Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between anemia in mothers giving birth and prematurity. The research method used a cross sectional approach using secondary data based on medical records of mothers giving birth at the Balaraja health center, which met the inclusion criteria of 735 people. The data is presented in a frequency distribution table and cross table, then the chi squre test is used. The results of this study show that based on maternal characteristics, 78.5% were aged 20-34 years, 68.8% were primiparas, 59.3% had ≥ 4 ANC visits, 8.6% had a high prevalence of moderate anemia, and 8.6% had a severe anemia. as much as 0.5%. The prevalence of prematurity is 7.76%. The relationship between anemia in mothers giving birth and prematurity is statistically significant (p<0.05). Relative risk (RR) of mild anemia with prematurity 1.47; RR of moderate anemia with prematurity 3.45; and RR of severe anemia with prematurity 18. The conclusion of this study is that the relationship between anemia in mothers giving birth and prematurity is statistically significant (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumor that develops from the ovaries and is often found in women aged 50 to 70 years. The prevalence of ovarian cancer in the world in 2020 was 313,959 cases while in Indonesia it was 14,896 cases. Patients treated in the treatment room on the 2nd floor of the Iman Sudjudi pavilion, Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital from February to April were 290 people, 60 of whom had ovarian cancer (21%). The purpose of writing this Scientific Paper is to determine the results of the implementation of nursing care for Mrs. K post Bilateral Hysterectomy Salpingo Oophorectomy (HTSOB) with acute pain nursing problems by taking non-pharmacological actions to fulfill the need for comfort with distraction techniques. This research method is a descriptive method using a case study approach method in patients with stage IIC ovarian cancer post Bilateral Hysterectomy Salpingo Oophorectomy (HTSOB) in the treatment room on the 2nd floor of the dr. Iman Sudjudi Pavilion, Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital. The results of the case study showed that the management of nursing care in post-Hysterectomy Salpingo Oophorectomy Bilateral (HTSOB) patients with acute pain who underwent distraction techniques within a period of 3x24 hours obtained results in a decrease in the intensity of the pain scale before the pain scale was 6 and after it became a pain scale of 2. The resulting nursing evaluation was that the goal was achieved, some problems had not been resolved

Abstract

Spa (solus per aqua) is a treatment or treatmentusingwater as a medium. Baby Spa is a body spa treatment for babiesthatcan bedone in 2 ways, namely, bathing, or swimming and massage. The aim of this study is to describe the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about baby spa in Independent Pactice Midwife Hj. Kokom Komariah Cipondoh Tangerang. The author made observations in independent practice midwife hj. Kokom komariah cipondoh tangerang by conducting oral interviews with 10 mothers who have babies by asking questions about the meaning and benefits of a baby spa, and the results were 7 ofwich were unable to answer the meaning andbenefits of a baby spa. Result shows that the of knowledge about baby spa 15 respondents have less knowledge (50%), 10 respondents (33%) have sufficient knowledge, 5 respondents (17%) have good knowledge and10 respondents (33,3%)have a positive attitude, while 20 respondents have negative attitudes (66,7%). The conclusion shows that the knowledge about baby spa 15respondents have less knowledge (50%) and negative attitudes (66,7%). It is suggested to increase and add research knowledge about the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about baby spa

Abstract

Coughs and colds are upper respiratory tract infections (ARI) which often occur in children under 5 years and can occur 6-9 times a year. Symptoms of a cold cough are excessive mucus production which makes it difficult for children to breathe because toddlers cannot produce their own secretions so it can cause breathing problems andfeel restless so need to be given chest physiotherapy and infrared intervention. The aim of this research is to find outeffectivenessfrom the application of physiotherapy and infrared to clear the airway in toddlers 0-24 months with coughs and colds. This research methodusedescriptive method with a case study approach with research subjects of 5 toddler respondents aged 0-24 months with inclusion criteria. The instruments used include observation sheets and Borg score assessments. The results of this study were that it was able to overcome airway clearance in the respondent's condition after being given intervention twice a day with a duration of 50 minutes for 3 days with sputum output of (60%) and no sputum output of (40%), a decrease in frequency.Respiratory, decreased Borg score, no shortness of breath and baby sleeps more soundly.Conclusion: the application of chest physiotherapy and infrared is effective in overcoming airway clearance problems in toddlers aged 0-24 months with coughs and colds.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factor associated with exclusive breastfeeding at posyandu margamulya, mauk district. This study used a quantitative research design with cross sectional method. The population of this study were mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months. The samping technique used total sampling with a number of respondents 43 people. Data collection tools using questionnaire abd checklists. The results showed that the majority of mothers did not exclusively breastfeed, amounting to 26 mothers (60,5%), based on the age of the majority of mothers aged 20-35 years amounted to 20 mothers (46,5%), based on education, the majority of mothers with low education were 27 mothers (62,8%), based on work, the majority og working mothers are 30 mothers (69,8%), based on parity, the majority of primiparous mothers were 25 mothers (58,1%), based on knowledge the majority of mothers have sufficient knowledge of 20 mothers (46,5%), based on husband’s support, amounting to 23 mothers (53,5%). The results of statistical tests with kai squared of 6 variabels all have a relationship with exclusive breastfeeding. Based on the results of the research, the suggestion put forward is that mothers at the margamulya posyandu are expected to further improve their ability to maintain the health of their babies through exclusive breastfeeding and their husband’s motivation is needed to support the mothers in giving exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Health Center is a technical unit the District Health Office/City held responsible health development in a work area. By national standards work area is a sub-district health centers. Development vision health clinic is organized by the achievement of a healthy district towards the realization of Healthy Indonesia in 2010. To achieve this vision, the organizing efforts of individual health centers and community health efforts. The research problem is still there as much as ± 45 % of patients who complain of dissatisfaction with the district health center services gadung Pulo in East Jakarta . While the purpose of the study was to describe patient satisfaction in an outpatient General Poly Health Center gadung Pulo in East Jakarta District in 2013. Chi-square test results showed that the variables associated with patient satisfaction are age with p value = 0.008, p variable work with value = 0.049 and socioeconomic status variables with p value = 0.010. Results of logistic regression showed that the most dominant factors linked to patient satisfaction are age variable after control with variable socioeconomic status. Her recommendation in this research is to establish the system implementation strategy is appropriate and effective services so as to stimulate employees to improve performance and further services can positively impact the patient satisfaction. Contribute to the development of science in an effort to improve the relevance and equivalence between academic substance with the knowledge and skills especially in the field of administration of health centers/hospitals are in this case related to the development of management science in health centers/hospitals and broaden knowledge in order to develop knowledge public health, especially on the management and development services in health centers

