Abstract

Salah satu destinasi alam yang terdapat di Jawa Barat adalah Taman Wisata Alam Orchid Forest Cikole Lembang. Orchid Forest , perlu mengetahui mengenai faktor apa saja yang menjadi daya tarik wisatanya dan apa yang membuat keputusan berkunjung wisatawan dalam mengunjungi suatu destinasi wisata, khususnya wisata alam seperti Orchid Forest. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh electronic word of mouth, product dan brand terhadap keputusan berkunjung di Orchid Forest. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai bahan pengumpulan data, yang dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS 24. Teknik pengumpulan sampel dengan nonprobability sampling dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 100 responden dari pengunjung Orchid Forest. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Terdapat dua variabel dalam penelitian ini, yaitu variabel independen dan dependen. Variabel independen meliputi electronic word of mouth, product dan brand. Sedangkan yang bertindak sebagai variabel dependen yaitu keputusan berkunjung. Hasil uji t (Parsial) menunjukkan bahwa variabel electronic word of mouth dan product berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung, sementara variabel brand tidak berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap keputusan berkunjung. Secara simultan variabel electronic word of mouth, product dan brand berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyzed the effect of Total Quality Management (TQM) on managerial performance and the reward system as the moderating variable that may affect the relationship of Total Quality Management (TQM) on managerial performance. The type of this research is associative. Respondents consisting of managers and staff with the lowest level of supervisor in the entire supermarket in Mataram, as many as 66 respondents. Sampling technique is census. Using simple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as analysis. The results showed that TQM significantly influence the performance of managerial and the reward system doesn’t influence the relationship of TQM on managerial performance

Abstract

This study examines the improvement of student speaking skill through content-based students’ English speaking skill. More specificly, this study : (1) finding to what extent content-based instruction improved the students’ speaking skill; and (2) to describe the teaching and learning situation when content-based instruction was applied in the speaking class. This study applied action research technique to conduct the research which is consisted of two cycles, with four meetings in each cycle; while each cycle consists planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at Poltekpar Lombok Praya; the subjects of the research were the university students of second grade in the Academic year of 2018-2019. This study reveals that the teaching using CBI was effective in two aspects: (1) in improving students’ speaking ability: students’ speaking level increased; students could answer the teacher’s questions; students could fluently communicate with their friends by using correct grammatical forms and appropriate vocabulary with good pronunciation; the use of mother tongue was reduced; (2) in improving class situation: the atmosphere in the whole class became alive; students enjoyed the speaking activities; there were many chances for students to practice their speaking skill; students had great motivation to learn speaking; speaking became easy and fun to the students. This study futher showed that CBI was effective and beneficial to improve the students’ speaking competency and the classroom situation.

Abstract

The emergence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) has caused countries around the world including Indonesia to experience problems in various aspects of life because the virus can attack anyone of any age (elderly, adult, children, infants, or pregnant women). The presence of this virus creates a new habit that gives rise to the term new normal with health protocols (wearing masks, keeping distance, and washing hands with soap in running water). Many people, santriwan and santriwati children have not implemented health protocols. The purpose of the service is to provide an understanding of the importance of applying Covid-19 health protocols to santriwan and santriwati TPA Baitul Jamaah Batu Kuwur Mosque to prevent transmission to others. The stage in this devotion began from communication conducted with ustadz who taught at the TPA Masjid Baitul Jamaah Batu Kuwur, asking permission to conduct observation and socialization. The next stage is observation, identifying problems by observing during landfill activities. The last stage is socialization, providing an understanding of the importance of state defense efforts through the application of health protocols. The results of the service showed that santriwan and santriwati did not implement health protocols during landfill activities because of their incomprehension about Covid-19. The socialization made Santriwan and santriwati's understanding increase in the implementation of Covid-19 health protocols.

Abstract

The problems were focused on the following, they are: 1) the main effect of scientific approach combined with ERRQ strategy on the eighth graders’ reading competency, 2) the differences of the effect of scientific approach combined with ERRQ strategy viewed from text types on the eighth graders students’ reading competency. The research methods were the following. The population included students at SMP Santo Yoseph Denpasar. The sample were recruited from the eighth grade of SMP Santo Yoseph Denpasar. They were recruited using a Random Sampling. Data were collected by means a Posttest. The obtained data were analyzed by means of One-Way ANOVA. The results show the following: 1) there is a significant effect of scientific approach combined with ERRQ strategy on the students’ reading competency which total mean score (X: 77.27) (λ: 0.01); 2) The differences of the effect of scientific approach combined with ERRQ strategy viewed from text types on the students’ reading competency could be arranged consecutively as follows: narrative text (X76.47), recount text (X:78.78), descriptive text (X: 76.83).

