XI SMAS PAB 5 Klumpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa Kelas XI SMAS PAB 5 Klumpang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan design penelitian One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAS PAB 5 Klumpang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI-B yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Rata-rata tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran adalah 56,86 dan 67,53. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika digunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil rhitung yaitu 6,81 yang lebih besar dari nilai rtabel dengan taraf signifikan 5% (0,05) dan df 30 yaitu 1,70 (6,81 > 1,70) sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya pada taraf signifikan 62,41% terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Abstract

This research aims to find out how much the level of reasoning ability of female students in solving problems on the material of geometry build space, because reasoning is one of the standards that are needed in learning mathematics and become one of the objectives of learning mathematics and is needed for problem solving in everyday life. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The sample of this research is 30 students of class VIII A SMPs METHODIST 1 RANTAUPRAPAT with the research method is a written test. From this study shows that the level of reasoning ability of high students is only 27%, while students who have a moderate level of reasoning ability by 53% and students who have a low level of reasoning ability by 20%.

Abstract

The research with the of knowing student learning outcomes using the Make A Match type cooperative learning model on ecosystem material at SMA Negeri 1 Rindi Umalulu. This research is a Cassroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of pre-cycle activities, cycle 1 and cycle 2, with a total of 30 students. Pre-cycle activities, it was found that overall student learning outcomes with an average of 53.2, the number of students who completed 2 people with a percentage of 6.6% and who did not complete 28 people with a percentage of 93.3%. In cycle 1, student activities consisting of affective aspects included 9 students with good predicates and 21 students with sufficient predicates. Then the learning outcomes in cycle 1 mean the average value of all students is 65.4 students who complete consisting of 14 people with a percentage of 46.6% who do not complete consisting of 16 people with a percentage of 53.3%. In the cycle there were 16 students with very good predicates and 14 students with good predicates. The results of learning in cycle 2, the average value of all students is 76.5 students who complete consist of 25 people with a percentage of 83.3% and students who do not complete consist of 5 people with a percentage of 16.6%. The application of the Make A Match cooperative learning model to class X Biology learning outcomes in class X-IPA ecosystem material at SMA Negeri 1 Rindi Umalulu has increased.Keywords: Make A Match, (Cooperative) Learning Model, Learning Outcomes.  ABSTRAKPenelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match  pada materi ekosistem di SMA Negeri 1 Rindi Umalulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari kegiatan prasiklus, siklus 1 dan siklus 2, dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30 orang. Kegiatan pra siklus di temukan hasil belajar siswa secara keseluruhan dengan rata- rata 53,2, jumlah siswa yang tuntas 2 orang dengan presentase 6,6% dan yang tidak tuntas 28 orang dengan presentase 93,3%. Pada siklus 1, kegiatan  siswa yang terdiri dari aspek afektif meliputi 9 siswa dengan predikat baik dan 21 siswa dengan predikat cukup. Kemudian hasil belajar pada siklus 1 nilai rata- rata seluruh siswa 65,4 siswa yang tuntas terdiri dari 14 orang dengan presentase 46,6% yang tidak tuntas terdiri dari 16 orang dengan presentase 53,3%. Pada siklus 2 terdapat 16 siswa dengan predikat sangat baik dan 14 siswa dengan predikat baik. Hasil pembelajaran pada siklus 2, nilai rata- rata seluruh siswa adalah 76,5, siswa yang tuntas terdiri dari 25 orang dengan presentase 83,3% dan siswa yang tidak tuntas terdiri dari 5 orang dengan presentase 16,6%. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make A Match terhadap hasil belajar Biologi pada materi ekosistem kelas X- IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Rindi Umalulu meningkat.Kata kunci: Make A Match, Model Pembelajaran(kooperatif), Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine of implementation and the study result of physics student’s taught by the interactive learning media using the power point and PhET interactive simulation project and study result of physics student’s taught by using the power point slides on the subject of characteristics wave in the second semester at the class XI in SMA Swasta Sinar Husni Helvetia Medan. The type of research is experimental by post-test control group design. The population in the study were all student consisting of 2 classes with amount student of 70 people. Sample in this research is the total from the population. The instrument that use to determine students learning outcomes was the result test in the  from of multiple choice questions with 24 number by 5 options of answer. The result showed that the average score of the study result of physics student’s taught by the interactive learning media using the power point and PhET interactive simulation project  that (X1) is x = 16,73 and s1 = 3,281729407, while the average score of the study result of physics student’s taught by the power point slide that (X2) is x = 14,87 and s2 = 3,135055251. Hipotesis data obtanined ttesting = 2,42 with ttable=1,997 with that mean there were a difference in the study result of the physics that significant at the implementation of the interactive learning media using the  power point and PhET interactive simulation project  for the student’s learning result of physics. Keywords : power point media, PhET interactive simulation project, result of studying physics Abstrak Penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan sangat dibutuhkan dan memiliki peran penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi serta hasil belajar fisika siswa yang diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan  media power point dan PhET interactive simulation project dan hasil belajar fisika siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan media slide power point pada pokok bahasan karakteristik gelombang kelas XI semester II di SMA Swasta Sinar Husni Helvetia Medan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimental yang melibatkan variabel-variabel tertentu untuk menguji pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa dengan desain kelompok kontrol pos test (post-test control group design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA Semester II di SMA Swasta Sinar Husni Helvetia Medan yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 70 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah totalitas dari populasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan berganda berjumlah 24 soal dengan 5 opsi jawaban. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar fisika siswa yang diajarkan dengan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan media power point dan phet interactive simulation project (X1) adalah x = 16,73 dan s1 = 3,281729407, sedangkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar fisika yang diajarkan dengan media slide power point (X2) adalah x = 14,87 dan s2 = 3,135055251. Uji hipotesis data diperoleh thitung = 2,42 dengan ttabel=1,997 yang berarti ada perbedaan hasil belajar fisika yang signifikan pada implementasi media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan media power point dan PhET interactive simulation project terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa.Kata kunci : media power point, PhET interactive simulation project, hasil belajar fisika

