Abstract

Abstract Road pothole handling should be done as soon as possible and using the appropriate patching material. In this article the handling of road potholes using quick patch products, as innovation results of the Institute of Road Engineering, is introduced. These products have some advantages, including that it can be laid on the ambient temperature, it can be produced in the form of packaging, and it has a high enough strength. The laboratory test result shows that it has the Marshall Stability value greater than 500 kg. The field trials also show good performance, with no aggregate segregation nor cracked and have a relatively small rut depth, with an average value of 6 mm. Keywords: potholes, road damage, patching material  Abstrak Penanganan jalan berlubang harus dilakukan sesegera mungkin dan menggunakan material penambalan yang sesuai. Pada tulisan ini diperkenalkan penanganan kerusakan jalan berlubang dengan memanfaatkan produk-produk Tambalan Cepat Mantap hasil inovasi Pusat Penelitian Jalan dan Jembatan. Produk-produk ini memiliki keunggulan, yaitu dapat dihampar pada temperatur udara sekitar (ambient temperature), dapat diproduksi dalam bentuk kemasan, serta memiliki kekuatan yang cukup tinggi. Dari hasil pengujian di laboratorium diperoleh nilai Stabilitas Marshall TCM lebih besar dari 500 kg. Hasil uji coba di lapangan juga menunjukkan kinerja yang baik, dengan tidak terjadi pelepasan butir atau retak serta memiliki kedalaman alur yang relatif kecil, dengan nilai rata-rata 6 mm. Kata-kata kunci: jalan berlubang, kerusakan jalan, material penambalan

Abstract

Kereta merupakan moda transportasi utama yang sering kita gunakan, kereta sendiri bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai alat untuk pegiriman barang dan memobilisasi penumpang, transportasi ini sangat unik yang dan memiliki jalur tersendiri berupa rangakaian besi baja melintang hingga beratus kilometer, struktur bantalan kereta api saat ini ada yang menggunakan beton dan kayu, jalur kereta tersebut sangat vital dan merupakan sarana pendukung penting. Proses monitoring jalur kereta api sendiri sangat ini komplek dan rumit diperlukan waktu yang lama, cara sebelumnya bersifat sederhana dan konvesional dengan menyusuri jalur kereta secara manual atau menggunakan alat pengukur geometri yang dipasang direl atau dikenal juga dengan nama railpod, railpod akan menyusuri rel dan akan memberikan report jika terdapat jalur kereta apa yang rusak, patah atau bergeser, pada penelitian ini akan dibuat sistem monitoring berbasis image dengan memanfaatkan drone sebagai alat pemantau jalur rel, cara lain adalah dengan pengambilan gambar bisa menggunakan data satelit yang akan memberikan informasi yang jelas tentang kondisi jalan sebelum dilalui oleh kereta api, sistem pengolahan data jalur kereta api dengan menggunkan image processing bisa menampailkan respon visual hingga ukuran cm, respon tersebut muncul jika ada pergeseran jalur maka sistem langsung memberikan data berupa lokasi dan pergeseran jalur pada komputer utama, sistem ini lebih cepat dalam mengecek dan menganalisa data jalur kereta dengan akurasi dan presisi yang tinggi hingga 90%, selain citra dari satelit pengambilan gambar bisa menggunakan drone, drone sendiri sangat mudah dalam perawatan dan penggunaan serta mampu memangkas biaya produksi bahkan kecelakaan kerja petugas dilapangan sendiri bisa di hindari karena drone mampu menjangkau jalur dan rel kereta api yang sulit misalkan melewati terowongan atau derah rel dijalur perbukitan dan padat penduduk.

Abstract

The design of the UI of the Information System for managing goods data is a system interface design that is used to manage input, output, and recapitulation of goods for inventory, so as to minimize human error and minimize loss of goods data. The problem occurs in the current business process, namely for managing data on incoming goods and outgoing goods only recorded in book archives. So that it often experiences problems in calculating goods and takes time to get information about goods data that is not in accordance with availability. The purpose of this research is to design a goods data management system UI, which can manage data and stock items using the Design Thinking method which will be applied at CV. XYZ. The result of this research is a UI design that operates to support the business processes of the warehouse section, so that managing requests for purchasing goods to suppliers can be more accurate, searching for goods data can optimize time, and help the process of supplying and selling goods to consumers.Keywords: Design Thinking, Goods Data, User Interface

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan dan implementasi sistem presensi berbasis QR Code dalam lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam pengelolaan kehadiran mahasiswa, khususnya terkait dengan pengumpulan data kehadiran yang tidak akurat, kesulitan melacak dan merekam data kehadiran secara efektif, serta keterbatasan untuk melacak kehadiran mahasiswa secara real-time.Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dan mengimplementasikan sistem presensi berbasis QR Code dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Metode ini melibatkan proses identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, pembuatan prototipe, dan pengujian prototipe tersebut. Fokus penelitian adalah memastikan bahwa aplikasi presensi menggunakan Kode QR dapat memenuhi harapan dosen dan siswa, sekaligus mempersingkat dan mempermudah proses presensi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi presensi menggunakan Kode QR sesuai dengan harapan dosen dan siswa. Sistem ini berhasil mempersingkat dan mempermudah proses presensi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Namun, perlu diakui bahwa meskipun QR Code memberikan kecepatan dan kemudahan, faktor kritis yang harus diperhatikan adalah keamanan dan integritas data.Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menyajikan solusi yang efektif dalam pengelolaan kehadiran mahasiswa melalui implementasi sistem presensi berbasis QR Code. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya memperhatikan aspek keamanan dan integritas data saat mengadopsi teknologi presensi berbasis QR Code di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Digital marketing is used by many business people around the world, from small-scale SMEs to large ones. One of the solutions offered is digital marketing strategy training, which is an alternative for SMEs with limited promotional budgets. The use of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and websites is an alternative that can be used to create a brand image and digital and social media presence for the customer journey through sales and marketing funnels. This research aims to get digital marketing strategy training for SMEs developed at the Bandung City Trade and Industry Service. With this training, community empowerment programs related to the implementation of digital marketing can run smoothly. The proposed activity plan begins with a preliminary survey and outreach, followed by the development, review, and delivery of training materials, as well as the training itself, as well as guidance and assistance, monitoring, and assessment. Publication is one of the required submissions. The qualitative descriptive research analysis method was used in this study. The results of the training show that business actors are very positive about this activity, which provides benefits and inspiration so that they have a follow-up plan to run their business online.

