Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of lecturers in higher education using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method. The main problem faced is the complexity of assessing lecturers based on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education-education, research, and community service-as well as the challenges of subjectivity and inefficiency in manual assessment. MAUT was chosen due to its ability to consider various assessment criteria in a structured and objective manner and follows the standardization of outstanding lecturer assessment including: Education, Research, Community Service, Discipline, Commitment, Cooperation Ability and Ability to innovate. The results showed that Adi Fajar Insani had the best performance with a total final score of 1.01, while Dian Eka Fitriani had the lowest score of 0.00. The MAUT method proved effective in providing a comprehensive and fair assessment, overcoming the limitations of traditional methods that are not thorough. The conclusion of this study is that the application of MAUT can improve the objectivity, efficiency, and accuracy of the lecturer evaluation process, thus encouraging the improvement of lecturer quality and productivity in various fields. Further research is recommended to develop more relevant assessment criteria, involve larger samples, and explore the use of more sophisticated technology to support the assessment process.

Abstract

Kelurahan Pantai Amal merupakan kantor yang berada di Kecamatan Tarakan Timur, Kota Tarakan, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, dan memiliki peran penting dalam melayani Masyarakat pada wilayahnya sesuai kebutuhan dari Masyarakat sekitar. Pelayanan yang dilakukan biasanya terdiri dari surat pengantar dan surat keterangan berdasarkan pengajuan dari Masyarakat. Dalam proses pelayanan ini terdapat banyaknya tumpukan antrian dikarenakan proses pengerjaan pendataan dan juga pembuatan surat masih menggunakan Ms. Word dan Ms. Excel yang harus diketikkan satu persatu. Dalam hal ini teknologi sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempercepat proses pekerjaan yang dilakukan pada kelurahan Pantai Amal. Aplikasi Sistem informasi dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan metode waterfall dan diharapkan dapat memiliki hasil yang tepat dan akurat dikarenakan melewati beberapa proses, diantaranya Analisa kebutuhan, Perancangan, Implementasi, Pengujian, dan Pemeliharaan. Aplikasi yang dinamakan dengan Sistem Informasi Pelayanan (Simpel) Kelurahan Pantai amal dapat melakukan pendataan dan pengarsipan lebih cepat daripada saat menggunakan Ms. Word dan Ms. Excel.

Abstract

The high disparity in prices of agricultural products between farmers and consumers raises special concerns. The prices paid by consumers are high, while farmers as producers receive low prices. The many distribution chains that must be passed from farmers to consumers are the main cause of this disparity or difference. The phenomenon related to increasing use of Sayurbox is still not accompanied by very good customer satisfaction. Many customers feel disappointed with the quality of the products and services provided by Sayurbox. This research aims to determine the level of service quality of the SayurBox application with the variables contained in Servqual, TAM and IPA. This research variable uses user perceptions and user expectations from five Servqual dimensions, namely Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and 2 dimensions of the Technology Acceptance Model, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use. Data collection was carried out using an online questionnaire containing 24 questions representing the dimensions used. Next, the collected data will be analyzed using the four quadrants of the IPA method to find out management information and service quality strategies. Quadrant 1 Keep Up The Good Work has 9 indicators, Quadrant 2 Possible Overkill has 3 indicators, Quadrant 3 Low Priority has 6 indicators and Quadrant 4 Concentrate Over Here there are 6 indicators. It can be concluded that integrating the Service Quality (Servqual), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) methods can provide analysis results related to the user experience of Sayurbox users.

Abstract

Criminal acts often occur in recent times. In addition, each company also needs to create an instrument in the attendance administration process. Computer vision method by using human faces is used in this research. The method in this research is divided into three parts, namely data collection, analytical, and prototypes methods. To get maximum system design results, at least an analysis is needed to determine the system requirements. At the system design stage, the system is designed with images such as flowcharts and block diagrams. Testing using black box gets several evaluation results. The door lock system uses the facial recognition method, by matching the face image with the database that has been saved from the camera module captures. All data displayed in a web based application. This research is expected to assist companies in creating an automated attendance system, so that it can be useful as assisting companies in maintaining employee discipline and office security.

