Abstract

AbstractThe research conducted aims to analyze how the economic learning model that has been applied by the teacher and its influence on students' rational thinking skills. Furthermore, how the influence of the learning model emphasizes solving problems with Polya's version of students' rational thinking skills, because previously this model was never used in economic learning. This research was conducted in one of the private high schools in Panyipatan sub-district, namely Abdul Kadir High School. The research method used is quantitative method with quasi-experimental design of pre-test and post-test, the class chosen is class X semester 2 with the subject of inflation. The results of the research and hypothesis testing show that there are significant differences in students' rational thinking abilities taught through the Polya problem solving learning model with students taught with conventional models. Based on the results of the post-test it can be seen that there are differences in mean learning outcomes, where the experimental class has an average value of 74.26, and control class 41.47. This difference is also seen from the results of the two index gain index, where the control class shows a gain index of 0.26 or <0.30 with low criteria. While the experimental class has a gain index of 0.66 with the criteria being. In addition to the gain index, differences in students' rational thinking skills are also seen from the results of different test results (t), from the above calculation, it is obtained thitung = 8.121 while t table = 2.131. So that if it is included in the hypothesis formula, t count> t table, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that the ability to think rationally by using the Polya version of problem solving learning model is better or increased than conventional learning models that have been applied in every economic learning, especially in inflation material.Keywords: Polya's version of problem solving learning model, economics, rational thinking.AbstrakPenelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana model pembelajaran ekonomi yang selama ini diterapkan oleh guru serta pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik. Selanjutnya bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran yang menekankan pada pemecahan masalah dengan versi Polya terhadap kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik, karena sebelumnya model ini tidak pernah digunakan dalam pembelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA swasta di kecamatan Panyipatan, yakni SMA Abdul Kadir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan kuasi eksperimen desain pre test dan post test, kelas yang dipilih adalah kelas X semester 2 dengan bahasan pokok inflasi. Hasil penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah Polya dengan peserta didik yang diajar dengan model konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil post test terlihat adanya perbedaan rerata hasil belajar, dimana kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rerata 74,26, dan kelas kontrol 41,47. Perbedaan ini juga terlihat dari hasil hitung indeks gain kedua kelas, dimana kelas kontrol menunjukkan indeks gain sebesar 0,26 atau < 0,30 dengan kriteria rendah. Sedangkan kelas ekperimen memiliki indeks gain sebesar 0,66 dengan kriteria sedang. Selain indeks gain, perbedaan kemampuan berpikir rasional peserta didik juga terlihat dari nilai hasil uji beda (t), dari perhitungan di atas didapatkan thitung= 8,121 sedangkan ttabel= 2,131. Sehingga bila dimasukkan pada rumus hipotesis thitung > ttabel, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir rasional dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah versi Polya lebih baik atau meningkat dari pada model pembelajaran konvensional yang selama ini diterapkan disetiap pembelajaran ekonomi, khususnya pada materi inflasi.Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran pemecahan masalah versi Polya, ekonomi, berpikir rasional

Abstract

This research aims to (1) increase learning motivation of students through the adoption of a model cooperative learning methods Think Pair and Share (TPS), (2) describe the use of cooperative learning methods Think Pair and Share (TPS) in class XI IIS SMAN 3 Kuala Kapuas academic year 2014/2015. This study was designed and implemented using Action Research (PTK). Research subjects are all students of Class XI IIS SMAN 3 Kuala Kapuas. Object of this research is to increase student motivation and learning activities in the application method and Think Pair Share (TPS). The instrument used in this study were (1) an instrument for measuring the activity of the teacher in the classroom who is assisted by 2 observers, (2) instrument to measure student activities, (3) instrument to measure student motivation, (4) instrument to measure student response, towards the implementation of cooperative learning model and method of Think Pair Share (TPS). PTK stages in the form of planning, implementation, observation and reflection, using a scientific approach (5M).Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Method And Think Pair Share (TPS), student motivation, enhancing learning.

Abstract

The phenomenal development of history learning in developed countries has made history education experts in Indonesia train students to think historically and believe that learning history must be based on historical central issues. However, the implementation of historical thinking is based onissuehistorical centre as a powerful way to achieve critical historical learning is not without challenges. Many historical education experts admit that historical thinking is the best way to teach students to learn the critical history and be able to relate problemscontemporaryto historical phenomena to carry out successfully. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the learning model think historically (MPBH) based issue central history in the European History course. Data obtained from 2 classes with a population of 70 people. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The research findings are significant differences between the experimental and control classes in improvement ability think critical student. Conclusione ffectiveness MPBH based on the central historical issue in this research has not been able to generalize still needed to expand the research by increasing the population and a wider area.

