Abstract

Microfinance institutions are a sector that must be developed and utilized optimally in order to achieve equal distribution of people's income. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of effective and efficient credit realization to increase profits. The research method used is the explanatory method. The results showed that the implementation of credit at the BMT Sunan Kalijogo Syirkah Cooperative was not effective and efficient. This is evidenced by the rise and fall in the value of profitability which also affects the rise and fall in the value of credit realization. In calculating the NPL ratio, it reached 32.58% in 2011 with the lowest NPL value of 17.85%, so that the average NPL ratio is still at 31.22% annually. The calculation of the BOPO ratio reached 95.86% in 2012 with the smallest ratio in 2011 of 77.11%, so that the average BOPO ratio is still 88.26% every year, which means that operational activities are still not efficient. Whereas the value of the profitability ratio reached the highest in 2014 of 4.92%, while for the value of the smallest profit ratio in 2015 which reached a figure of 1.38%, the size of this profitability ratio shows operating expenses which are influenced by current loans and credit traffic jams impacting revenue. The conclusion of this study is that an increase in the NPL ratio can increase the value of BOPO and decrease the value of the Profitability ratio. Suggestions for this research are to improve management performance in collecting third party funds and increase the principle of prudence towards prospective customers and through diversification of customer portfolios.

Abstract

Since the signing of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) by the Obama Administration in February 2016, anti- and pro-TPP groups have emerged during the United States presidential campaign. Both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have voiced their voice against the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement. This study describes the role of party platforms, both Republican Party Platform 2016 and Democratic Party Platform 2016 as a scale to find important information related to the Trans Pacific Partnership issue during the 2016 United States presidential campaign. On the other hand, after his meeting with President Obama in October 2015 in the United States, President Joko Widodo said that Indonesia was ready to join the Trans Pacific Partnership. By using Dependency Theory, this study will explain why a free trade agreement such as the Trans Pacific Agreement must be measured by national interests before being implemented as a government policy.

Abstract

One way to motivate employees is by providing fair and transparent incentives and rewards in order to achieve better and more accurate company goals. Employees who are motivated will carry out their work well. This study aims to determine the effect of incentives and rewards on employee motivation at Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU Pasti Pas! in Kediri). The method used in this study is descriptive method with a quantitative approach with a sample of 58 respondents selected. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, Pearson correlation and coefficient of determination, as well as the F test and t test using SPSS 18.0 for windows. The results showed that the incentives provided by the company were included in the sufficient criteria, and the rewards distributed by the company were included in the sufficient criteria and the level of employee motivation was included in the sufficient criteria. The results of hypothesis testing conclude that simultaneously or partially incentives and rewards have a significant effect on employee motivation. Simultaneously the magnitude of the influence of the two independent variables on work motivation is equal to 75.9%, while partially Reward has a greater effect than incentives on employee motivation.

Abstract

The implementation of decentralization policies often creates social conflict implications related to the struggle for boundaries of autonomous regions with the argument of maintaining regional identity, but not a few conflicts over territory are by design for certain interests. The analysis of this paper uses a grounded theory approach to analyze several findings in the field related to conflicts over territory between West Halmahera Regency and North Halmahera Regency in North Maluku Province with the aim of revealing how the territorial boundary conflict between North Halmahera and West Halamhera districts can occur and how the role of policy actors in designing the conflict.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of social problems related to urban spatial planning faced by the people of Malang City, such as: increasing population, increasingly rapid development, traffic jams in certain areas, the air temperature is getting hotter. For this reason, it is necessary to plan and control a good urban spatial plan in order to create conditions for a directed and orderly arrangement of buildings in Malang City. The research results show that: 1). Bappeko authority: a). Authority in the preparation is carried out through six stages so that wisdom can regulate and achieve spatial goals that are comfortable, harmonious, and evenly distributed. b). The coordination authority carried out by Bappeko is still limited to the activities of agencies, agencies and districts by trying to organize and foster cooperation and synchronize all activities. c). The authority to control Bappeko starts from monitoring, reporting, evaluating to the means of control, namely policing, but the evaluation which is carried out every five years seems to legalize the violations that have occurred. 2). Bappeko's authority constraints in planning, coordination and control include: a). Internal; The lack of human resource capacity in the field of coordination and monitoring is due to the fact that the Bappeko structure does not have control sub-sectors. b). external; there is no technical clarity and guiding standards in control and there are local government interests for increasing local revenue (PAD) and the community's economy so that control is weak due to strong adherence to structural lines.

