Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the target accuracy concept in the Cash Social Assistance Program in the South Banjarmasin District. This article was arranged using a literature review method based on previous research. The literature review stage begins with identifying, evaluating, and interpreting all literature related to the research topic. Identification was carried out by searching online databases and the Internet, including Google Scholar and the UI Library, on research published between 2014 and 2023 using the keywords Target Accuracy and Cash Social Assistance Program. The evaluation was done by sorting the published search results in English or Indonesian so that 38 (thirty-eight) studies regarding targeting accuracy were completed. Based on a literature review of 38 (thirty-eight) previous research results, there are two conclusions based on literature review. In policy implementation, it is necessary to consider the factors that influence it. These namely factors influence the Implementation of the Cash Social Assistance Program, such as the apparatus quality, competence of the apparatus, availability of infrastructure, supervision of distribution, the use of old data, communication, resources, disposition, bureaucratic structure, facilities & Infrastructure, lack of awareness of bureaucrats in carrying out their duties, internet access, community identity that is not updated, form and content of policies, implementing organizations and policy environment, and the existence of gender issues. Abstract

This study explores the acculturation process between Islam and Minangkabau customs, focusing on the traditional Baralek Tuanku ceremony. Fieldwork was conducted at Pesantren Nurul Yakin in Padang Pariaman, employing qualitative research methods, including observations, interviews, and participation in ceremonies. Data were analysed using thematic and narrative analysis. The study reveals that the acculturation of Islam and Minangkabau customs through Baralek Tuanku occurs in two forms: First, before the conferment of the Tuanku title, where Minangkabau values are institutionalised in the education of the students, particularly through teaching rundiang. Second, during the conferment process, where two elements of Minangkabau customs are involved: niniak mamak (customary leaders) who bestow the customary heirloom title alongside the Tuanku title, and bako (father’s sister) who prepares traditional food for the pesantren teachers. These pesantren inherit the values of the Syattariyah Order, particularly those related to maintaining the harmony between Islam and local culture, as the pesantren are managed by figures from this tarekat. This study offers a conceptual framework for understanding how dual identities can be harmoniously integrated within a community. It enriches the theoretical discourse on acculturation by providing a successful example of cultural and religious amalgamation.

Abstract

This study aims to delve into the prevalence of single candidates participating in regional elections across various regions following the Constitutional Court Decision Number 100/PUU-XIII/2015. It explores how political party elites and oligarchs strategically maneuver to either maintain or acquire power. Specifically focusing on Boyolali Regency, this research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to uncover the underlying causes behind the emergence of a single candidate. The findings reveal the significant influence of hegemonic forces wielded by major political parties over smaller ones, orchestrated by oligarchs. Importantly, the study highlights that this hegemonic dominance is not driven by factors such as religious majority affiliations with political parties but rather emerges as a purely oligarchic endeavor aimed at controlling both the nomination process and victory outcomes of single candidates.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of advertising exposure and word of mouth (WOM) on Generation Z consumer loyalty, examining the mediating role of brand awareness in the context of online purchases on marketplace platforms. We employed a quantitative descriptive approach, gathering primary data through questionnaires and observations of Generation Z consumers who have made at least two purchases on Shopee. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of the WarpPLS 7.0 software. The findings reveal that both advertising exposure and WOM significantly enhance brand awareness. Additionally, each has a direct and positive impact on consumer loyalty. However, the influence of advertising exposure and WOM on consumer loyalty does not necessarily require the mediation of brand awareness. These results suggest that Shopee’s robust advertising campaigns and effective WOM communications significantly embed the brand within the consumer's psyche, facilitating easy recall of Shopee as a platform known for attractive promotions. In conclusion, the formation of consumer loyalty can occur directly through advertising exposure and WOM, highlighting their pivotal roles in cultivating enduring consumer loyalty to Shopee.