Abstract

This certainly brings great effects to teaching and learning process, and one of the effects is the implementation of Scientific Approach which develops 5M (observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning and communicating). It requires the understanding of the teachers of social studies on teaching and learning in elaborating the scientific approach used in Curriculum 2013. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The primary data sources are two Social Science teachers at SMPN 1 Tamban and the secondary data sources are taken by observation, interview and documentation. The research results showed that Social Science teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Tamban have understood the teaching and learning approach of Curriculum 2013 which is scientific with 5 M activities including observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning and communicating or collaborative networking. With the facilities and infrastructures which are less supportive toward scientific teaching and learning activities in Social Science, the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Tamban have been able to develop their creativity by directing students to think critically and creatively to build their independence in solving social problems in society. This can be exposed through the use of scientific teaching and learning model like Problem-Based Learning, Discovery and Inquiry. Social Science teachers creativity in scientific teaching and learning activities can be seen in the teachers efforts in the formulation of the lesson plan based on the steps in the scientific teaching and learning activities, the preparation of materials, the classroom management, media use, the utilization of study sources, the implementation of a teaching and learning model and the submission of study results.Key Words: creativity of teachers, teaching and learning process of social studies, scientific approach

Abstract

Government efforts to improve the quality of education, especially in the areas of curriculum integration to maintain a general knowledge (in this case subjects IPS) with the values and religious norms (social values) has been developed in the Competency-Based curriculum (CBC) and Unit Level Education curriculum (SBC). This is a realization of the national education goals. Based on observations in SMP Negeri 2 Anjir Pasar District Market District Anjir Barito Kuala, that the integration of social values according to the religion of Islam into the subject of social relationships in social studies subjects have not been developed and implemented. Due to the lack of an integrated instructional design and the lack of teachers' ability to innovate in learning. The research objective to determine the design intergasi social values according to the religion of Islam into the subject of social relationships on the subjects social studies class VIII. The study uses a qualitative approach, namely the approach of trying to obtain descriptive data, speech or writing, and behavior can be observed.Research using qualitative methods with the steps of the research design Suheri adopting measures Bruog research and Gall.The results of this study found a design model of integration in social studies learning. Than 2 times the design implementation of integration in social studies learning, it is known that the first meeting of the obtained value of 5.80 with 51.44% completeness, while the obtained value of 6.14 second meeting with the thoroughness 71.42%. Kata Kunci : Desain Integrasi, Pembelajaran Terpadu, Hubungan Sosial, Nilai Sosial

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the role of Museum Mangkurat as a source of teaching history. The method used in this paper is reinforced circuitry historical method of observation and literature. The survey results revealed that the Museum Mangkurat have a major role to education development. Especially in teaching and learning history. Museums and history simply can not be separated, because the election of the museum as a source of teaching history is very precise.Learners can learn firsthand by seeing, understanding and direct experience so that learning becomes enjoyable and meaningful. The learning process in this museum can be done using methods trips and CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning). With the use of methods trips and CTL make history teaching more accepted by learners, leaving the impression of monotonous, boring and rote.Keywords: Museum, History, Field Trips, and CTL.Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Museum Lambung Mangkurat sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode sejarah yang diperkuat dnegan observasi dan studi pustaka.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Museum Lambung Mangkurat mempunyai peran besar terhadap perkembangan pendidikan. Terutama dalam proses belajar mengajar sejarah. Museum dan sejarah memang tidak dapat dipisahkan, karena itu pemilihan museum sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah adalah sangat tepat.Peserta didik dapat belajar secara langsung dengan melihat, memahami, dan mengalami langsung sehingga pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan dan bermakna. Proses belajar mengajar di museum ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode karya wisata dan CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning). Dengan penggunaan metode karya wisata dan CTL menjadikan pembelajaran sejarah lebih diterima oleh peserta didik, meninggalkan kesan monoton, membosankan dan hapalan.Kata Kunci: Museum, sejarah, karya wisata, dan CTL.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the work spirit of lecture in Hulu Sungai Tengah. This study includes a quantitative descriptive research. Quantitative descriptive approach involves collecting data to answer several research questions related to the status of the study subjects were examined and denoted by using numbers. The data examined in this study is a tutor at Hulu Sungai Tengah, amounting to 30 tutors. Based on this research, work spirit of  lecture in Hulu Sungai Tengah.  In generally fall into either category, it can be evidenced by ownership category of each aspect. This is supported by advanced data, which is an average score for each aspect of the data is higher than the average edial. Most aspects contribute to the formation of tutors work spirit is a commitment (93%) and interest (70%) who claimed to have a high commitment and interest. Aspects of motivation is the most minor aspect in the formation work spirit of lectures in Hulu Sungai Tengah that only 37% had high motivation.Key words: Work spirit, and lecture

