Abstract

Impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange varies widely. Some companies are trying to survive while others are experiencing a decline, and some are experiencing an increase. This study aims to determine the differences in the company's financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in food and beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The object of this research is 27 food and beverage companies. Wilcoxon test is used to determine differences in the company's financial performance. The test results showed that there were no differences in financial performance as measured by: CR, DR and PE before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and there were differences in financial performance: TATO and ROE before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in food and beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction can be achieved if various employee expectations can be fulfilled by carrying out their work. This study aims to analyze the effect of conflict and role ambiguity on job satisfaction with emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap (SAMSAT) in South Medan. The research respondents were all 72 employees. This type of research is causality. The results of the study prove that partially or simultaneously conflict and role ambiguity have a significant effect on job satisfaction either directly or through emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable. The higher the conflict and ambiguity of the roles that employees live, it will trigger the emergence of emotional exhaustion and will ultimately reduce job satisfaction, and vice versa. Therefore, the leadership needs to conduct a proper job analysis in order to identify the suitability of employee characteristics required for each position in the agency. Briefings to explain various forms of work plans also need to be carried out periodically to provide a better understanding of the tasks that must be accomplished by each employee.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of religiosity on the consumption behavior of cosmetic packaging products. The object of this research is the women community in Lili Riawang Village, Bengo District, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The type of research used is field research using a quantitative approach method. The data collection technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of religiosity affects the consumption behavior of cosmetic packaging products in the female community in Lili Riawang Village, Bengo District, South Sulawesi Indonesia. R Square value of 70.3% indicates that the behavioral factor of religiosity is very influential on consumption behavior, while the remaining 29.7% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze E-service quality on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to customers who use the BSI mobile application at BSI Meulaboh Imam Bonjol Branch Office. The population in this study are all BSI customers who use the BSI mobile application with a total sample of 105 respondents. This study uses a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach and partial least squares analysis assisted by Smart PLS 3 software. The equation models analyzed are the outer model, inner model and hypothesis testing by analyzing the results of path coefficients which are evaluated through bootstrapping calculations. Based on these results, it was found that the e-service quality of all indicators was only tangibles indicators which had a significant impact on customer loyalty but did not have a significant impact on customer satisfaction using the BSI mobile application. Meanwhile, the variable customer satisfaction on customer loyalty has a significant impact, which means that when customers are satisfied, they will be loyal in using the BSI mobile application.

Abstract

South Korea’s economy has been heavily depend on major power countries such as US, China, Japan, and Russia. However, with the changing dynamics in international world such as growing protectionism in US during Trump leadership, China’s expansion of influence in Asia, as well as trade war between US and China causing President Moon Jae In to switch South Korea’s economy horizon. New Southern Policy is a diplomatic initiative established to reduce those dependence. South Korea invites India and ASEAN as its brand new partners. South Korea stated that Indonesia is a major partner in New Southern Policy. This research aims to analyze the impact of New Southern Policy in Indonesia, especially in economy and defense sectors. The impact on economy sectors are both countries agreed to signed IK-CEPA agreement, South Korea which eager to make Indonesia as new production base in ASEAN through Hyundai company factory construction, and LG Consortium investment in the electric vehicle battery cell industry. Moreover, the impact on defense sectors is joint venture project for the production of KFX/IFX fighter jets.

Abstract

The study aims to discover and figure out the extent of the implementation of bureaucratic reform, in terms of organizational and of human resources dimentions, and whether it still has a strong prismatic society tendency. In the context, the dominant indication in staffing is the formalistic stigma, especially placement of the apparatus. The method is a survey through area sampling technique. Kecamatan Wara Timur was chosen because the area has the most urban villages, has the largest population in Palopo City. The results showed that the implementation of bureaucratic reform by menas of organizational change indicated by the presence of vacant 5th, 6th, and 7th class positions, while the hardware, The Mayor Regulation 35/2019 as regards Position Levels, had been established. These also indicates that the prismatic society in local government organizations is still quite strong.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in the consumption behavior of the people of Gresik city from the modern market to the online shop. In this study using a descriptive qualitative approach. The nature of the writing is descriptive, the research subject is the people who live in Gresik Regency GKB Housing located in Gresik Regency. Data collection techniques use primary and secondary data, primary data in the form of observations and interviews, while secondary data comes from journals, articles, books and others. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and data verification methods. The results of the study show that the change in the consumption pattern of the people of Gresik city from a modern market to an online shop was triggered by covid-19, where the pandemic period required the public to comply with health protocols and PPKM policies which made people locked out of their homes and interacted in order to break the spread. covid-19. With the COVID-19 pandemic and the support of the increasingly rapid development of information technology, people are more likely to consume or shop online rather than buying goods at the right place, such as shops, malls, supermarkets, and minimarkets. This has created a change in the consumption pattern of the people of the city of Gresik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze "The Influence of Taglines and Jingels on the Formation of Brand Awareness" (Studies on Oreo Ads with the Taglines "Diputar, Dijilat, Dicelupin" and Jingle "Bayangkan Ku Beri Oreo" on Television to students at Institut Pembangunan Airlangga  Surabaya (IPAS)). This study uses a quantitative method, the data source is obtained from primary data sources using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The sample in this study were 37 people. The analytical tools used include validity and reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression tests, F tests, t tests, correlation coefficient tests and coefficients of determination test. The results of statistical analysis explain that: (1) Tagline and Jingle variables together have an effect on Brand Awareness. (2) Tagline variable has no significant effect on Brand Awareness. (3) The Jingle variable has a significant effect on Brand Awareness.

Abstract

Metaverse is the latest technology issue widely discussed, especially during a pandemic that limits humans from massive physical gatherings. In the Metaverse world, users can transact virtually and carry out economic, entertainment, and social activities. This is where the urgency of law reform in the economic field arises, which aims to accommodate the community's needs and is an instrument to protect rights and obligations. In addition, researchers will examine and describe normatively and conceptually what business aspects can be done in the metaverse and the urgency of legal reform for metaverse users who transact virtually. This research is normative juridical research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The legal materials used are secondary and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results of the study found that various business potentials can be carried out in the metaverse world, including several legal aspects. From the many opportunities and challenges that exist in the metaverse world, progressive legal norms are needed to provide legal protection for the community by formulating a legal product (law or implementing regulation) that is integrated with all digital aspects that can be used specifically for managing virtual transactions in the metaverse world.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the work experience in mediating the influence of teamwork on the work effectiveness of the employees of PT. Bank SUMUT Medan. The population in the study were employees of the marketing division (Funding Officer and Account Officer) at PT Bank Sumut Medan totaling 196 people and a sample of 132 respondents who were determined by proportional random sampling technique from 3 branch offices namely Medan Main Branch Office, Medan Iskandar Muda Branch Office, and Medan Sukaramai Branch Office. The analysis technique used is Mediated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that work experience mediates the effect of teamwork on the work effectiveness of employees at PT. Bank SUMUT Medan. The suggestions are to improve teamwork at PT. Bank SUMUT Medan, the leadership needs to make intense and effective communication and cooperation beetween employees in order to contribute the progress of the company. There are needs to facilitate joint activities in the company either through games, recreation, problem solving, and others that can build good relationships, grow a sense of belonging, mutual support, and mutual trust in a work team.
