Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, work motivation, and career development on teacher performance at Private Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Cepu District, Blora Regency. Teacher performance is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of education, especially in vocational schools which are required to produce work-ready graduates. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The population in this study were all teachers in three private vocational schools in Cepu, with a total of 139 respondents obtained through the census method. Data collection was carried out through a closed questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale covering four main variables. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression using the latest version of SPSS. The research results show that the three independent variables, namely work environment, work motivation, and career development, simultaneously or partially have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Work motivation is the variable that most dominantly influences teacher performance compared to the other two variables. These findings have the implication that efforts to improve teacher performance must be focused on improving the work environment, providing incentives and recognition to increase motivation, as well as structured career development. This research also emphasizes the importance of managerial strategies and educational policies that support the sustainability of teacher professionalism in private schools. Thus, it is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for school management and policy makers in improving the quality of education in developing areas such as Cepu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of implementing Sharia-based green finance in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), using Perum LKBN Antara as a case study. Sharia-based green finance is an innovative approach that integrates sustainability principles with Islamic values in the financial system. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, company documents, and annual reports, which were analyzed using NVivo software. The results show that Perum LKBN Antara has significant potential to adopt Sharia-based green finance, supported by internal awareness, environmentally friendly strategic policies, and ESG reporting practices. However, the implementation still faces several challenges, such as limited human resources, the absence of a structured sustainability roadmap, and a lack of understanding of Sharia principles in the context of green finance. This research recommends strengthening internal literacy, collaborating with Sharia-compliant institutions, and developing a roadmap and sustainability report based on Sharia ESG principles. This study is expected to provide both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Sharia-based green finance in the public sector as a support for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Keywords: Green Finance, Sharia Accounting, State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), LKBN Antara, ESG, SDGs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of training and career development on employee retention at Wara Utara Public Health Center (Puskesmas). A quantitative research method with a survey approach was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 44 respondents, comprising both medical and non-medical staff. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the relationship between the independent variables training (X1) and career development (X2) and the dependent variable, employee retention (Y). The findings indicate that career development has a significant effect on employee retention, with a regression coefficient of 0.651 and a significance level of 0.015 (<0.05). In contrast, training has a positive but statistically insignificant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.287 and a significance level of 0.282 (>0.05). Simultaneously, training and career development significantly contribute to employee retention, as evidenced by an F value of 86.682 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.809, indicating that 80.9% of the variation in employee retention can be explained by training and career development. These results suggest that structured career development programs contribute more significantly to enhancing employee loyalty compared to training programs. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to strengthen career development strategies to improve employee retention and reduce turnover rates.