Abstract

AbstractImages and portraits of present-day students always want something in an easy way without bothering with various processes, from the data of counseling teachers in 2016/2017 SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin on average each month 6% of the total number of peseta neglects responsibility, such as not doing lesson assignments, paying less attention to lessons, breaking rules, making noise in class while studying. This study uses qualitative description method, data collection using observation, documentation and interview techniques, analyzing data with data reduction, data presentation and verification, testing the validity of the data is done by triangulating the source of triangulation techniques, time triangulation, member check, extension of time and using reference materials. The results of the study state that character education is not optimal, there are still some teachers in planning learning to adopt from the internet without being analyzed and adjusted to school conditions, (2) Implementation of responsibility character education through social studies learning in Banjarmasin Public Middle 30 has not been optimal with indications that there are still participants students who do not do individual or group assignments, (3) Evaluation of character education responsibilities in SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin is not optimal, because some teachers have not studied the character of students in exploring and processing questions in each learning process.Keywords: Character Education, responsibility, social studies learning AbstrakGambaran dan potret peserta didik masa kini selalu menginginkan sesuatu dengan cara yang mudah tanpa bersusah payah dengan berbagai proses, dari data guru bimbingan konseling tahun 2016/2017 SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin rata-rata setiap bulannya 6 % dari jumlah peseta didik melalaikan tanggung jawab, seperti tidak mengerjakan tugas pelajaran, kurang memperhatikan pelajaran, melanggar tata tertib, membuat keributan di kelas saat belajar. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif, pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara, analisa data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi, pengujian keabsahan data dilakukan dengan trianggulasi sumber trianggulasi tehnik, trianggulasi waktu, membercheck, perpanjangan waktu dan menggunakan bahan referensi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pendidikan karakter belum optimal, masih ada sebagian guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran mengadopsi dari internet tanpa  dianalisis  dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah, (2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab melalui pembelajaran IPS Di SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin belum optimal dengan indikasi masih ada peserta didik yang tidak mengerjakan tugas individu maupun kelompok, (3) Penilaian  pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab di SMP Negeri 30 Banjarmasin belum optimal,dikarenakan sebagian guru belum mengkaji karakter peserta didik dalam menggali dan mengolah soal-soal dalam setiap melakukan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, tanggung jawab, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Influence of Social Science Subject with Information Technology and Communication and Teacher’s competence toward Learning Interest of MTsN Students in Tapin Regency. This research is survey; the subject of research is all students of MTsN of ninth grade for academic year 2013/2014 di Tapin Regency and this is called total sampling. This is quantitative approach. The data collection uses quesionaire and documentation. The test validity is based product moment correlation. The research result states that there is the correlation between information technology and communication based social science learning and students interest in learning; there is the correlation between teacher’s competence and student’s interest; there is the correlation among information technology based social science learning and teacher’s competence toward communication toward student’s interest in learning. In a word, technology and communication based social science learning influences student’s interest; teacher’s competence influences student’s interest; information technology based social science learning and teacher’s competence influence student’s interest in learning. It is recomended that this research can be the study relevant to develop the social science teachers’ concept contextually.  Key words: Social Science Subject, Teacher, and Learning Interest

Abstract

The aims of this research are to know: (1) society education conditions dayak maanyan (2) its happening process social change culturize with mark sense education (3) education role tu cultural social change. Observational location to be done at warukin’s village tanta’s district tabalong’ regency. This research utilize qualitative method. Data collecting rech with interview, observation, documentation and it affiliate. Informan determination with purposive and snowball sampling. This research finds first education has experienced step-up or progress experiences changing built by earlychildhood education and middle school. Before children doesn’t want school now child willingness comes in college, well at earlychildhood, primary school and middle. Both of happening changed process is talk shop society no longer undivided rely from their forest result be connected with swasta sector and governance sector, life that modestly is now beginning gently amends go to middleweight life and cultural appreciation be taught on  base rate education to keep up region culture to protage. Third play a part education at family as teaches and in dogma, get socialization with environmentally surrounding and more emphasizes to that child important education in future. Play a part education at schooled, as develops culture to read, write and gets computing and education material at studies by cognitive, afective and psycomotor. Play a part education at conjoined as deep partnership with side achooled as committee of school, following gets role in contribution lents fund, help and energy. Get starting point of this research finding, severally suggest one is proposed that is (1) increase society role in advance education (2) family role are expected get to help childs in formal education working out (3) for school, that aptly gets to utilize all kind help.Key word: changing social culture, Dayak Maanyan, education role
