Abstract

Cigarettes are processed tobacco products, including cigars or other forms. Results of the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) in 2021 shows that Indonesia has the highest number of male smokers in the world and the third largest number of smokers in the world after India and China. During 2012-2022 Indonesian government will increase the Tobacco Products Duty almost every year to reduce the growth rate of smokers as well as provide income to the state treasury. However, the suppress still not optimal enough as a result of estimated state spending, especially for health care due to smoking, which exceeds state income from cigarettes and tobacco. This paper examines ad blocking and restrictions on purchasing cigarettes as a solution to reducing smoking prevalence in Indonesia. This paper applies descriptive qualitative methods and netnography methods that the researchers carried out by means of observations on YouTube social media as well as field observations in the city of Semarang, as well as online interviews using the WhatsApp application media with cigarette sellers in the city of Semarang as informants. This paper shows that cigarette advertising is very influential in increasing the number of smokers, especially among child smokers. The implementation of the smoking ban which has been regulated in Government Regulation Number 109/2012 concerning Safeguarding Substances Containing Addictive Tobacco Products for Health is also considered less than optimal. The implications of this finding both demand and encourage the government to be able to immediately issue regulations in order to block advertisements and at the same time control and limit the sale of cigarettes to children and/or youth in a systematic way, for example by utilizing the PeduliLindungi application which is considered quite successful in controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. in the past 2020-2021.

Abstract

Technological progress refers to developments and innovations in the field of technology that result in significant changes in the way we live, work and interact. Technology continues to develop rapidly over time, and this affects various aspects of human life. Lifestyle, brand image, and product quality can all have an impact on a consumer's decision to buy an iPhone. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how lifestyle, brand image, and product quality influence Kota Sukabumi City residents' iPhone purchase decisions. A total of 150 respondents, the purposive sampling method, interview questionnaires, and structural equation modeling were all used in this study to collect data. In addition, the validity test, the reliability test, the correlation coefficient, the determination coefficient, the simple and multiple regression tests, the significance of the t-test, and the F test are utilized in this study. According to the findings of this study, these three variables; Lifestyle, brand image, and high-quality products all have a positive and significant impact on the iPhone brand's sales in Sukabumi City. In terms of lifestyle, this study suggests that a company should be aware of current trends and innovate its products to meet the needs of customers and maintain a positive brand image. Abstract

The continuation of the China-Indonesia cooperation that has been forged through the ACFT, as explained earlier, has an influence on friendship in the international arena as well as economic improvement. can be seen in Indonesia's export figures to China, which continue to increase from year to year. The turmoil that has been caused by the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (Covid-19) has weakened all countries internationally and also undermined all sectors, not just health, which was the first trigger for the virus, but also the economic sector, which has implications for the crises of countries in the world. Through the concept of national interest, in which the state must prioritize its interests above all, especially in the four aspects of this concept, the cooperation between the governments of China and Indonesia in the trade and investment sector has produced beneficial results for improving economic stability and the welfare of their respective countries.

Abstract

One part of Intellectual Property Rights that must be regulated and protected is Brand. The need for legal protection for brands is growing rapidly. One of the brands that needs to be protected is the Sokka Kudus roof tile brand. Brand protection is actually regulated in Law Number 15 of 2001 concerning Trademarks, but in reality many Sokka roof tile brands have not been registered with the General Department of Intellectual Property so they are not protected by law. In this research, using an empirical legal approach and analytical descriptive research specifications, the author tries to explain the use of collective brands as an alternative to collective brand protection which aims to reduce the level of industrial competition. The Regional Government of Kudus Regency plays a role in ensuring that the Sokka brand roof tile industry receives legal protection in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 15 of 2001 concerning Brands. The government, in this case the Ministry of Industry and Trade, supports the use of a collective brand to protect the Sokka tile roof brand.

Abstract

The realization of village financial management accountability is related to the existence of internal control, transparency and implementation of the Application Siskeudes. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of internal control, transparency and the application of the Village Financial System Application (Siskeudes) on village financial accountability. The research to be carried out is a descriptive research type and uses a quantitative approach that describes the behavior of respondents regarding the influence of the Internal Control System, Transparency, and Application SISKEUDES on Village Financial Accountability in Badung Regency, Bali. The technique used in sampling in this study is a convenience sampling technique. The results showed that internal control, transparency and application Siskeudes had a positive effect on village financial accountability. The better the internal control, transparency and implementation Siskeudes, the higher the accountability of village finances. The importance of research results as an evaluation material for the village apparatus of Badung Regency in particular and the community regarding how the management is accountable so that it can create prosperity for the public interest.

