Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out the sufistic values in book of FuṠuṠ Al- Ḥikam. This study used qualitative research. The result shows Ibn ‘Arabí̄ has nothing at all to carry the name and opinion of a philosopher or figure both Islamic and outside Islam in initiating his thinking. Even if he mentions the name or the name of one character in order to reject their opinion or compare it with the results obtained. For Fuṡuṡ al-Ḥikam Ibn ‘Arabí̄ to prove that the book was indeed given by the prophet directly to him.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the philosophical values contained in the Tapai Festival, which include religious, social, economic, local wisdom and cultural identity values. Using a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, data was collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and local communities. The research results show that the Tapai Festival not only strengthens community solidarity, but also becomes a means to teach the younger generation about the importance of maintaining traditions and ancestral heritage. These values are reflected in every stage of the ceremony, from preparation to implementation, which is full of symbolism and deep meaning. Thus, the Tapai Festival tradition plays an important role in preserving the philosophical values of the Batubara people and enriching Indonesia's cultural treasures.

Abstract

The most important and frequent spiritual component of people is called aqidah, or belief, which instructs physical members of the human race to perform specific tasks. Good faith will lead to good deeds from people, but bad faith will lead to bad deeds from people as well. The purpose of this study is to determine how Islamic Aqidah influences the development of teenage religiosity in Tembung Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Research from libraries and the field were combined for this study. The two approaches used in this study are the sociological approach (sociological approach) and the Islamic Aqidah method (Islamic theological approach). In Tembung village, the formation of teenage religiosity is greatly influenced by the Islamic faith. The standard of a person's religion is established by aqidah. Reluctant learners of aqeedah frequently make mistakes and introduce additional issues into their life. as a manual for life that will help you distinguish between right and wrong, guard against making mistakes, cultivate a sense of adoration for Allah SWT, soothe your soul, and comprehend and abide by the sunnah.

Abstract

Keuatamaan ayat hīrzi dilingkungan Pondok Pesantren membawa implikasi dan pengaruh psikologi para santri, terutama di pondok pesantren yang secara khusus dalam mempelajari dan menghapal al-Quran fokus terhadap santri yang mengamalkan dan tidak mengamalkan ayat hīrzi. Menjawab pertanyaan diatas apakah dalam mengamalkan ayat hīrzi memberikan pengaruh psikolgi terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan menghapal Al-Quran. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan terjun langsung kelapangan untuk mengamati dan mencatat praktik pengamalan ayat hīrzi dilingkungan Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Al-Azharul Muniroh (PTAM), Serdang Bedagai. Penilitian melibatkan diri secara langsung dengan ikut mondok untuk memberikan sumber yang valid dan faktual dari para santri yang mengamalkan dan tidak mengamalkan ayat hīrzi dilingkungan Pondok Tahfidz. Penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa praktik pengamalan ayat hīrzi di PTAM menunjukan pengaruh Psikologi negatif dan positif terhadap kualitas mempelajari dan menghapal al-Quran, dan sekaligus memberikan bukti bahwa praktik pengamalan ayat hīrzi di lingkungan Pondok Tahfidz. Penelitian ini juga memberikan sumbangan keilmuan yang bisa diterapkan di pondok pesantren lainnya.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the ideas, contributions, and involvement of Bukhari Iskandar in Islamic education in Labuhanbatu. Using a qualitative approach, this study employed in-depth interviews with Bukhari Iskandar’s colleagues to gather relevant data. This research indicates that Bukhari Iskandar is influential in advancing Islamic education in Labuhanbatu. His innovative ideas, including a contextual approach to religious learning, information and communication technology, and character education, have brought about positive changes in teaching and learning religion. Bukhari Iskandar’s contributions are also evident in developing a comprehensive Islamic education curriculum, intensive teacher training, and the writing and publishing of quality books. The findings of this study provide a deep understanding of the efforts made by Bukhari in strengthening religious education, enhancing teaching quality, and expanding access to Islamic education in the region.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the curriculum content, analyze the learning process, and identify the challenges and supporting factors in implementing the curriculum at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief. The research was conducted using a qualitative field research approach. The research instruments included observation, interviews, and document analysis. The primary and secondary data sources for this research are obtained from Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief. The results showed that the analysis of curriculum materials at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief is using the school curriculum (independent), the education system at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief is muadalah by carrying out cooperation with the Ministry of Religion, the subjects at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief are general subjects and pesantren subjects, the study group division system is divided into pre tahfidz, tahfidz, tardris, ibtida'i, ihdzari, tahta takamul, takamul, and there are daily, weekly and monthly programs. The learning process at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief is the selection to enter the pesantren, class division system, learning methods, media, learning evaluation, and assessment system. Supporting factors at Pesantren Sulaimaniyah Medan Syarief are the learning environment, learning targets that must be achieved, good human resources (HR), parental and community support, and complete facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the practice of Sufism in the Tanjung Morawa B Village community, identifying the factors that influence its implementation, as well as its impact on local social and cultural dynamics. Sufism, which is an effort to cleanse the soul and achieve closeness to God, shows the values of wisdom and simplicity in everyday life. This research uses a descriptive analytical method that combines semi-structured interview techniques, non- participant observation, and documentation. Primary data was collected through interviews with Village Heads, religious leaders and local community leaders, as well as through direct observation of Sufism practices. Secondary data was obtained from related documents such as village history, geography and demographic data. The research results show that the people of Tanjung Morawa B Village face challenges from changing times and materialism which often diverts focus from spiritual aspects. However, Sufism teachings such as zuhud still have an important role in reminding people about the balance of life. The practice of Sufism in this village is implemented through the maqamat and ahwal stages, although the community's understanding is not as complex as in big cities. Factors that influence the practice of Sufism in this village include cultural background, the role of religious figures, as well as economic and educational factors. The impact of Sufism practices on social and cultural dynamics in Tanjung Morawa B Village includes increasing the community's spiritual and moral awareness, although modernization and materialism often pose challenges.

