing food substances also cause damage to the epithelial cells of thevilli and reduce the surface area of the intestinal villi which play a role in the processof digestion and absorption of food. The occurrence of synthetic anthelminticresistance has made herbal anthelmintic research a strategic step. This study aims todetermine the effect of garlic extract (Allium Sativum L) on mortality of A. galli wormsin vitro. Ascaridia galli worms were obtained from the small intestine of chickens at the“Pak Min” Chicken Slaughterhouse (RPA) located in Suko Village, Dukun District,Magelang Regency. Ascaridia galli worm testing was carried out on 27 samples ofselected worms which were grouped into 3 treatments, Treatment I Negative controlwith aquadestilata, Treatment II positive control with Piperazine Citrate-Phenothiazineand Treatment III with garlic extract (Allium sativum L.). A. galli mortality was recordedevery 15 minutes until worm mortality was 100%. Based on the in vitro test, the resultsobtained with garlic extract (Allium sativum L.) that the mortality rate of Ascaridia galliworms has an average time of death of 23.89 minutes/head. while aquadest 47.77minutes/head, and Piperazine Citrate-Phenothiazine 24.44 minutes/head. Abstract

ABSTRACTHygiene is an effort conducted to obtain health. Hygiene is preventive actionthat focus on the object or activity of a human, whereas sanitization is defined as adisease preventive action that focuses on the environment around the object. Hygieneand sanitization are related to each other and cannot be separated to protect, maintainand increase the level of human health. The application of hygiene and sanitization Isneeded to maintain the quality of meat. The objective of this research is to determinethe application of hygiene and sanitization aspects to qurban handling activity in theManokwari District of West Papua. The method used in this research was the surveymethod which was conducted at 30 mosques in Manokwari District. The collected datawere then analyzed using a quantitative descriptive statistical method. The resultshowed that 66.67% of mosques that handled qurban have not applied hygiene andsanitization aspects to handling qurban whereas 33.33% of mosques have applied thehygiene and sanitization aspect. Based on the result can be concluded that mostmosques in Manokwari District have not applied hygiene and sanitization to the animalqurban handling process.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Tampir Wetan Kecamatan CandimulyoKabupaten Magelang, tanggal 10 Maret sampai 10 Mei 2021 dengan tujuanmengetahui mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan peternak sebelum dan sesudahpenyuluhan dengan implementasi problem solving mengetahui efektivitas penyuluhandengan implementasi problem solving sebagai teknik penyuluhan tentang manajemeninseminasi buatan (IB), Mengetahui faktor-faktor (umur, tingkat pendidikan, danpengalaman beternak) yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan peternak. Sampelyang digunakan yaitu 45 responden dengan metode purposive random sampling.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linierberganda. Variabel dalam kajian ini teridiri dari variabel independent yaitu umur,tingkat pendidikan dan pengalaman beternak serta variabel dependen yaitupeningkatan pengetahuan peternak. Hasil dari analisis deskriptit yaitu tingkatpengetahuan peternak sebelum penyuluhan sebesar 1854 dalam kategori kurang tahudan sesudah penyuluhan sebesar 3658 dalam kategori sangat tahu, efektivitaspenyuluhan sebesar 91,45% dalam kategori sangat efektif. Hasil regresi linierberganda menunjukan bahwa umur, tingkat pendidikan dan pengalaman beternaksecara simultan atau bersama-sama berpengaruh sangat signifikan (P<0,01)terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan peternak. Secara parsial atau individu umurberpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) dan tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh sangatsignifikan (P<0,01) terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan peternak, sedangkanpengalaman beternak tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatanpengetahuan peternak. ABSTRACTThe Research was carried out in Tampir Wetan Village, Candimulyo District,Magelang Regency, from March 10 to May 10 2021 with the aim of knowing the levelof knowledge of breeders before and after counseling by implementing problemsolving to determine the effectiveness of counseling by implementing problem solvingas an extension technique. about the management of artificial insemination (AI),Knowing the factors (age, education level, and experience of raising livestock) thataffect the level of knowledge of breeders. The sample used is 45 respondents withpurposive