Abstract

Abstract: Hazairin is one of the legal thinkers who paid great attention to Islamic criminal law in the twentieth century in Indonesia. The influence of Western culture has had a positive impact in redefining the developing legal sciences as a source of material law for national law. He is a progressive thinker who studies civil law, anthropology and customary law. Since colonial times, Hazairin is a legal expert who has been persistent in fighting for the application of Islamic law in Indonesia. This idea can be proven as his rejection of Snouck Hurgronje's theory. He could not accept reception's theory that developed during the colonial period because it was against Islamic law. Hazairin argued that Snouck Hurgronje's theory had the aim of diminishing the existence of Islamic law in Indonesia. So that in order to understand Hazairin's thoughts in reconstructing Islamic criminal law in Indonesia, the writer needs to examine the concept of shari'ah's critical reasoning from the theory of Muhammad Said Al-Asymawi. In this theory, it describes the principles of shari'ah, in general, to explain the arguments for the application of Islamic shari'ah to be in accordance with the source of law (the Quran and Hadis) by looking at historical and sociological reviews. This research is qualitative research using a lot of library data (library research). Therefore, this research concludes that the influence of Hazairin's thoughts on Islamic criminal law is very large in developing Islamic law as a material source of national law in Indonesia.

Abstract

Strengthening religious moderation is very important to be discussed again because the potential for social conflict among the community is exist. In this case, no matter how small the problems that exist in society, we must remain vigilant given the potential for violent conflict, which is often linked to the religion. Therefore, it is very important to study the verses of the Quran related to strengthening religious moderation, especially in qv. al-Baqarah/2: 143, qv. al-Rum/30: 30, qv. al-Maidah/5: 8, and qv. Ali Imran/3: 110. This study aims to explore strengthening religious moderation in the Quran. This research is a literature research with a thematic interpretation study approach which is presented descriptively. The results showed that qv. al-Baqarah/2: 143 is a basic guide for human behavior that must be balanced or moderate. Another guide to moderation is stated in the qv. al-Rum/30: 30, qv. al-Maidah/5: 8, and qv. Ali Imran/3:110 to always side with the truth, uphold justice, invite goodness, and leave badness.

Abstract

Abstract: The birth of new educational institutions resulted in schools competing to show their existence. Quality schools that are responsive to the dynamics of education and the needs of the community will be able to survive and exist in the world of education. For that, we need an appropriate step, to increase the competitiveness of schools. This study aims to determine the strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation conducted by the principal to increase competitiveness in SD Islam an-Nur and SDIQu al-Bahjah. This study used a qualitative approach with a multi-site study research type. The collected data are analyzed individually through the process of reduction, data presentation, and drawing temporary conclusions, then cross-site data analysis is carried out. The results of this study indicate that the principal's strategy formulation in increasing competitiveness is fostering commitment in each component of the school, increasing the competence and motivation of school human resources, increasing student motivation and learning achievement, and promoting the community. Implementing the principal's strategy to increase competitiveness is all school components are involved in implementing the principal's strategy the commitment of the school component is to achieve the vision and mission of the school, full implementation of school activity programs supervised by the internal school. The evaluation carried out by the principal to increase competitiveness is conducting continuous supervision, establishing effective communication and coordination in implementing each activity program.

