Abstract

This study aims to analyze population administration service policies in Palembang City through a monitoring and evaluation approach, focusing on shifting functions and obstacles faced in their implementation. Population administration is a very important basic service for the community, which includes the recording of personal data such as birth certificates, family cards, and ID cards, as the main foundation in various aspects of citizens' lives. The quality of this service reflects good and accountable governance, where the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) plays a central role in ensuring the effectiveness and transparency of services. In this context, public policy monitoring and evaluation are essential instruments to identify various operational constraints and design improvement solutions, as well as to assess the extent to which the shift in service functions towards digitalization and other innovations can be optimally accommodated. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, analyzing policy implementation, the role of actors, success indicators, and their impact on service quality and public trust levels. The results of the study show that, although various technological innovations have been implemented, such as online systems and the use of digital devices, obstacles such as limited internet access, low digital literacy, and coordination challenges between agencies are still the main obstacles in accelerating the shift in service functions. This study recommends strategies for increasing human resource capacity, strengthening technological infrastructure, and continuous monitoring and evaluation so that policy implementation can run more effectively, equitable, and responsive to community needs. Thus, it is hoped that population administration services in Palembang City can further increase public satisfaction, trust, and support more efficient and accountable governance.

Abstract

The development of the creative industry in the digital era encourages media companies to have human resource capable of delivering optimal performance in a dynamic and competitive work environment. Podcast Somestory, as a media company engaged in podcast and TikTok content production, requires employees who possess competence, work motivation, and adequate job training to support the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of employee competence, work motivation, and on the job training on employee performance at Podcast Somestory. This study employed a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 78 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 31. The results showed partially, employee competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of <0,001. Meanwhile, work motivation and on the job training did not have a significant effect on employee performance, with significance values of 0,674 and 0,554, respectively. However, simultaneously, employee competence, work motivation, and on the job training had a significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that employee competence is the most dominant factor in improving employee performance in the creative industry, particularly at Podcast Somestory .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants of stock investment decisions among undergraduate students in Indonesia, with risk tolerance serving as a mediating variable. Despite the exponential growth of young investors reaching 20.32 million Single Investor Identification (SID) by 2025, with more than 52% under the age of 30 the quality of investment decision-making among this cohort remains underexplored, particularly with respect to the psychological mechanisms that bridge cognitive and social influences. Using a quantitative associative-causal design, data were collected from 141 active undergraduate students who hold verified securities accounts and actively trade stocks, selected through purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed for analysis. The findings reveal that financial literacy exerts a strong direct positive effect on stock investment decisions and on risk tolerance. Peer influence demonstrates no direct effect on investment decisionS, but exerts a significant indirect effect fully mediated by risk tolerance (full mediation). Risk tolerance itself is a significant determinant of investment decisions, and partially mediates the relationship between financial literacy and investment decisions (complementary mediation). These results confirm that investment decisions among students are the product of a complex integration of cognitive, social, and psychological factors. The study contributes theoretically by integrating Theory of Planned Behavior, Financial Socialization Theory, and Prospect Theory into a unified behavioral finance model for young investors.

Abstract

The rapid growth of financial digitalization has fostered "payment decoupling," a psychological gap between purchasing and actual spending that diminishes financial awareness and encourages impulsive consumption among university students. This research investigates how the frequency of digital transactions and e-wallet promotional incentives influence students' personal financial management, utilizing the framework of Mental Accounting theory. This study adopts a quantitative causal-associative design, analyzing data from 100–150 university students selected via purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression was employed to evaluate the relationship between the variables. The analysis reveals that transaction intensity and promotional stimuli collectively exert a significant impact on financial behavior, where the convenience of digital platforms often undermines effective spending self-regulation. These results highlight the critical necessity for improved digital financial literacy to assist students in mitigating the risks of excessive consumption driven by high-frequency digital access and aggressive marketing tactics.

