Abstract

The country of Indonesia is a multicultural country with diverse tribes, cultures, religions and understandings which have the opportunity to open opportunities for various understandings to influence it. In the world of education, it is one of the targets for spreading the seeds of potential religious radicalism. Understanding religious radicalism tends to ignore aspects of diversity and negate diversity. The psychological state of adolescents is a period that is vulnerable and sensitive to environmental influences. At this time, adolescents are synonymous with a period of self-discovery and a desire to strengthen the search for their identity. Cross-Religion and Culture counseling services are one of the services in the world of education that is very strategic in overcoming the spread of religious radicalism among adolescents. Counseling services through a multicultural concept are considered very necessary in shaping the personalities of adolescents who are able to respect each other in any diversity of diversity. From this study intends to show that multicultural counseling is one way to foster the civilized attitude of students so that they are not trapped in the wrong understanding of the differences they have.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang kritikan penulis dan tawaran penulis pada praktik bimbingan dan konseling dengan menggunakan pendekatan realitas dalam membantu permasalah konseli. Tujuan dari artikel ini diharapkan mampu mengisi kekurangan pada praktik bimbingan dan konseling dengan pendekatan realitas. Hasil dari menghimpun referensi yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan yang kemudian dianalisis, menunjukkan bahwa penelitian sebelumnya yang menggunakan pendekatan realitas didominasi pada kurang efektifitasnya proses konseling dikarenakan terbatasnya teori. Sehingga penulis memberikan tawaran berupa praktik pendekatan realitas dengan memadukan pendekatan post modern yakni SFBT dalam bimbingan dan konseling islam.

Abstract

Fenomena pada penelitian ini berupa perilaku bullying siswa di dunia pendidikan khususnya di Mts Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny. Bentuk perilaku bullying yang terjadi antar siswa Mts Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny seperti mengejek, memukul, menendang, menyuruh-nyuruh seperti penguasa, dan meminta uang secara paksa. Pendekatan dalam Penanganan yang diberikan oleh Guru BK dalam meminimalisir perilaku bullying siswa di Mts Putra Al-Ishlahuddiny dengan pendekatan konseling Analisis Transaksional dan Konseling Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaku bullying memiliki kesadaran akan kesalahannya sehingga perilaku bullying berkurang.

Abstract

Pusat Informasidan Komunikasi Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja (PIK-KRR) merupakan suatu lembaga yang berada di MA Annajah Pondok Pesantren Al-Halimy Sesela. Sebagai suatu wadah yang dikelola dari, oleh dan untuk remaja/santri dalam memperoleh informasi dan pelayanan konseling tentang kesehatan reproduksi pada khususnya dan permasalah-permasalahan lain yang dihadapi santri pada umumnya. Konseling adalah suatu proses yang terjadi dalam hubungan pribadi antara seseorang yang mengalami kesulitan dengan seseorang yang professional yang latihan dan pengalamannya dapat dipergunakan untuk membantu orang lain agar mampu memecahkan persoalan pribadinya. Karena setiap jiwa mendambakan kehidupan yang tenang dan sehat, yaitu keberadaan jiwa pada suatu kondisi fisik mental dan sosial yang bebas dari gangguan, seperti penyakit atau perasaan tertekan yang memungkinkan seseorang tersebut untuk hidup produktif dan mengendalikan stress yang terjadi sehari-hari serta berhubungan sosial secara nyaman dan berkualitas. Namun hal itu sulit didapatkan lebih-lebih di usia remaja, karena remaja berada pada usia transisi, yakni seorang individu, telah meninggalkan usia kanak-kanak yang lemah dan penuh ketergantungan, akan tetapi belum mampu ke usia yang kuat dan penuh tanggung jawab, baik terhadap dirinya maupun terhadap masyarakat. Banyaknya masa transisi ini bergantung kepada keadaan dan tingkat sosial masyarakat di mana ia hidup. Semakin maju masyarakat semakin panjang usia remaja, karena ia harus mempersiapkan diri untuk menyesuaikan diri dalam masyarakat yang banyak syarat dan tuntutannya. Untuk itu pada usia remaja ini sangat membutuhkan suatu wadah/tempat untuk berbagi pengalaman hidup, mendapatkan solusi dan informasi tentang perjalanan hidup.