Abstract

The research aims to explain the Internalization Program of Character Education Values in Shaping Environmental Awareness (Study of Three High Schools Managed by Three Islamic Organizations) Medan City Describe the Internalization of Character Education Values in Shaping Environmental Awareness (Study of Three High Schools Managed by Three Islamic Organizations) Medan City, Analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of Internalization of Character Education Values in Shaping Environmental Awareness (Study of Three High Schools Managed by Three Islamic Organizations) Medan City. The research subjects were the principal, teachers and students at three high schools managed by three Islamic organizations in Medan City (SMA Swasta 1 Muhammadiyah, SMA Al Washliyah I Medan, and SMA Swasta Nahdlatul Ulama Medan City). data sources through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed The results of the study found that 1). Internalization program of character education values in three Islamic high schools in Medan: honesty, responsibility, justice, solidarity, simplicity, recycling project, greening, environmental campaign. 2) Internalization of character education values in three Islamic high schools in Medan forms environmental awareness through curriculum, practical activities, teachers' roles, community cooperation, and continuous training. 3) Three Islamic high schools in Medan (Muhammadiyah, Al Washliyah, Nahdlatul Ulama) are supported by integrated curriculum, role model teachers, extracurricular activities, facing barriers of resources, awareness, technology, and dense curriculum.

Abstract

The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has established the Pendidikan Tinggi Kader Ulama (PKU), or Scholars Cadre Education Program, to train future ulama. This research aims to explore the dynamics and effectiveness of PKU programs in North Sumatra from 1980 to 2020, assessing their impact on producing capable scholars and evaluating their alignment with community expectations. A social historical approach is used to assess religious and social institutional elements relevant to the research theme. The study covers various aspects such as the objectives, curriculum, human resources, alumni, institutional management, and facilities of PTKU-MUI in North-Sumatra. The focus is on analyzing how the institution operates and develops in the social and educational context. The research results show that the PKU initiative is essential for ensuring the continuity of Islamic scholarship, addressing the shortage of knowledgeable scholars, and adapting to the evolving needs of the Muslim community.

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the performance of village officials in governance from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to analyze the performance of village officials in governance in Huristak District, Padang Lawas Regency, focusing on Islamic perspectives. The research method used is a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The study respondents involved village officials, community leaders, traditional leaders and local religious leaders. The collected data is analyzed through a contextual approach and reviewed from an Islamic point of view. The results of this study show that the performance of village officials in the context of governance has achieved maximum results. This assessment is based on the understanding and implementation of Islamic principles in village governance. In various limitations, village officials have succeeded in establishing strong community participation mechanisms in decision making, creating fair public services, and ensuring accountability and transparency in every policy taken. The involvement of religious leaders in the decision-making process is also a determining factor in achieving maximum results. The initiative helps to effectively integrate Islamic values in all aspects of village governance. In addition, close collaboration between village officials, community leaders, and clerics has contributed positively to sustainable development and community welfare. The implications of the results of this study can be used as a reference for local governments, village officials, and other stakeholders to strengthen and maintain the success that has been achieved in presenting governance in accordance with Islamic values in Huristak District and its surroundings.
