Abstract

This study aims to determine the background and motivating factors for survivors to become local volunteers in the earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction natural disasters that occurred on September 28 in the city of Palu. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of the study showed that being a survivor's background in volunteering was a position as a board or member of Muhammadiyah, and there was also an interest in MDMC work. The driving factors (1) imply the meaning of Al Maun, be useful human beings, (2) as an act of gratitude, (3) an expression of gratitude for the opportunity of life given by God, (4) working as a volunteer becomes one of the ways to restore emotions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze customer satisfaction at Mayang Collection, test and explain the effect of servqual dimension service quality (physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, confidence, and empathy) on customer satisfaction at Mayang Collection, and test and explain the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty on Mayang Collection. The population in this study were customers of the Mayang Collection Kepanjen store who had a member card and made a repeat purchase. Population research or population study so that the number of samples in this study is a number of population, amounting to 93 respondents. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method, which is a method used to explain causal relationships between variables through hypothesis testing (Nazir, 2005). Based on the results of the static test all the indicators in this study are valid, and the variables are reliable. The results of the servqual analysis show that the difference or gap between customer expectations and employee performance has a total average which is at the moderate classification level (Parasuraman table, 1990) or service quality in Mayang Collection stores is quite good. This means that customer satisfaction in terms of quality of service provided at Mayang Collection is quite good. The path analysis test results (path analysis) show that there is no significant influence between servqual dimension service quality (physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, confidence, and empathy) to customer satisfaction. This proves that service quality has a long-lasting influence in shaping customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty. Mayang Collection stores are advised to pay more attention to and improve other factors besides service quality in increasing customer satisfaction, because with increasing customer satisfaction, customer loyalty will be formed easily.

Abstract

This study aims to know the best practice cooperative learning method, that suitable for economics and business mathematics course learning in Muhammadiyah Malang University. The specific goals of this study are: (1) Improving students of class 1-D in Management Department of Muhammadiyah Malang University's learning participation in sequence and series subject matter using cooperative learning with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in the odd semester of 2017/2018, and also (2) Improving Improving students of class D in Management Department of Muhammadiyah Malang University's comprehension about sequence and series subject matter using cooperative learning with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in the odd semester of 2017/2018. The results of this study show that learning activities using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method has been proven can improve student's learning participation and comprehension in sequence and series subject matter of economics and business mathematics course.

Abstract

The purpose of trying to make the uniqueness of tourism products is to be able to attract tourists to visit and have future behavioral intentions. Therefore this study aims to examine the influence of destination image variables, e-wom on satisfaction and trust. The problem raised is whether the Destinastion Image has a significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction? Does E-WOM have a significant effect on the Tourist System? Is the Image Objective Significant to Trust? Does E-WOM have a significant effect on Trust? Research is conducted on tourists who visit the tourist attraction of Tebing Breksi DI Yogyakarta. The number of samples used was 115 people using systematic random sampling. Analysis techniques using SEM. The results showed that the Destinastion Image had a significant effect on Tourist Satisfaction, E-WOM had a significant effect on Tourist Satistfacton, Destination Image had a significant effect on Trust, E-WOM had a significant effect on Trust, Tourist Satisfaction had a significant effect on Trust.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how much the return and risk level of stocks listed on index LQ45, index shares, in order to determine the portofolio optimal using a single index model, to analyze the combination of stocks included in the portofolio optimal to give return and risk portofolio.The investment decision process is a continuous decision process. This investment decision process goes on and on until the best investment decision. Stock return is income that is expressed as a percentage of the initial capital investment, profits can be in the form of return that have already or expected. Realized return is a profit that has occurred, calculated based on historical data which is also useful as a basis for determining expected profits and risk in the future. Beta is a measure of the systematic risk of a stock portofolio relative to the market risk. General, beta measures the sensitivity of the profit level of a stock against the level of profit sensitivity of a market portofolio. Beta stocks are very useful to measure how much the level of courage of investors about risk. To anticipating the risk that will be faced by investors, a method is needed to minimize the risk, while still optimizing the return to be obtained. To minimize risk and optimize the return of the investments is to diversify stocks, namely to arrange an portofolio optimal consisting of stock instruments traded on the IDX, while the method is an optimal portofolio based on a single index model, this method is calculation the stocks to help investors to determine whether a stocks can be included in the portofolio optimal and determine which stock combinations provide to optimal return. In addition to, forming a portofolio and stock combination investors are expected to make investment strategies in the capital market both active strategies or passive strategies. From the results of the analysis of the study of 45 stocks incorporated in the LQ45 index there were 37 liquid stocks from January 2017 to December 2017, obtained 14 stocks from 37 stocks formed in the portofolio optimal based on the cut off point value of 0.81883 with a return portofolio rate of 13.16 % with risk portofolio level of 0.000047%, this risk is smaller than investment in individual stocks directly. That on individual stocks the higher the risk value, the higher the level of return.

