Abstract

Kidney stones (nephrolithiasis) are the formation of hard material in the kidneys such as stones derived from minerals and salts. Small kidney stones can move to the ureter, bladder and urethra. This causes irritation. PNCL (Percutaneous Nephro Litholapaxy) surgery is one of the endourology procedures to remove stones in the kidney tract by inserting an endoscope into the chelicera through an incision in the skin. The stones are then removed or broken into small fragments and cause wounds that cause pain. Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience accompanied by potential and actual tissue damage. One of the non-pharmacological therapeutic actions in overcoming pain is by applying deep breathing relaxation techniques. Deep breathing relaxation techniques are carried out by nurses teaching clients how to take deep breaths, slow breaths (holding inspiration to the maximum) and how to exhale slowly. From this case study, it is expected to describe nursing care for post-operative PNCL patients in the application of deep breathing relaxation techniques for post-operative PNCL pain in the Eri Soedewo Pavilion Room, V floor, Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. The case study method used in compiling this final assignment is a descriptive case study using one patient for research. Based on the case study obtained, there was a decrease in the pain scale from a pain scale of 5 to a scale of 2 after the application of deep breathing relaxation techniques. So it can be concluded that deep breathing relaxation techniques can have an effect on reducing pain in post-operative kidney stone patients.

Abstract

Nutritional status is one of the factors that plays a role in achieving the quality of healthy, intelligent, productive and independent human resource performance. Factors that influence nutritional status include nutrient intake and physical activity. Guidelines for daily food consumption and the implementation of healthy behavior in Indonesia are in the form of the General Guidelines for Balanced Nutrition (PUGS) and abroad, one of which is the Traffic Light Diet. The Traffic Light diet concept in Australia is used for labeling the nutritional content of packaging at high (red), yellow (medium), green (low) levels. In an effort to improve Healthcare Workers Wellbeing, an innovation was designed that can facilitate the implementation of the selection of types of food and the implementation of physical activity according to PUGS. The purpose of this study is to achieve optimal weight loss and changes in exercise frequency. This study uses a Quasy Experimental design (pre and post test) with variables of body weight (BW), Body Mass Index (BMI), and physical activity. Initial data collection for BW and BMI from October 2022 to December 2022. Implementation of the innovation from February to March 2023. Data were analyzed using SPSS 22 with paired t-test, Wilcoxon and chi square tests. The results of this study were to select 10 Nutritionists with overweight nutritional status to implement the innovation for 8 weeks. The results of the statistical test showed a significant decrease in BB and BMI after the innovation (p 0.000 and 0.005). The results of the statistical analysis with chi square showed that the frequency of exercise was related to weight loss (p 0.033). The conclusion drawn is that innovation helps maintain diet and physical activity so that it is more effective in losing weight. Innovation can be used as a reference source to improve Healthcare Workers Wellbeing in a wider environment.

Abstract

According to WHO, there was a decrease in the rate of exclusive breastfeeding to 67.96% compared to 2021, which was 69.7%, through efforts to provide breast milk as early as possible by carrying out EBF. Early Breastfeeding Initiation (EBF) is the process of skin-to-skin contact between the baby and the mother immediately after the baby is born for at least one hour. EBF initiates the success of mothers and newborns to continue the breastfeeding process with Exclusive Breastfeeding. The proportion of exclusive breastfeeding is 44% greater in mothers who do EBF. The support of health workers is critical in the implementation of EBF. The purpose of the study was to analyze health worker factors in the implementation of EBF in health facilities. The research method was quantitative-observational with a cross-sectional approach. Results: The number of samples based on Accidental Sampling was 45 health workers who were on duty in the delivery room within a period of 1 month. Health workers who implemented EBF according to procedure were 15 people (34.3%) and 30 people who implemented EBF but not according to procedure (66.7%). There was a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.004), attitude (0.000), support from colleagues (p = 0.016), and access to information for health workers with the implementation of EBF according to the procedure. Suggestion: Every healthcare staff needs to refresh every health worker about the correct EBF implementation procedure to improve the competence of health workers in facilitating the implementation of EBF during childbirth in health facilities.