Abstract

Gunung Suku Village has a natural, social cultural appeal that is very diverse and potentially become a tourist attraction, but this potential tourism has not been developed well and maximal to becomes a tourist destination. This study aims to formulate effective strategies for the development of agrotourism in Gunung Suku Village. This study uses qualitative methods, data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Purposive sampling used in this study for determination of sample, Data analysis in this study used qualitative descriptive approach, IFAS, EFAS and SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate the potential of coffee plantation areas has not been developed, due to the lack of human resources, accessibility, facilities and infrastructure of tourism activities and the weak role of local government. The general strategy is in quadrant II, namely the development strategy of attractiveness. Alternative strategies (1) SO strategies (a) Strategies for developing potential to the fullest, (b) Strategies for developing marketing and promoting tourist attraction, (c) Development strategies for making tour packages. (2) ST Strategy (a) Community-based agrotourism development strategy, (b) Development Strategy by highlighting different potentials from other regions. (3) WO Strategy (a) HR development strategies especially in the field of tourism, (b) Accessibility development strategies, (c) Strategies to develop places to stay, eat drinks and gift shops. (4) WT Strategy (a) Increasing Public Awareness to conserve and preserve local culture, as well as the emergence of many competitors, (b) Increase cooperation with all stakeholders, (c) Improve the development of human recources in the tourms sector. Agrotourism development requires cooperation with all stakeholders in order to improve the qualityof human resources, accessibility, facilities and institutions, so that it has a direct impact on the income of the villagers of Gunung Suku Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Mataram Square Hotel Kota Mataram Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan populasi pelanggan hotel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan kualitas layanan, kepuasan pelanggan, dan loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel; (2) Menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel; (3) Menganalisis pengaruh dominan diantara kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 120 pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel, serta kepuasan pelanggan mempunyai pengaruh dominan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Mataram Square Hotel

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this research are to 1). Knowing the effect of working capital on labor absorption 2). Knowing the effect of wages on labor absorption 3). Knowing the effect of technology on labor absorption 4). Knowing the effect of working capital, wage value and technology simultaneously on the absorption of labor in the agel fiber handicraft industry in Salamrejo Village, Sentolo District, Kulon Progo. This type of research is Expost Facto research. This research is causal associative because it looks for the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. The population in this study were all agel fiber handicraft entrepreneurs in the village of Salamrejo, which according to the head of the development division in the village of Salamrejo were 30 entrepreneurs. The data collection methods used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between working capital on labor absorption. There is a positive and significant influence between the value of wages on labor absorption. There is a positive and significant influence between technology on labor absorption. There is a positive and significant influence between working capital, wages and technology simultaneously on labor absorption in Salamrejo Village in December 2019.

Abstract

Kebijakan terkait online learning yang kemudian serempak digunakan sebagai sistem pembelajaran bukannya muncul tanpa permasalahan. Imbasnya, bagi negara yang kurang siap dengan sistem ini, sudah tentu menghadapi banyak masalah terlebih bagi Tenaga pengajar dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini, mencoba mendalami permasalahan yang berpotensi menghambat pemahaman siswa selama belajar secara online, dimana, hal ini berarti bahwa peneliti hanya akan focus pada hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran baik internal siswa maupun eksternal dari guru dan orang tua bukan hal-hal teknis seperti kendala jaringan, tidak ada kuota dan hal terkait lainnya. Subject dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa tingkat SMP di Penan, Pejarakan, Ampenan. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif ini, didalam prosesnya menggunakan metode Observasi dan Wawancara sebagai cara utama untuk mendapatkan data dimana hasil penelitian ini mengklasifikasi permasalahan utama yang muncul menjadi 3 bagian yakni; 1) Adanya keterlambatan dari subject dalam mengikuti kegiatan kelas daring, 2) Adanya kecenderungan tidak serius mengikuti kegiatan belajar dengan melakukan kegiatan lain seperti bermain game, menonton TV dan kegiatan lain serta 3) kurang maksimalnya waktu dan kemampuan pendamping selama proses belajar baik karna tidak memiliki pemahaman yang cukup terkait materi maupun adanya kegiatan lain atau pekerjaan yang harus dijalani.

Abstract

Tidak mudahnya menguasai bahasa Inggris oleh para siswa karna keterbatasan penjelasan dan pendampingan langsung yang mumpuni selama kelas daring merupakan sebuah masalah yang perlu ditangani. Salah satu solusi dari hal tersebut adalah dengan memberikan pendampingan intensif dan reguler secara langsung (face to face) baik untuk menjelaskan materi secara utuh maupun penjelasan terkait maksud dari tugas yang mereka dapatkan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh 3 tutor bahasa Inggris dalam kurun waktu 4 bulan. Kegiatan berlangsung dalam beberapa skema utama yakni; 1) Pembahasan maksud soal, 2) Penjelasan materi terkait tugas secara utuh, 3) Penerapan Game , 4) pemberian soal-soal latihan dan 5) pengerjaan tugas sekolah. Dari hasil pendampingan ini, kami mendapati adanya antusiasme yang sangat baik dari pihak orang tua terlebih para peserta yang merasa mendapatkan pemahaman lebih baik terkait materi. Namun beberapa kendala yang juga kami hadapi adalah terkait durasi waktu mengajar yang menjadi lebih panjang dari yang sebenarnya kami rencanakan.
