Abstract

Teaching and learning process at Public Health Studies Program at Manado State University was hoped can be carried out well not only in theory but at practical activity. One of the practicum that was carried out was parasitology practicum. Practical activities carried out for 4 to 5 hours. At the end of the practicum, students often experience symptoms such as feeling sore, stiff and tired and the lab accuracy was not good. This condition need to be corrected to the activities carried out during carrying out the practicum, especially from the workload of students. Therefore, a descriptive experimental study was carried out by the observational method to all students of Grade A semester IV enrolled in the parasitology practicum courses. The number of student were 25 students. The workload analysis was done by measurements of heart rate, environment conditions, subjective fatigue, musculoskeletal disorders and Extra Calorie due to Peripheral Temperature (ECPT) and Extra Calorie due to Peripheral Metabolism (ECPM). The environment factors measured is dry temperature, wet temperature, relative humidity, light intensity, and noise. The results of the study show that the workload of students is moderate category that requires further intervention. There is a significant increase in subjective fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders before and after practicum. Because of ECPM is greater than ECPT, it is necessary to improve working conditions related to student physical activity that refers to the rules of ergonomics, improvement of work posture, adjustment the time of practicum and rest time, adjusting practicum equipment in according with student anthropometry, and controlling work environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Nelayan adalah sebagian orang yang aktivitas kerjanya mencari atau melakukan penangkapan ikan. Aktivitas nelayan saat bekerja sering menggunakan posisi tubuh yang tidak alamiah dengan keluhan pada leher, bahu, punggung, pinggang, lengan dan pantat. Keluhan musculoskeletal merupakan gangguan atau keluhan yang dirasakan seperti pegal-pegal, rasa sakit, dan rasa nyeri pada bagian otot. Posisi-posisi kerja yang tidak ergenomis akan mengakibatkan keluhan-keluhan pada anggota tubuh salah satunya keluhan musculoskeletal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan posisi kerja dengan keluhan musculoskeletal pada pekerja nelayan di Desa Gemeh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Dengan menggunakan OWAS dalam menilai posisi kerja dan NBM untuk mengukur keluhan musculoskeletal. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakn di Desa Gemeh Kecamatan Gemeh Kabupaten Talaud pada bulan juni-juli 2020. Total sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 27 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji rank spearman dengan tingkat kemaknaan a=0,05. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara posisi kerja dengan keluhan musculoskeletal p value=0,024 dengan nilai r value= 0,906 yang berarti kekuatan hubungan antara variabel posisi kerja dengan keluhan musculskeletal sangat kuat dan searah. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh tersebut pekerja nelayan diharuskan memperhatikan posisi kerja yang baik dan jika pekerja nelayan menggunakan posisi kerja yang buruk diharuskan segera mengubah posisi tersebut agar tidak mengakibatkan cidera, kecelakaan dan keluhan yang kelak dapat membahayakan tubuh. Kata Kunci : Posisi Kerja, Keluhan Muskuloskeletal, Nelayan ABSTRACT Welavan is that some of his violent activities seek or make fising. Fising on the job often uses unnaturally located posture with complaints on the shoulders of the backs of arms and buttocks. Musculoskeletal compleints are complex or complex grievance like muscle aches and muscle aches. A less ergonomic position would leade to complaints in the limbs of one of them musculoskeletal complaints. The purpose of this research was to analyze the working relationship with musculoskeletal complaints on the fishermen in gemeh village. The type of research used in this study is analytic observation with a sectional cross approach. By using OWAS methods assess work positions and NBM to measure musculoskeletal complaints. The research location is carried out in the Gemeh distric of Talaud in june-july 2020. Total sample in the study is 27 respondents. The statistical test was used at rank spearman with prosperity rate of 0,05. Statistical test revealed a significant link between the working posistion and a musculosceletal p value=0,024 with an r value 0=906. The resulting work required attention to good work posistions and that if the fishermen’s work used a poor work position was required to change the the position immediately so as not to cause accident injuries and complainst that could later harm the body. Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia untuk dapat hidup layak dan produktif, sehingga diperlukan penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan yang terkendali dalam biaya dan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi tentang pentingnya kualitas pelayanan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Cenderawasih Dobo. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah bivariat dan univariat. Kualitas Pelayanan RS Cenderawasih Dobo Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi yang telah dilakukan terhadap 40 responden pasien rawat inap RS Cenderawasih Dobo terlihat bahwa sebagian besar responden menilai kualitas pelayanan. RS Cenderawasih Dobo memiliki kategori baik yaitu 27 responden atau 67,5%, sedangkan 12 responden cukup baik atau 30%, dan kurang baik 1 orang dengan persentase 2,5%. Begitu pula sebaliknya dengan Kepuasan Pasien di RSUD Cenderawasih Dobo dari 40 responden pasien rawat inap yang berobat di RSUD Cenderawasih Dobo, sebesar 57,5%, sedangkan kategori puas sebanyak 16 responden atau 40,0% dan kategori tidak puas sebanyak 1 responden atau 2,5%. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Squrae menunjukkan nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,000 atau nilai p lebih kecil dari nilai yaitu 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan dengan kepuasan pasien rawat inap. di RS Cenderawasih Dobo.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: IDENTIFICATION OF ERGONOMIC ASPECTS AT WELDING WORKSHOP AT LPKA KELAS II TOMOHON Introduction: LPKA Kelas II Tomohon Is a Special Children's Development Institution that has the duties and functions of to build, guide and protect every student who has problems with the law. One of the coaching programs implemented is welding process training to improve the creativity of community students. Purpose: This research aims to identify the application of eight aspects of ergonomics to welding workshop participants in LPKA Kelas II Tomohon.Method: The design of this study is an observational analytical approach that is observation without intervention to uncover the facts of a cause and effect described descriptively. This research was conducted by observing the workings and work environments including, human interaction of machines, and the physical environment. This research is focused on the training process of welding practice. Respondents from this study amounted to 14 respondents who took welding training. The study was conducted from May 2021 to June 2021.Result: Based on observations and measurements that are known that in working conditions in welding workshops are still not ergonomic, it can be seen from the absence of physiological work attitude arrangements when doing activities, irregular rest arrangements, lack of muscle stretching activity at rest, and the use of welding glasses and masks that have not been applied when doing the welding process. Conclusion: Based on the identification of the application of 8 aspects of ergonomics that are still a priority of attention that are at risk of health problems in worksop participants, namely from aspects of work attitudes that are still not in accordance with physiological / ergonomic attitudes, the social condition of the participant's work culture is still lacking in the culture of the use of personal protective equipment to ensure work safety, and human-machine interaction is still not appropriate, namely from the correct use of tools in accordance with their function,  Work facilities such as desks have not met, fiber working conditions that can still pose health risks to workers that need to be a concern. Keywords: ergonomic aspects, occupational health, welding    INTISARI : IDENTIFIKASI ASPEK-ASPEK ERGONOMI DI WORKSHOP PENGELASAN DI LPKA KELAS II TOMOHON Pendahuluan: LPKA Kelas II Tomohon adalah Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak yang memiliki tugas dan fungsi utnuk mebina, membimbing dan mengayomi setiap anak didik permasyarakatan yang bermasalah dengan hukum. Salah satu program pembinaan yang dilaksanakan yaitu pelatihan proses pengelasan untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas anak didik permasyarakatan.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan delapan aspek ergonomi pada peserta workshop pengelasan di LPKA Kelas II Tomohon.Metode: Rancangan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan analitik-observasional yaitu pengamatan tanpa intervensi untuk mengungkap fakta suatu sebab-akibat yang diuraikan secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi terhadap cara kerja dan lingkungan kerja meliputi, interaksi manusia mesin, dan lingkungan fisik.Hasil: Berdasarkan Pengamatan dan Pengukuran yang dilakaukan diketahui bahwa pada program pengelasan dilihat dari penerapan aspek-aspek ergonomi yaitu Status gizi, sikap kerja, penggunaan tenaga otot, kondisi lingkungan, kondisi waktu, kondisi sosial, kondisi informasi dan kondisi interaksi manusia-mesin telah diterapkan walaupun dibeberapa aspek yang masih perlu diterapkan untuk terciptanya kondisi kerja yang aman, nyaman, sehat, efisen dan efektif.Simpulan: Berdasarkan identifikasi penerapan 8 aspek ergonomi yang masih menjadi prioritas perhatian yang berisiko terjadinya gangguan kesehatan pada peserta worksop yaitu dari aspek sikap kerja yang masih belum sesuai dengan sikap fisiologis/ergonomis, kondisi social budaya kerja peserta masih kurang dalam budaya penggunaan alat pelindung diri untuk menjamin keselamatan kerja, serta interaksi manusia-mesin masih belum sesuai yaitu dari penggunaan alat yang benar sesuai dengan fungsinya, fasilitas kerja seperti meja kerja belum memenuhi, serat kondisi kerja yang masih dapat menimbulkan risiko kesehatan pekerja yang perlu menjadi perhatian. Kata Kunci : aspek ergonomi, kesehatan kerja, pengelasan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the basic values that must be owned and understood by Lecturers as State Civil Apparatus and to actualize the basic values of ASN through the use of the jigsaw learning method. Through this habituation activity, it is hoped that it can be a measure of success in improving public services. There are 6 supporting activities chosen to solve the selected core issues, namely making and packaging learning plans that focus on student activity. delivering learning materials using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model, compiling questions in varied forms, carrying out formative evaluations, checking student test/test results, and analyzing student test/test results. The research finding is that the actualization of ANEKA values has been successful in motivating and increasing students' understanding and activeness with innovative learning models in the Basic Occupational Health and Safety course. This increase in understanding can be seen from the results of evaluation tests in participating in learning during actualization and increasing student activity during learning time. By analyzing the results of the evaluation, it is known that student learning completeness with predicates is very good at 35%, good at 50%, and quite good at 15%.

