Abstract

TRIP stands for the Army of the Republic of Indonesia Student. The emergence of the East Java TRIP, which was originally an activity spearheaded by a group of students in the Surabaya area who had an interest in Indonesian independence and had a desire to fight for independence at that time. So that the students form a student struggle organization that is often known as TRIP, the organization was formed during the era of the independence war in 1946 in the Surabaya area. together with the formation of East Java TRIP Battalions in Mojokerto, Kediri, Besuki and Malang after the East Java Student Congress was held in the city of Malang in East Java, the result of the congress was the election of mas Isman as chairman or leader of the Student People's Security Row in Surabaya Java Timur on October 25, 1945. (History, Republic, Student, Year, & Suryadi, 2018). After TRIP in East Java was formed in the Surabaya area on September 21, 1945, the student fighters formed a Battalion consisting of 5 Battalions including; Battalion 5000 at Malang Residency, 1000 Battalion in Jetis, Mojokerto area. 3000 Battalion at Kediri Residency, 4000 Battalion at Besuki Residency (Jember, Situbondo, Bondowoso, Banyuwangi) and 2000 Battalion at Madiun Residency. Abstract

Jabung Temple is a historical heritage temple from Majapahit Kingdom in Probolinggo Regency, which is located in Jabung Candi Village, this temple heritage site is still not maximally used in history learning. this study aims to determine the value of education contained in the temple jabung so that it can help in class learning for students. This study is an analytical / descriptive study of the value of education contained in jabung temples. The research site is the jabung candi village in Paiton sub-district where the temple of jabung stands. The research method is by step 1. heuristics (data collection) through the stages of observation, document study, and interviews 2. Criticism of sources 3. Interpretation through qualitative descriptive and 4. Historiography. The study studied was the value of education contained in the temple in its use in historical learning. Candi Jabung was visited by Maha Raja Hayam Wuruk when traveling east of Java. The journey carried out by the king was followed by the leadership, minister, family and Maha Patih gajah Mada by leading the troops of the parade, the journey also aimed at seeing and uniting the territory of the Majapahit kingdom in the eastern Java region. When you get to Paiton, you can use it as a learning resource in the classroom and as a tangible proof of historical heritage around students. The conclusion is of course there is an educational value contained in this jabung temple in learning history.

Abstract

Abstract Prabumulih's toponym history is a source of the past from the origin of the name of the place to identity for the people who live in Prabumulih, which is a cultural outcome between local communities through history. The problem of this research is to find out how the history of the toponym of Prabumulih city can be used as a source of historical learning?. This study aims to determine the historical toponym values ​​of Prabumulih which can be used as a source of historical learning. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it can be concluded that Prabumulih's toponym history has an important role for the school and for the community because it is a cultural outcome of community leaders who contain educational values ​​and historical values. Then the values ​​contained in Prabumulih's toponym history as a source of historical learning are historical values, social and cultural values, political values ​​and educational values. Which can be applied to Indonesian history subjects in class X at Prabumulih's Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 school, namely local history. Keywords: Prabumulih Toponym, History Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kulturisasi ajaran Islam melalui sistem dan lembaga pendidikan Islam di tengah-tengah masyarakat pada masa kesultanan Islam di Nusantara. Proses kulturisasi ajaran Islam terhadap masyarakat di Nusantara sudah terjadi sejak awal masuknya Islam ke bumi Nusantara dengan sistem edukasi dakwah dan halaqah-halaqah yang dilakukan oleh para mubaligh, selanjutnya setelah proses islamisasi berkembang ke seluruh Nusantara dan terbentuknya institusi politik kesultanan Islam di Nusantara, proses kulturisasi dengan sistem halaqah masih dilakukan melalui lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang berkembang saat itu. Adapun lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang dimaksud adalah lembaga pendidikan masjid yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah kesultanan Islam di Nusantara dan di pemukiman-pemukiman penduduk, lembaga pendidikan meunasah, rangkang, dan dayah di Aceh, lembaga pendidikan surau di Minangkabau dan daerah lainnya, lembaga pendidikan langgar di kalimantan, dan lembaga pondok pesantren di Jawa. Pada lembaga-lembaga pendidikan ini proses pendidikan ini berlangsung dan salah satu sistem pendidikan awal Islam di Nusantara yang masih dijalankan adalah metode halaqah. Melalui lembaga-lembaga pendidikan ini berlangsung proses kristalisasi dan kulturisasi ajaran Islam, baik terhadap para murid maupun pada masyarakat yang mengikuti halaqah-halaqah yang dibuka umum untuk masyarakat luas.