Abstract

Watersheds or watersheds actually have a very important role for the survival of many living things, including humans. Not only to meet the various needs of the agricultural sector, watersheds can also provide a number of positive things, such as healthy drinking water, to become a source of food for humans and animals. Good management of the watershed will have a beneficial impact, but if there is a mistake in managing it will certainly bring losses that are not only felt by some areas, but will also be felt by other areas. The Brantas watershed deserves to be in the spotlight because it is currently experiencing various quite complex problems, one of which is the dominance of economic interests which often overrides ecological interests. The three local governments (Batu City Government, Malang Regency Government, and Malang City Government) have a big challenge in building a framework of understanding and agreement for the preservation of the ecosystem around them. Intergovernmental Relations or relations (cooperation) between related governments becomes urgent to be implemented immediately. This study aims to find solutions to the various problems currently being faced by the Brantas Watershed through a model of cooperation between Regional Governments. The method used is a qualitative research method. The focus of this research is to find forms of cooperation between local governments in the management of the Brantas watershed. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. Methods of data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study conclude about the need for cooperation between the Regional Governments above through the establishment of an independent committee or body that specifically has planning, organizing, implementation/implementation, monitoring and evaluation authority.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction and organizational commitment on the early retirement program of the Regional Telecommunications Division of Indonesia V East Java. The data used in this study were obtained from questionnaires, literature studies, and interviews with parties related to the research objectives. The analysis tool uses several regression hypothesis tests, namely the F test and t test. Total sample of 76 employees using the Simple Random Sampling method. The results of the study show that job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously have a negative and significant effect on the early retirement program of the Regional Telecommunications Division of Indonesia V, East Java. Partially, the variable of job satisfaction has the greatest influence on the early retirement program. The value obtained from this study is R Square of 0224, which means that 22.4% of the variation in early retirement programs is explained by variations in job satisfaction and organizational commitment variables, the remaining 77.6% is explained by other variables outside this study

Abstract

The influence of entrepreneurship education so far has been considered as one of the important factors for growing and developing entrepreneurial passion, spirit and behavior among the younger generation. Related to the influence of entrepreneurship education, it is necessary to have an understanding of how to develop and encourage the birth of potential young entrepreneurs while they are still in school. Several previous studies stated that students' entrepreneurial desires are a source for the birth of future entrepreneurs. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of entrepreneurial motivation and mentality on the entrepreneurial spirit of STIE Canda Bhirawa Kediri students. To obtain the required sample, a census was carried out by way of direct interviews with students. After conducting a census of 30 STIE Canda Bhirawa Kediri students who were entrepreneurs. Because the population < 100 people. The data in this study were obtained by collecting primary data in the form of a questionnaire. then analyzed using quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods and tested with the z test and t test. From the test results it was concluded that the suitability of the resulting regression analysis model is suitable for knowing the influence of motivation and mental entrepreneurship on the entrepreneurial spirit of STIE Canda Bhirawa students. For this reason, it is necessary that the motives and mentality of entrepreneurship among students must be maintained and maybe even elaborated by managers (universities in particular) into the curriculum in providing students with provisions to enter the world of work after graduation. The weakness of this study is only on a sample of students at one tertiary institution. It is recommended for further research to use a larger sample with several tertiary institutions in order to make better generalizations, besides that it can make a distinction regarding the motivation and mentality of entrepreneurship between students and female students, where in this study it turned out that 67% of entrepreneurs are female students.