random sampling method. The data analysis used is descriptive analysisand multiple linear regression analysis. The variables in this study consist of theindependent variables, namely age, level of education and experience in raisinglivestock and the dependent variable, namely increasing knowledge of breeders. Theresults of the descriptive analysis are the level of knowledge of farmers beforecounseling is 1854 in the category of not knowing and after counseling is 3658 in thecategory of very knowing, extension effectiveness of 91.45% in the very effectivecategory. The results of multiple linear regression showed that age, education leveland experience of raising livestock simultaneously or together had a very significanteffect (P < 0.01) on increasing breeders knowledge. Abstract

ABSTRAKBertambahnya jumlah penduduk di Indonesia menyebabkan kebutuhanpangan akan protein hewani meningkat. Salah satu penyumbang protein hewaniadalah daging ayam kampung super. Karakteristik dari ayam kampung super (joper)adalah dapat diproduksi dalam jumlah banyak dengan bobot seragam, lajupertumbuhan lebih cepat daripada ayam kampung, memiliki tingkat kematian yangrendah, mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkunan serta memiliki cita rasa yang tidakberbeda dengan ayam kampung. Dalam usaha peternakan ayam biaya pakanberpengaruh sebesar 70% sehingga diperlukannya pakan alternatif untuk menunjangefisiensi usaha. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi usaha adalahpemanfaatan murbei sebagai pakan lokal unggas seacara ekonomis yang lebihmurah. Namun demikian, tingginya kandungan serat kasar dan antinutrisi dapatmenggangu kecukupan energi unggas dengan cara menghalangi penyerapan nutriendari pakan dalam saluran pencernaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiapakah penambahan fermentasi daun murbei ke dalam ransum pakan akanmempengaruhi bobot akhir pada ayam kampung super. Penelitian ini dikelompokkanmenjadi 4 perlakuan yaitu Perlakuan I (PO), pemberian pakan ransum tanpatambahan tepung daun murbei, perlakuan II (P1) pemberian pakan ransum ditambahtepung daun murbei terfermentasi 2% , perlakuan III (P2) pemberian pakan ransumditambah tepung daun murbei terfermentasi 4% dan Perlakuan IV(P3) pemberianpakan ransum ditambah tepung daun murbei terfermentasi 6%. DOC datangdilakukan penimbangan berat badan DOC dengan tujuan mengetahui berat awal ratarata. Berat badan akhir diperoleh dari penimbangan bobot badan ayam (g) umur 60 hari sebelum dipotong. Hasil menunjukkan bobot badan akhir ayam kampung superyang diberi pakan dengan penambahan tepung daun murbei terfermentasi memilikirata-rata bobot badan akhir sebesar 677,4-721,8 g, dengan demikian penambahantepung daun murbei terfermentasi dalam ransum pakan tidak berpengaruh nyata(P>0,05) terhadap bobot akhir ayam kampung super. ABSTRACTThe increasing population in Indonesia causes the need for food for animalprotein to increase. One of the contributors to animal protein is chicken. Thecharacteristics of chicken (joper) are that it can be produced in large quantities withuniform weight, faster growth rate than native chicken, has a low mortality rate, is easy to adapt to the environment and has a taste that is not different from native chicken. In the chicken farming business, the cost of feed has an effect of 70% so thatalternative feeds are needed to support business efficiency. One of the efforts toimprove business efficiency is the use of mulberry as a local poultry feed which ischeaper economically. However, the high content of crude fiber and antinutrients caninterfere with the energy adequacy of poultry by blocking the absorption of nutrientsfrom feed in the digestive tract. This study aims to determine whether the addition offermented mulberry leaves to the feed ration will affect the final weight of the supernative chicken. This study was grouped into 4 treatments, namely Treatment I (PO),ration feeding without additional mulberry leaf meal, treatment II (P1) feeding ration +2% fermented mulberry leaf flour, treatment III (P2) feeding ration + mulberry leaf meal fermented 4% and Treatment IV(P3) feeding ration + fermented mulberry leaf flour 6%. DOC came and weighed DOC with the aim of knowing the average initial weight. Final body weight was obtained from weighing 60 days old chicken body weight (g) before slaughter. The results showed that the final body weight of super free-range chicken fed with the addition of fermented mulberry leaf flour had an average final body weight of 677.4-721.8 g, thus the addition of fermented mulberry leaf flour in the feed ration had no significant effect (P > 0.05) to the final weight of chickens.Keywords: chicken, body weight, mulberry leaves, fermentation, feed ration
