Abstract

Bangladesh is one of the high-risk countries of the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequent losses. The main objectives of this research were to find out the livelihood challenges and coping strategies of agricultural workers during pandemic situation. This study was conducted targeting lower income group of people (temporary agricultural worker, casual agricultural workers). As the nature of the research was qualitative, the researcher used convenience sampling to select respondents because this is the most common non-probability sampling strategy where respondents were selected in an ad hoc fashion based on their accessibility. However, the researcher has taken 60 respondents as sample in analyzing data, descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage) of responses are estimated. Scores of livelihood challenges are the means of a 4-point Likert-type scale used. From this study find that most of the respondents did small business but they did not get any help or small loan from NGO. Most of the respondents drive rickshaw, auto as their off day. Due to closing of school, respondents’ children engage themselves to earning activities. Key words: Covid-19 pandemic, coping strategies, Livelihood challenges , Agricultural workers

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the board's attributes from the corporate governance mechanism on the rating of sukuk in Indonesia. This study was conducted to see whether companies that implement corporate governance correctly get higher ratings than companies with poor implementation of corporate governance. The method used is a quantitative research method with ordinal logistic regression test equipment. The research sample was obtained by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that CEO tenure, board of commissioners size, firm size, and profitability had a significant positive effect on sukuk ratings. The size of the board of directors and leverage have a significant negative effect on sukuk ratings, while the proportion of independent commissioners has no significant effect on the sukuk rating. This study only covers the issuance of sukuk in Indonesia, and one rating agency. Nothing can compare to the issue of sukuk abroad. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs are a business group with a very large number in Indonesia. According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is 64,000,000 MSMEs and the City of Probolinggo has 33,395 MSMEs. Indonesia ranks second in Asia as the country that produces the most plastic waste after China. High waste production and the majority of the MSME industry make it important to implement Green Supply Chain Management. This study aims to determine the impact of the Green in Store Processes dimension on Performance Outcomes through the mediation of the Green Supply Chain Processes dimension with the research object of MSMEs in Probolinggo City. This study uses quantitative methods with multivariate analysis methods in data processing assisted by SmartPLS. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measurement scale. Data processing in this research is Direct and Indirect using SmartPLS software by carrying out two Bootstrapping processes in one tailed and two-tailed to determine the direct and indirect effects between variables.Based on the results of research conclusions, it is proven that many variables do not have a significant effect. The researcher suggests that the Probolinggo City Government should directly guide MSMEs regarding the implementation of Green Supply Chain Management. Abstract

The increase in investment interest during the COVID-19 pandemic is influenced by various factors. This study aims to show the factors that can influence investment interest in the capital market in the millennial generation during the covid-19 pandemic. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS application. The results showed: motivation, technological progress, investment returns, investment risk, and social media had a significant positive effect and financial literacy and minimum investment capital had a significant negative effect on investment interest. Application/Originality/Value: This study examines more independent variables than previous studies and this study finds that financial literacy actually has the opposite effect on investment interest during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is in line with the existing phenomenon that the high interest in investing in the millennial generation during the COVID-19 pandemic is not matched by a high level of financial literacy. Keywords: Motivation, Technological Advancement, Financial Literacy, Minimum Investment Capital, Investment Return, Investment Risk, Social Media, Investment Interest, Millennial Generation.

Abstract

This research is used to determine the magnitude of influence and significance between entrepreneurial knowledge variables and entrepreneurial characteristics to the success of small and medium enterprisesin the guitar industry center in Kembangan Village, Baki, Sukoharjo. The population in this study was obtained from village data of 80 guitar speakers in Kembangan Village, Baki District, Sukoharjo Regency. Because the population is less than 100 respondents, the sample used is the entire population of 80 who responded as a Guitar Industry Center Business Actor in Kembangan Village, Baki, Sukoharjo. The technique in this study uses non-probability sampling with saturated sampling types. The data analysis technique in this study is a multiple linear regression using SPSS software. Before analyzing data with multiple linear regression, instrument tests and classical assumption tests have been conducted first in concluding this research data so as not to be biased so that research is feasible. From the research results, it is known that entrepreneurial knowledge and characteristics have a positive and significant influence. The Result of Anaisis Coefficient of Determination (R2) obtained a result of 0.674 or 67.4%. This means that the ability of independent variables (entrepreneurial knowledge, characteristics) in this study affected dependent variables by 67.4%. The remaining 32.6% is explained by other variables not included in the regression model. Keyword :