Abstract

This study analyzes the dynamics of religion-based radicalism in Indonesia. It also describes how government carries out mental development for the community to prevent radicalism. The purpose of this study is to determine the roots of religious-based radicalism that occurs in Indonesia. Also to determine the government's strategy in dealing with the problem of radicalism, especially in the field of mental development. This study is expected to provide a solution for this complex situation. Moreover, religious-based radicalism often leads to acts of terrorism. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Literature sources used, both those obtained from within the online and printed ones. Data analysis techniques are carried out based on three stages, namely, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the dynamics of radicalism in Indonesia are related to the global terrorist movement. The government has carried out prevention and counter strategy against terrorism. Some are in the form of community mental development programs. The others are in the form of repressive measures. Prevention and eradication of religious-based radicalism requires the active role of all community exponents. This study is expected to enrich scientific research in the field of mental development, dealing with the harm religious-based radicalism in society.

Abstract

This aims to explore the efforts of counselors in strengthening their personality that is characterize by psychological well-being (PWB) by practicing the values contained in Sufism. The study is a qualitative literature study using a transpersonal psychology approach. The results of the study describe that counselors with psychological well-being characters can synergize intellectual, emotional, and spiritual competence. Efforts are being made to character PWB by appling the values of Sufism amali, namely the devine value, insaniyah and around the globe. Behavior practices conducted by the counsellor are wara’, repentance, praying, dhikr, praying tahajjud, and fasting 6 days in Shawwal, spending wealth in the way of Allah, making friends with the needy and poor and istiqomah in His way. The practice of Sufism practiced by the counsellor has implications for the personality aura of the counselor that becomes a habit in the pre, during, and post counselling services

Abstract

Good parenting is one of the basic needs of children, therefore parents are obliged to provide appropriate parenting styles for children suitable for the era, so that in the end, parents could form children’s characters with good attitude and intelligence that was honed fully. Based on this, the researcher tried to develop modules that could help parents developing good parenting styles. To answer these problems, researchers used research and development methods. This research produced a product in the form of a module entitled "My Great Child". Based on the results of the pretest and posttest data analysis conducted by researchers using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, there was zero negative rank data, there were 10 positive rank data, with no equal value before and after giving Islamic parenting material based on various intelligence. These results show that the average parenting style increase after the use of multiple intelligence-based Islamic parenting modules.

Abstract

This study will examine the development of spirituality through guidance and counseling services in madrasas and schools. The research method used document studies on the development of spirituality in schools and madrasas. The Independent Student Competency Standard Document (SKKPD) is taken from the Operational Guidance for the Implementation of Guidance and Counseling for Junior High Schools (SMP) and Senior High Schools (SMA) published by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016 by juxtaposing Basic Competency Competency Standards ( SKKD) in Islamic Religious Education Subjects. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the development of spirituality in the junior and senior high school level refers to the SKKPD for SMP and SMA and is in line with the Competency Standards for the Subject Group (SKKMP) for the subjects of Islamic Religious Education at that level

Abstract

This research is to observe the collaboration of guidance and counseling teacher with islamic education teacher in handling students’ problems. The subjects of this research were guidance and counseling teacher and islamic education teacher of SMAN 3 Kediri. The data was collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was descriptive qualitative by three stages of data simplification, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The collected data was then arranged and classified for drawing the conclusion. The results showed there were 4 problems of SMAN 3 Kediri students, among others: 1) dating excessively, (2) arriving late, (3) skipping school, and (4) not carrying out midday prayers in congregation. Guidance and Counseling Teachers with Islamic Religious Education teachers formally and informally. Preventive action is also taken by care to minimize the impact of these problems.

Abstract

During the school years, bullying is one of the most common expressions of violence in the peer context. This article present the effect of strengthening the character of Islam to the different attitudes about bullying in junior high school students. The sample were students of School with a range of early teens 12-15 years, Muslim. Taken with Purposive Random Sampling sampling technique, a total of 68 students with the criteria of research subjects are as follows: (1) Students are Muslim; (2) The age range of students is 12-15 years; (3) Having conflicting family experiences; (4) Having experiences of violence, with family and friends. This research is a quasi experimental research, with the design of One Group Pre-test - Post-test Design. Aimed at seeing differences in attitudes towards bullying shown by students before being given a reinforcement treatment of Islamic characters (pre-test) with attitudes towards bullying students after being given treatment reinforcement of Islamic characters (post-test). The statistical analysis technique used in this study is the t-test, which is to measure differences in attitudes about student bullying, between before and after treatment is given to strengthen Islamic character. The results showed a mean difference of 49,677, which means that there was a difference between the average pre-test and post-test results with a difference between 48,399 to 50,955, also known a significance value (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.01 which means there is a very significant difference in attitudes about bullying between before and after being given reinforcement of Islamic Character.
