Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the emergence of Otaku who are fans of Japanese sub-culture in the form of anime and manga in Surakarta City. How is their behavior or lifestyle and what are their reasons for identifying themselves as Otaku. This research will describe the lifestyle of Otaku and how they interpret anime, manga and themselves as Otaku. This qualitative research uses an ethnographic approach in which data sources are events, informants and documents. This study used a purposive sampling technique in which researchers conducted interviews, observations and documentation while researching. The data validity technique was carried out by triangulating data from documents with interview results. This study found that some otaku interpret anime and manga as more than just entertainment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the efforts of character education and religious and moral values in early childhood. The research method used in this research is qualitative. The data sources used in this study were obtained from informants who were selected using a purposive technique. Data analysis is done inductively starting from empirical facts and then deduced with theory. The results found in this study 1. The approach used in Khadijah Islamic Kindergarten Plus is the Development approach through the singing method, storytelling method, question and answer method, and the domesrasi method. While at Kindergarten Isalm Al-Ikhwan the development approach is through the habituation method, the storytelling method, the demonstration method, the question and answer method, and the singing method. 2. Development of valuesand morals in T Islam Khadijah by singing religious songs. From the results of this study, it is clear that there are many ways to implement character education in early childhood, but it is possible that it can also be applied to elementary, middle and high school children

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of cultivating religious character and discipline through Al-Qur'an tahfidz activities in Al Hamid Kindergarten and Blossom Kindergarten Banjarmasin. The research method used is a multi-site study involving two kindergartens as research locations. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaires to teachers, parents, and children involved in Al-Qur'an tahfidz activities. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to gain a comprehensive understanding of the effects of cultivating religious and disciplinary character through Al-Qur'an tahfidz activities in Kindergarten. The results showed that the activities of tahfidz Al-Qur'an make a positive contribution in instilling religious character and discipline in children in kindergarten. The children showed an increase in understanding religious values, awareness of moral behavior, and discipline in carrying out daily activities. In addition, through Al-Qur'an tahfidz activities, children also develop a deeper love and interest in the Al-Qur'an as a source of religious teachings. However, there are several challenges faced in implementing Al-Qur'an recitation activities in kindergarten, such as a lack of resources and support from the surrounding environment. Therefore, this study also recommends several strategic steps to increase the effectiveness of the Al-Qur'an tahfidz program in kindergarten, including the active participation of parents in supporting and involving themselves in children's religious activities outside of school. In conclusion, tahfidz Al-Qur'an activities have great potential in cultivating religious character and discipline in kindergarten. Good implementation, parental support, and support from the surrounding environment can increase the benefits of this program. This research is expected to contribute to the development of religious and disciplinary character education at the kindergarten level.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of educational technology for the elementary school millennial generation. This research uses a qualitative method by collecting data from opinion articles and direct research to describe phenomena that occur in the field with the aim of obtaining data carried out in research with types and sources of primary data obtained directly from direct sources to find out details of the problem while the data secondary is used to obtain data in the form of research supporting documents, with data analysis techniques to determine the extent of the role of technology in learning. Based on the research results, it was found that the role of educational technology in the millennial generation is; 1) technology as a medium for obtaining information on subject matter, 2) technology as a medium for exploring knowledge, 3) technology as an intermediary between teachers and students, 4) technology as a catalyst for educational quality.