Abstract

This study examines how Big Data Analytics Capabilities (BDAC) enhance sustainable performance and competitive advantage among batik MSMEs in Central Java. Grounded in the Resource-Based View (RBV), the research explores the mediating roles of Supply Chain Management Capabilities (SCMC), Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM), and Circular Economy Practices (CEP). Using a quantitative explanatory approach, survey data were collected from 150 batik MSME owners and managers and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings reveal that BDAC significantly improves SCMC, e-CRM, and CEP, while also directly influencing sustainable performance. SCMC, e-CRM, and CEP partially mediate the relationship between BDAC and sustainable performance. In addition, sustainable performance significantly strengthens competitive advantage. The study confirms that data-driven capabilities alone are insufficient to create long-term competitiveness unless supported by effective supply chain integration, digital customer management, and circular economy implementation. This research contributes to sustainable supply chain and MSME literature by integrating big data analytics, sustainability, and competitive advantage within traditional creative industries. Practically, the findings offer strategic insights for batik MSMEs and policymakers in supporting sustainable digital transformation.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Islamic fintech lending in Indonesia has raised concerns about the actual level of sharia compliance perceived by its users. This study aims to analyze the influence of sharia compliance, transparency, and trust on user perceptions of Islamic fintech lending platforms. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 200 users of Islamic fintech lending in Indonesia, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS version 26 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results show that all instruments are valid (r-count > 0.138) and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.70). The classical assumption tests confirm that the data are normally distributed, free from multicollinearity (VIF < 10), and free from heteroscedasticity. The multiple regression analysis reveals that sharia compliance (β = 0.412; t = 6.842; p < 0.001), transparency (β = 0.276; t = 4.521; p < 0.001), and trust (β = 0.198; t = 3.314; p = 0.001) significantly influence user perceptions. The simultaneous F-test indicates F = 143.567 with p < 0.001, while the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) is 0.682, meaning that 68.2% of the variance in user perceptions can be explained by the three independent variables. The findings imply that sharia compliance is the dominant determinant of positive user perception, suggesting that Islamic fintech operators must strengthen DSN-MUI fatwa adherence, akad transparency, and ethical trust-building mechanisms to maintain user confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of subsidized fertilizer availability, land area per capita, and agricultural labor on rice productivity in Madiun Regency during the 2015–2024 period. The study employed a quantitative approach using secondary time-series data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and related institutions. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of EViews 12 software. Before estimating the regression model, classical assumption tests were carried out, including normality, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results indicate that partially, subsidized fertilizer and land area per capita do not have a significant effect on rice productivity. Meanwhile, agricultural labor has a significant negative effect on rice productivity. Simultaneously, all independent variables significantly affect rice productivity in Madiun Regency. The coefficient of determination value of 0.728532 indicates that 72.85% of the variation in rice productivity can be explained by subsidized fertilizer, land area per capita, and agricultural labor, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that improving rice productivity cannot rely solely on the availability of production factors, but also requires more effective farm management, improved human resource quality, and the implementation of more efficient and appropriate agricultural technology.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have significantly transformed consumer behaviour, particularly in online shopping through e-commerce and social commerce. In Indonesia, internet penetration has reached 80.66%, with approximately 229.4 million users, accelerating the growth of digital consumption. This study aims to analyse the effect of live streaming on Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and impulsive buying, as well as the moderating role of Shopee Pay-Later among Generation Z in Indonesia. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 100 Generation Z respondents who actively use e-commerce, watch live streaming, and have made online purchases, with purposive sampling and data analysed using SEM-PLS. The findings reveal that live streaming has a positive and significant effect on both FOMO and impulsive buying, and FOMO also positively influences impulsive buying behaviour. However, Shopee Pay-Later does not moderate the relationship between live streaming, FOMO, and impulsive buying. These results indicate that impulsive buying behaviour among Generation Z is more strongly driven by emotional factors and interactive live streaming experiences than by the convenience of digital payment features. This study supports the Stimulus Organism Response (SOR) theory and provides practical implications for e-commerce practitioners to design more interactive and responsible marketing strategies. Kata Kunci: live streaming, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), impulsive buying, Shopee Pay-Later, Generation Z.
