Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis web untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Kota Makassar (2) Untuk mengetahui minat siswa dalam penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis web untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 8 Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis eksperimental research dengan meteode quasi eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 8 Makassar dengan popolasi 810 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampling secara random. Total sampel yang digunakan adala 30 siswa. Peneliti membagi sampel menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Intrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah test, angket dan wawancara. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web sangat menarik untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web dapat membantu mahasiswa mengembangkan kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia siswa. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Web Menggunakan sangat efektif untuk diterapkan untuk menghindari kejenuhan dan kebosanan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

English teaching is a process that the teacher interacts with students. Asking and answering are the primary ways to communicate with each other, so questioning plays a central role in classroom. It urges students to think actively and develops their creative thinking. Because of the importance of questions to the research process, one of the things a teacher at a university tries to teach students is how to ask good questions, and how to answer them appropriately. This makes the process of questioning important in every class taught at a university. Questions are important to the students in a class for two reasons: (1) Students learn to ask questions by asking questions. Students learn to ask good questions by asking questions and then receiving feedback on them. Abstract

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Chips Terhadap Pengenalan Lambang Bilangan Romawi Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Di Kabupaten Maros, Fathimah Az.zahra Nasiruddin, Universitas Bosowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips terhadap pengenalan lambang bilangan romawi pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Maros. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one-Group Pretest-Posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunkan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips terhadap pengenalan lambang bilangan romawi pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Maros, dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif yang menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 72,53 serta pada hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang menunjukan keantusiasan, keaktifan dalam bertanya dan menjawab, ketertarikan terhadap model pembelajaran, serta sikap siswa ketika belajar yang termasuk baik. Berdasarkan analisis statistik inferensial diperoleh hasil uji “t” yang menunjukan nilai sebesar 9,78 lebih besar dari sebesar 2,064 pada taraf signifikasi 0,05 sehingga Hipotesis alternatif ) yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking chips terhadap pengenalan lambang bilangan romawi pada siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Maros.

Abstract

This study examined the effect dictogloss technique in improving the listening comprehension. Dictogloss comes from two words, they are dictation and glosary. Beside that, dictogloss is a technique in which the teacher reads a short text and the learners make brief notes and then try to reconstruct the text in groups. The populations of this research are the second semester of accounting department Academic Years 2015/2016 in which the number of population are 280 students. Because of the population is too large, the researcher used cluster random sampling. This research used quasy experimental with control cass and experimental class. This research also use the pre test and post test find out the different between the class with teach by dictogloss technique and teach by conventionl methode. In this technique, the students teach by using multi media. So, the students listen from the speaker about the materials. But, before come to listening the teacher give explanation and describe about the materials that will teach then the students try to predict what kind of the materials. In this method there are some stages, they are; preparing, dictation, reconstructions, analysis and correction. Based on the research findings, most of the students enjoy and like with this methode because they can find out more new words. The data research show that null hypothesis was rejected and then the alternatife hypothesis was accepted

Abstract

Keaktifan siswa mengikuti pelajaran matematika biasanya sangat kurang, karena matematika dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang sangat menakutkan bagi sebagaian siswa. Semua diperparah oleh strategi pembelajan yang dibawakan guru. Pembelajaran yang dibawakan guru pada umumnya masih berpusat pada guru tidak pada siswa. Bisanya hasil akhir atau hasil belajar dari siswa tidak sesuai dengan harapan. Berbagai masalah di atas, peneliti melakukan riset dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Sungguminasa dengan jumlah siswa 41 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, angket respon siswa, dan tes hasil belajar yang diberikan pada setiap akhir siklus. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 2 Sungguminasa. Ini dapat dilihat dari skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa yang pada siklus I sebesar 59,39. Pada siklus II skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 83,93. Data hasil observasi di setiap siklusnya menunjukkan adanya perubahan sikap siswa ke arah yang lebih positif, baik dari segi sikap dalam belajar, keaktifan, maupun kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Matematika murupakan pelajaran yang dianggap sangat sulit dan momok menakutkan untuk sebagian orang. Pelajaran matematika akan mudah jika dikerjakan dan disukai oleh siswa itu sendiri. Kedisiplinan bisa membuat pelajaran matamatika bisa dianggap mudah oleh siswa. Tujuan dari penelitia ini yaitu untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh disiplin terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 35 Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 35 Makassar pada Kelas VII, dengan sampel sebanyak 95 orang. Hasil dari penelitian adalah disiplin berpengaruh pada hasil belajar matematika begitu juga sebaliknya. Kedisiplinan baik di sekolah maupun di luar akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa

