Abstract

Information technology is developing rapidly in all aspects of life and until now its application has created conditions conducive to community work. One of the activities that can now take advantage of information technology is e-voting in the election of the chairman and deputy chairman of the organization. SMK Nurul Huda Petir has more than 200 students. The democratic process of selecting the head of this school organization is still used manually. There will be many obstacles, namely data security risks, which will reduce learning time, and require large implementation costs. The problems that arose created an information system called e-voting. E-voting is a system for creating ballots, casting, counting, and displaying ballot results, and generating and maintaining audit trails electronically and digitally. This research aims to speed up, improve security, and reduce implementation costs in the process of election activities at Nurul Huda Petir Vocational School. The application development process-voting uses the method Waterfall with Unified Modelling Language (UML) for system design. System e-voting its build-based web with Framework Codeigniter and added an RFID sensor (Radio Frequency Identification). The results of this research found that the application of e-voting can reduce 80% of implementation costs, improve voice data security, and speed up the process of collecting and calculating voice data.

Abstract

KBIH Ibnu Aqil is part of the Agus Salim Bogor Haji Foundation which operates in the field of training and guidance for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The registration system implemented by KBIH Ibnu Aqil is still carried out by the congregation having to come directly to the foundation, this is felt to make it less easy for the congregation to find out information regarding the details of the registration process, the costs incurred and also the departure schedule related to the implementation of the Hajj and Umrah. Furthermore, the process of creating the registration report takes a long time, because it is still done manually by recording it in stages. Therefore, with these problems, a web-based registration information system is needed to overcome problems in the current system, this aims to facilitate registration and dissemination of information. The research method used was direct observation and interviews with the admin and chairman of KBIH. Meanwhile, the software development method used is the waterfall method and the application creation uses CodeIgniter as a PHP framework, and the database uses MySQL. The expected results from designing a web-based Hajj and Umrah registration information system at KBIH Ibnu Aqil are expected to improve the services provided to pilgrims and become a solution to existing problems.

Abstract

Various technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), aim to streamline system functionalities. IoT finds application in diverse sectors, notably Smart Homes, enhancing household tasks and bolstering security via internet-connected devices. This study investigates IoT's utilization in detecting different types of smoke—combustion smoke from various sources like cigarettes, paper, and gas. The trials involved testing the MQ2 sensor's efficacy in detecting smoke at varying distances. In testing this device the author conducted several trials on several types of combustion smoke, cigarette smoke, paper combustion smoke and gas. In these trials, the authors obtained several tests of distance differences in detecting smoke using the MQ2 sensor. The devices made in this study have been adjusted to the purpose of the study. The important conclusion of this study is the need to understand the specifications of the device at the beginning of the study, so as not to use 2 (two) microcontrollers

Abstract

The ripeness level of the avocado greatly affects the shelf life of the fruit and also determines the taste of the fruit. Determining the proper ripeness of a fruit will play an important role in increasing the nutritional value and ripeness of avocado affects the quality of avocado oil. Classification of fruit maturity manually has many limitations because it is influenced by human subjectivity so that the application of digital image processing needs to be used.This study aims to classify avocado fruit ripeness which is divided into three categories, namely Unripe, Ripe, and Rotten. This research is intended to facilitate the classification of ripeness in fruit through its color. This study used avocado fruit as an experimental material which was carried out using the SVM (Support Vector Machine) method. The colors of the various avocados and in different positions and conditions of light contrast are used as data to classify the types of avocados. Data collection was taken from the selected Keagle Dataset of 150 data. The data is grouped into two data sets, namely dataset-1 (120 training data and 30 test data) and dataset-2 (90 training data and 60 test data). The image will be converted to grayscale to facilitate the classification process and look for HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) and RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values to classify the fruit. The results from dataset-1 has an accuracy rate of 86%, 90% precision, and 86% Recall, while dataset-2 has an accuracy rate of 85%, 84% precision, and 85% Recall.

