Abstract

In the development of the era of laptops, many are presented with different specifications and advantages. Manufacturers compete with each other to win the hearts of consumers by presenting their respective superior products. Thus the Acer company needs to improve the quality of its products and brand image in order to be able to attract consumer buying interest. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, brand image on buying interest in Acer laptops. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, UPN "Veteran" East Java. The sampling method uses probability sampling, namely the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The sample taken amounted to 97 respondents. The data used are primary data, namely questionnaire data from answers to respondents and secondary data, namely supporting data obtained from the top brand index (TBI). While the analysis used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of the study, it was stated that product quality and brand image contributed to buying interest in Acer laptop products.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of price perception, service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction. This research is motivated by the tight competition in the duck culinary business among the duck restorers. The research method used is a survey method, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The population in this study were consumers of the Bebek Oke restaurant. The sample used for this study were 126 consumers. Based on the results of the study, there was no effect of price perception on customer satisfaction. There is a significant positive effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and there is a significant positive effect of brand image on customer satisfaction. Simultaneously perception of price, service quality and brand image have a positive effect on customer satisfaction at Bebek Oke Pramuka restaurant in Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment, training, compensation, and competence on the performance of employees of the Regional Personnel Board of East Java province. The population in this study were employees of the Regional Personnel Agency of East Java Province. The sampling method is using probability sampling, namely the probability sampling technique (probability) or simple random sampling. The sample taken amounted to 85 respondents. The data used are primary data, namely questionnaire data from answers to respondents and secondary data, namely supporting data obtained from the Regional Personnel Agency of East Java Province. While the analysis used is Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the results of research and discussion of research results that have been stated that recruitment, training, and competence have a positive effect on employee performance at the Regional Personnel Agency of East Java Province, while compensation has not affected the performance of employees of the Regional Personnel Agency of East Java Province.

Abstract

Based on the concept of the basic needs approach, poverty is seen as an economic inability to meet basic food and non-food needs measured in terms of expenditure, so that a person is said to be poor if he has an average monthly per capita expenditure below the poverty line. By using Susenas data (National Socio-Economic Survey), this study uses the logit model to determine the effect of individual characteristics of the head of household on household poverty in Banten Province. From this study, it can be seen that the individual characteristics of the head of the household such as age, age squared, employment status, years of schooling, and the field of business where the head of the household works have a significant effect on household poverty in Banten Province.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leverage, liquidity, and firm size on profitability. The population in this study is Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) registered with the Financial Services Authority for the period 2017-2020 using purposive sampling and obtained 12 Islamic Commercial Banks. The data in this study are secondary data obtained through www.ojk.go.id. The results showed that leverage had a positive effect on profitability. This shows that leverage affects management performance in managing funds so that it can increase profitability. So the more debt used, the BUS will be encouraged to increase its profitability. Liquidity has no effect on profitability, this is because the level of the company's ability to pay its short-term debt does not affect the size of the profitability of the BUS. The size of the company affects profitability, this is because large companies get more pressure from investors so that more investors invest, it can increase profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on traditional retail MSMEs from the operational and financial business side in Indonesia, to find out the role and support from the government and related parties (private and state-owned enterprises) to help traditional retail MSMEs survive during the pandemic. Covid 19 and knowing the strategy and direction of business transformation from traditional retail MSMEs in terms of financial operations and marketing strategies in order to be able to survive during the pandemic. Design This research is a survey (as primary data) of owners of traditional retail stalls using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this study are that the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on traditional retail MSMEs with a decrease in turnover of retail shops / stalls compared to the period before the Covid-19 pandemic of 63.98%. The condition of the adequacy of the retail shop/stall business cash compared to the operating costs of the business during the Covid 19 pandemic which was under 12 months as much as 84.37%. Traditional retail stalls stated that 73.55% had never received assistance from the Government as a result of Covid-19 and 88.37% stated that they had never received assistance from private companies during the Covid pandemic. The Financial & Operational Strategy carried out by Traditional retail stalls in order to be able to survive and continue to grow during the Covid-19 Pandemic is to carry out cost efficiency as much as 34.33% with the Marketing Strategy is to complete the products sold in small packages/ renceng/sachets as much as 33, 58% and do wholesale orders online as much as 32.83%. The projected turnover of traditional retail stall businesses in 2021 has decreased, confirmed by 64.54% with projected operating profits in 2021 experiencing a decrease of 65.66%.