Abstract

SMK Negeri 10 Jeneponto is a Vocational School located in Sapaloe Tolo Timur Kelurahan, Kelara District, Jeneponto Regency. This school has facilities that support students and teachers to utilize IT in teaching and learning. The facilities are Computer Lab and internet connection. However, after conducting interviews with the principal of SMK Negeri 10 Jeneponto, those facilities are not yet utilized optimally. Therefore, it is proposed to do community service that applying GAFE to maximize those facilities. This Community service has some steps. They are website development, GAFE account creation, socialization of the school website, socialization of the GAFE for teachers and evaluation of community service activities. The results of this community service is the schools can manage the web pages themselves. The teachers stated that it is very necessary to implement GAFE to support learning activities in schools but it is still constrained on internet networks that are less stable and not all students have smartphones to support them using GAFE.

Abstract

Vocabulary is the heart of a language because it involves the basic building of English sentences. Without a meaningful vocabulary, the four basic skills of language namely speaking, listening, reading, and writing would never be complete. As vocabulary is the principal issue for English learning, this current research was conducted to see the effectiveness of the Board Race Game to improve the students’ mastery of vocabulary. The research was conducted in Tsanawiyah Babul Khaer, Bulukumba. There were 30 students of the second grade in the academic year 2018/2019 who participated in this study which was selected through purposive sampling. In collecting the data, the researchers used the pre and post design of the experimental group. The researchers analyzed the average score of each test to find out the increase in students’ vocabulary mastery after the action was conducted. After the researchers have treated the game in four meetings, the students’ vocabulary mastery has increased significantly. It could be seen from the score of pre-test was 30,46 and the posttest was 78,2 where the gain of both tests was 47,73. After applying the action, the researchers were able to solve the problem in increasing students’ vocabulary mastery. Thus, because of this kinesthetic game was successfully to create a fun atmosphere in the teaching and learning process and increase the students’ mastery of vocabulary, it is suggested to use board race game as the alternative media in teaching English.

Abstract

The aim of this research is, "To find out the description of mathematical logic abilities of group A children before and after in the form of Puzzle play activities in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal III Kindergarten Karunrung Branch and whether or not the influence of Puzzle play activities on the mathematical ability of Group A children in Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal III Karunrung Branch. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach to the type of Pre-Experimental research with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a population of 13 research populations and does not determine the sample because of the small population. Data collection techniques carried out by observation and documentation techniques. Data collection procedures performed were planning, giving pretest, giving treatment, giving posttest and analyzing the results. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis using Wilcoxon different test analysis. The results showed that the value of children's mathematical logic abilities at the posttest and pretest were different. The results of hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon different test showed that there was an effect of the activity of playing a puzzle on the ability of children's mathematical logic in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal III Karunrung Group A

Abstract

This research was based on students’ problems regarding the students’ vocabulary mastery in English teaching. Where the mean score was categorized as fair classification. Most of the students were not active in learning English language and also hard to understand learning material. Consequently, the students’ vocabulary mastery was low. The objective was to find out wheter the use of hyponymy game able to improve the vocabulay mastery of the students. The researcher applied quasi-experimental method, with two-group pre-test post-test design. The test form was vocabulary test that related to describtive text which consisted of 25 items. The samples was chosen by using random sampling technique which consisted of 60 students of the Tenth Grade Students of SMK Negeri 3 Parepare. Where X.TKJ.1 as experimental class and X.Multimedia.1 as control class. The result of the data analysis showed that the students’ vocabulary mastery improved significantly. It was proved by the mean score of pre-test was 55.86 and the post-test was 81.57. The mean score of the students in post-test was higer than Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (71) in SMK Negeri 3 Parepare. After analyzing the data by using SPSS 21, the result of probability value in post-test was (0.00) it was lower than significance value (α) = (0.05). Those indicated that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. It means that the students’ vocabulary mastery where taught by hyponymy game was effective to improve the vocabulary mastery of Tenth Garade Students at SMK Negeri 3 Parepare of academic year 2016/2017.