Abstract

This study aims to determine: Student’s perspective as an agent of change. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The data processing technique uses triangulation. Data analysis used inductive analysis, namely data reduction, unitization and categorization, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1. Students as agents of change, namely students have an important role in a change regardless of the level of society or economic status, the intended changes are students who are agents of change, guardians of values, successors of the nation, moral strength and social control. 2. The role of civic education in shaping students as agents of change through several stages, namely: through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor instilled through civic education. Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a culture-based learning concept in the context of mathematics. The presence of mathematics with cultural nuances will make a major contribution to learning mathematics. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe mathematical objects and concepts found in Malay culture at the Kamu market. This type of research is qualitative research with ethnographic methods. Data analysis techniques used are literacy studies, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the culture at Kamu market has various ethnomathematics concepts found in traditional cakes from various regions such as Katimus cakes, Gadong cakes, Dangai cakes, Karas cakes, Lapet cakes, and Putu Bambu cakes. The mathematical concepts found are geometric shapes such as rectangles, spheres, cuboids, isosceles triangles, quadrilateral pyramids, and cylinders. This ethnomathematics exploration can be used as a learning medium that is expected to help and add insight into understanding the concepts of flat shapes and geometric shapes in learning mathematics.Keywords: ethnomatematics; culture; geomteryAbstrakEtnomatematika merupakan konsep pembelajaran berbasis budaya dalam konteks matematika. Kehadiran matematika yang bernuansa budaya akan memberikan kontribusi besar dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan objek dan konsep matematis yang terdapat pada budaya Melayu di pasar Kamu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode etnografi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah studi literasi, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya di pasar Kamu memiliki berbagai konsep etnomatematika yang terdapat pada kue tradisional dari berbagai daerah seperti kue Katimus, kue Gadong, kue Dangai, kue Karas, kue Lapet, dan kue Putu Bambu. Konsep matematika yang ditemukan adalah bentuk-bentuk bangun geometri seperti persegi panjang, bola, balok, segitiga sama kaki, limas segiempat, dan tabung. Eksplorasi etnomatematika ini dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat membantu dan menambah wawasan dalam memahami konsep bangun datar dan bangun ruang dalam pembelajaran matematika.Kata Kunci: etnomatematika; budaya; geometri

Abstract

Lack of understanding of the principles of curriculum development means that educational institutions simply imitate without carrying out analysis and adjustments in the process of developing their curriculum. So we can be sure that educational goals will not be achieved optimally. One of the important things to understand in curriculum development is educational philosophy. Educational problems often arise and become a factor that can hinder the achievement of educational goals, but by understanding what educational philosophy is as a whole, you will be able to direct educational stakeholders to find out the source of the problem, the solutions offered, and steps in realizing the achievement of educational goals in the future, along with changing times, science, and technology. The local content curriculum is expected to be able to bridge the conditions of educational units in the regions with the achievement of national education goals, which is the hope of all Indonesian citizens who want equal distribution of human resources throughout Indonesia. The preparation and development of local content curricula is oriented towards various philosophical schools, which are then translated into philosophical foundations in the curriculum. These currents include perennialism, essentialism, existentialism, progressivism, reconstructionism, and post-modernism.

