The sample of this study was pregnant women who visited the Independent Practicing Midwife in Padang City in July - August 2021 as many as 100 pregnant women. Data processing by editing, coding, entry, tabulating, and cleaning. This study was analyzed by a chi-square test. Results: Individual factors related to dietary practice were age (P-Value 0.037), parity (P-Value 0.030), and education (P-value 0.017) while there was no relationship between pregnancy interval and dietary practice during pregnancy (P-value 0.661). Conclusions and Suggestions: there is a relationship between age, parity, and education with the dietary practices of pregnant women, therefore pregnant women should often consult and seek information related to good dietary practices during pregnancy so that nutritional deficiencies during pregnancy can be prevented.

Newborn care is caring for babies without the help of medical staff again starting out of hospitals, maternity clinics, health centers, for example, such as breastfeeding, the right position when breastfeeding, bathing the baby, caring for the baby's umbilical cord and keeping the baby healthy. The mother's skill in caring for her baby is very influential on the baby's health. In addition, baby care that is carried out directly by the mother will make the baby feel comfortable and can have a positive impact on the growth and development of the baby in the future. However, in reality, there are still many postpartum mothers who do not have good abilities and skills in caring for their babies (Priscilla, 2013). The aim of the study was to determine the effect of counseling on how to care for normal newborns at home for primiparous postpartum mothers in PMB Lusi Yuliani, Sudimoro Village, Subdistrict Megaluh, Jombang Regency. Based on the results of research in Sudimoro Village, Megaluh District, it can be concluded that almost half of the respondents are not skilled at caring for newborns at home. The results of the analysis test using the Wilcoxon sign rank test showed = 0.000 (α = 0.05). 66.7% of primiparous postpartum mothers were quite skilled and 33.3% were less skilled in caring for normal newborns before counseling. After counseling, 100% of primipara postpartum mothers were skilled in caring for normal newborns properly. Abstract

Globally, the Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) is unacceptably high. The high number of maternal deaths during pregnancy and childbirth is caused by preventable complications during these periods such as hemorrhage, infections, eclampsia, hypertensive disorder during pregnancy, and obstructed labor. To prevent these obstetric problems, the World Health Organization (WHO) suggests using partograph for birth attendants, especially in low-resource settings. The aim of this study is to analyze the use of partographs in labor care by midwives as detections of difficulties in the labor process. This study used a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, focus group discussions and observations with midwives, head of PHC, and DHO officer as respondents. The results showed that the behavior of midwives in the use of partographs was still low. Lack of documentation regarding referral records. Motivation in using partographs is also low. Furthermore, there is a lack of supervision carried out by DHO Officers, professional organizations and leaders from each institution in health services. There is no direct monitoring of the evaluation of filling out the partograph sheet from the leaders. For reporting documentation, partograph sheets are made for archiving and claims for service payments. It is important that the DHO Officer improves monitoring and evaluation gradually and continuously to health care services. The Indonesian Midwives Association should supervise and provide guidance to each of its members.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a disease caused by the corona virus that has become a pandemic throughout the country. Adhering to health protocols by implementing 6M has proven to be one of the efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. This study aims to determine the effect of health promotion on preventing the transmission of covid-19 using audio-visual media on changes in people's behavior. The research design used is a pre-experiment with a One-Group Pre-Post Test Design approach. The sample in this study were 40 respondents who were determined by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire sheet. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for the Pre-Post Test. The results showed that there was an effect of health promotion on preventing the transmission of covid-19 using audio-visual media on changes in people's behavior with a significance value of 0.002 < (0.05). Prevention of Covid-19 by implementing 6M can be a good way to always use a mask when doing activities outside the home, washing hands with soap and running water or using hand sanitizer regularly, avoiding touching the face area when outside the house, avoiding oneself from crowds, reduce mobility and maintain distance from other people. Compliance with the implementation of the 6M health protocol will help the program to break the chain of transmission and spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia
