Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing, eWOM, brand awareness, and brand image on purchase intention among @erigostore consumers. Data were collected through a survey with 180 respondents from an online questionnaire. Respondents of this study were Erigo consumers who had purchased within the last 6 months, those consumers also had social media and followed the @erigostore social media account, and consumers who had read or commented on Erigo products. This study used a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using the AMOS application to analyze the data. The results of this study indicate that social media marketing has a positive and significant influence on brand awareness, brand image, and purchase intention, which confirms the strategic role of social media in shaping consumer perceptions and behavior. Conversely, eWOM was found to have a negative and significant effect on brand image and purchase intention, and had no significant effect on brand awareness, which indicates that the spread of negative information online can damage brand image and reduce purchase intention even though the level of brand awareness remains high. In addition, brand awareness has a positive but insignificant influence on purchase intention, while brand image is proven to have a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Society 5.0 era has created new challenges in data security, particularly in the military environment. This study aims to analyze human resource (HR) development strategies at Muljono Air Base in responding to cybersecurity threats. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. The results indicate that strengthening digital literacy, cybersecurity training, and collaboration with external institutions are essential pillars in building military data resilience. The main obstacles faced include budget limitations, infrastructure limitations, and personnel digital skill gaps. Therefore, HR development strategies need to be systematically designed through a technology-based training roadmap and policies that adapt to the dynamics of digital threats. The findings of this study provide practical contributions to the formulation of military HR development policies that are more responsive to technological challenges. Furthermore, the proposed strategy can serve as an implementation model for other military bases in enhancing national digital defense readiness.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of price discounts and sales promotions on the sales volume of pharmaceutical products at PT. MBF Surabaya, a distributor operating in a competitive market environment. The research was motivated by fluctuating sales performance and the company’s reliance on discount schemes and promotional activities as key marketing strategies. The objective was to analyze the individual and combined influence of discounts and promotions on sales outcomes. A quantitative associative method was employed, using structured questionnaires distributed to 32 respondents consisting of marketing staff and customers, supported by internal sales data. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression, validity and reliability testing, as well as classical assumption tests. The results revealed that both discounts and sales promotions significantly increase sales volume, with promotions contributing more strongly than discounts. Simultaneous testing showed that 72% of the variance in sales volume was explained by the two variables combined. The findings highlight the importance of integrating financial incentives with creative promotional strategies to sustain competitiveness.

Abstract

Accreditation ranking serves as a key quality indicator for higher education institutions, including Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PIHEIs). However, organizational factors that drive accreditation success—particularly through the role of lecturer performance—have not been widely examined empirically in the local context. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with 95 respondents from 4 PIHEIs XII in Jambi Province as the sample. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS) to test the direct and indirect effects of Organizational Culture (X1) and Organizational Communication (X2) on Accreditation Ranking (Z) mediated by Lecturer Performance (Y). The results indicate that Organizational Culture has a significant positive effect on Lecturer Performance (?=0.554; p<0.001), but not directly on Accreditation; rather, its effect is fully mediated by Lecturer Performance (?=0.289; p<0.001). Organizational Communication has a significant direct effect on Accreditation (?=0.341; p<0.001), but no significant effect on Lecturer Performance. Lecturer Performance is proven to be the strongest predictor of Accreditation (?=0.521; p<0.001; f²=0.468). The model explains 70.4% of the variance in Accreditation (R²=0.704). The findings suggest that improving PIHEIs accreditation requires a dual strategy: (1) fostering organizational culture to enhance lecturer performance (long-term), and (2) refining communication systems to improve the efficiency of the accreditation process (short-term). Lecturer performance serves as a critical bridge between organizational inputs and institutional outcomes.

This research is quantitative with a case study on Honda Matic motorcycle users in the city of Blora. The sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 110 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS software. The results of the study show that: (1) Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. (2) Price has no significant effect on purchasing decisions. (3) Promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. (4) Product quality, price, and promotion simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The analysis also found that promotion is the most dominant variable influencing the purchasing decisions of Honda Matic motorcycles in the city of Blora. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 41.7% of the purchasing decision variable can be explained by the variables of product quality, price, and promotion, while the remainder is influenced by other factors outside this study.
