Abstract

Learning outcomes are basically influenced by many factors, one of which is the use of learning methods. Teacher creativity in presenting learning material using various methods has implications for the low quality of social studies learning outcomes which has an impact on students' low interest in learning. Through experimental research on social studies learning using the Snowball Throwing Method, researchers examined the results of social studies learning using this method, can the snowball throwing method improve social studies learning outcomes for the better? An experimental study conducted on class VIII students at SMP 1 Samarang showed that student learning outcomes before implementing the snowball throwing learning model in social studies subjects were still low because the teacher prepared an interesting learning model, not knowing what the teacher had to do. when students feel less enthusiastic about learning, especially in social studies subjects, when student learning outcomes after applying the social studies learning model become better or can be said to have improved compared to previous learning outcomes. The snowball throwing learning method can improve social studies learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of human resources through social sciences which must be introduced to students at an early age. Of course, in introducing social sciences, teachers must use learning models so that teaching and learning activities can be achieved in accordance with learning objectives. The formulation of the problem in this research article is how a teacher conveys learning related to social sciences. Apart from that, what learning models can teachers use in teaching social sciences? The aim of this research is so that readers can understand the many learning models that can be used to increase students' understanding of the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence. This research uses a qualitative research method which uses types of data in the form of results from journal literature, books and other scientific papers as references for writing research. The results of this research show that there are several learning models that educators can use in teaching and learning activities about the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the basic values ​​that lecturers must have and understand as State Civil Servants and to actualize the basic values ​​of ASN through the use of the jigsaw learning method. Through this habituation activity, it is hoped that it can become a benchmark for success in improving public services. There are 6 supporting activities chosen to complete the selected core issue, namely creating and packaging learning plans that focus on student activity. deliver learning material using the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model, compose questions in varied forms, carry out formative evaluations, check student exam/test results, and carry out analysis of student exam/test results. The research findings are that the actualization of ANEKA values ​​that has been implemented has succeeded in motivating and increasing students' understanding and activeness with innovative learning models in the Basic Occupational Health and Safety course. This increase in understanding can be seen from the results of evaluation tests in participating in learning during actualization and increasing student activity during learning time. By analyzing the evaluation results, it was found that students' learning completeness was rated as very good at 35%, good at 50%, and quite good at 15%.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of community leaders in fostering tolerance between religious communities in Karang Baru Village, Mataram City, as well as finding out other things related to tolerance in society. The type of research used in this research uses qualitative methods, a descriptive approach and a phenomenological theoretical basis. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The technique for testing the validity of data uses triangulation (combination). Thus, researchers can see how community figures foster tolerance between existing religious communities through the roles that community figures carry out in accordance with their position.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of KKG and routine supervision of school principals on improving the quality of elementary schools, especially in Garut Kota District. The method used in this research is a correlational descriptive method. The object of research and also the population in this research are school principals and elementary school teachers in Garut Kota District. Meanwhile, 137 respondents were sampled in this study, drawn equally from school principals and teachers. The data collection techniques used were documentation studies and field studies. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is statistical analysis using a path analysis model. The results of research on the implementation of the KKG in Garut Kota District are felt by teachers to be not optimal, so efforts need to be made to further improve various activities that are beneficial for the development of teacher professionalism. Routine supervision of school principals shows that in general elementary school principals in Garut Kota District have not fully carried out routine supervision as they should. The quality of the school also shows quite good criteria. The results of research hypothesis testing can be concluded that the implementation of KKG and routine supervision of school principals has a positive influence on improving the quality of elementary schools in Garut City District, Garut Regency, both individually and jointly (simultaneously).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the extent of the role of the Village Government and Traditional Institutions in implementing Customary Law and the Effectiveness of Implementing Customary Sanctions according to Village Regulation Number 07 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of Customary Sanctions Solo Hulir Sea'ng Hala. This research method was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in the research were the Village Head, Traditional Leader and BPD. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results show that the role of the Village Government is as a Mediator, Facilitator, Motivator, Justice of the Peace and Traditional Institutions play the role of a Mediator, Regulator, Justice of the Peace. The effectiveness of the implementation of customary sanctions by the Koting D Village Government can be said to be effective, because the implementation of customary sanctions is truly carried out and precisely according to its target and before being implemented, these rules are first disseminated to the community so that the community understands the regulations that have been made.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a learning model that suits the demands of the times in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. which has had an impact on shifting the paradigm of learning patterns, namely learning patterns that use technology versus learning that does not use technology, as well as differences in the concept of learning in the classroom (classroom setting) to digital learning that does not always have to be in the classroom. This research uses a Research and Development approach by grouping it into three stages, namely: 1) Preliminary Study, 2) Program planning and preparation and 3) program trial. This research was carried out at SMP Negeri 92 Jakarta, in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling by taking a sample of one study group in class VII of SMP Negeri 92 Jakarta. The results of this research developed an infusing blended learning model carried out using a cooperative and contextual learning model with a scientific approach and integrating or incorporating digital information technology into learning using Google Classroom and Kahoot! succeeded in improving participant learning outcomes and student learning activeness. So it can be concluded that the use of the infusing blended learning model by integrating Google Classroom and Kahoot! Social studies learning is in accordance with the industrial revolution 4.0 which is characterized by the use of internet-based information technology and can be used as an alternative for teachers in carrying out learning innovations.

Abstract

National resilience will only be realized when it is supported by resilience in the layers below, namely regional/regional resilience. Regional/regional resilience is also impossible to create if there is no resilience at the family (self/individual) level. The Covid-19 pandemic has the potential to threaten the national resilience of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, the role of the family as a supporting pillar of national resilience must be increased. The family as the smallest social unit in society has the responsibility to produce the next generation who is superior and competitive, educating the nation's children who have balanced intellectual, moral and spiritual intelligence. This article aims to explain the condition of family resilience during the Covid-19 Pandemic and explain the contribution of families in realizing community resilience which has an impact on strengthening the nation's national resilience. Data collection in this research was carried out using the interview method and distributing questionnaires to respondents. A qualitative approach was chosen in this study through a study of relevant literature.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out more about the role of the Village Government in improving the welfare of the fishing community and the inhibiting factors of the Village Government in improving the welfare of the fishing community in Wairbleler Village, Waigete District, Sikka Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach method. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in this research are the village government and fishing communities. Data collection techniques used include observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction (data reduction), data display (data presentation) and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of the research that the Wairbleler Village Government has carried out its role by providing motivation in the form of procuring FADs, providing fishing gear facilities and providing training, the Wairbleler Village Government has carried out its role well to meet all the needs and problems of the fishing community and for various inhibiting factors the welfare of the fishing community in the form of a budget, late distribution, uneven distribution of assistance. This study suggests that the Wairbleler Village Government together with the Sikka District Fisheries Service provide facilities and pay more serious attention so that there is an even distribution of assistance so that it can increase the capture power of fishery products.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the Role of Customary Institutions in Applying Customary Law to Immoral Acts and to find out what are the inhibiting factors of Customary Institutions in Applying Customary Law to Immoral Acts. This research method was carried out with a qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The informants involved in the research were the Customary Institution, the Village Secretary, and the Village Consultative Body. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the research show that the Role of Traditional Institutions as Helping to Resolve Conflicts or Problems, Places of Mediation and Participation. The inhibiting factors for customary institutions in applying customary law to immoral acts are low public awareness of the law, educational factors and association factors. This study suggests that the Tilang Village government together with the Customary Institution reaffirm customary law regarding immoral acts in new village regulations, so that they are not static but dynamic and in the administration of governance if there are differences in norms or national law and customary law, solutions and anticipation are needed fast.