Abstract

Work stress is an imbalance of task demands with a person's work ability that creates tension through physical and emotional responses. The purpose of this study was to find out the impact of Work from Home on the symptoms of worker work stress. The research method used is quantitatively descriptive with cross-sectional design. The sample in this study was 63 employees who had filled out research instruments. The research intrusion used is an online questionnaire filled out through Google Form through the WhatsApp Group platform. Variable Work from Home uses two indicators, namely the work environment factor and workload. Using a statistical analysis of multiple linear regression statistics, researchers stated that the work environment had no significant effect on employee work stress symptoms and that work had a positive and significant effect on employee work stress symptoms during Work from Home.

Abstract

The strong column-weak beam is a design concept that needs to be implemented and considered in the planning of building structures (high-rise and low-rise buildings). Generally, structural failure occurs at beam-column joints. Such failure occurred due to the lack of attention to good and correct design concepts. The detailing of reinforcement for columns, beams, and beam-column connections has not yet fully implemented the SNI-2847-2019 standard which results in the reinforcement cannot withstand the combination of tensile, compressive, and shear forces that occur during an earthquake. In addition, the incomplete design of strong column-weak beam in building planning causes the building to fail in the column structure when receiving axial forces. The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural damage and the disaster management system applied during the earthquake in Palu. The research is carried out by investigation/survey methods on the study area as well as checking and recording the data about damage condition of buildings and conducting a hammer test (non-destructive test) to get the strength value of the concrete. Testing result showed the compressive strength value of the f’c concrete used is 20 to 48 MPa. In addition, the details of stirrups reinforcement are also not fully understood about their function on beams and columns, which results in the installation of stirrup reinforcement does not meet the criteria for bending angles of 90˚, 135˚, 180˚ and the addition of tensile and compressive reinforcement lengths. The high potential for earthquake hazard causes Palu and its surroundings tend to have an earthquake risk. For this reason, it is necessary to implement disaster mitigation for Palu region, which aims to reduce the number of casualties when natural disasters occur, both human and property loses.

