Abstract

Abutment bridge is a building under the bridge located on both sides of the bridge end. The process of building a bridge abutment often requires excavation to the depth of the abutment base so that the abutment reinforcement and casting work can be carried out. In deep excavation work, each side of the excavation needs to be installed in a flexible retaining wall type (plaster) first. In this study, CCSP stability analysis was carried out on earth excavation work for abutment bridge BH 1751. The calculation method starts from determining the lateral earth pressure acting on the soil, then determining the depth of CCSP planting that is able to produce CCSP stability on the rolling force. The analysis shows that the depth of CCSP planting that meets the safety requirements of the rolling force is 20 m

Abstract

Monthly Maintenance Depok Commuter Line Dipo is a place of care that forms inspection, preparation, storage, maintenance, and repair of rings counted monthly with regular maintenance, where P1 (maintenance every 1 month), P3 (maintenance every 3 months), and P6 (Treatment every 6 boasts). To support Commuter Line maintenance activities, the availability of spare parts / components, quantity and quality of human resources, work equipment, inspection equipment, location, conditions and supporting facilities are sufficient to facilitate maintenance. In conducting maintenance, Depok Commuter Line Dipo Monthly Maintenance has problems, including lack of maintenance equipment and maintenance personnel in the dipo are still lacking, both in terms of quality and quantity. To overcome this problem the method used is to identify the needs of the facility based on the MI (Maintenance Instructions) as a guide in carrying out maintenance and calculate the needs of employees both in number and quality or competence that must be owned by maintenance personnel. From the results of the analysis of the existing problems it can be concluded that the completeness of maintenance facilities in the form of work equipment is still damaged such as compressors and battery changers, lifting jacks, hydraulic jacks, and monthly manure Dipo KRL Depok still needs 24 additional maintenance personnel, and there are 19 People who have not yet participated in functional training competencies. Therefore, it is necessary to add work equipment facilities and increase human resources, as well as improve the quality and quantity of human resources to improve the performance of Depok Commuter Line Dipo Monthly Maintenance

Abstract

Balai Yasa Manggarai is a place to conduct periodic maintenance of railroad facilities. The train maintenance program at Balai Yasa Manggarai in the first quarter of 2017 every month maintenance occurs late in maintenance. To follow up on this problem, an analysis of maintenance support components is seen in terms of Human Resources, Maintenance Equipment, and Maintenance Facilities. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the needs of employees are in accordance with working hours but the competence of personnel does not meet the qualifications indicated by many who do not yet have a Certificate of Maintenance Expertise, there are many equipment that already have old age and maintenance facilities such as underpasses are not suitable because there are standing water that can interfere with the maintenance of the train. Based on the results of the analysis, it is hoped that train infrastructure operators will immediately implement competency enhancements for maintenance personnel, equipment and maintenance facilities in an effort to optimize train maintenance to minimize maintenance delays at Balai Yasa Manggarai

Abstract

PT KA Tourism continues to innovate to attract customers, one of which is by introducing KA Priority. The services offered by Priority KA are specifically intended for passengers who want more comfort during the trip. The interaction of passengers with the services provided is a special experience for passengers. Passenger experience can be felt through personal experience (customer experience) and from the experience of enjoying services while traveling (service experience). Prestige is a separate consideration for passengers in the use of a classy mode such as the Priority Train due to the luxury of the facilities offered. This study aims to determine the effect of variables that shape customer experience and service experience, namely sense, feel, think, act, relate, incentive, accessibility, convenience, utility, environment, benefits, trust and prestige on the frequency of passenger travel. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents using random sampling techniques. The collected data is then processed using multiple linear regression models. The results showed that variables that influence the frequency of passenger trips are sense, incentive, convenience, environment and prestige

Abstract

Determination of the service life of rails is important to do in order to avoid fatal damage. The estimated service life of components can be reviewed based on wear factors. This paper tries to calculate and compare the service life based on the formula for calculating the wear of the rail with the AREMA method that uses the empirical formula from Hay and uses the PT KAI method. The results show varying values ​​for existing crossings in the Madiun operating area, according to railroad specifications, cross loads, and railroad geometry. However, it is not possible to oppose the existing road conditions because there are limited data on the results of testing of the railroad being operated.

