Abstract

Maternal mortality is still very high every year. One way to reduce the death rate is to increase the knowledge of health workers, in an effort to detect early labor, namely by using a partograph. Remembering that the function of the partograph is to record the results of observations and progress of labor and detect whether the labor process is progressing normally. In this way, early detection can also be carried out for any possibility of prolonged labor. The aim of this research is to provide learning about partographs to students in Semester V of STIKes Salsabila based on their ability to source information, length of study, experience in filling out partographs when assisting with childbirth, applying partographs, and experience in practice. This research is a simple descriptive study, using a sample of 92 fifth semester female students as research objects. The results of the research can be concluded that learning about partography for Semester V female students can be categorized as good. The researcher's advice to female students is to maintain and improve their abilities regarding partography

This scientific work is written based on a case study using a signs and symptoms evaluation instrument developed by the Department of Mental Nursing, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, University of Indonesia. The results of the application of therapeutic writing on the patient showed a decrease in signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior from a score of 12 to a score of 1. De-escalation therapy with therapeutic writing is expected to be applied as an alternative nursing action to reduce signs and symptoms of risk of violent behavior in patients.

Abstract

WHO has recommended mothers to breastfeed their babies until at least six months after birth. The success of this WHO recommendation depends on several factors, and one of these factors is husband's support. From the three journal articles reviewed in this research, husband's support was proven to be very supportive of the success of early initiation of breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. With the husband's support and the husband's presence when breastfeeding mothers are still active to provide breast milk to their babies, premature cessation of breastfeeding can be prevented because breastfeeding mothers feel appreciated for their efforts so far in conceiving, giving birth and breastfeeding their babies. Therefore, husband's support is considered a very significant intervention for successful breastfeeding.

Abstract

Background: To achieve successful hemodialysis, patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) must follow comprehensive treatment including: diet, medication use, fluid restriction and presence of hemodialysis. Previous research has identified that fluid restriction is the most difficult regimen to adherence.Limiting fluid intake is very important done For avoid complications excess fluid Which can cause              interdialytic weight gain (IDWG) and has an impact on cardiovascular complications such as congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema and even death. Apart from complications due to excess fluid, patients are also at risk of experiencing complications from hypertension, anemia, decreased immunity and nervous disorders . This can influence patient perceptions and impact behavior on compliance with hemodialysis therapy regimens . Another thing that can affect compliance is ongoing psychosocial stress due to having to undergoing hemodialysis therapy for a long time, causing a negative impression or attitude towards fluid restriction management. Apart from that, other research stated that the duration of hemodialysis was correlated with non-compliance with fluid restrictions . Based on this phenomena, researchers are interested in analyzing the relationship between length of time undergoing hemodialysis and comorbidities with fluid restrictions in hemodialysis patients.Purpose : This study aims to determine the relationship between duration of hemodialysis treatment and comorbidity with adherence to fluid restrictions in patients hemodialysis. Methods: This study used a cross sectional design with consecutive sampling on 121 respondents. Data collection with demographic sheets and fluid compliance questionnaires. Next, a bivariate analysis was carried out using Chi-Square .Results : The majority of respondents were in the age range 41-60 years namely 82 respondents , the majority of respondents were men As many as 75 respondents , the education level of the respondents showed that most were at the high school level, around 59 respondent , The majority of respondents had undergoing hemodialysis within a period of 1-5 years. Characteristics  respondents other is comorbidity where majority own comorbidity <3 as much as many as 100 respondents.           bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between duration of hemodialysis treatment and adherence to fluid restrictions (p=0.033), however there was no significant relationship between comorbidities and adherence to fluid restrictions (p= 0.560 ) .Conclusion: there is a significant relationship between duration of hemodialysis treatment and adherence to fluid restrictions, but there is no significant relationship between comorbidities and adherence to fluid restrictions. Keywords : End Stage Renal Disease, Hemodialysis , Fluid  adherence, comorbidity, Duration of Hemodialysis Treatment

Abstract

Improper perineal care can lead to postpartum infection. Perineal injury is a wound that resulted from an episiotomy. Traditionally, perineal wound management uses boiled green betel leaf water to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds. This study aims to determine the effect of boiling green betel leaf water on perineal wounds in postpartum mothers at BPM bidan Desy Astuti in tangerang Regency in 2022. This study used a quesi-experimental research design with a two group pretest posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used total sampling. The instrument used was the observation sheet. The bivariate analysis test used the wilcoxon sign rank test. Based on the results of the wilcoxon sign rank test, the pretest group score was 0.001 and the posttest group score was 0.005. Both groups have a p value <0.05, which means that there is a difference in REEDA scores between the intervention group and the control group. Based on the results of the man Whitney test, the value of sig = 0.000 in the variable of perineal wound healing with boiled greed betel leaf water, it can be concluded that “Ha is accepted” (Sig. 0.000 <0.05) This means that there is an effect of giving boiled green betel leaf water on perineal wounds in postpartum mother in BPM midwife Desy astute in Tangerang Regency in 2022. There is a significan effect on the provision of green betel leaf water decoction on pperineal wound healing in post partum mothers.
