Abstract

The ability to think mathematically is an ability that every student and teacher of mathematics needs to be able to understand mathematics better. Various studies have been conducted to apply appropriate approaches and learning methods to develop this mathematical thinking ability. This paper is a theoretical study, which will briefly describe one alternative learning method, which is expected to develop this ability. The alternative method that will be described is the Modified Moore method, which provides opportunities for students to be actively involved in learning, with little direction or guidance from the teacher.

Abstract

Binary logistic regression is a statistical method that analyzes the relationship between response variables that have two or more categories with explanatory variables with a dichotomous scale (2 categories). The Binary logistic regression model can be used to determine the factors that most influence the length of the study period. The factors that influence the length of the study period in this study are academic ability, motivation, environment, lecturers, physical condition, mental, interest, talent, learning method, intelligence (IQ), and study time. The sample in this study used the sample clustering method with a total of 54 respondents and came from lecturers, employees, and students at the Panca Budi Development University. The method used is a survey using a questionnaire. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, the variable with the category of intelligence (IQ) has a partial influence on the dependent variable for the length of the study period. Simultaneously the independent variable affects the dependent variable by 41.5% and the rest is influenced by other factors. The accuracy of calcification in predicting the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable was 79.6%.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada France Bakery Binjai yaitu jumlah masing-masing roti isi yang diproduksi bukan merupakan jumlah yang sesuai untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang maksimum berdasarkan keterbatasan bahan baku yang tersedia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan jumlah produksi untuk setiap jenis roti isi, sehingga dapat memaksimalkan keuntungan yang diperoleh dari penjualan roti isi. Permasalahan tersebut diselesaikan dengan menerapkan model integer linear programming menggunakan metode branch and bound. Hasil dari perhitungan menggunakan metode ini diperoleh jumlah produksi roti isi yang optimal adalah 732 kemasan roti rasa coklat, 470 kemasan roti rasa kacang hijau, 470 kemasan roti rasa kacang merah, 466 kemasan roti rasa tiramisu, dan 102 kemasan roti rasa melon coklat dengan keuntungan yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar Rp.7.922.000. Dengan menggunakan metode branch and bound keuntungan naik 10,03% atau sebesar Rp.722.000 dari keuntungan data awal selama satu bulan.

Abstract

Almost all students certainly expect to get graduation and satisfactory results when Final Semester Examination results are announced. It is because Final Semester Examination is a measurement in order to map and see the ability of students after participating in the learning process within a certain period of time, by conducting tests through various tests. Apart from depending on each individual student, there are also several factors that affect graduation and obtaining good grades at Final Semester Examination, namely the number of study hours in a day and the acquisition of Mid Semester Examination score. Thus this study aims to find out how the influence of the number of study hours in a day and the results of the midterm exam has on the graduation of the final semester exam in pharmacy mathematics. The data analysis method used is the Binary Logistic Regression method. From the research, results it is known that the independent variables study hours in a day and the acquisition of Mid Semester Examination scores have a significant effect on graduation, which is equal to 59.5%.. In addition, it is also known that the more hours of study in a day and the higher the Mid Semester Examination score, the higher the chance of passing Final Semester Examination with satisfactory grades.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding of Elementary School Teacher Education Students as prospective teachers regarding the use of Dakota visual aids in learning mathematics. This research was conducted in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, University of Quality, Berastagi, with a population and sample of 28 students in Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The type of research used is classroom action research. Based on the research conducted, PGSD students have various levels of understanding about the use of the Dakota visual aid in teaching the smallest common multiple and the largest common factor. The difference in the level of understanding is caused by differences in students' cognitive abilities. The evaluation results show that the percentage of students' understanding of the five material components assessed is as follows: regarding the teaching of multiples material, 53.57% of students have an understanding in the high category and 46.43% in the medium category. For teaching factors there are 50% of students with understanding in the high category and the other 50% are in the medium category. For fellowship teaching there are 57.14% of students with understanding in the high category. 28.57% of students are in the medium category and 14.29% of students with low understanding. For KPK teaching, there were 89.29% of students with an understanding in the high category and another 10.71% in the medium category. For FPB teaching, there are 71.43% of students with an understanding in the high category, 17.86% of students with moderate understanding, and another 10.71% with a low category.

