Abstract

Regions which have the highest population frequency in Indonesia, are Jabodetabek where traffic jams occured almost everyday. PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia has the main duty to provide KRL trips around Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cikarang, Maja, and Rangkasbitung. One of the most crowded is Bogor – Manggarai crossing because of the large number of workers from Bogor to Jakarta using KRL. KRL on that area are still lack because there are many passengers who could not catch the train on rush hour and it is very crowded inside the KRL.. From the statements it is needed to analyse the load factor of the Manggarai - Bogor crossing KRL trip to accommodate the passengers safely and comfortably. This analysis aimed to determine the load factor and saturation cross point of the Bogor - Manggarai KRL. The analysis carried out was expected to get the right results to predict when the saturation cross point of the Bogor - Manggarai crossing which could be seen in terms of passenger growth, and obtain the value of load factors based on those calculations. The results of the study stated that when the peak hour trip was now saturated -3.44 years the load factor 153%, the maximum trip based on the initial trip was saturated -1.15 years and the load factor 115%, the stamformation trip 12 showed a saturation rate at 0.58 years and a load a factor of 93%. When off peak hour crossing Bogor - Manggarai trip now showed a saturation rate of 2.71 years and a load factor at 72%, a maximum trip based on an initial trip, showing a 5.1 year rate and a load factor at 53%, a stamformasi 12 trip showing a saturation rate 6.76 years and a load factor at 43%.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the dimensions of the rail steel profile have been determined by Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 60 of 2012. The commonly rail which used for 1067mm railway width is the rail type UIC54. However, the determination of rail profile type in Indonesia has not been equipped with an analysis of the rail profile strength to support the load acting on it. Thus, this journal will discuss the calculation of the UIC54 rail strength analysis to support locomotive loads of CC 203, CC 205, and CC 206. The calculation is using Beam on Elastic Foundation (BOEF) method which assumes rail behavior as a continuous beam that support loads above an elastic foundation. The value of UIC rail strength is written in the form of safety factors (SF). The calculation results show that the value of the most critical rail SF to support locomotive loads CC 203, CC 205, and CC 206 are 10.94; 8.93; and 9.67. The results of the rail strength calculation shows that the UIC54 rail is very strong in resisting the dynamic load of the locomotive and its cross section is too large to support the dynamic wheel load of the locomotive.

Abstract

Inspection railway are a re-design of railway that have been made in the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic. Inspection lorry repairs are carried out on the wheels, chassis, drive and body. The new lorry wheels are made of structural iron to reduce the total weight from 148 kg to 119 kg. The size of the wheel conus is the difference between the outer and inner diameter of 30 mm to minimize wheel friction with rails in the curved region. The chassis uses the ledder frame model with emphasis on the strength of 44.29 MPa and 0.095 MPa deflection to get optimal and reliable results on the 1067 track. The material uses galvanized hollow type iron weighing 125 kg. The environmentally friendly drive used in the railway inspection is an BLDC electric motor (brushless direct current) with a capacity of 2000 watts of power, a current of 35A and a rotational speed of 4250 Rpm. The railway inspection body is made of 3 layers fiber reinforced polymers of plastics (FRP) using a hand lay-up method that has a tensile stress value of 40.18 MPa and a strain value of 0.89%. The inspection body focuses on the aesthetics and ergonomics aspects in the form of a more attractive appearance, smoothness of design, passenger comfort and color harmony so that they have high selling.

Abstract

Commuter line in PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) is a means of transportation that transports passengers in Jabodetabek. In the Bogor-Manggarai crossing, several Traction substations are supplied. This study aims to find out how the capacity of substation power capacity in Bogor - Manggarai crossing towards the loading of the current Commuter line operating pattern and how the capacity of substation carrying capacity to increase the loading of KRL operating patterns at peak hour. For this reason, primary and secondary data are analyzed using the calculation formula. Among them: total Commuter line weight, tractive substation power capacity in the Manggarai-Bogor crossroad, power capacity based on headway, power capacity based on maximum current, required capacity, and cross capacity used on multiple lines. It can be concluded that the capacity of the cross-Manggarai-Bogor electric power in the normal 4-minute headway according to GAPEKA 2017 can be fulfilled by the Bojonggede Traction Station. And at peak hours conditions Bojonggede Traction substation can support with 3.75 minutes headway and can be reduced to 3 to 2 minutes.

Abstract

The working principle of the Maglev train is the interaction between the magnetic poles contained in the train with the magnetic poles that are along the train track. The magnetic poles are made of coils with superconducting wires that are electrified. In theory the magnitude of the magnetic field depends on the amount of current flowing, the core of the coil and the number of turns. In this research, a coil with an iron core of 5 cm in length and 8mm in diameter has 400 turns. Characteristic testing is done by directing the electric current in the coil by varying the amount of current. Measurement of the magnetic field is carried out at a certain distance between 0 to 5 cm with a range of 0.5 cm from the end of the coil. The largest magnetic field is produced at the closest distance to the coil and the smallest is at the farthest distance from the coil that is not affected by the magnetic field. The farthest distance that is still affected by the magnetic field is between 25 to 40 cm

Abstract

Land acquisition for public purposes, including for the construction of railroad infrastructure, is a matter that is proposed by all countries in the world. The Indonesian government or the Malaysian royal government needs land for railroad infrastructure development. To realize this, a regulation was made that became the legal umbrella for the government or royal government. The people must agree to regulations that require it. Land acquisition for public use in Malaysia can be completed quickly in Indonesia. The influencing factor is the different perceptions of the understanding of what are in the public interest, history and legal systems of the two countries as well as the people's reaction from the two countries

Abstract

The train is a mass transportation mode that prioritizes timeliness and is scheduled in the operation of railways. This research aims to make it easier for consumers to see the realization of the train journey digitally by using the Delphi program developer. Program input comes from the coordinates detected by the GPS module and then sent to the database by the NodeMCU wifi module. The database used is the MySQL database type. Primary data used in the form of a coordinate point of the station to be passed as well as a simulation of the coordinate point that will be passed by the module. This research was conducted in stages following the Linear Sequential Model (LSM), which consisted of 4 repetitive stages, namely the stages of analysis and study of literature, design, assembly (hardware-assembly), and coding (coding-software), and testing. Testing is done through simulation and direct application on the customer. NodeMCU and GPS module programming use to help of Arduino IDE software suitable to connect modules to the database. Then the database will be linked to the viewer application that will be created with the Delphi program developer
