Abstract

Level crossing security gate equipment is a railroad operating facility that requires an electrical energy source. The use of fossil fuels as fuel for power plants is running low, according to estimates the amount of fossil fuel reserves will be exhausted in about 83 years. To save fossil fuel reserves, we need a backup energy source from renewable energy sources such as wind energy. Wind energy around the railroad track has enormous potential to be used as electrical energy. Micro wind electricity builders in this study use wind turbines with vertical blades and wind directors in the form of fins. Based on the results of research and testing it can be concluded that the vertical wind turbine that is implemented to supply crossing door safety equipment can charge batteries with an average charging current of 3.28 A at an average wind speed of 3.90 m / s and rotation of 278 rpm and produces 39.45 watts of power and 394.5 watts of total energy so that it can charge a 75Ah / 12 volt battery for 22 hours

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Consumer Protection Act has provided legal protection for users of Jakarta MRT transportation services. Besides that, it is also to find out how far the MRT Jakarta is in handling operational disruptions that cause harm to passengers. This research is a descriptive normative legal research. This research uses a qualitative approach. Types of legal materials that are secondary legal materials. In this research, the techniques of collecting legal materials are collected namely: library research and cyber media. In analyzing this legal material the writer uses descriptive qualitative methods. Based on the research, it was obtained that the Consumer Protection Act has provided legal protection for Jakarta MRT transport passengers. The Consumer Protection Act that applies in the provisions described in the regulation is the obligation of the railroad implementing agency namely PT. MRT Jakarta in the event of an interruption is evacuating, refunding and securing equipment in accordance with security and safety aspects.

Abstract

In the Dutch colonial era Madura has already used rail transportation. Initially, the railway transport is only used as a means transport of salt distribution, as the main commodity in Madura, between Kalianget and Kamal and vice versa. The Madura railroad has been completely closed since 1984 due to short distance operation which made the train is less competitive with other public transport. In 2009, because of the opening of the Suramadu bridge the growth of economical and social aspect in Madura especially Bangkalan began to grow. It is characterized by the development plan to build Central Business District (CBD) in the Sukolilo area and also build a container port in the area of ​​Tanjung Bulu Pandan that requires transportation infrastructure for distribution, such as train. The purpose of this research is to choose the best rail alignment in Bangkalan. The method used in this study used Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) which is a method of decision-making plan. This study provides two alternative, first alternative is reactivated existing trace as trace A that is existing trace linking Kamal to Bangkalan. While alternative 2 is build new railway line as trace B which began from tip of the Suramadu bridge to Tunjung. The results showed that building a new railway line was the chosen alternative with spatial criteria being the most important criteria that must take precedence in selecting alternative. Overall, building a new alignment from Suramadu to Bangkalan was considered more important by the respondents when viewed in terms of spatial planning, design, disaster vulnerability and funding needs.

Abstract

Regarding the construction of a double track railway crossing the city of Madiun, precisely in the Nambangan Lor area, the constructions of a new bridge on the south side of the previous bridge is occured. The condition of the Bengawan river in the rainy season has a large water discharge which causes a large flood. The impact of the flood caused scours of sediment in the river and made it possible to erode the sediment around the bridge abutment. Therefore, to reduce the impact of scour sediment on the abutment, a sediment control building is needed. In order to plan this construction, we need minimum rain cycle data from three rain stations which are needed for hydrological analysis, annual rain plan determination, annual flooding and hydraulics analysis to determine the dimensions of the building. The result of this planning obtained that the flood discharge period of 100-year return is 1557,992127 m3 / sec, the flow velocity is 8.319945 m / sec, the width of the boiler light is 3,362374 m, the depth of the foundation is 2,971201 m, the thickness of the floor is 2,1143 m, and floor length is 16.5657 m.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to seee the occupational commitment of facility maintainer at Balaiyasa Yogyakarta. The method used in this study uses data collection tools such as questionnaires and interviews. Based on data retrieval that has been done, it is known that as many as 85% of respondents have a high occupational commitment. The recommendation given to the facility maintainer at Balaiyasa Yogyakarta is to develop training that has been done. Some training that can be carried out based on the categorization of occupational commitment includes skills training, retraining, cross-sectional training, team training, information systems training and soft skills training.

Abstract

Daop 2 Bandung has the potential for high passenger rail transport. With the high demand for passenger transport both for local rail transport and long-distance rail transport, the driving force condition in this case is the locomotive is very influential. Judging from the need for rail transport services, the increasing reliability of the driving facilities, especially the locomotive is very supportive in the operation of rail transport. The mean travel has exceeded the tolerant level of locomotive disturbance that is as much as 30 times the disturbance / 1 million km traveled and the dominant interference occurs in the locomotive CC 203 is the weak power disturbance, hot engine, heat. It is recommended to carry out maintenance of locomotive CC 203 based on the predominant disturbance in locomotive, optimize maintenance of locomotive CC 203 in accordance with applicable SOP, preventive measures and should be cultivated to re-check treatment

Abstract

Curves number 2 and 18 on Manggarai - Jatinegara cross are part of cross in DAOP (Operation Area) 1 Jakarta area. The reliability of an arch in its role in the operation of the railway is important even be a major factor. Therefore, perfection in care is absolute and a major requirement of a condition where the arch can be said to be reliable. But not all arches have the same elevation value as the calculated result. Thus it required an analysis of the level of care arch the arch reliability. From the results of secondary and primary data analysis then obtained data related to the condition of curve number 2 and 18 cross Manggarai - Jatinegara still not good in terms of changes in arrows and rail elevation. Calculation and analysis of data used dilihiat in terms of curved geometry conditions that is curved radius, transverse arch, rail elevation, ideal curve graph conditions and human resources managers. After analyzing the data and then compared with the existing standard, the implementation of curved treatment has been said to be only just not maximal, it can be suggested that it needs to be maintained treatment of the curve condition continues with the inspection in accordance with the provisions and immediately repaired the curved geometry is lacking, Arch back to normal and do maintenance by using the MTT machine at the time of treatment at night so that the implementation of the treatment is more suitable as expected and also did not happen trial and error.

