Abstract

Breastfeeding is recommended because of its many benefits for both mother and baby. For mothers who have limitations breastfeeding, breastfeeding is difficult to do but also not impossible to do. The purpose of this study is to identify breastfeeding techniques used by mothers who have physical limitations based on existing literature. Literature search methods were conducted on scientific sites such as ScienceDirect, Pubmed, Elsiver, NCBI, DOAJ, Proquest, Microsoft Academic, Sage Journal, Oxford Academic, LIPI, ResearceGate, JSTOR and Scrib.id using the keywords breastfeeding and disability.  The search results obtained 234 articles but only 7 articles were used and described breastfeeding techniques for mothers with disabilities and other articles that were eliminated were not used because they did not describe breastfeeding techniques for mothers with disabilities. This article presents a literature review on breastfeeding techniques in mothers with disabilities. Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to provide nutrition to babies, but mothers with disabilities often face additional challenges that can affect their ability to breastfeed effectively. In this article, various relevant studies and research are analyzed to identify the challenges, needs, as well as solutions that have been developed to support mothers with disabilities in the breastfeeding process. The main focus of this review is on specific techniques that can make it easier for mothers with physical or cognitive disabilities to breastfeed, including the use of assistive devices, modification of breastfeeding positions, and the role of social and medical support. These findings demonstrate the importance of an inclusive and personalized approach to providing support to mothers with disabilities, as well as the need for more responsive health policies to ensure equal access to maternal health services. This article also underlines the need for further research to develop practical guidelines that can be applied in a variety of contexts.

Abstract

According to WHO, 77% of all deaths from NCDs and 85% of premature deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries. The main challenge in preventing and controlling NCDs is that the main drivers and risk factors including poverty, air pollution, lack of physical activity, and the marketing and sale of tobacco, alcohol, and processed foods are all outside the scope of control of government health departments or national health systems. The responsibility to address these underlying determinants lies with various government sectors and departments, such as education, labor, transportation, trade, finance, environment, agriculture, and manufacturing. NCDs in women have major implications, various complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum in mothers with NCDs trigger higher mortality and morbidity in mothers and children. This shows the need to initiate a program that integrates various parties in efforts to overcome NCDs in the community in the form of "ONE-FOUR". This program is called "ONE-FOUR" because it combines the roles of 4 elements, namely lecturers, students, cadres, and midwives to assist mothers or women of reproductive age with NCDs. Through intensive assistance from various components, it is expected to reduce complications of NCDs which ultimately have an impact on reducing maternal and child mortality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the ONE FOUR programs on increasing knowledge and attitudes of reproductive-age mothers with NCDs. Method: Data analysis used dependent t-test aka paired t-test. Conclusion: knowledge score test value Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05. In the Attitude test value Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 it can be concluded that the application of the ONE-FOUR method in women of childbearing age is effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes about NCDs.

Abstract

This study addresses the crucial role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the head in detecting disorders of the trigeminal nerve, particularly trigeminal neuralgia. Trigeminal neuralgia can significantly affect quality of life and is commonly observed in the elderly. However, some hospitals face limitations due to the absence of image fusion features in their MRI modalities, highlighting the need for practical alternative solutions. This study proposes the development of a MATLAB-based image fusion application as a practical alternative. The use of this application is expected to enhance visualization of the trigeminal nerve and surrounding blood vessels, particularly in hospitals whose MRI devices lack integrated image fusion capabilities. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative analysis to describe the implementation process of image fusion using MATLAB, and quantitative analysis to compare the results with those from built-in fusion software on MRI machines. This study successfully implemented image fusion techniques using MATLAB on raw data obtained from CISS 3D and 3D TOF sequences, with a focus on visualizing the trigeminal nerve. The comparison between the fused images generated using MATLAB and those produced by the MRI system's built-in fusion software revealed significant differences. The MATLAB-based image fusion technique demonstrated a substantial contribution to improved understanding and diagnosis in medical practice, particularly in merging images from different MRI modalities. Thus, MATLAB-based fusion can be considered a relevant and progressive solution, especially for hospitals lacking access to advanced fusion technology.

Abstract

Maximum loads due to physical exercise cause a decrease in antibody production and a decrease in leukocyte function in general. Many studies have been conducted on the effects of physical exercise, including Zumba, on CRP levels and peripheral blood parameters, but the research results have yielded different conclusions. This study aimed to find out the effect of regular and irregular Zumba exercises on CRP concentration and peripheral blood examination parameters. This experimental study used a pre-test and post-test design. There were 30 females aged 18-40 years who were divided into 2 training groups. Group I Zumba training 5x/week and group II Zumba training 1x/week. Both groups had to practice 60 minutes/session for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks of intervention, there was no significant correlation of CRP concentration (p=0,100). There were significant differences in Hb concentration (p=0.035), leukocyte count (p=0.001), erythrocyte count (p=0.001), and platelet count (p=0.018) in both groups. There was no significant effect of RZ and IZ exercise on CRP concentration and leukocyte differential count. But there were significant differences in changes in Hb concentration, leukocyte count, erythrocyte count, and platelet count, after regular and irregular Zumba exercise.

Abstract

Tumor is basically an uncontrolled growth of cancerous cells in any part of the body, whereas a brain tumor is an uncontrolled growth of cancerous cells in the brain. Useing of MRI in diagnose tumors can be done with various sequences. Contrast medium is needed to evince tumor enhancement, as well as sequences that support to produce tumor in post contrast, one of which uses a conventional sequence T1WI SE. This sequences often lose information in providing images in cases of brain tumors and generally more time consuming. FSPGR BRAVO is a 3D volumetric acquisition that captures thin section images with near isotropic or isotropic spatial resolution. This sequence displays anatomy, especially brain parenchymal anatomy, in fine detail. The type of research in this mini research is a qualitative study with an observational approach which aims to find out sequences that can optimize post-MRI images in contrast to brain tumor cases with a short time and get the right diagnosis. Convensional sequence of MRI TIWI SE can’t detection of lessions in cerebral cortex. FSPGR BRAVO in producing images in 3D format in one-time retrieval of one particular piece and able to display anatomy especially the anatomy of the brain parenchyma in fine detail. FSPGR BRAVO can be used to assist cause to be uprise the diagnosis of MRI brain tumor by displaying the anatomy of the brain parenchyma in more fine detail, without the need for extended time.