Abstract

It is crucial to integrate knowledge and democracy into Bangladesh's government to establish a fair and effective system for future leaders. Let us implement this new system to ensure our government serves citizens' needs fairly and justly. This research paper proposes a new method for selecting administrative and state councils at different levels of government based on the Integration/Islamization of Knowledge and Democracy. The study includes interviews with political leaders and experts from Bangladesh and extensive research on politics in the country. The theories involved in this research are from Prof. Emeritus Dato' Dr. Abdulhamid Abusulayman, Profesor Emeritus Tan Sri Dr. Mohd. Kamal bin Hassan, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Zein, and former colleagues and students of al-Faruqi and al-Attas. The two pathways to introduce IoK and modern democracy in Bangladesh and other states with political crises are: 1) Education reform to emphasize interdisciplinary learning, practical applications, and critical thinking, and 2) Government support for policies and funding to promote IoK initiatives, collaboration, and evaluations. Thus, the Integrated Knowledge of Federal Democracy System (IKOFDS) is a proposed governmental structure that aims to empower citizens, enhance governance efficiency, and foster collaborative decision-making. By combining Federalism with the Integration of Knowledge (IoK) and a robust democratic method, the (IKOFDS) seeks to create a balanced and responsive governance model that capitalizes on the strengths of Federalism, knowledge integration, and democratic principles.

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of tourist facilities, tourist attractions, and visitor satisfaction on interest in revisiting the Ngilngof Tourism Village in Southeast Maluku. A quantitative research design was used to answer these objectives. A total of 78 tourists were actively involved in this research, and they were visitors who made repeat visits, with the characteristic respondents being those who had visited at least two times or were making their 2nd visit to Ngilngof Tourism Village. A purposive sampling technique was used to select research respondents. Multiple regression data analysis with the help of SPSS was used to see the influence of the independent variable on the dependent. The research results show that both partially and simultaneously, the variables of tourist facilities, tourist attractions, and visitor satisfaction have a positive and significant effect (p<.05) on interest in repeat visits. Not only that, the contribution of these three variables reached 79.3%, which shows a huge influence on the dependent variable. The results of this research provide great benefits regarding the factors that must be maintained and improved by the managers of the Ngilngof Tourism Village so that tourist visits to their location will be even better.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the pattern of women's empowerment through the Kube Kembang Jayanti Program by the Ganjar Sabar Village Government, Nagreg District, Bandung Regency. Ganjar Sabar Village as the focus of the research has quite complex women's problems where there are many cases of women, especially widows, who experience social, economic and religious problems. The Ganjar Sabar Village Government as a community service at the local level presents the Kube Kembang Jayanti Program to overcome this problem. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis model in describing the research results. The main data source in this study comes from the results of researchers' interviews with a number of parties involved both directly and indirectly in the Kube Kembang Jayanti Program. The results of this study show that the Ganjar Sabar Village Government has been quite successful in overcoming women's problems, especially widows, through the Kube Kembang Jayanti Program. This is based on the fulfillment of the three empowerment stage indicators which are the theoretical basis for this research. The three stage indicators are awareness, capacity building and empowerment. The Ganjar Sabar Village Government has been able to take a persuasive approach in the awareness stage, being able to provide facilities in the form of training programs, providing initial capital and also business tools for members of Kube Kembang Jayanti. Furthermore, Kube Kembang Jayanti members also receive sustainable benefits from the women's empowerment program by the Ganjar Sabar Village Government. However, at the empowerment stage, the Ganjar Sabar Village Government was not yet optimal in providing collaboration so that product marketing could be sustainable, this should be corrected so that the empowerment program can run optimally. The novelty in this study is that it attempts to research the women's empowerment program with a case study of the Kube Kembang Jayanti Program at the local level

Abstract

This study analyses the success of Collaborative Governance in the Construction of Phase I Permanent Residential in the Tondo sub-district after the Earthquake, Tsunami, and Liquefaction on September 28 2018, in Palu City. This research used qualitative methods by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in the stages of data collection, condensation, display, and conclusion. The theory applied was the Collaborative Governance Model from 1) Face-to-face dialogue, 2) Trust Building, 3) Commitment to process, 4) shared understanding, and 5) Intermediate Outcomes.  The result showed that from the theoretical aspect, the triumph achieved in collaborative governance of permanent housing was because, since the beginning of the direct conversation, an agreement on the division of authority had been reached, wherein the Provincial Nasional Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) prepared the land for the project, the Palu City NDMA was responsible for providing the infrastructure, and the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation has the competence to build the constant home. The accomplishment of establishing this initial covenant was followed up well, along with the consistency toward trust building, commitment to the process, and shared understanding to attain good intermediate outcomes.
