<![CDATA[Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning protection of children also guarantees the fulfillment of children's rights to survival, growth and development and is entitled to protection from violence and discrimination. Fulfillment of the rights of basic needs and protection for children in the scope of West Aceh has not yet been fully implemented. The process of conducting the socialization was carried out by the method of exposure and discussion of legal counseling materials about the role and obligations of the Government in providing legal protection to children who need legal assistance. The participation of all parties in paying attention to the protection of children is one thing that is very urgent. Given cases involving children in conflict with the law both as perpetrators and victims, often ignoring the rights of children who should be protected by laws and regulations. This is what needs to be done by all parties to encourage the West Aceh District Government to immediately give birth a Qanun on Child Protection. So that with regulations specifically related to child protection, children's rights are guaranteed by law. ]]>

<![CDATA[Reading is one of the types of questions asked in National Examination. Senior High School/ MA/ SMK students face difficulties in answering reading questions because they require to analize and compare the passage. Based on the results of a study by the Research Center of the Ministry of Education and Culture (2019), only under 50% of students were able to answer the English National Examination questions. Based on these facts, it is necessary to hold a socialization about understanding English test questions and the types of questions asked in the National Examination. In this community service activity, students of SMKN 1 Samatiga who will face the National Examination are the target of the activity. This activity was carried out by lecturing, discussion and simulation test questions. After being given an understanding of the tricks in answering reading questions, the test results showed that students get scores above 50 for each aspect of the question discussed, namely: main ideas, direct and indirect questions, pronoun references, and vocabulary meaning.]]>

Jurnalisme kampus yang merupakan ranah jurnalistik di era industri 4.0 mempunyai tujuan sebagai sarana mengedukasi mahasiswa dan publik. Jurnalisme kampus jangan sampai dipengaruhi dan terjebak dalam narasi publik yang sarat dengan kepentingan pihak tertentu. Sebagai bagian dari kelompok terdidik, mahasiswa juga harus memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan potensi dalam dirinya. Salah satunya adalah dalam dunia tulis menulis. Mahasiswa harus mengembangkan potensinya semaksimal mungkin, tidak hanya di bidang akademik, tetapi juga harus kreatif dan memiliki semangat inovasi. Mahasiswa adalah orang dapat memberikan perubahan di dalam bermasyarakat. Akhir 2018, Indonesia dikejutkan dengan hadirnya sistim revolusi industry 4.0, dan ini salah satu momok yang sangat menyeramkan dikalangan mahasiswa Indonesia. <![CDATA[This community service activity was carried out in Kali Upa village, Tobelo Tengah sub-district, with the aim of increasing community knowledge and technology in the cultivation of yard plants, so that each family could strengthen food through these activities. The method used in this activity was counseling and continued with discussions with villagers as a process for transferring knowledge. This service is carried out as one of the village programs to improve the ability of the community to manage their yards of land so that the produce can be consumed as an additional source of family income. Optimizing the use of the yard by planting various types of agricultural crops can meet the food needs of the community also increase community income. In addition, food availability is one of the important factors in supporting community food security, because it is one indicator of welfare of life. Kali Upa Village is an area that has a flat topography and belongs to a group of narrow yard - medium yards, so that the use of plots can be done by combining various types of plants, including a combination of fruit plants, vegetable plants, food plants and other local plants which are adjusted with yard area.]]>

In this case, political education in question is the lack of awareness and awareness of young people to be active and participate in giving their opinions and input to political issues so that they do not participate in the implementation of the General Election has raised challenging issues for the balance of a regional government system. . The implementation of this service is a socialization carried out face to face by delivering material related to the theme of devotion. <![CDATA[Positive literacy is the ability of individuals in languages such as writing, reading, or speaking well that has a positive impact. In the era of development of communication and information technology, one of the media that can increase the ability to titrate is social media. Steemit is a weblog type social media that has been popular since 2017. The aim of this service is to be able to socialize the concept of positive literacy by using the new Steemit social media on Santri Dayah Darul Muta?allimin, West Aceh. Service methods used are lectures and training. The results obtained in this service are strengthening of students with an emphasis on understanding the concept of positive literacy, techniques for registering and using social media Steemit, as well as understanding about building networks and getting rewarded through literacy on Steemit social media.]]>

<![CDATA[The term Gampong means village which is a division of administrative territory in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. Thus, the Village Development Work Plan (RKPG) which is an obligation in the governance of the development of the Village of Gunong Kleng for the sake of community life. This RKPG becomes the obligation of the regional government in guiding the Gampong government apparatus in development management in accordance with applicable regulations. The general objective of this service is to build a good partnership between BAPPEDA and the Gampong government in realizing the regional development strategic plan through a bottom-up approach in sustainable development plans. Specific objectives in this service activity consist of, First; to enhance BAPPEDA and Gampong Government partnerships in Development planning; Secondly, it can realize the village development plan in accordance with the results of the musrenbang; Third, the implementation of development can be controlled through the document form RKPG provisions that have been determined in accordance with applicable regulations. The assistance model in the community service activities for the Gampong community to be able to fulfill the program of this activity can be carried out through 4 (four) stages, namely the FGD on the RKPG and RPJMG provisions, the Socialization of the MURENBANGDES Implementation Mechanism, the implementation of a social control mechanism that is directly imposed by the community in accordance with the RKPG provisions. The results of community service assistance are carried out through a bottom-up development model approach in the RKPG in the village of Gunong Kleng to plan the development of the Gampong in accordance with the Gampong RPJMG that has been set. Implementation of the development can increase community participation, and can increase the value of community trust in the Gampong government in governance. development in a transparent, accountable and sustainable development in Gampong Gunong Kleng, West Aceh.]]>

<![CDATA[This article wants to see how the participation of women in Meureubo sub-district in welcoming the democratic party during the election of legislative candidates in April 2019. As is known, the involvement of women in politics is still very low. The method used is the Lecture method and then discusses with women representatives from several villages in the Meureubo sub-district. The results show that some of them chose women legislative candidates due to various reasons, namely only women who understood about women so that there was a need for women's representation in parliament, women rarely tripped over corruption cases, women were not equal to men. But for those who do not vote for women legislative candidates due to reasons, namely women are not fit to be leaders, the election of women candidates is only for fulfillment of the quota so that party choices are less than optimal, women are less capable of politics. However, in the end they only hoped that the representation of women or men in the legislature could help empower other women, especially from Meurebo sub-district.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to provide information so that farmers can utilize and apply liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste (MOL) to rice plants in the village of Cot Darat, Sama Tiga District, West Aceh Regency. The method used to achieve these objectives is through counseling using participatory and on-site practice. The stages of its implementation are through counseling methods in the form of material exposure on vegetable waste MOL, discussion of farmer groups on site, training in processing organic waste into biocomposers together with farmer groups. The results of this service show that the level of knowledge and understanding of technology for processing vegetable waste into organic fertilizer can be absorbed (controlled) by rice farmers. All members of the group consist of various ages ranging from 30 to 50 years. One indicator in determining work productivity in conducting business development is the age level, where the age of farmers who are relatively young is stronger, work smart, easy to accept new innovations.]]>
