Abstract

Education in the 4.0 revolution era demands the agility and adaptability of the resources involved in the education sector, especially educational institutions, to the digital revolution, especially with the rise of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Therefore, this study aims to discuss digital transformation in the field of education and the importance of digital transformation in educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods with literature review as a source of data without going to the field. Data collection techniques by collecting important information related to research and then analyzing data by reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that digital transformation is very influential in the world of education, especially in educational institutions, because digital transformation makes learning activities easy and flexible in implementation. Important things for digital transformation in educational institutions include changing conventional systems to digital, providing applications that can be accessed by anyone at any time, and providing experts who are competent in their fields. This research concludes that in realizing digital transformation, educational institutions can pay attention to digital infrastructure and global vision and create a national digital learning system. The implication of this research is that it is important for educational institutions to improve technology infrastructure and provide training for teachers and educational staff in digital literacy. In addition, education must have a global perspective and build an integrated national digital learning system. This research has limitations, namely the lack of data and limited time to explore the impact of digital transformation as a whole.

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the cointegration between the Indonesian capital market and the selected four international capital markets – namely the Australian Stock Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange - with the presence of two structural breaks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The non-standard Johansen’s, as well as the ARDL methods of cointegration analyses, are applied to five capital market indices - consisting of the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite Index (JSCI), ASX200, Dow Jones Composite Average (DJC), FTSE 100, and Han Seng Index (HSI) - from January 2019 to December 2020. VEC and ARDL models are employed to investigate the impact of structural breaks on Indonesia’s capital market performance. The results show that there are cointegration and long-run causality relationships between the Indonesian capital market and the four international capital markets during the pandemic, and the structural breaks significantly affect market performance. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating global impact on capital markets, but an effective policy response by the Indonesian government might contribute to the relatively rapid recovery of Indonesia’s capital market.. There are two important implications relating to the findings of this study. Firstly, as capital markets around the world become more integrated, the benefit of international portfolio diversification decreases. However, stock price efficiency among capital markets increases. Secondly, the results of the Granger causality test might be useful for capital market investors in predicting the impact of the performance of one capital market on the performance of other capital markets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of e-trust in moderating the effect of e-service quality and e-satisfaction on the repurchase intention of Tokopedia's female consumers. This study uses a positive approach and partial least square analysis technique on samples of Tokopedia’s female customers, who have purchased fashion products within the past three months. The sampling method used in this study is purposive sampling, with a total of 100 respondents. First, we find that there is a positive influence of e-service quality on e-trust, e- satisfaction on e-trust and e-trust onrepurchase intention. Second, the mediating role of e-trust has proven statistically significant in predicting the influences of e-service quality and e-satisfaction on repurchase intentions of Tokopedia’s female cunsumers. The limitations of this research is the relatively small sample size and the data are collected from a single online shopping store. Conclusions from this study may not generalize well to the entire online shopping. Our findings imply that the consumer’s e-trust is possibly as antecedent of female cunsumers repurchase intention in online vendors.