Abstract

Nowadays, pesantren as an educational and da'wah entity is faced with various challenges, one of which is the challenge of fostering and educating students to have a disciplined attitude. A pesantren that has a lot of santri must know very well about the methods and ways to shape their character. One of them is educating characters so that they are able to be disciplined in everything, both in terms of worship, school, muamalah and their daily lives in the dormitory. So that this method can be accepted by every student, the role of Islamic boarding school education in improving the disciplined character education of the students is an obligation. In applying the character of the santri, appropriate steps are needed to match the educational goals of the pesantren. One of the most basic characters that must be instilled in the student's personality is the character of discipline. The character of discipline affects all aspects of santri behavior in everyday life. By having a disciplined character, students will show other traits such as responsibility, punctuality and good time management in memorizing the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of using Instagram on the religious behavior of students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This study focuses on the extent to which Instagram use influences students' religious behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through a questionnaire instrument. The data analysis methods used are normality test, hypothesis test, simple linear regression coefficient test and determination test, then the data is processed using the SPSS 29 application. The results of the simple linear regression test show a significance value of 0.001 with a limit value of 0.05. Because 0.001 < 0.05, this indicates that the Instagram usage variable has a significant influence on religious behavior. And the results of the determination test show that there is a relationship between the use of Instagram social media and religious behavior, namely 0.295 or 29.5%. This means that variable (X) social media Instagram influences variable (Y) religious behavior by 29.5%. The remainder, namely 60.6%, comes from factors outside the research that are not included in this research model.

Abstract

Poor learning outcomes are often occurred on history instructions at school, including in MAN Kota Batu. Among others, students of X-IPS-1 have the lowest learning outcomes. Their final examination grades on history subject were the lowest among other class. To improve this situation, a Group Investigation learning model was implemented in frame of Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this study, researchers collaborated wirth history teacher of X-IPS-1 MAN Kota Batu in conducting two cycles of CAR including (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Upon completion of the first cycle, students’ learning outcomes were good with the average grade of 79.31. Further improvement were shown on the following cycle with the average grade of 83.33. The result of this study indicates that Group Investigation model on history instruction could help students on improving their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tourist villages are a forum for village communities to develop tourism products because they have various potentials in terms of nature, food and culture as the identity of tourist attractions. One of them is the Merapi Turgo Tourism Village which is located on the slopes of Mount Merapi, Padukuhan Turgo, Purwobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The village has various tourism potentials. However, the lack of good management and promotion has made the village little known. The problems faced make it difficult for the village to develop, especially in getting investors. So from the results of observations, researchers discovered the fact that one way to overcome this is through making promotional videos, because online media currently dominates various forms of effective marketing. In making promotional videos, an important role is needed from a team of experts in their fields, both in the pre-production, production and post-production processes. One of the crucial roles is the Editor because in making a film or video, the cameraman's shooting process is still not structured so the role of the editor in post-production is very necessary to package tourism promotional videos more attractively. Editors at Turgo Tourism Village in making Tourism Promotion Videos use editing techniques such as cutting, light leak zoom in and zoom out transitions, fading, appropriate motion graphics, adjusted color grading so that the video results are better. interestingly, the author uses Adobe Premiere Pro software because this software has many features that help the author in the video editing process.

Abstract

The government's low attention to the welfare of honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin is indeed very concerning. In fact, the obligations carried out by honorary teachers are no different from PNS teachers. The honorary teachers continue to carry out the same obligations as PNS teachers, namely to guide and become good educators for each student, but in reality, this great task and responsibility in educating students is not commensurate with the wages they receive. As a result, it puts honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin at risk of being less prosperous in their quality of life.The type of research in this article is descriptive qualitative research where the data are obtained directly from honorary teachers at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Banjarmasin with the number of informants as many as 4 (four) teachers. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Then using data analysis in the form of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research in this article arein terms of welfare, the standard of living can be said to have not been achieved because they have to work harder to get something decent.With a very low salary income, honorary teachers are still able to fulfill their welfare. One of the needs that are met is the aspect of Physical Needs.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the philosophical values contained in the Tapai Festival, which include religious, social, economic, local wisdom and cultural identity values. Using a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data was collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and local communities. The research results show that the Tapai Festival not only strengthens community solidarity, but also becomes a means to teach the younger generation about the importance of maintaining traditions and ancestral heritage. These values are reflected in every stage of the ceremony, from preparation to implementation, which is full of symbolism and deep meaning. Thus, the Tapai Festival tradition plays an important role in preserving the philosophical values of the Batubara people and enriching Indonesia's cultural treasures.