Abstract

Stress kerja merupakan ketidakseimbangan tuntutan tugas dengan kemampuan kerja seseorang yang menimbulkan ketegangan melalui respon fisik dan emosional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis gejala stress kerja pekerja pada saat work from home. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 63 Pegawai yang telah mengisi instrument penelitian. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner online yang diisi melalui Google Form melalui platform WhatsAppGroup. Variabel gejala stress menggunakan dua indicator stressor yaitu faktor lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja. Tingkat stress dengan kategori tinggi dirasakan oleh responden dengan umur 50 tahun keatas dengan stressor rerata 3,83 untuk stressor beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja sebesar 3,57, dan yang memiliki pendidikan Strata 2 (S2) dengan kategori tingkat stress tinggi memiliki rerata 3,8 untuk stressor lingkungan kerja dan rerata 3,83 untuk stressor beban kerja.

Abstract

Filosofi dasar dari sebuah perancangan fasilitas kerja adalah membuat desain fasilitas kerja yang mengarah pada kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan kesehatan fisik pekerja.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merancang desain fasilitas kerja berupa meja kerja berdasarkan data antropometri peserta untuk mengurangi gangguan-gangguan fisiologis pada peserta pelatihan pengelasan di LPKA Kelas II Tomohon Sulawesi Utara.Penelitian dilakukan di LPKA Kelas II Tomohon menggunakan metode deskriptif. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 14 orang peserta pelatihan. Waktu penelitian Mei-Juni 2021. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah data antropometri, keluhan musculoskeletal, dan kelelahan subjektif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu, Antropometer, Nordic Body Map empat skala likert, dan 30 items of rating scales of general fatique lima Skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS Versi 25 MacOs dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian beban fisiologis dilihat dari keluhan musculoskeletal p0 sebesar 55,82, p1 sebesar 41,72. Sedangkan untuk kelelahan subjektif pada p0 sebesar 46,19, p1 sebesar 40,66. Rancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja kerja ergonomis yang sesuai dengan data antropometri operator/peserta. Spesifikasi perancangan meja kerja yaitu tinggi meja 100,8 cm berdasarkan tinggi siku berdiri, lebar meja 65 cm berdasarkan panjang jangkauan pekerja, panjang meja 120 cm berdasakan duakali lebar bahu pekerja, dan level rak bawah dengan tinggi 46,5 cm berdasarkan tinggi lutut pekerja. Perancangan fasilitas kerja sesuai dengan antropometri peserta mampu menurunkan tingkat keluhan musculoskeletal sebesar 59%. Dan melalui perancangan fasilitas kerja sesuai dengan data antropometri peserta mampu mengurangi kelelahan kerja sebesar 11,9%.

Abstract

Online learning activities carried out by students spend several hours a day in front of computers and smartphones. If the activities in this learning are not aligned with the ergonomic approach in each student's activity, of course, it will cause subjective fatigue experienced by students. This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the ergonomic approach on sociology learning on the decrease in physiological disorders assessed from subjective fatigue in high school students, especially in class XI. This research is an experimental study with treatment by subject design. The target population in this study was all students enrolled in SMAN 3 Tondano, while the affordable population was students who received sociology subjects. The research sample was 30 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire of 30 items of rating scale to assess subjective fatigue. Data analysis used through descriptive tests, data normality tests, and T-tests using SPSS 25 for IOS analysis. The results showed that the difference in the average subjective fatigue before the learning process between the control period and the experimental period was 0,40 or the difference only reached 1,27%. The difference in the average subjective fatigue after the learning process between the control and experimental periods is 31,44, or the difference reached 37.36%. The results of the different tests showed a meaningful difference (p0.05). The difference in subjective fatigue reduction between the control and experimental periods reached 31.04 (62.18%). Therefore, it can be concluded that implementing an ergonomic approach to sociology learning can reduce subjective complaints in the learning process so that students avoid health problems and physiological disorders in the form of physical fatigue.