Abstract

The low quality of students' understanding of basic concepts in cell biology courses is reflected in the quality of students when explaining these concepts in class. Therefore, there was a need for information regarding student profiles to explain basic concepts of cell biology. This research aimed to describe the student's profile. This quantitative descriptive research involved 41 students from the UMRAH Biology Education Study Program who took the Cell Biology course in the odd semester of 2023-2024. This research used observation sheets to observe explanation skills. Based on the results and discussion obtained, the student profile regarding skills in explaining basic concepts of cell biology is in the less skilled category. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya informasi mengenai profil mahasiswa tentang keterampilan menjelaskan konsep-konsep dasar biologi sel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil mahasiswa tersebut. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini melibatkan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi UMRAH yang mengikuti mata kuliah Biologi Sel di semester ganjil 2023-2024 sebanyak 41 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengamati keterampilan menjelaskan. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa profil mahasiswa tentang keterampilan menjelaskan konsep-konsep dasar biologi sel berada pada kategori kurang terampil. Abstract

This research is motivated by teachers still using the teacher center method so that learning is monotonous and the learning media is less interesting. Apart from that, it is not effective because students are less enthusiastic about learning so that learning outcomes are not satisfactory. This research has an urgency, namely to make learning interesting, innovative and make students have more motivation and enthusiasm for learning. The solution to overcome the problem is to develop learning media, namely smartbooks. The aims of the research are: (1) to determine the validity of smartbook learning media, (2) to determine the practicality of smartbook learning media, (3) to determine the effectiveness of smartbook learning media. This research is a type of development research (R&D) using a 4D development model through stages: (Define), (Design), (Development), and (Disseminate). The define stage is used to analyze and find out needs in the school. The design stage is to determine and design the product being developed. The development stage of the final product is different from other products. The disseminate stage is used for the product dissemination process through validation. The conclusion of this research: smartbook learning media is said to be very valid with a percentage of 86%. The results of the learning media teacher responses were said to be very practical with a percentage of 94%. Smartbook learning media is said to be very effective because after limited trials it got a percentage of 91% and extensive trials got 88%.Keywords: Smartbook Learning Media; fictional stories; East Javanese folklore.Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh guru masih menggunakan metode teacher center  sehingga pembelajaran monoton dan media pembelajaran kurang menarik. Selain itu tidak efektif karena siswa kurang bersemangat belajar sehingga hasil belajar belum memuaskan. Penelitian ini memiliki urgensi yaitu guna membuat pembelajaran menjadi menarik, inovatif dan membuat siswa memiliki motivasi serta semangat belajar yang lebih. Adapun solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ialah mengembangkan media pembelajaran yaitu smartbook. Tujuan dari penelitian ialah: (1) untuk mengetahui kevalidan media pembelajaran smartbook, (2) untuk mengetahui kepraktisan media pembelajaran smartbook, (3) untuk mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran smartbook. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D melalui tahapan: (Define), (Design), (Development), dan (Disseminate). Tahap define digunakan  menganalisis dan mencari tahu kebutuhan di sekolah. Tahap design  guna menentukan dan merancang produk yang dikembangkan. Tahap Development hasil final produk berbeda dengan produk lain. Tahap disseminate digunakan guna proses penyebaran produk melalui validasi.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini: media pembelajaran smartbook dikatakan sangat valid dengan presentase  sebesar 86 %. Hasil dari respon guru media pembelajaran dikatakan sangat praktis dengan presentase sebesar 94%.  Media pembelajaran smartbook dikatakan sangat efektif  sebab setelah uji coba terbatas mendapatkan presentase sebesar 91% dan suji coba luas mendapatkan 88%.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran smartbook: cerita fiksi: cerita rakyat Jawa Timur

Abstract

The problem in this study is the result of studying the mathematics of students IV UPT elementary school district 211 Punnia Pinrang district. The purpose in this study is to know the application of a cooperative learning Model Index Card Match can enhance the process and rewards of students’ learning how to read and interpret data in the form of a bar diagram in country’s IV UPT SD 211 district Punnia Pinrang. The approach used is a qualitative approach and the type of research is a class action study (PTK). The performance of this study is done in 2cycles beginning with preaction activities, then each cycle consist of 4 stage that include planning execution, observation, ang reflection. Data obtained through observation techniques, tes result and documentation. Instruments on this research are observation sheets, learning test result and documentation. Research shows that in the I category comes from observation of teacher activity with sufficient category and enough student activity observation. Cycle II shows increased results from good category observation of teacher activity and student activity observation increased by good category. Studies related to the results of studying cycle I are only 10 people complete with sufficient categories. Cycle II had an improvement of 15 students with good ratings. The study concludes with cooperative learning models.Keywords: index card match; cooperative learning; learning outcomes Abstrak Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendah hasil belajar Matematika siswa  kelas  IV  UPT  SD  Negeri 211 Punnia Kab. Pinrang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran  kooperatif  tipe  Index  Card Match  dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar siswa tentang cara membaca dan menafsirkan data dalam bentuk diagram batang di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 211 Punnia Kab.Pinrang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Pelaksanaan tindakan penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus diawali dengan kegiatan pra tindakan, kemudian pada setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pada siklus I hasil observasi aktivitas guru dengan kategori cukup dan observasi aktivitas siswa dengan kategori cukup. Pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan hasil observasi aktivitas guru dengan kategori baik dan observasi aktivitas siswa meningkat dengan kategori baik. Hasil penelitian terkait dengan hasil belajar pada siklus I hanya 10 siswa yang tuntas dengan kategori cukup. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 15 siswa yang tuntas dengan kategori baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Index Card Match (ICM) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika Kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 211 Punnia Kab.