Abstract

The safety of train travel is one of the important components in rail freight transport. Reliability of infrastructure is one of the points to support the safety of the railway. Purwokerto cross - a cross Kutoarjo contoured varied geography in which the right - left rail path there are hills and slopes so that this region including areas prone to landslides. As happened in the field there are avalanches in km 423+100 cause interference a train journey. To examine the handling of landslides that have been carried out by PT.KAI used analysis to solve the problem which is done by comparing the handling procedures for handling should be done, in accordance with the existing provisions. The results of the analysis suggest that there are several factors that resulted in the occurrence of such landslides, such as steep slopes, high rainfall intensity at the time and lack of additional protection in the form of plants that can reduce erosion. Therefore the need for further treatment

Abstract

RINGKASAN Sejak merebaknya virus corona di indonesia awal tahun 2020 telah membawa dampak yang signifikan pada transportasi kereta api. Jumlah penumpang kereta api mengalami penurunan sebagai akibat dari himbauan pemerintah untuk mengurangi aktivitas di luar rumah. PT KAI juga telah membatasi okupansi atau jumlah penumpang hingga 50% dari kapasitas yang seharusnya. Tingkat okupansi tersebut disesuaikan dengan Peraturan Menteri Nomor 25 Tahun 2020 tentang tentang Pengendalian Transportasi Selama Masa Mudik Idul Fitri Tahun 1441 Hijriah Dalam Rangka Pencegahan Penyebaran Covid-19 serta Surat Edaran Gugus Tugas Nomor 4 tentang Kriteria Pembatasan Perjalanan Orang dalam Rangka Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19. Penerapan protocol Kesehatan pada penumoang Kereta Api berdampak pada semakin lamanya waktu boarding karena pengecekan dokumen-dokumen kelengkapan yang diperlukan seperti surat hasil rapid test maupun hasil swab. Pemeriksaan terhadap suhu badan pun juga dilakukan kepada setiap penumpang yang akan naik kereta. Tentunya hal ini menambah prosedur bagi penumpang saat akan naik kereta. Pemakaina masker dan menjaga jarak juga diterapkan selama dalam perjalanan, bahkan selama perjalanan penumpang dilarang berbicara dengan penumpang lainnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka perlunya dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui respon penumpang terkait dengan penerapan protocol Kesehatan selama mas pandemic covid 19. Respon penumoang ini bisa dijadikan referensi bagi pihak operator kereta api dalam mengambil kebijakan pelayanan agar para penumpang tetap bisa merasa terlayani dengan sebaik mungkin. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa penumpang setuju dengan penerapan protocol Kesehatan yang dilakukan oleh PT. KAI meliputi :penumpang menyatakan sangat setuju dengan prosedur pemesanan tiket kereta api yang ditetapkan oleh KAI, penumpang menyatakan sangat setuju dengan prosedur sebelum dan sesudah boarding serta selama perjalanan di kereta api yang ditetapkan oleh KAI, penumpang menyatakan sangat setuju dengan prosedur penanganan kebersihan dan penyediaan fasilitas kebersihan di stasiun dan di kereta api yang ditetapkan oleh KAI, penumpang menyatakan sangat setuju dengan persyaratan surat bebas Covid-19 yang ditetapkan oleh KAI, penumpang cenderung memilih alternatif okupansi penumpang mengurangi jumlah penumpang dengan menaikkan harga tiket.

Abstract

The use of inspection lorries in infrastructure maintenance activities is needed to minimize labor in maintenance and time efficiency. The development of inspection lorries at the Indonesian Railroad Polytechnic of Madiun continues, starting from the motor, wheels, frames, body, rubber dumper and solar panels as the main energy source. The motor uses a BLDC (Brushless direct current) electric motor with a power of 2680 Watts, a current of 35 A and a rotating speed of 4250 Rpm which is environmentally friendly. The development of the inspection lorry uses a monoblock structure with a casting process. The material used comes from nodular cast iron (FCD), having an average hardness of 191 HB. Rubber dampers are known as shock absorbers with a length of 185 mm, a width of 60 mm, and a height of 30 mm. The composition of the Rubber damper material is as follows: 55% natural rubber, 25% Carbon black, 5% White oil, 3% Zine oxide, 2% Accelerator, 2% Anti Oxidant, 3% Steread Axid, and 5% sulfur. The inspection lorry body is made of fiber reinforced polymers of plastics (FRP) type composite material. This composite uses a polymer made from polyester resin as a matrix (binder) and strengthens fibrous glass fibers using the hand lay-up method. Solar panels are the main energy source to supply the electric motor power. Solar panels can work optimally with a Pmax presentation reaching 99.29% and a range of 11 km. The railroad geometry measuring device is equipped with a maxbotic sensor to detect rail road width, a gyroscope as a height difference detector and a KTR displacement sensor to detect rail wear. The design of the PPI Madiun electric inspection lorry has high aesthetic and ergonomic value.