Abstract

The discourse and controversy about understanding and practicing the teachings of sufism is indeed not a new phenomenon in Indonesia, but in the Kandangan, precisely in the village of Mandapai is something new. There is a small community emerged that was different from usual in understanding and practicing the teachings of sufism taught by Sheikh Abdul Hamid Abulung or Datu Abulung. The research problem is the discourse of the teachings of sufism taught by Sheikh Abdul Hamid Abulung and the controversy of Sufism teachings of Sheikh Abdul Hamid in the city of Kandangan. The type of research used is field research and also the approach used is a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentations. The findings in the field are based on interviews with the tomb guard as well as his descendants that among the teachings delivered by Datu Abulung, the essence of prayer is actually dhikr. Prayers are done not only to make Allah swt happy, but to dhikr (remember) Allah swt. and prevent the seeds of fahsya' and evil deeds. Understanding like this has an impact on the need to do daim prayers. While the teachings of sufism Shaykh Abdul Hamid Abulung are understood by a small number of controversial people, namely remembering Allah without the other practices.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the curriculum design of tahfiz al-Quran in Darunnajah Dormitory MAN 1 Magelang. Primary data sources come from field observations and interviews. While secondary sources are obtained from books, journals, and references related to curriculum studies, character education and tahfiz al-Quran in general. The results showed that this program was structured by integrating several components including program objectives, basic competencies, strategies and methods of learning tahfiz al-Quran and using character values to teach memorizing the Quran. The design of the education-based tahfiz al-Quran curriculum is an attempt to internalize character values into students. These values include religious, diligent, honest, disciplined, independent, conscientious and responsible.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a library research. The data has been collected through documentation method. The data were analyzed using the analytic interpretation method (tafsir tahlili) and presented descriptively. The results of the study indicated that qv. Ali Imran/3: 159 orders to be gracefull, be forgiving and democratic, tawakkal and the ideal attitudes in discussion. This verse give the solution to problems in social interactions. Qv. Ali Imran/3: 159 has an urgency in humans to interact with other people and the values of social education that can be used as a reference in social learning.

Abstract

Hadith is everything that is based on the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam, both in the form of words, attitudes, and other cases in which there is approval of the Prophet Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam. His position became the second source of law after the Qur'an because it contained news that could be used as a guide by Muslims. The development of hadith is not like the Qur'an which is easy and smooth. This is due to the large number of Western scholars who began to weaken Islam by studying the hadith to find evidence of the authenticity of the hadith. So that the hadith experts try to put up a fight by exposing the error of the study of Western scholars related to the hadith discourse. This article aims to describe the various discourses on hadith, both from among Muslims and non-Islamic circles or Orientalists. The aim is none other than trying to find views on the traditions of Muslim scholars and among Western scholars who study the hadith. Abstract

This study aims to discuss the thoughts of Jamaluddin al-Afghani (1839-1897), one of the reformers of Islamic modernism in the 19th century. This research is a literature study with a factual-historical approach to find out the flow of al-Afghani's thought development, whether related to the environment or the influences experienced in the course of his thought. The results showed that al-Afghani's Islamic political movement is very unique and different from the others. The movement is carried out with the frame of the slogan "back to the Quran and Sunnah" as a response to the attitude of Muslims who are experiencing the decline, and a response to western imperialism in the Islamic world and encourages Muslims to unite under one umbrella called Pan-Islamism. Al-Afghani used the slogan "back to the Quran and Sunnah" in his political movement as a form of enthusiasm for Muslims to do ijihad on Islamic teachings, especially the concepts of qadla 'and qadar which are often misunderstood so that it results in Muslims Islam is trapped in a fatalism and static attitude.

Abstract

Education ideally directs to the children’s natural disposition. However, the globalization and the industrial revolution as facts and realities have shifted the orientation of parents' thinking in interpreting educational goals. The objective of education, which should develop all human potential vertically and horizontally, changed direction to be oriented towards the material fulfillment. This research is a literature study using descriptive qualitative method. This research offered a solution in reorienting Islamic education through the interpretation of qv. Luqman/31: 13-17. The purpose of the research is to restore the orientation of education due to the impact of globalization and the 4.0 industrial revolution. The result showed that the verses is full of exemplary values ​​on how to be a good parent in accordance with the guidance of Islam. The verses offers the reorientation of Islamic education in the era of the industrial revolution which includes education on monotheism, personality, social ethics, and morals.

Abstract

This article examines the religious sciences in the thought of Mohammed Abid al-Jabiri which is well known, namely bayani, irfani, and burhani. Bayani is a source of knowledge from a text or reasoning from the text. Whereas irfani comes from science or methods of kasyf (dzauq) which are intuitive and sufistic. This epistemology is very difficult to rationalize, because one has to experience it for yourself if you want to know. Burhani holds that the source of knowledge is reason (ratio) or is called philosophical. The method used in this paper uses a philosophical approach starting from the epistemology of bayani in the form of text (nash), irfani in the form of direct experience, and epistemology of burhani based on reality (al-waqi), both natural, social and even religious realities (religious) in the perspective of Muhmmad thought Abid alJabiri. The thought contribution is expected to enlighten Islamic thought in facing the plurality of humanity both internally and externally, so that the correlation through this epistemological approach can be felt in the empirical world.