Abstract

In the process of learning mathematics, students are not only required to understand concepts, but more than that. One of the important skills mastered by students is mathematical communication skills. The purpose of this research is to see the effectiveness of problem-based learning in improving students' communication skills. This study aims to provide an overview of the quality of the research variables studied. The variables in this study consisted of two, namely the application of problem-based learning and the mathematical communication skills of students of SMP PAB 7 Manunggal. As for the subject of this study is the application of problem-based learning models and the object of this study is students' mathematical communication skills. The sample in this study were 28 grade VII students of SMP PAB 7 Manunggal. The instruments used to collect research data were questionnaires to observe the implementation of the learning process and test sheets for mathematical communication skills that had been tested for their validation and reliability levels. The data collected in this study were then analyzed to see the effectiveness of the implementation of the learning process and students' mathematical communication skills. Problem-based learning implemented at SMP PAB 7 Manunggal can be said to have been effective in terms of the implementation of the learning process with an average score of observations of 3.589 and student learning completeness reaching 75%. Because the learning process implemented has been said to be effective, data on students' mathematical communication abilities can be analyzed to see the improvement. Based on the descriptive comparison of the test result data, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in students' mathematical communication abilities, in terms of pre-test and post-test scores.

Abstract

Pemecahan masalah merupakan salah satu tujuan pendidikan matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif, dan jumlah sampelnya adalah 28 siswa, 6 orang diantaranya dari Kelas VIIIB dan 2 siswa dari masing-masing kategori pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa kelas VIIIB MTs Swasta Nur Ibrahimy dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi SPLDV berdasarkan gaya belajar yaitu visual, auditorial dan kinestik. Alat pengambilan data menggunakan angket gaya belajar dan tes pemecahan masalah bentuk soal cerita materi SPLDV. Studi ini menemukan 9 siswa visual, 10 siswa auditorial dan 7 siswa kinestik di antara 28 siswa. Pemecahan masalah untuk pembelajar visual terdeteksi siswa mampu menyelesaikan semua soal. Siswa gaya belajar auditorial terdeteksi kesalahan yang dilakukan adalah mencoba dan evaluasi. Siswa gaya kinestik terdeteksi kesalahan yang dilakukan adalah mengenali masalah, mendefenisikan masalah, mencoba dan evaluasi.

Abstract

Permasalahan penugasan membahas masalah pengalokasian sejumlah sumber ke sejumlah tujuan dengan tujuan memaksimalkan produksi atau keuntungan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah bagaimana pendapatan dari penjualan buku dapat optimal dengan menggunakan metode Hungarian. Pengambilan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini yaitu Data Sekunder dalam 1 Bulan (20 hari kerja mulai hari senin – jumat pada tanggal 14 Februari 2022 sampai dengan 11 Maret 2022). Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Tiga Serangkai Medan tepatnya di Jl. Kesatria No 2A, Sari Rejo, Kecamatan Medan Sunggal, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara.. Adapun Metode Hungarian diawali dengan mengurangi nilai pada baris dan kolom. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa hasil produksi optimal menggunakan metode Hungarian yaitu 1055 buku dengan keuntungan optimal yang diperoleh Perusahaan selama 1 (satu) Bulan adalah Rp 22.534.350.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' high-order thinking skills through Project Based Learning in Class VIII at Mts Baitul Makmur, Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu. There were two cycles in this research. Each cycle applies a project-based learning model and consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting.  The research subjects were 26 students of class VIII B at MTs Baitul Makmur Rejang Lebong. Data were collected through observation, field notes, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the implementation of project-based learning could improve students' high-level thinking skills. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of higher-order thinking skills from pre-cycle (cycle 1 pre-test) of 48% (poor) to 73% (enough) in cycle 1. Then in cycle 2, it increased to 82% (good). Furthermore, there was an increase in student learning outcomes through the Project Based Learning model in Class VIII, Mts Baitul Makmur Rejang Lebong. In the pre-cycle, the average score of students' mathematics tests was 53.54, with classical completeness of 4%. In cycle 1, the average score increased to 76.62, with a classical pass of 73.08%. It increased in cycle 2, the average score being 80.12 with a classical pass of 85%.

Abstract

Guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran yang dan merupakan faktor kunci untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Namun berdasarkan raport mutu pendidikan Kabupaten Kudus pada tahun 2018 dan beberapa studi menunjukkan kinerja guru masih rendah oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru sekolah dasar melalui pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan menerapkan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada sekolah binaan di Kecamatan Mejobo, Kabupaten Kudus pada tahun 2022. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru SD yang berada di kecamatan Mejobo berjumlah 18 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dengan mengamati indikator-indikator kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru sekolah dasar menunjukan peningkatan dari siklus 1 hingga siklus 2. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Mejobo, Kabupaten Kudus.
