Abstract

Dental care is needed by all individuals, both children and adults. In Indonesia, dental and oral diseases, especially caries and periodontal disease, are still suffered by both children and adults. The main problems of dental health, namely cavities (dental caries), malocclusion and periodontal disease, trauma and tooth loss cause parents to misperceive dental problems regarding dental caries. From the results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers, it was found that there were 5 children who had dental caries. This type of research is quantitative using a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were all mothers who have children aged 4-6 years in Tunas Bangsa Kindergarten, Tulungagung Village, Baureno District, Bojonegoro Regency with a sample of 37 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Data were processed using univariate, bivariate and chi-square methods. The results of the Chi Square test analysis of maternal behavior in maintaining oral and dental health on efforts to prevent dental caries in preschool children obtained a p value = 0.044 with a value = 0.05. The behavior of mothers who did not prevent and did not prevent as many as 16 people (76.2%), the behavior of mothers who did not prevent as many as 5 people (23.8%), and the behavior of mothers who were good and did not prevent as many as 7 people (43.8%), and good mother behavior and prevent as many as 9 people (56.3%). This shows that there is a relationship between maternal behavior in maintaining dental and oral health and efforts to prevent dental caries. The advice that can be given is that mothers should pay more attention to their children's dental and oral health, especially preschoolers, monitor the food consumed by children.

Abstract

The benefits of breastfeeding for the health of mothers and children have been substantially proven. However, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months in Indonesia is still low in achievement, this is associated with low self-efficacy in breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypnobreastfeeding on breastfeeding self-efficacy for postpartum mothers in Kediri City in 2021.The research design used was a quasy experiment with a nonequivalent control group design approach. Involving 40 postpartum mothers as respondents consisting of 20 treatment groups and 20 control groups, which were taken by purposive sampling. The statistical test used in this study is the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the rest-feeding self-efficacy in the control group was mostly in the category of less than 80% (16 people), and in the treatment group mostly in the good category of 85% (17 people). The results of statistical tests using Mann Whitney obtained p-value (0.00 <0.05), which means that there is an effect of giving breastfeeding hypnosis (hypnobreastfeeding) on breastfeeding self-efficacy in postpartum mothers. Planting positive affirmations through hypnobreastfeeding into one's subconscious mind, can increase the mother's confidence in breastfeeding so that breastfeeding can be optimal for babies and achieve exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic and recurrent skin inflammation, accompanied by itching, occurs in certain predilection sites and is based on the presence of an inherited inherited hypersensitivity. This dermatitis is the most common form of dermatitis in infants and children. Other names are atopic eczema, dermatitis eczema, Besnier's prurigo and neurodermatitis. Dermatitis can occur for years, even for life, often recurring and interfering with daily activities due to intense itching. Knowing the effect of giving extra virgin olive oil on wound healing (degree of inflammation) in atopic dermatitis patients, the type of research used was pre-experimental because it revealed a cause-and-effect relationship involving only one group of subjects. so there's no control. strict on variables. The type of research design chosen was The One Group Pratest Posttest, which is an experimental design that was carried out in one group without a comparison group. This model has used a pre-test (pratest) then after being given treatment, a measurement (posttest) is carried out again to determine the consequences of the treatment, so that it can be seen the magnitude of the effect of the experiment. The results of the study can be interpreted that before being given olive oil most (75%) of the respondents had a severe degree of dermatitis and after being given olive oil half (50%) of the respondents had a mild degree of dermatitis, and half (50%) of the respondents had a moderate degree of dermatitis. It can be seen that the Z value is -4.916 with a significance of p = 0.000, so H0 is rejected so that H1 is accepted, which means that there is a difference in the degree of dermatitis before and after being given olive oil. Virgine Olive Oil Can Be Used As A Non-pharmacological Therapy In Overcoming The Degrees Of Atopic Dermatitis Both In Public Health Centers And Networks And In Hospitals

Abstract

The widespread of Covid-19 has many impacts on society, especially for someone exposed to Covid-19. Covid-19 survivors have many responses starting from the beginning of being infected until they can pass the covid 19 journey phase. The purpose of this study is to explore the experiences of patients in going through the journey phase of covid 19. The research method is qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological approach. The number of participants was 10 people determined by the Convenience Sampling method. The results showed that the initial chronology varied such as being infected from the crowd, closest family, and not knowing where the infection came from. Symptoms experienced ranging from fever, cough, anosmia, loss of sense of smell and taste, all body aches. Actions taken by participants by self-isolation, isolation in places provided by the government and some being treated in hospital. The psychological impact experienced by almost all participants felt anxiety, worry, and fear. Community responses varied starting to provide support and attention. But not all people can accept their condition, there are people who are afraid so that participants feel shunned by the community. Education about covid 19 and education on the application of health protocols, must continue to be carried out so that the incidence of covid 19 can be controlled. In addition, local government support is needed so that COVID-19 sufferers get positive support from their environment.

Abstract

The current COVID-19 pandemic has caused many changes in various lives, including changes in health services. One of the health services that is important to be a concern is antenatal care. During 2020, there was a downward trend in the number of antenatal care visits in various regions in Indonesia. Several factors that influence the decline in antenatal care visits are the COVID-19 pandemic situation, including the implementation of various policies to overcome the spread of COVID-19 and the motivation of pregnant women to conduct antenatal care visits. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivations of pregnant women in conducting antenatal care visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research design used is descriptive. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the working area of the Sooko Health Center, Mojokerto Regency until August 2021 as many as 87 pregnant women. The number of samples in this study were 72 respondents who were taken using simple random sampling technique. The variable in this study was the motivation of pregnant women to visit antenatal care (ANC) during the COVID-19 pandemic which was categorized into strong motivation, moderate motivation and weak motivation. Data analysis using univariate analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that more than half of the respondents in this study had weak motivation in conducting antenatal care (ANC) visits during the covid-19 pandemic, namely 38 respondents (52.78%). Antenatal care visits are one of the important needs that must be a concern for pregnant women considering that through regular antenatal care visits, pregnancies experienced can be monitored and treated early if a risk of pregnancy disorders is identified so that pregnant women can undergo pregnancy without significant interference. Keywords : Motivation; Pregnant mother; Antenatal Care; Covid-19 pandemic