Abstract

Mojokerto and Sidoarjo are two strategic and connected region in East Java which generate a significant travel demand. KA Jenggala (“perintis” subsidies) is one of public transport choice connected those area that has served for 5 years with rates Rp.4.000,00 per trip. The cheapness of subsidies ticket is good for pssengers but on the other hand it creates significant burden to state budget. This study aims to obtain a balance point from both sides. Using the ATP WTP method, it found that ATP value is Rp.11.552,00 and existing WTP is Rp.4.000,00. When passenger offered with the service improvement that are cash and cashless ticketing systems, frequency increase, journey and waiting time reduction and on-time performance improvement, the WTP value becomes Rp.6.500,00. The price adjustment by Rp.6.500,00 is welcomed by passenger if the service improvement implemented.

Abstract

Intelligent wheelchairs are motorized resting media designed to help users with physical limitations, where an artificial control system is added or used to replace user controls. The aim is to reduce or eliminate the user's duty to drive a motorized wheelchair. At the station there are still many places that are still not accessible by persons with disabilities. As the difference between platform and train height, usually there are stairs that support to enter the train. Therefore the writer makes an innovation so that it can make it easier for people with disabilities to move up stairs in a wheelchair. The design of the wheelchair design uses a crawler type with the help of universal plates from Tamiya, the gearbox uses Twin Motor with a rotation ratio of 204: 1. Servo motor mounted on the seat which is supported by a gyro sensor as a counterweight to the chair when the position of the chair up or down. In the DC motor and servo PID method is added so that the motion changes can be smooth. PID is installed when testing the equilibrium results obtained a little stable oscillation at Kp = 0.27, Ki = 0.0004, and Kd = 0.0001, while when testing the speed obtained the most stable conditions at Kp = 2, Ki = 1, Kd = 0.25.

Abstract

Human resource management is one of the sciences in managing the workforce (HR) to be effective and efficient in helping to realize the goals of an organization. The Indonesian Railroad Polytechnic as one of the higher education institutions formed to prepare superior human resources in the field of railways. The Indonesian Railroad Polytechnic makes various efforts in improving the quality of education quality. The increasingly sharp HR preparation competition has implications for the Indonesian Railways Polytechnic institutional organization to make quality-oriented changes by motivating employees and lecturers to work harder in a professional manner. The hope is that employees will further improve performance in accordance with predetermined standards. However, the reality is that the existing management model has not been able to improve the performance of staff and lecturers. This is evident that based on data obtained from the Head of Personnel in April 2019 that of 150 employees around 25 employees who work are not in accordance with the field of expertise owned, thus providing a significant influence on employee performance results. Besides that, some lecturers are less motivated to do Higher Education Tri Darma, such as community service and research. In this study, researchers wanted to develop a HR management model to improve employee performance. The method used in this research is Research & Development (R&D). The results of research on competency-based HR Management Model can improve the performance of lecturers and staff to be more productive.

Abstract

Distributor valve is one part of the air braking system that functions as a pressure regulator between the brake cylinder, auxiliary reservoir and brake pipe on the braking system that requires maintenance. In reality in the field, there is maintenance still found disturbances in the distributor valve, so it is considered to hamper the effectiveness of maintenance. Therefore it is necessary to make research to find out what are the factors that often cause interference with distributor valve maintenance. In this study an analysis was done using a Pareto diagram to determine the percentage of interference that often occurs in the distributor valve maintenance results. After analysis, the results are 1) the pressure on the brake cylinder is more than 3.8 bar at 37.7%, 2) the release time is more than 20s time (standard 15-20s) at 26.6%, 3) the application / brake time is more than 5s (3-5s standard) at 20% and 4) leakage in the distributor valve cracks at 15.5%. From the results of research and direct observation in the field it can be seen that the factors causing interference after distributor valve maintenance on the train is the incompatibility of procedures and tools used to treat distributor valves.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a prototype tool to improve the resistance of railroad tracks. The method in this study was carried out with the concept of surface treatment theory, then described using solidwork software in the form of prototype design. As a validation of the prototype design, preliminary research was carried out by giving heat treatment to the railroad tracks by utilizing the oxy-acetylene gas neutral flame and quenching quickly. Furthermore the railroad tracks were tested for hardness and microstructure. Rail test results are known to occur an increase in the value of hardness by 30 VHN and changes in the martensitic microstructure.
