Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on employee motivation and organizational performance at Puskesmas located in East Bandung City uses a quantitative approach. A total of 220 employees from 18 Puskesmas in East Bandung City participated in the survey, with data collection conducted through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.9 software, which focuses on hypothesis testing and bootstrapping to assess the relationship between variables. This study found that leadership style and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation, which in turn affects organizational performance and confirms the mediating role of motivation between leadership style and organizational performance, as well as between organizational culture and organizational performance. The statistical results show significant t-statistics and p-values, indicating strong predictive relevance of the model. However, the indirect effect through motivation is relatively moderate, indicating that further efforts are needed to strengthen the relationship in improving organizational performance. In particular, the research results highlight the need for better motivational strategies in Puskesmas to achieve more optimal organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of variables within the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) on behavioral intention and actual use of Onshore Power Supply (OPS) in Java Island ports, Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative approach with seven constructs: Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Risk, Subjective Norm, Attitude Toward Using OPS, Behavioral Intention to Use OPS, and Actual System Use of OPS. The novelty of this research lies in the application of a combined TAM and TPB model to analyze OPS adoption in ports as a strategic step to support environmental sustainability and operational efficiency. Data collection involved a Likert-scale (1-5) questionnaire distributed to 240 OPS users across various ports on Java Island and interviewed with 10 informants from both operators and users. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with PLS version 4.0.9.6. The results of testing 14 hypotheses show that all variables have a positive and significant influence on behavioral intention and actual use of OPS, with Subjective Norm being the most significant contributor to Attitude Toward Using OPS (coefficient value of 0.378). The study also revealed that the lowest-rated indicators were related to the perceived ease of approval processes for OPS construction (Perceived Ease of Use), user comfort (Perceived Usefulness), and perceived risks of equipment damage (Perceived Risk). To address these issues, strategic steps such as digitizing licensing processes, automating OPS systems, and implementing international safety standards are recommended. The proposed policy implications involve the government providing incentives for environmentally friendly technologies and enabling regulations to strengthen the adoption of OPS in national ports. This research significantly contributes to the development of policies and operational strategies that support the transition of ports in Indonesia toward more sustainable and environmentally efficient practices.

Abstract

Midwives play a vital role in addressing issues related to pregnancy and breastfeeding, which also helps prevent postpartum depression. Low satisfaction among hospital midwives can lead to inadequate professional identity and employee turnover. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that influence midwives' job satisfaction in maternity services. The stages in this research include starting, selecting cases and informants, compiling instruments and protocols, entering the field, analyzing data, establishing proportions, summarizing the literature, concluding, implications, and recommendations for further research. In this study, the researcher used ten midwives as research informants. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, field notes. Triangulation is used to help confirm research findings, reduce the shortcomings of a single method or source, provide greater insight, quickly detect and eliminate inconsistent data, and increase the validity and credibility of the research. The researcher concluded that there were ten latent variables from ten informants. Eight latent variables contributed to employee satisfaction. These factors include sense of dedication, family orientation towards relationships, synergistic teamwork, rational compensation, support for professional development, employee facilities, empathy for scarce resources, and serving patients with diverse demographics. In addition, two factors were identified as causes of employee dissatisfaction such as flood-prone facilities and work-life imbalance.

Abstract

The application of the green marketing mix in tourism, especially in tourism villages, involves marketing strategies that consider aspects of environmental sustainability in the development, promotion, pricing, and distribution of tourism products in tourism villages. Tourism villages are tourism products that are developed based on the potential of the village, both in the form of community, nature, and culture as an identity that has tourist attractions. Previous research related to green marketing mix has not specifically examined the influence of green marketing mix on tourist interest in tourist villages. Therefore, research on the influence of green marketing mix on tourist interest in tourist villages still has a research gap that needs to be filled. This study aims to determine the influence  of green marketing mix on visitor interest in tourist villages. The type of research used is survey research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is all tourists who have visited tourist villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The tourists who will be used as samples are tourists who visit the 5 best tourist villages in 2022 and 3 tourist villages that are among the top 75 of the 2023 Indonesian Tourism Village Award from the Special Region of Yogyakarta, with a total of 200 tourist respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling, which determines the sample based on chance, that is, anyone who happens to be willing to fill out the questionnaire can be used as a respondent. The data analysis used was Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and assisted by SPSS.  The results show that not all elements of green marketing have a significant effect on Tourist Interest. Green Place and Green Promotion have proven to have a significant influence, showing that the aspect of environmentally friendly location and effective promotion is an important factor in attracting tourists. In contrast, Green Product and Green Price did not show significant influence, indicating that environmentally friendly products and price have not been the main factors in tourists' decisions to visit tourist villages.

Abstract

The reality of religious radicalism in Indonesia is increasingly troubling every day, especially after reform. Religious radicalism is displayed in heartbreaking (inhuman) acts of dishonesty, such as the Bali Bombing, Poso tragedy, Ambon, Sambas, Tolikara, etc. All that is evil, such as the act of killing, terrorizing, burning, destroying fellow humans is strangely framed in the name of religion. This paper wants to limit itself to discussing religious radicalism in Indonesia from a philosophical and theological point of view. The method used is the verstehen method by listening to the reality of radicalism and looking at it in the eyes of philosophy. This becomes important for the growth of a good attitude in objectively viewing religions and living them properly in the context of a multicultural and Pancasila Indonesia. Religious theology, education and lectures should be education of peace, humanist aspects of growth, human culture bloomers, and not education about mastering religious materials that are very formal. Religious education must be in harmony with the values of the nation's called Pancasila.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) on the development of English speaking skills among secondary school students. The primary objective is to evaluate how the CLT approach enhances learners' fluency, accuracy, and confidence in oral communication. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, integrating classroom observations, interviews with educators, and performance assessments of students participating in CLT-based lessons over a 4-week period. The findings reveal that CLT significantly improves students' speaking proficiency by fostering an interactive learning environment where learners actively engage in real-life communicative tasks. Key improvements were observed in students' ability to articulate thoughts, use appropriate vocabulary, and interact effectively in various conversational contexts. Challenges, such as initial reluctance to participate and the need for well-structured activities, were also identified. This research contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting the effectiveness of CLT in language education. It highlights the importance of incorporating communicative practices into English language curricula to enhance learners' speaking abilities and overall communicative competence.
