Abstract

Information technology is an inseparable part of human work today. It is growing very rapidly along with the human need for the speed at which information is processed until it is displayed to the user. Information systems are now widely used in all sectors, ranging from: economy, agriculture, health and so on. In the health sector, many health facilities have used information systems to improve services, one of which is Posyandu. Posyandu is the front line in providing family health services at the village level. Currently, Posyandu focus is preventing malnutrition or stunting. Standardization of stunt calculation data often changes. In addition, the calculation and documentation of toddler examination data is also still done manually. This has an impact on the efficiency of the performance of staff in determining toddlers who are affected by stunting. Data integration with the Ministry of Health is also a problem when recorded manually. Therefore, it is proposed that an information system that functions to perform Z-Score calculations and classify them into stunting or non-stunting groups. The existence of this information system can also support the government to encourage data integration between local governments and the center regarding stunting data. It is hoped that this information system can help the work efficiency of health cadres to record toddlers who fall into the Stunting category. In addition, it is also possible for the government to access data stored in the system to support data integration.

Abstract

Cluster analysis is the process of grouping a number of objects based on information obtained from data that explains the relationship between objects with the principle of maximizing similarities between members of one cluster and minimizing similarities between clusters. Cluster analysis is useful for identifying objects (recognition), supporting decision-making systems, and data mining. Cluster analysis consists of hierarchical (Average Linkage, Single Linkage, Complete Linkage, Ward's, and Centroid) and non-hierarchical (K-Means) methods. Each method generally has advantages and disadvantages. Apart from that, there are several distance measures that are commonly used in the grouping process, such as Euclidean, Canberra Metric, Czekanowski Coefficient, and others. In general, researchers will choose one or several cluster analysis methods as a comparison and a certain distance measure to be applied to the data in order to group objects based on certain criteria. In this research, a study and evaluation of Euclidean distance measures, Canberra Metric, and Czekanowski Coefficient were carried out using the Complete Linkage method based on simulated data. The conclusion obtained from evaluating measures of object similarity, namely Euclidean distance, Canberra Metric, and Czekanowski Coefficient by applying the Complete Linkage method, concluded that Euclidean distance is better used as a measure of object similarity in grouping cases compared to Canberra Metric and Czekanowski Coefficient.

Abstract

The practice of plagiarism can threaten the credibility of academic documents such as final assignments, theses, theses, and dissertations. Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO) is one of the best Muhammadiyah Universities in Indonesia. All academic documents at UMPO are well stored. However, plagiarism is only found in the Turnitin database and in the title of academic documents. This research aims to pre-screen academic documents in the internal scope by creating a plagiarism application that is easy to use and cheaper in terms of cost than using Turnitin. The steps of making a plagiarism detection system in academic documents using information retrieval (IR) with waterfall development. The design process starts from system requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. This plagiarism detection system goes through several stages, namely tokenisation, stopword removal, stemming, and termweigthing. Tokenisation involves converting uppercase letters into lowercase letters and removing punctuation marks. Stopword removal removes noise, stemming converts words into basic forms, and termweigthing uses local and global weighting to calculate similarity with the Vector Space Model. Document similarity is calculated using cosine similarity, rejected documents are considered free of plagiarism. If there is no similarity, the document is accepted as a source document, while the rejected document is not stored in the database. Further research on the document plagiarism detection system that previously only used the txt file extension, in the future it can use the .doc or HTML extension so as to increase the effectiveness of the performance of academic document examination time.