Abstract

This research attempts to depict a sentiment comparison of the top 5 E-commerce platforms in Indonesia by gathering the emotional tone behind sentence contents related to customer sentiments, customer experiences, and the brand reputation of E-commerce. Data were collected using Python 3.11.4 with the google-play-scraper library, extracted from user reviews/comments on each play store page of the top 5 E-commerce platforms in Indonesia. A sampling of 10,000 records was taken to form a long document term matrix (DTM) of 59,981,785 due to the limitation of CPU capacity for data matrix size. R Programming version 4.3.1 was employed for sentiment analysis in this study. It can be concluded that user comments or reviews on the top five (5) E-commerce platforms in Indonesia show positive sentences indicating user satisfaction (3664 sentences), neutral sentences indicating average user appreciation (2282 sentences), and negative sentences indicating user dissatisfaction (4054 sentences). At least with more positive and neutral sentences, it is indicated that 59.64% of E-commerce users in Indonesia express a positive opinion on the performance of the top 5 E-commerce platforms in the country.

Abstract

Company X is a growing company along with increasing customer demand and employee needs, which means a computerized system is needed to reduce errors in salary calculations. Currently the company is still less effective in calculating employee salaries because it still calculates, pays salaries and makes reports manually with methods in data collection, namely using interviews with company owners, conducting field observations and also questionnaires used for assessment of system design, the design method uses prototypes which have stages, namely listening to customers or collecting needs, Design and Test in assessment The trial uses a System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment of the respondent's assessment data, then calculates using the formula from the System Usability Scale, the smallest value is 78 and the largest value is 90 from the depalan respondent by answering 10 questions which has an average score of 86 from the qualifications in the table above "Very Feasible" the user interface must be designed so that it is easy to use and easy to understand so that payroll data input errors can be avoided. The use of autofill features and real-time data validation can help reduce input errors. And to create an effective user interface, it is necessary to understand user needs and expectations well. This can be achieved by involving users during the design and testing process, such as surveys, interviews, and prototype trials.

Abstract

This research aims to explore Calvinist ethics as a foundation for tolerance in religious life within pluralistic societies. Calvinist ethics, with its principles of predestination, hard work, simplicity, and social responsibility, demonstrates significant potential to foster social harmony and interfaith tolerance. This study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review of relevant primary and secondary sources. The findings indicate that the doctrine of predestination provides a theological foundation for respecting individual freedom and fostering mutual respect. Furthermore, the principles of hard work and simplicity in Calvinism promote the reduction of social disparities, which are among the primary causes of religious conflict. In the Indonesian context, these values can be applied to overcome social segregation and create inclusive interfaith relationships. Examples from Calvinist communities in Indonesia and the Netherlands confirm how Calvinist principles facilitate interfaith dialogue and support social harmony. This research expands previous discussions by introducing a new dimension to understanding the relationship between Calvinism and religious pluralism. The integration of love, justice, and religious freedom into the modern societal context establishes Calvinism as not only a theological tradition but also an ethical framework relevant for addressing the challenges of religious pluralism.

Abstract

Vehicle inventory management and data collection information system is a system based on a Management Information System so that it has complete implementation functions that aim to record all vehicles. The main objective of developing this information system is to provide services that are faster, transparent and accurate on the service side of borrowing official vehicles within the Widyatama University environment. In the current vehicle inventory information system, it is not yet computerized and is done manually. The inventory registration information system is expected to be useful for minimizing errors that have occurred so far such as the unclear condition of the vehicle and when the vehicle will return, the design of the inventory information system is expected to produce an inventory information system that can work optimally and efficiently can perform testing services, readiness of drivers and management of motorized vehicles that operate according to the provisions that have been regulated, where the type of service can be adjusted to vehicle test data that is periodic, mutations in (Arrive) / out (booking) can be seen clearly by officers or users, other functions are there are changes to the function and status of the vehicle so that the vehicle will always be available and ready to be used.

Abstract

Political communication has a central role in shaping public opinion and political dynamics in Indonesia. This research aims to investigate the role of text in the context of Social Network Analysis (SNA) and political communication in Indonesia. This research combines NLP (Natural Language Processing) text analysis with SNA to understand how texts related to politics can provide insight into the relationship between political figures, political issues, and society. The research methodology involves collecting text data from various sources, such as social media, online news, blogs, and political discussion forums. The text data is then processed, analyzed and modeled with SNA analysis tools and NLP algorithms to identify relationships and communication patterns in a political context. In addition, this research also considers how the sentiments in these texts can influence the dynamics of sociopolitical networks. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a deeper understanding of how political texts can be used as a tool for SNA analysis, with a focus on the Indonesian context. The findings of this research can be useful for political researchers, communication practitioners, and political decision makers to understand the political dynamics that are developing in the digital era. Apart from that, this research also has implications in understanding how political issues and political figures are understood and perceived by the public in political communication in Indonesia.