Abstract

Menopause is a period when female reproduction ends due to a reduction in the hormones estrogen and progesterone which is marked by the cessation of menstruation. During menopause, physical and psychological changes occur which cause changes in self-image (body image). This change creates stress in itself for menopausal mothers. If the mother cannot adapt, this stressful condition will cause anxiety. This descriptive correlation research aims to identify the self-image of mothers during menopause, the level of anxiety of mothers during menopause, and the relationship between self-image and the level of anxiety of mothers during menopause. The respondents were 32 menopausal mothers who live in Ciceri Village. The data collection process was carried out by filling out a questionnaire using the interview method. The correlation test used is Pearson's product moment r. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between self-image and maternal anxiety levels during menopause (r = 0.39; p = 0.02) with the interpretation of a moderate relationship. From the results of this study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between self-image and the level of anxiety of mothers during menopause. Therefore, special attention is needed for menopausal mothers, not only on physical problems, but also psychological problems. Health education is needed for menopausal mothers, and so that mothers can accept gracefully that menopause is a natural process that all women will go through, adapting to all conditions that occur during menopause, so that anxiety can be avoided

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the factors that influence mothers in making ANC visits at BPM Hj. Kokom Komariah, Cipondoh Tangerang. The type of research used was an analytical survey research method with a cross sectional design which began in July – August and was carried out on 50 pregnant women respondents, the variable used was a single one, data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the chi square / Chi Square test. The research results showed that ANC visits based on the age of the majority of mothers who were not at risk amounted to 40 mothers, ANC visits based on the parity of the majority of mothers who did not have children and already had one child amounted to 35 mothers, ANC visits based on the education of the majority of mothers who had higher education amounted to 35 mothers, based on occupation, the majority of mothers who work are 35 mothers, based on knowledge, the majority are mothers who have good knowledge, numbering 26 mothers, and based on attitudes, the majority of mothers who have negative attitudes are 28 mothers. From the research results, it can be seen that there are 4 factors that have a relationship with ANC visits, namely Age, Education, Occupation and Attitude, while there are 2 factors that have no relationship with ANC visits, namely Parity and Knowledge.

Abstract

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that is common throughout the world. People with schizophrenia can have difficulty orienting themselves to real life. Schizophrenia is a category of serious mental disorders that impact an individual's ability to feel, think and even behave, characterized by hallucinations, delusions and disturbances in thoughts, perceptions and behavior. Hallucinations are wrong perceptions about objects or events involving the five senses such as sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. Hallucinations have an impact that can make a person lose self-control, feel afraid, suspicious, feel insecure, anxious, confused, self-destructive, lack of attention, unable to make decisions. The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the application of generalist nursing interventions to patients with hallucinations through the application of distraction drawing activities to Mrs. N with hallucinatory nursing problems. The intervention was carried out on September 25-October 5 2023. The level of hallucination intensity was measured using the Psyrats instrument. The results showed that there was a decrease in the intensity level of hallucinations experienced from 31 to 1. This research proves that the application of generalist intervention with a distraction approach to drawing activities for the patient Mrs. N with hallucinatory nursing problems has been proven to reduce the intensity of hallucinations and signs of hallucinatory symptoms, as well as increasing the ability to control hallucinations.

Abstract

Earthquakes are disasters that tend to occur in Indonesia, these incidents are influenced by two factors, namely the geological location of Indonesia which is at the meeting of 3 large lithospheric plates consisting of the Eurasian, Pacific, and Indo-Australian plates, and the second factor is that the Indonesian region is formed from a combination of various micro continental plates and volcanic arcs where this gives rise to various types of faults that are spread across various regions of Indonesia (Rusdi et al., 2022). Immediate handling of earthquake disaster victims is the right of every individual to obtain social, economic, and health protection. Earthquake disaster management is a series of activities carried out to control disaster situations and prepare a framework to help people affected by disasters. This study aims to determine the Management of the Cianjur Earthquake Disaster Management Team. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. The results of this study prove that earthquake survivors in the village of Kampung Wangun Bone, Cianjur, West Java, as many as 61 people have been handled in terms of health problems. The conclusion obtained is that the management of the Cianjur Earthquake Disaster Management Team successfully handled 61 earthquake survivors in Bone Village, Cianjur, West Java.