Abstract

Sampang Regency is one of the districts located on Madura Island, originating from the abundance of cassava plants planted by the community in the area so that many residents process cassava plants into suitable processed materials to be sold as typical or superior food for the community as well as suitable as or typical food from Sampang Regency. The problem is how the use of social media as a means of promoting cassava chips in Sampang Regency can increase sales. The output target to be achieved in this study is publishing in ISSN STIA LAN Bandung Journal. This research is a type of quantitative research, viewed from the level of explanation. This research is an associative study with a form of causal relationship. To answer all research objectives, the analysis is used with a Simple Linear Regression Analysis Model and to test the significance used t test. Research data analysis techniques using simple regression. Suggestions for related offices to assist in the development of the tette chips business in Sampang Regency in optimizing social media for online businesses require training related to marketing and communication marketing through social media.

Abstract

Auditor performance is an audit task that is finished by the auditor at a certain time and measured by audit quality, total task that auditor had finished, and the timeliness planned. Auditor at   Purwanto, Sungkoro & Surja Public Accountant Firm did a negligence in giving an opinion for PT Indosat Tbk. They gave an opinion without enough accurate evidence. It means that the auditor performance still being an important issue in Indonesia. Core self  evaluations and machiavellian are two personality that can predict the individual performance. Core self evaluations consist of four aspects which is locus of control, emotional stability, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. All of that personality can predict the individual behavior at workplace including individual performance. This research  implemented in public accountant firm at Bali Province. Data collected by spreading the questionnaires to the respondents. The respondents are auditor who already worked  equal or more than one year. The data was analyzed using  multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that locus of control,  emotional stability, and self-esteem had a positive and significance influence on auditor performance. On the other hand, self-efficacy and Machiavellian had a positive but not significance influence on auditor performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the implementation of the Women's Savings and Loans in the National Program for Empowerment of Rural Independent Communities (PNPM-MP) and the role of the Women's Savings and Loans in the National Program for Empowerment of Independent Rural Communities (PNPM-MP) in improving the welfare of the Payaman Village community. Data collection techniques carried out by interviews, field notes and observations. Data analysis method used in this research is qualitative description analysis, the data obtained are arranged systematically with the good result that can be concluded as clear conception. It also can be provided precise research data about the object of this research. The results showed that SPP in the National Program for Empowerment of Independent Rural Communities was carried out in accordance with the phases in PNPM's PTO (Technical Operational Guidelines). SPP PNPM Mandiri in Rural Areas play a very important role for the Payaman village community, among others, it also can increase business activities, expand employment opportunities and become sources of income especially for women. On the other hand, it also develop the economy of rural communities and become asset that is accessible easily and sustainable. The SPP program carried out in Payaman village has been running in accordance with every steps in the PTO, for this reason there should be guarantees, sanctions or fines applied in each group and it is expected that SPP beneficiaries can be applied to their respective groups so that they should continue to run according to the flow, so the funds can provide benefits in right way and on the target.

Abstract

Companies in the food and beverage consumption goods sector are mostly affected by a number of factors that affect risk. Variables that are quite dominant influence on business risk include firm size, financial risk and profitability. This study uses a quantitative approach to analyze the effect of firm size, financial risk and profitability on business risk in the food consumption goods sector on the IDX. The results showed that the three variables together influenced the business risk of the consumer goods sector while partially the profitability variable was the most influential on business risk in the food and beverage sector companies on the IDX.

Abstract

Saat ini media sosial telah menjadi pemasaran yang efektif untuk berkomunikasi secara interaktif dengan konsumen. Bahkan media sosial memiliki peran penting dalam Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui penerapan media sosial dan manfaat media sosial terhadap perkembangan UKM TARAJUNIK (Tas Rajut Unik). Beberapa manfaat paling nyata dari penggunaan media sosial adalah 1) sebagai kontak pribadi dengan konsumen, 2) sebagai galeri produk, 3) sebagai media promosi, dan 4) sebagaidasar pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Selain manfaat tersebut, beberapa manfaat lain yang dirasakan adalah menyampaikan tanggapan kepada konsumen, survei pelanggan, forum diskusi online, pendataan kebutuhan konsumen, dan lain-lain.
