Abstract

Learning mathematics is intended so that students are able to use reasoning in identifying, analyzing and concluding a pattern and character of a mathematical object. In addition, by manipulating mathematics students will be able to generalize a concept, compile evidence or explain mathematical ideas and statements. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in reasoning ability that occurs after implementing a realistic mathematics learning model. This study refers to a quasi-experimental research procedure with a pretest-posttest approach. The population used in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Pematangsiantar with the sample being all students of class VIIIB, totaling 21 people. The instrument used in this study was a learning achievement test in the form of multiple choice objective tests with four options totaling 24 questions. The results showed that during the pre-test the average score of students was at 64.45 with a standard deviation of 4.575 and experienced an increase during the post-test with an average of 80.25 and a standard deviation of 6.25. In addition, when viewed from the completeness of learning there is also an increase, namely from 57.14 to 80.95.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of students' self-efficacy on the mathematical creative thinking abilities of students at Harvard High School. The subjects in this study were students of class X-IPA 1 which consisted of 20 students. This research is a true experiment research, with a one group pretest-posttest research design. Data collection was carried out through an instrument test for mathematical creative thinking ability and a non-test instrument test in the form of a self-efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the Independent Sample t test using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that: There is an effect of self-efficacy on the ability to think creatively at Harvard High School

Abstract

One of the viruses that cause infectious diseases is the corona virus. Corona viruses can cause more serious diseases such as the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Corona Virus which was epidemic in 2003, the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-Corona Virus outbreak in 2012 and the 2019 Coronavirus Disease which was epidemic at the end of 2019. The ordinary linear differential equation is an equation differential in which all derivatives appear in linear form and no coefficients depend on the dependent variable. The coefficient can be a function of the independent variable, in which case the differential equation is a linear differential equation with changing coefficients. Based on the relatively large number of cells that are susceptible to infection (S), over time it will decrease and towards a zero value against high immunity, and people under surveillance and patients in care (E) with time will decrease towards high immunity. Meanwhile, the number of infected cells (I) at one time will reach a highest point, which indicates the maximum number of infected cells and gradually decreases with time towards a high increase in immunity. Because fewer S, E, and I are infected, the amount of virus in the body (R) also decreases.

Abstract

Educational demands on a person's ability in the field of mathematics are not enough just to have the ability to count, but also to have the ability to think logically, systematically and critically in an effort to develop mathematical problem solving abilities. To be able to find a solution to a problem, it is very important for students to be able to dig up information from various sources and various forms of information and interpret it using logical, systematic, and critical mathematical thinking skills, which are then known as mathematical literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of mathematical literacy in management study program students at the Panca Budi Development University in Medan. This research is part of a type of qualitative research with the approach used in this study a descriptive approach with a sample of 30 students who were selected randomly. The instrument used is a test of mathematical literacy skills in basic mathematics courses. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis of the data collected. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the mathematical literacy skills of the management study program students at the Panca Budi Brada Development University are in the sufficient category with the dominant mathematical literacy ability being at a moderate level with a percentage of 43.34%.

Abstract

Suppose a finite simple graph is represented in the incidence matrix B. Each row in matrix B is a sequence of binary numbers with finite length. The Hamming distance of two vertices and of a simple graph G is defined as the number of positions of different digits. The Hamming index of a simple graph is the sum of the Hamming distances for all the different points in the graph. Suppose that each and is a simple graph whose degree is almost uniform. Using the Hamming Index, we obtain a formula for the Hamming Index on a graph in the form of corona multiplication and cartesian multiplication with each of the two graphs being of almost uniform degree.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Model PQ4R (Preview, Question, Read, Reflection, Recite, Review) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Pada Materi Aritmatika Sosial. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitan yang digunakan Quasi Experimental   dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan berbentuk Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest  Control Group Design. Populasi penelitan adalah seluruh kelas VII Mts Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang dengan jumlah total siswa 55 orang. Sampel penelitan diambil menggunakan teknik adalah  Sampling Jenuh. kelas VIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIB sebagai kelas control. Instrumen tes berupa tes essay yang telah diujicobakan, reliabilitas sebesar 0,88 dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa; 1) Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PQ4R dan model pembelajaran langsung sebesar  0,45 dan 0,17 degan perbedaan peingkatan   sebesar 6,60  2) Aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif setelah diterapkannya model PQ4R pada materi aritmatika sosialdi kelas VII MTs Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang sebesar 67% tergolong tinggi. 3) Minat belajar siswa tergolong tinggi setelah diterapkannya model PQ4R pada materi aritmatika sosial kelas VII MTs Ash-Shomadiyah Singkawang dengan kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' mathematical communication skills after being taught using the Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) learning model in the Mathematics Education study program, HKBP Nomensen University Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The population in this study were all students of Mathematics Education, with a sample consisting of 30 people, namely students who attended lectures evaluating learning outcomes in mathematics. The instrument used is a test item of mathematical communication ability. The results of this study were then tested by analysis of variance to answer the proposed research objectives. The data obtained from the research results show that the data is normally distributed because the results of the calculations when testing the requirements using SPSS, the sig. 0.05 is obtained. The results of the data analysis also show that the analysis model designed is valid so that it can prove that the increase in communication skills is influenced by the learning model. From the results of calculating Multiple Comparisons with the Scheffe test, it can be concluded that learning with the ATI model affects ability improvement at all ability levels, whereas the conventional model only affects high levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menghasilkan produk e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf  yang bersifat valid, praktis, efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X PMIA 4 SMA Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 36 siswa.  Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan dalam kategori valid dengan rata-rata penilaian ahli sebesar 3,79; (2) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori praktis ditinjau dari persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 98,4%, rata-rata penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran 3,71 serta persentase angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul sebesar 86,4%; (3) e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori efektif ditinjau dari persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 83,33%. Berdasarkan  analisis hasil penelitian diperoleh skor nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah digunakannya e-modul trigonometri berbasis problem based learning berbantuan aplikasi flip pdf  dengan kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran ADI dengan reward and punishment dengan peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran ekspositori; mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis peserta didik yang memiliki kecerdasan verbal-linguistik, kecerdasan logistik-matematis dan kecerdasan interpersonal: dan mengetahui apakah terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran ADI dengan reward and punishment dengan kecerdasan majemuk terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis . Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen .Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTs PSM Buay Bahuga. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran ekspositori dan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran ADI dengan reward and punishment. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling . Data diperoleh melalui pemberian angket kecerdasan majemuk dan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (ANOVA) dua jalur sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ADI dengan reward dan punishmentkemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis: tidak terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan verbal-linguistik, kecerdasan logistik-matematis dan kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis: dan tidak terdapat interaksi model pembelajaran ADI dengan reward and punishment dengan kecerdasan majemuk terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis .

Abstract

This research was conducted using data obtained from UD Kreasi Lutvi. Meanwhile, based on the results of production optimization processing using Table Simplex and QM For Windows V3, production levels show different levels of production, namely 80,000 large packages, 5,000 medium packages and 400 small packages. When UD Kreasi Lutvi produces according to optimal conditions, the profit that can be obtained under optimal conditions is Rp. 386,600,000, while the profit in factual conditions is Rp. 361,268,000, so the increase in profits is Rp. 25,332,000. This shows that the benefits in factual conditions and optimal conditions are much different, but to increase profits, UD Kreasi Lutvi must produce according to optimal conditions.
