Abstract

The Student-Centered Approach (SCA) is the basis for designing learning to equip learners with 21st century skills. One model that supports SCA is Station Rotation, which allows personalization of learning by dividing the class into stations with different activities. This research uses a systematic review of studies to analyze the impact of implementing Station Rotation in classroom learning. The results show that this model positively contributes to students' cognitive learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, collaboration, and learning motivation. This model can be applied at various levels of education, but needs to be combined with other learning strategies to be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the principal's role on the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah throughout Lasem District, Rembang Regency. Madrasahs play a strategic role in shaping academically and religiously outstanding generations; however, the quality of education in the region remains low. The study involved 101 teachers from three madrasahs using a quantitative approach and an ex post facto method. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring the variables of the principal's role and education quality. The analysis results indicate a positive and significant influence between the principal's role and education quality, with a correlation coefficient of 0.717 and a significance value of 0.000 in the ANOVA test. This suggests that the principal's role contributes 51.4% to improving education quality. The administrative role dimension was found to contribute the most, whereas the supervisory role has not been optimally implemented. These findings highlight the importance of effective educational leadership in enhancing the quality of education in madrasahs and the need for managerial strategies that can facilitate sustainable improvements in education quality.

Abstract

This study examines the learning of Quran memorization in realizing Quranic resources at SMPIT Batam City. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning of Quran memorization, identify the challenges faced by teachers, describe the factors that influence learning, and determine the methods used in learning Quran memorization at SMPIT Batam City. The study was conducted in four schools: SMPIT Ulil Albab, SMPIT Fajar Ilahi Batu Aji, SMPIT Fajar Ilahi Sungai Beduk, and SMPIT El-Yasin. The research method used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results showed that the four schools implemented a tahfidz program with different characteristics. SMPIT Ulil Albab implemented the most structured program with five main methods (Talaqqi, Tikrar, Muraja'ah, Wahdah, and Jama') and the Munaqosyah evaluation system. SMPIT Fajar Ilahi (both branches) focused on the joint muroja'ah method and independent memorization with differentiation programs such as AOT (Acceleration of Tahfidz). SMPIT El-Yasin used a more flexible approach. The success rate of the program varied between 60-70%, with SMPIT El-Yasin recording the highest success rate. Spiritual impacts were consistently seen in all schools, including improvements in the quality of worship, prayer discipline, and improvements in student morals. The main challenges faced included limited learning time, a less than ideal teacher-student ratio, and limited learning media. In conclusion, despite variations in implementation and methodology, all four schools succeeded in achieving the main goal of forming a Qur'anic generation. Key success factors included a systematic approach, realistic targets, intensive guidance through the halaqoh system, and effective collaboration between teachers, students, and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in increasing the competitiveness of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates in West Java. This topic is important because it is a strategic effort to bridge the gap between vocational education and the needs of dynamic industries. This study uses a qualitative approach to deeply understand how industrial internship programs are integrated into the curriculum and their impact on students and the school's relationship with industry. Data was collected through observation, interviews with the vice principal for curriculum, and document analysis. The data source came from SMK Negeri 9 Bandung City and SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi City which were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis is carried out interactively and continuously through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. Case studies in two vocational schools show that the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) cycle has been implemented systematically. However, challenges still arise in terms of synchronizing the curriculum with industry needs and resource limitations. The findings show a significant increase in the readiness of graduates to enter the world of work. This study concludes that TQM can be an effective framework for improving the quality of vocational education, provided that it is supported by conducive policies and stronger collaboration between schools, industry, and the government.

Abstract

The healthcare industry in Indonesia is increasingly competitive, prompting hospitals to adopt effective marketing strategies to improve patient satisfaction. RSU Ananda Srengat-Blitar, as a Type C hospital that continues to grow, faces challenges in maintaining service quality and competitiveness in the midst of intense competition. This study aims to analyze the effect of marketing mix elements (Product, Price, Place, promotion, person, process, and physical evidence) on patient satisfaction at Ananda SRENGAT hospital-Blitar. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method, data were collected from 300 hospital patient respondents. The results of the analysis showed that the variables of physical evidence, price, people (HR), and service processes have a significant positive influence on patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, product, promotion, and venue variables have no significant influence. The recommendations of this study include improving the quality of physical facilities, transparency of service costs, training of medical personnel, and optimization of administrative systems. With the right strategy implementation, Ananda hospital can improve patient satisfaction and strengthen its competitiveness in the healthcare industry.

Abstract

The entertainment industry is experiencing a notable evolution in humor, exemplified by the widely acclaimed content “Bocah-Bocah Kosong” on the YouTube WKWK Project by Genflix, which features women characterized by their oriental appearances and "Kosong" personas. This study seeks to elucidate the exploitation and manipulation prevalent within the entertainment industry through the application of Ruth Wodak's critical discourse analysis framework. The investigation was conducted by analyzing the textual content of episodes 1 to 30 of “Bocah-Bocah Kosong,” supplemented by interviews with four members of the production team, observational methods, and a review of relevant literature. The findings of this study, within the framework of cognitive dimension analysis, indicate that the production team engaged in exploitation throughout the entire process, from planning to scripting. The examination of the socio-psychological dimensions reveals that the manipulation of innocence, ignorance, and sexuality is employed to construct the identities of the characters in “Bocah-Bocah Kosong” through diverse modes of communication. An analysis of the linguistic dimension revealed that manipulative disclaimers were employed to evoke humor and exploit themes of innocence, ignorance, and sexuality as overarching narratives, alongside the strategic use of editing to enhance the text's impact. This manipulation is normalized by the entertainment business, which is ironic given that the owner of Genflix is a woman.

Abstract

A digital-based employee certification system plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry standards while enhancing employee engagement and productivity. However, a less intuitive interface design remains a challenge in its implementation. This study aims to evaluate the usability of an employee certification website using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach and the System Usability Scale (SUS) to enhance user experience and information accessibility. The research method involved system testing by 30 employee respondents as primary users, with evaluations based on the SUS. The analysis results indicate that the system achieved an average SUS score of 84.8, classified as "Very Good" and "Acceptable," signifying a high level of usability. These findings confirm that UCD-based design can improve user satisfaction and the efficiency of the certification process. However, certain aspects still require optimization, particularly regarding navigation and system feedback to support more effective interaction. The implications of this study include design improvement recommendations to enhance user engagement, accessibility, and overall certification platform effectiveness. Thus, this research contributes to the development of a more inclusive and responsive certification system that better meets user needs, ultimately supporting the achievement of organizational goals more effectively.