Abstract

Penyelenggaraan kewenangan pemerintah daerah telah bergeser ke arah prinsip ultra vires doctrine yang nampak pada perumusan kewenangan pemerintah daerah menjadi urusan pemerintah daerah, dan pembagian kewenangan pemerintah pusat dan daerah mengedepankan prinsip yang kongkuren.Kondisi ini ditandai dengan penyelenggaraan urusan pendidikan yang terbagi antara pemerintah kabupaten/kota dengan pemerintah provinsi, dimana untuk pendidikan dasar diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah kabupaten/kota sedang pendidikan menengah dikelola oleh pemerintah provinsi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan motode kualitatif melalui observasi dan kajian pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penyelenggaraan urusan pendidikan menengah yang dialihkan kepada pemerintah provinsi akan menimbulkan sejumlah kecenderungan baru dalam pengelolaannya baik pada pemerintah daerah maupun pada pemerintah provinsi. Pertama, bahwa kebijakan – kebijakan yang selama ini dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah daerah terkait bidang pendidikan tidak seluruhnya akan diakomodir oleh pemerintah provinsi. Kedua, kecenderungan pada meningkatnya alokasi anggaran pada pemerintah provinsi sebagai ekses pengalihan kewenangan tersebut. Ketiga, proses evaluasi, pengawasan dan pengendalian penyelenggaraan pendidikan menengah oleh pemerintah provinsi yang akan semakin berat dilihat dari sisi letak geografis wilayah, dan keempat kekhawatiran akan kurang terakomodirnya muatan kearifan lokal dalam penerapan kurikulum, dimana sebelumnya setiap kabupaten/kota tentunya memiliki karakteristik budaya yang berbeda sebagai bentuk kearifan lokal yang dapat menjadi penguat dalam penyusunan kurikulum pendidikan. Key Words : Penyelenggaraan Urusan Pemerintahan, Pendidikan Menengah Abstract Implementation of local government authority has shifted towards the principle of ultra vires doctrine which appears on the formulation of local government authority to the affairs of local government, and the division of central and local government authority put forward the principle of kongkuren. This condition is characterized by the implementation of educational affairs divided between district / municipal governments and provincial governments, where basic education is administered by district / municipal governments while high school is managed by the provincial government. This research was conducted with qualitative motive approach through observation and literature review. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of secondary education affairs transferred to the provincial government will lead to new trends in the management of both local government and provincial governments. First, that the policies that have been issued by local governments related to the education sector will not be entirely accommodated by the provincial government. Second, the tendency to increase budget allocation to the provincial government as an excess of the transfer of authority. Third, the process of evaluation, supervision and control of the implementation of high school by the provincial government will be more severe in terms of geographical location of the region, and the four concerns will be less accommodated local wisdom content in the application of the curriculum, where previously each district government / different as a form of local wisdom that can be a reinforcement in the preparation of educational curriculum. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pondokpesantren sejak dasawarsa terakhir telah muncul kesadaran untuk mengambil langkah-langkah tertentu guna meningkatkan kualitas SDM yang mampu menjawab tantangan dan kebutuhan transformasi sosial (pembangunan). Dari sinilah timbul berbagai model pengembangan SDM. Baik dalam bentuk perubahan kurikulum pondok pesantren yang lebih berorentasi kepada kekinian atau dalam bentuk kelembagaan baru semacam pesantren agribisnis. Dan bahkan di beberapa pondok pesantren telah mengadopsi dengan teknologi maju. Sudah mengajarkan berbagai macam tehnologi yang berbasis keahlian dan pendidikan keterampilan yang mengarah pada pendidikan profesi. Penekanan pada bidang ketrampilan ini pondok pesantren semakin dituntut untuk self supporting dan self financing. ABSTRACT : Boarding school since last decade awareness has emerged to take certain steps to improve the quality of human resources that address the challenges and needs of social transformation ( development ). From this arises the various models of human resource development. Either in the form of changes in the boarding school curriculum more oriented to the present or in the form of a kind of new institutional boarding agribusiness. And even in some boarding schools have adopted the advanced technology. Has taught a variety of technology -based educational expertise and skills that lead to professional education. This emphasis on field skills increasingly demanded boarding school for self-supporting and self-financing.