Abstract

Traditional elites are nobles who have a very important role in society. They are highly respected in social life. These traditional elites usually have better knowledge and have better education than ordinary people. In addition, traditional elites are also very vital in land ownership. Some of the land in the Surulangun area belongs to local nobles and indigenous people as managers. Life in Surulangun was also very promising because of the life of activities around the Rawas river which became the meeting point of other traders around the Rawas river. In addition to having the Rawas river which is the lifeblood of trade in Surulangun, this area is also very strategic because it borders the Jambi area. For crops, the Surulangun area is also very large, this is the spirit of the Dutch nation along the Musi and Rawas rivers to get to Surulangun. After taking power in Surulangun, the Netherlands made this area an area of the capital of Onder Afdeling Rawas. The Dutch colonial nation held many friendships with traditional elites to support its government. In the form of Dutch cooperation with these traditional elites by promising better assets and positions, many traditional elites were interested in cooperating. On the other hand, the Netherlands wants a traditional elite as a liaison between the Netherlands and the indigenous people to manage mining and plantations in Surulangun. So that the Dutch Colonial nation became very advanced and developed rapidly after making Surulangun as one of the contributors of wealth to Dutch Colonial.

Abstract

Duplang site as a study of local history that teaches field learning or observation of the field. This is done so that in learning students can learn directly about the historic site. In its implementation it is done by observation and the results of the study consist of papers or the like with the intention of students to deepen the learning that he gets. In addition, students agree directly or indirectly to support and more than that to be able to preserve the cultural heritage. The teacher's job is as a facilitator in implementing practices that discuss this local history. In learning local history can help with three forms namely classroom learning, direct observation and in-depth research. The students in this case obtain direct knowledge from the teacher about oral originating from the teacher obtained and then observe directly to be able to deepen and have a direct collection of the historical object. The use of information and communication technology in the context of history becomes a renewal with the teacher who utilizes interactive multimedia in the evaluation process can attract the attention of students and students who can take these historical values. The main purpose of learning local history is to take the values ​​intended for future life and to be able to attract the attention of students to be able to contribute in supporting and preserving the cultural heritage.

Abstract

Traditions that run in society contain norms and values that become part of a group of nations and their supporters. The socialization activities were held for the sake of appreciation of the tradition by each of the supporting communities. One element of tradition in a culture is belief in the form of religion and symbols in it. Samin can be said to be a form of community that is still developing in Java, especially in East Java and Central Java. One of them is the Samin community which is still developing until now in the Japanese Hamlet, Margomulyo Village, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency. This study raised the existence of the tradition of the Samin Bojonegoro community in this modern era. This is expected to add insight to the readers and especially the local Bojonegoro community to respect and preserve the traditions of their ancestors and not forget the local identity of the region. This study uses historical methods that have heuristic stages, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. This is because this research is related to the object to be studied, namely in the form of history and traditions that exist in the community which can only be explained through descriptions. This research is closely related to the process of collecting primary and secondary data. Primary sources are used in the form of documents, literature studies, observations and interviews with traditional leaders, organizers, and communities directly related. In addition, secondary sources are used in the form of previous research and literature. This research resulted in the existence of the tradition of the Samin community in the Bojonegoro region in this modern era. Keywords: Existensi, Tradition, Samin, Bojonegoro.

Abstract

The relationship between Srivijaya and foreign countries has long been established from China, India, Persia and also Arabia. The relationship between Srivijaya and Arabic precisely with the Umayyad dynasty has been well established so that the relationship has a positive impact on the process of entering Islam in Palembang in the 8th century AD. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Srivijaya and the Umayyad dynasty in various aspects and to analyze the impact of the relationship on the process of entering Islam in Palembang. The method used in this study is the historical method carried out with several steps starting from heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. Data collection techniques use heuristics and verification. Data analysis techniques use historical interpretations with the help of other fields of scientific approach. The relationship between Srivijaya and the Umayyad dynasty had occurred in the 8th century AD, where the relations between the two rulers continued very well so that the sending of letters from Srivijaya to the Umayyans, during the reign of Umar bin Abdul Aziz, was up to twice recorded in the shipment. In this connection there is certainly a mutually beneficial cooperative relationship in the political and economic fields. In the economic aspects of Muslim traders who came to the center of Srivijaya in Palembang indirectly had a positive effect on the spread of Islam, especially in Palembang. Muslim traders came and went to Palembang to trade with Srivijaya.

Abstract

This is study aims to determine the use of the Inside Outside Circle model of the learning outcomes of Indonesian history in Sriwijaya kingdom material. The research method used is a quantitative method, with a pure experimental approach. The designed of this study is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The type of research instrument used was a multiple choice test consisting of 35 questions. Technique for analyzing the data used quantitative techniques. The population in this study were all X grade students in academic year 2018/2019. And sample of the data taken in X grade students at AKL 1 as the experimental and X OTP 2 as the control. The experimental class was treated using the Inside Outside Circle model on the Sriwijaya Kingdom learning material and the control class was not treated inside the circle learning model. Based on the analysis of the use of research hypotheses, the results of this study conclude there is an influence of the Inside Outside Circle learning model on the learning outcomes of Indonesian history on Sriwijaya kingdom material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Inquiry learning model on social studies learning outcomes of Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is a quantitative research method using a quasi-experimental approach. The population is all students of class VII in 2018/2019 consisting of 3 classes totaling 79 and as a sample are class VII 1, amounting to 25 students. The data collection technique used was a multiple choice test technique of 28. problem. Based on the t-test analysis, it was concluded that the Inqury learning model was effective against social studies learning outcomes.