Abstract

Short animated film inspired by the surrounding environment in North Kalimantan which often uses boats called outboard motorboats or ketinting boats as a means of river transportation. Ketinting is a type of traditional boat that uses a motor propeller and is placed at the back in a position immersed in the water as a driving force to run the boat using diesel fuel, and is often found in various areas, especially the North Kalimantan region. Ketinting boats are usually used as a means of transportation to move places via river routes, and are usually also used by fishermen as transportation to find income in the form of fish. This animation tells the story of the life of a computer student who has parents who work as fishermen. This animation tells the problem of how difficult and expensive it is to get diesel fuel and then the students find a solution by using technology that uses solar energy as a substitute for diesel fuel. The animation creation process consists of pre-production, production and post-production using dialogue and music as support. The results of the animated video are created as a medium for entertainment, information and education related to solar energy that can be watched by all groups.

Abstract

Mekarmukti Village is located in Cisaga District, Ciamis Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The village is famous for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, as well as its agricultural practices. The village is surrounded by lush green forests and hills, making it a popular destination for tourists looking to explore the natural beauty of West Java. One issue that often arises in the Mekarmukti Village community that is the focus of attention is the lack of clarity of information conveyed to residents, causing them to repeatedly seek information. The village government has difficulty collecting family data due to various reasons and the busyness faced by residents, hampering the performance of the village government. From the above problems, the purpose of study is designing a Website-based Information System that is used to facilitate the Mekarmukti Village community in getting or obtaining the latest information from the Village Government. In addition to making it easier to get information, this information system also provides information related to tourist info and tourist maps, as well as financial transparency of Mekarmukti Village.

Abstract

Islamic religious education is an important aspect of Muslim life, and learning Arabic and Hijaiyah letters is an integral part of Islamic education. The use of augmented reality (AR) technology in educational setting is rapidly increasing. This study aims to apply the AR concepts to the creation of mobile Hijaiyah letters using Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology. The application of AR in this application allows users to interactively learn each hijaiyah letter. Through a mobile device camera, users can see hijaiyah letters that appear virtually on the device screen. The development of this application is based on the needs of users in understanding hijaiyah letters in a more attractive and interactive way. Thus, this application is expected to facilitate users, especially children, to learn hijaiyah letters more effectively.

Abstract

Eating and drinking are basic daily human needs which are used in various activities from waking up to going back to sleep. A person's activities can be carried out well if he regulates regular eating and drinking patterns. On the other hand, someone who does not have a regular eating and drinking pattern will cause the emergence of various diseases, one of which is gastritis. Therefore, we need a solution to improve eating and drinking patterns so that the body remains healthy and avoids various diseases. The methodology used to design this application is the ADDIE method. This research aims to design an Android-based eating and drinking reminder application. The application that has been built can make it easier for someone to manage their daily eating and drinking patterns and remind them of their daily eating and drinking consumption schedule by sending notifications to the user's smartphone.

Abstract

Giving awards is done to increase the morale and motivation of employees. The problem faced by PT Nikomas Gemilang regarding awarding is that it still uses the conventional method, namely in the form of a lottery, so it is considered ineffective and on target by employees who have high work motivation. Decision Support System (SPK) is a system that is used for problem-solving in decision-making, especially awarding at PT Nikomas Gemilang. Making decisions using this system will assist management in determining which employees are eligible to receive awards based on predetermined criteria and to avoid intervention. The method used is Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) which solves a problem based on calculations with calculation reference criteria namely attendance, performance, ethics, and discipline. Implementation of this system is expected to facilitate the process of awarding and assist management in making the right decisions and is expected to be able to provide motivation and increase work competition in the corporate environment. The Decision Support System was built using the PHP programming language, Laravel framework, MySQL database, using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) design model, and the Waterfall methodology. The results of this study are expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in awarding and provide a form of transparency in awarding employees at PT Nikomas Gemilang to create justice for all company employees

Abstract

The smallest government agency at village level is the sub-district office, which is an agency that processes population data, especially in the process of making Family Cards (KK), Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Immigrant Certificates and Moving Certificates. To be able to improve population data collection and its reports to higher agencies, namely sub-districts, steps are needed to develop a data management system. The aim of this research is to analyze the running system and design a computerized information system. The data collection methods used in this research are direct observation, interviews, literature, and analysis methods and system design using UML. The administrative service system in Lembangsari sub-district still uses ledgers to input data for letters that have been created. Searching for the letter file to be created is still experiencing difficulties due to the accumulation of files. Mail files that have been created are prone to being lost. Therefore, a follow-up information system that utilizes information technology will help collect data on the population of a sub-district, especially in the process of collecting population data, Family Cards (KK), Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Immigrant Certificates and Moving Certificates to be more effective and efficient.