Abstract

Jepara Ferry Port is located in Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. The Jepara Ferry Port has three vessels in operation, namely KMP.Siginjai, KMC.Express Bahari 1C and KMC.Express Bahari 3F. There are several services that do not comply with regulations and are carried out by ship operators, even though the services on board have been regulated by the government to provide a sense of security and comfort during the crossing. This research aims to determine the level of suitability of ferry transportation services at KMP. Siginjai on the current conditions regarding Minimum Service Standards and knowing the service attributes that need to be improved on a priority scale. The method used is analysis of the level of suitability of SPM for ferry transportation and IPA to determine service attributes that need to be improved on a priority scale. Based on the results of the analysis and calculations, it was found that KMP.Siginjai had a suitability level for passenger services, namely 69.35%, KMP.Siginjai vehicle loading services, namely 75%, ship operation services, namely 100% and the results obtained were that service attributes needed to be improved on a priority scale for aspects Passenger services include first aid kits which are not yet available, security officers, reclining seats and sofas, separate toilets and passenger baggage facilities. In vehicle loading services, the attributes on the priority scale are evacuation routes, distance between vehicles and the distance between the ship wall and the vehicle and a light intensity of 200 – 300 Lux. The strategy offered to increase comfort and satisfaction is to provide facilities that are located on a priority scale.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how hedonic shopping incentive affects implicit purchasing behavior and how pay letters and shopping lifestyles mediate that effect. This study was conducted on customers of e-commerce users in Indonesia who also used paylater payment methods for their online shopping transactions. The study involved 213 customers as samples. Research data is collected using a questionnaire and the results are analyzed using PLS software. This research is quantitative. The findings showed that hedonic shopping motivation had a significant positive impact on impulsive buying and shopping lifestyles as well as shopping lifestyle had significant positive influence on impulse baying. The mediation test in this initiation showed that shopping lifestyle mediates the influence of hedonic shopping motivation on impulsive buying. However, on the other hand, the role of moderators paylater on the influence of hedonic shopping motivation against impulsive buying in reversal or paylatter does not play a role in moderating the influences of hedonical shopping motivations against impulsively buying.

Abstract

Cases of failed credentialing processes, as seen in the case of fake doctors, demonstrate the need to evaluate and improve the credentialing system in hospitals. In this context, this research will examine the role and implementation of credentials in measuring and ensuring the competency of medical staff in hospitals in Indonesia. This research aims to provide a better understanding of the effectiveness and challenges in implementing credentialing in Indonesian hospitals. In addition, it is hoped that the results of this research can provide recommendations for improving and strengthening the credentialing system to improve the quality of medical services and patient safety in hospitals.

Abstract

One of the problem in thalassemia children is poor quality of life. It is assessed through 4 functions, namely physical, emotional, social, and school functions. Many factors affect the quality of life in thalassemia patients. This study is aimed to know the relationship between educational level and knowledge of parents, with the quality of life in thalassemia children. A cross-sectional study with 54 subjects with thalassemia and 54 pairs of parents. Subjects who met the inclusion criteria and did not meet the exclusion criteria were taken by the consecutive sampling method. Data collection technique was done by conducting interviews based on characteristic data questionnaires, parental knowledge questionnaires, and quality of life questionnaires using PedsQL 4.0 Core Scales. We analised the data by Spearman correlation test and Pearson correlation test. Maternal’s educational level has a significant correlation to the quality of life in children with thalassemia with moderate correlation strength on spearman test (r = 0,410; p = 0,002). Father’s educational level has a significant correlation to the quality of life in the children with thalassemia with a weak correlation strength (r = 0.359; p = 0.008) on the spearman test. Maternal’s level of knowledge have significant correlation to the quality of life in children with thalassemia with medium correlation strength (r = 0,404; p = 0,002) on spearman test. Father’s level of knowledge have significant correlation to quality of life in children with thalassemia with weak correlation strength (r = 0,335; p = 0,013) on the spearman test. Multivariate test found that most factors affecting the quality of life of children with thalassemia is the level of knowledge of mothers with p = 0.014 and OR = 1.179. There is a significant correlation between the level of education and knowledge of parents on the quality of life of major thalassemia children.

Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta faces challenges in expanding its customer base and increasing the loyalty of existing customers. Therefore, Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta decided to use a digital marketing strategy to reach more customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers. to provide an understanding of the Livin' by Mandiri digital marketing strategy and how this strategy can help Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta increase the number of customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers. The results of this research provide information about various ways to market products or brands through digital information technology and provide solutions to overcome the obstacles faced by Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta in the process of implementing digital marketing. The research method used in this PDF is a qualitative research method. The data collection technique used in this research is interviews with several parties, namely Bank Mandiri Yogyakarta employees who have an understanding of digital marketing, namely customer service officers (CSO) and customer service representatives (CSR), as well as documentation in the form of archives obtained through literature and websites. related to Bank Mandiri's marketing strategy. In this research, triangulation was carried out by combining primary data and secondary data obtained through interviews and literature study. The implication of this research is that the banking industry in Indonesia can utilize the Livin' by Mandiri digital marketing strategy as an example to develop a more effective and efficient marketing strategy. Apart from that, this research can also help the banking industry in Indonesia to understand more deeply the importance of using digital information technology in marketing products or brands.
