This study uses a type of observational analytic research. The research method used is cross sectional. The population used in this study were women giving birth normally at the Cimone Health Center, totaling 56 people in October 2020. This research used an accidental sampling technique. The results of a statistical study using chi-square showed that the variables of knowledge and family support were related to the administration of colostrum to newborns with a p-value of (0.001 < α (0.05) and (0.004 < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that mothers with good knowledge have a greater chance of giving colostrum than mothers with less knowledge, and mothers with family support have a greater chance of giving colostrum than mothers with unsupportive family support

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, nutritional status and eating frequency with anemia in young women at the Bhakti Pertiwi Indonesia STIKes. This research is an analytic survey type with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all female students of STIKes Bhakti Pertiwi Indonesia, totaling 414 people. Samples were taken as many as 126 respondents, sampling technique with Proportional Random Sampling. Data collection was carried out with primary data using a questionnaire. Data analysis with univariate, bivariate, multivariate. The results of the study showed that 38.9% of respondents experienced anemia. The results of univariate analysis obtained high knowledge (81.0%), positive attitude (50.8%), normal nutritional status (BMI 18.5 - <25.0) of 81.7% and frequency of eating ≥3 times/day ( 55.6%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there were four related variables, namely knowledge (p=0.016; OR=3.333), attitude (p=0.049; OR=2.220), nutritional status (p=0.031; OR=3.022), eating frequency (p=0.000; OR=35,282). The results of multivariate analysis showed that factors related to anemia in female adolescents were eating frequency (p=0.000; OR=38.479) while knowledge was the confounding variable. The dominant factor associated with anemia in female adolescents is eating frequency. Eating frequency is a variable associated with anemia in female adolescents. It is suggested to Midwifery student Salsabila Serang to increase the frequency of regular meals 3 times/day with a balanced nutrition menu that is high in iron (Fe).

Abstract

Background: Patients with End Satge Renal Disease (ESRD) should undergoing  hemodialysis therapy for excess fluid, solutes and toxins. To achieve hemodialysis success, there are four factors including diet, drug use, fluid intake restriction and the presence of hemodialysis. Limiting fluid intake is important for hemodialysis patients because excess fluid can cause interdialytic weight gain (IDGW) which will have an impact on cardiovascular complications such as congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema and death. However, meeting fluid requirements becomes a problem for HD patients and it is estimated that 30-70% of patients fail to meet fluid requirements. One of the interventions to improve fluid readiness is to increase patient knowledge about fluids.Purpose: This literature review aims to determine and review the results of research on the effectiveness of telenursing on fluid adherence in hemodialysis patients. Methods: This research is a literature review with a narrative method to explore research results by searching several database including ebcohost, scopus, proquest and sciendirect with keyword: hemodialysis, telenursing, tele education, nurse led telephone follow ups, tele-health, face to face education, education program, education based on behavior, adherence to fluid intake restriction and compliance to fluid intake restriction. The search for these journals is limited in the period from 2012 to 2021, with filters for full text, journals, English language and journals according to the topic which is then carried out critically in each journal to produce research conclusions. Results: It was found that telenursing was effective in adjusting use in hemodialysis patients, reducing depression, anxiety and stress in hemodialysis patients. In addition, the provision of direct or face-to-face education programs can also increase knowledge and adherence to direct contact with fluids, but in the results it is recommended to follow up with telephone or use telenursing to improve care and can reduce self-care of HD patients remotely. Conclusion: Based on the results based on a systematic basis, it was found that the use of telenursing education can increase adherence to knowledge and fluid compliance of hemodialysis patients and can reduce depression, anxiety and stress.Keyword: Tele nursing education, ESRD, Fluid Restriction, Hemodialysis

Abstract

The community considers that reproductive health is still taboo to be discussed by teenagers, in Jakarta there are still many children who have low knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship to vulva hygiene behavior in adolescents during menstruation in young women. This study used a cross-sectional design with a total of 275 female students who had experienced menstruation using a stratified random sampling technique. Results Data analysis used univariate, bivariate analysis using the chi square test and multivariate with multiple logistic regression tests to determine the dominant factor associated with vulva hygiene behavior during menstruation. The results showed that female adolescents performed vulva hygiene incorrectly as much as 62.%, and the dominant variable on vulva hygiene behavior in female adolescents during menstruation was attitudes towards vulva hygiene with an OR = 2,820 meaning that female adolescents with a positive attitude were 3 times more likely to perform vulva hygiene in comparison with young women who have a negative attitude. After being controlled by the variable exposed to media information about vulva hygiene. Efforts to further improve the attitude of adolescents towards vulva hygiene behavior during menstruation through increased knowledge about proper reproductive health. By inviting health practitioners from the local health center in order to increase knowledge and provide awareness of the students in terms of vulva hygiene behavior.

This study aims to identify the relationship between the level of activity independence and the anxiety level of the elderly. The method used in this study uses correlation analysis with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study used all inmates who were at the Budi Mulia 3 Social Institution, taking samples using a purposive sampling technique that met the inclusion criteria. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that out of 50 respondents, 15 respondents were independent in fulfilling needs and 35 respondents experienced dependence, while the level of anxiety of 50 respondents, 28 respondents experienced mild anxiety, 19 respondents experienced moderate anxiety and 3 experienced severe anxiety. Based on the results of the statistical correlation test, it was found that there was a relationship between the level of independence in carrying out activities and the level of anxiety in the elderly.