Abstract

Failure in the breastfeeding process is often caused by several problems, both in the mother and the baby. Often mothers do not know what the problem is and how to solve it. By using the forward chaining method this expert system was built to help provide an initial diagnosis of the problem of breastfeeding mothers. From this expert system can be obtained information about the problem, its definition, symptoms, and initial solution before going to the nearest health worker. Based on the results of using the forward chaining method, this expert system is able to conclude the problem faced based on the symptoms experienced by breastfeeding mothers and provide information on the initial treatment that can be done. Abstract

Efficient and timely fire reporting system is a crucial aspect in managing emergency incidents involving fire risks. Currently, many major cities in Indonesia, including Bandung, still face challenges in effectively handling fire reports. Therefore, this research aims to design a fire reporting system using the Waterfall method based on mobile technology, with a case study on the Fire Department (DAMKAR) of Bandung. This study proposes the Waterfall method as a structured and organized framework for system development. The Waterfall method enables sequential development phases, starting from planning, needs analysis, design, implementation, to testing and maintenance. In this research, mobile-based technology is used as a reporting medium, allowing the public to report fires quickly and accurately. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the design of an efficient and responsive fire reporting information technology system. Additionally, the Bandung DAMKAR case study can serve as a reference for similar system development in other cities. Another expected benefit is an improved response and rapid handling of fire reports, thereby minimizing material losses and human casualties. It is hoped that the proposed system will help enhance the performance and effectiveness of DAMKAR Bandung in fire management. Furthermore, the findings of this research are expected to provide new insights to authorities in addressing fire challenges in major cities in Indonesia. Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including governance and public services. In this digital era, the use of information technology has rapidly increased, enabling the creation of good governance through transparency and accountability. In Manado City, the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) has a mission to provide fast, accurate, and friendly services to the community. However, limitations in human resources and manual archiving sistems have led to delays in issuing activity recommendation letters and difficulties in data management. To address these issues, it is necessary to develop the "Application for National Vigilance and Conflict Management Services at Kesbangpol Manado City." The method to be used in developing this application is Extreme programming (XP). The XP method is highly relevant as it focuses on team collaboration, rapid feedback, and iteration, allowing for adaptive and responsive software development that meets user needs. With this approach, the team can quickly respond to changes in requirements and improve features based on user input, ensuring that the resulting application is not only efficient but also aligned with user expectations. It is hoped that this application will enhance the efficiency of managing recommendation letters and simplify the monitoring and evaluation processes, thus enabling public services to be delivered in accordance with established standards.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks low in global literacy, with various surveys indicating a very low level of reading interest. To address this, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched the National Literacy Movement (GLN) in 2016, which includes cultural literacy aimed at preserving culture and promoting tolerance among the Indonesian people. However, the lack of educational materials on cultural literacy could threaten these positive achievements, particularly in North Sulawesi, a region with a high religious harmony index. As time progresses, it is hoped that existing technology can be utilized to provide solutions to human challenges, including improving human resources and promoting cultural and historical development. Therefore, this study aims to design an AJAX-based e-learning sistem focused on the history and culture of North Sulawesi, featuring interactive elements such as learning modules, quizzes, and discussion forums. The sistem will integrate technology with local culture to ensure that younger generations do not lose their national identity and cultural heritage, even in the middle of technological advancements.

Abstract

The recruitment of security personnel at PT Krakatau Jasa Industri is an organized process involving prospective security employees who work directly in the field of security. Currently, the management of security candidate data at PT Krakatau Jasa Industri is still done manually, using job application documents, followed by entering the security employee data into Microsoft Excel. Additionally, there is a lack of supervision over prospective security employees. The objective is to facilitate the recruitment process at PT Krakatau Jasa Industri quickly and accurately, while also enabling better monitoring of new security candidates. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies. The research method used is the waterfall model. The system design tools used include UML (Unified Modeling Language), specifically the Use Case Diagram, Class Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Sequence Diagram. The system is implemented using PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language and MySQL as the Database Management System. The result of this research is a web-based system designed to manage the recruitment data of security personnel at PT Krakatau Jasa Industri, simplifying the recruitment process.

Abstract

Supervision at the storage of raw materials of PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (IKPP) Serang carried out by the safety team directly and from CCTV monitoring is still not effective against fires because there is no fire detection device in the area, and for fire prevention in the place there is a sprinkler that is used to control the temperature by watering water based on the time not based on the actual temperature in the field, as well as when a fire occurs in the place reporting and watering Sprinkle still uses human labor. The research method used is the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) model with the Waterfall approach, which includes requirements analysis, system design with the integration of temperature sensors and fire sensors on Arduino devices, system implementation, functionality testing, and routine maintenance. The purpose of this research is to design a fire detection system that can provide early detection of fire spots, fire prevention by controlling the temperature of raw materials with automatic watering tools, as well as being able to run automatic watering and provide notifications directly to the security team through WhatsApp Gateway when a fire occurs. The results of the study show that the system developed can provide effective monitoring of environmental temperature and detect fires, which has the potential to reduce the risk of loss and improve response to emergency events in the industrial environment of IKPP Serang.