Abstract

Abstract- This research aims to proove the existing signal of Indonesia sharia stock’s risk and return to their future index and return. The hypothesis state that the past stock’s risk and return respectly give a signal on their future index and return.The research is designed as a quantitative, ex post facto, associative, and positivistic research by analyzing the correlation of the past stock’s risk and return to their future index and return.The stock risk (total risk, systematic risk and unsystematic risk) and return are set as independent variables, while stock’s future index and return as dependent variables.The existing signals were studied simultaneously in one model, Partial Least Square (PLS). Descriptive analysis, Correlations analysis, and hypotheses testing were done in this study.The conclusions were : First, the past stock’s return do not give any signal to their future index and return. Second, the total risk, systematic risk and unsystematic risk respectly give a signal to their future return, but do not to their future index. Third, the total risk and unsystematic risk respectly give a negative signal to their future return, while the systematic risk do a positive signal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of talent management on the formation of a learning organization and employee engagement at PT Hipernet Indodata head office. There were 60 employees participated as the samples. which data was collected using a questionnaire. The statistical analysis technique used is Path Analysis with smartPLS 3.0 program. The results showed that Talent Attraction has a significant positive effect on Learning Organization, Talent Development has an insignificant negative effect on Learning Organization, Talent Retention has a significant positive effect on Learning Organization, Talent Attraction has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Development has insignificant negative effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Retention has a significant positive effect on Employee Engagement, Talent Attraction has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization, Talent Development has no negative effect significant impact on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization, Talent Retention has no significant positive effect on Employee Engagement through Learning Organization.

Abstract

Kondisi pada saat Covid-19 menuntut masyarakat melakukan segala aktivitas dari rumah untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus. Demi memenuhi kebutuhan, masyarakat akhirnya memilih melakukan pembelian secara online. Kondisi ini dimanfaatkan oleh pelaku usaha pakaian atau umkm di bidang fashio n di Tasikmalaya untuk melakukan pemasaran dan transaksi jual beli secara online untuk tetap bertahan ditengah pandemi saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan instagram terhadap omzet penjualan produk UMKM Inoy Daily Wear. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian penggunaan Instagram berpengaruh positif terhadap Omzet Penjualan. Artinya, semakin baik pengelolaan Instagram sebagai media promosi maka akan meningkatkan minat pembeli dan berdampak kepada Omzet Penjualan. Peningkatan dan pengelolaan isi konten Instagram Inoy Daily Wear yang sesuai dengan harapan konsumen, diharapkan mampu meningkatkan Omzet Penjualan.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 di tahun 2020 sangat berdampak pada perekonomian nasional. Beberapa indikator makro ekonomi menunjukkam angka yang tidak biasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif terhadap empat indikator makro ekonomi yaitu pruduk domestik bruto (PDB), BI rate, jumlah uang beredar, dan inflasi. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi dari studi kepustakaan. PDB mengalami kontraksi di angka negatif sebesar (-2,07)%. Angka terendah sejak 1998 yang mengalami pertumbuhan negatif (13,13%). Dari sisi moneter, bank indonesia konsisten menurunkan atau mempertahankan tingkat suku bunga BI Rate pada angka 3,75%. Angka terendah dibanding dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Jumlah uang beredar menunjukkan posisi cukup ironis, dimana mengalami kenaikan cukup signifikan pada desember 2020 sebesar 6.900 triliun rupiah dari 6.136,6 triliun pada bulan yang sama di tahun 2019. Dari sisi nominal, ini adalah kenaikan terbesar dalam satu tahun dibanding dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Sementara, inflasi pada angka 1,68% atau terendah setelah era reformasi tahun 1998. Daya beli masyarakat yang menurun, mengakibatkan permintaan konsumtif juga menurun sehingga menurunkan harga barang atau jasa secara aregat.
