Abstract

As one of the four English skills that has to be mastered, English learners still see that speaking mastery is challenging. Many of them are difficult to speak, although their writing, reading, and listening skills are good. This research presents a classroom action research of using Instagram in English speaking classroom with students in a private senior high school in Surakarta. The purpose of this research is to propose the use of Instagram as a social media to teach speaking as well as to find out the students' attitude towards the use of Instagram in enhancing their speaking skills. The study revealed that Instagram used in English speaking classroom brings effective meaning for them in learning English. Instagram also brings a positive attitude to students so that they can learn to speak English more easily.

Abstract

The purpose of research it is to determine : (1) the effect of the application of the model study of quantum against the results of learning Theme 5 on the charge lesson IPS participants learners grade elementary school in the District of Demak , (2) the effect of the application of the model of learning talking stick to the result of learning Scene 5 in charge of the lesson IPS participants learners grade elementary school in the District of Demak, and (3) differences in the influence of the model of learning quantum teaching and talking stick to the result of learning Theme 5 on the charge lesson IPS participants learners grade elementary school in the District of Demak. The method of research using a quasi-experimental design , with the population of the entire student class V School Elementary District of Demak from 55 elementary schools with the number of 1,627 participants learners . The sample of the study is the participant students grade VA SD Bintoro 5 (35 participant students ) and a class VB SD Bintoro 5 (34 participant students ), as a class experiment . As a class control is student class V SD Bintoro 2 with the number of 41 participants learners.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mendiskripsikan faktor penyebab kejenuhan pembelajaran daring pada siswa kelas XI Jasa Boga 4 tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. 2) Membantu mengatasi kejenuhan pembelajaran daring pada kelas XI Jasa Boga 4 SMK Negeri 3 Pati Tahun Pembelajaran 2020/2021 melalui konseling Rational Emotif Therapy. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang telah dirancang dalam bentuk studi kasus. Subjek yang diteliti yaitu WAK dan NKN siswa yang mengalami kejenuhan dalam pembelajaran daring di SMK Negeri 3 Pati Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan peneliti ialah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi sehingga konselor bisa memperoleh data yang akurat penyebab siswa mengalami kejenuhan pembelajaran daring. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah konseli diberikan Konseling Rational Emotif Therapy konselor dapat mengetahui penyebabnya. Konseli yang mengalami kejenuhan pembelajaran daring karena menunda-nunda tugas dan berpikir bahwa percuma mengerjakan tugas kalau tidak bisa memahami materinya sehingga membuat konseli tertinggal banyak materi pelajaran dan berdampak buruk terhadap nilai siswa. Untuk membantu konseli dalam kejenuhan pembelajaran daring maka konselor menerapkan konseling Rational Emotif Therapy. Yang diharapkan dapat tidak melakukan penundaan dalam mengerjakan tugas, dan berpikir secara logis yaitu berpikir lebih baik mengerjakan tugas supaya tugasnya tidak menumpuk dan siswa tidak lagi tertinggal banyak materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum learning inelementary schools has implemented integrated thematic learning.meaning that the learning material presented is an integration and various subjects are packaged in an integrated manner using themes and sub-themes as unifying learning. Learning media thematic is a bridge between learning materials that must be adjusted to the needs of the characteristics of elementary school students who still think concretely and combine various concepts in one study into the themes contained in the media. Information and communication technology is a medium for carrying out activities such as processing, managing, and, transferring information with the principle of using ICT effectively, efficiently, attracting and stimulating creativity. ICT is one of the learning media that is widely usedin various fields of education because it increases effectiveness andefficiency in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) Describe the parents' perceptions of the implementation of learning from home by students, (2) To analyze the role of parents in learning assistance for students, (3)  To analyze the factors that support and hinder parents in learning assistance for fifth-grade students of SDN Tegalarum 1 during the Covid-19 pandemic.Supporting factors for learning assistance by parents for learning from home: (1) the use of WhatsApp as a communication medium and a learning medium (2) The role of schools in providing guidance and consultation services for students and parents. As for the obstacles faced by parents during learning assistance at home: (1) cellphones are often brought to work while children at home do not have cell phones; (2) some parents don't have Android phones; (3) Many parents find it difficult about learning materials when accompanying children to learn; (3) additional internet quota fees; and (4) additional work for parents in accompanying children to learn.

Abstract

The implementation of the transition from face-to-face learning to online learning requires the preparedness of all educators and students so that the educational goals that have been set can be realized. This study aims to provide a description related to the implementation of online learning at the Satya Wacana Christian High School Salatiga City, along with the difficulties encountered and endeavours to solve them. This research was conducted through a qualitative descriptive approach, with the determination of research subjects through purposive sampling. Data retrieval in the study was carried out by interviewing and documentation studies at the Satya Wacana Christian High School Salatiga. The results of the study found several problems from the implementation of online learning at the Satya Wacana Christian High School Salatiga, such as impediments in managing online learning. Several solutions are then described by the researcher as an effort to solve the issues discovered.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine: (1) the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on Mathematics for Elementary School students' fraction material in Demak District, (2) the effect of the Discovery Learning learning model on Mathematics subject fraction material for elementary school students in Demak District, and ( 3) differences the influence the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on Mathematics subject fractions of elementary school students in Demak District. The research method used a quasi experimental design , with a population of all students in class I V SD Demak sub-district from 53 SD, totaling1,661 students. The research sample, class 4 SD Negeri Kadilangu 1, Demak Regency, as an experimental class with a total of 34 students and grade IV SD Negeri Bintoro 9 with a total of 35 students.  Meanwhile, the control class was the grade IV student of SD Negeri Kadilangu 2 with a total of 31 students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how much the relationship between discipline and student learning outcomes in science subjects class VI B SD 1 Mijen during online learning. This research uses quantitative research methods with a correlation test.This research will be conducted in class VI B SD 1 Mijen with 26 students as research subjects. The sampling technique in this research is usingtechnique purposive random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 26 students. The independent variable in this study was student learning discipline, while the dependent variable in this study was student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire instrument and document study from the classroom teacher in the form of student learning outcomes in science subjects. The data analysis technique in this study used a correlation test of the discipline relationship with science learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that there is a disciplinary relationship with science learning outcomes during online learning with a correlation value of 0.6512 in the strong category.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemandirian belajar merupakan sikap yang harus dihilangkan dalam diri siswa, sebagai seorang pelajar harus memiliki kemandirisn dalam hal belajar agar siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan dirinya. Bimbingan kelompok teknik self control merupakan sebuah layanan  yang diberikan kepada individu atau sekelompok orang  dengan menggunakan dinamika kelompok yang berpusat kepada diri siswa agar siswa mampu mencegah, mengatur, mengelola keinginan yang timbul dalam diri siswa  itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  1. dari penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self Control maka dapat mengatasi rendahnya kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMKN 3 PATI. 2. Memperoleh peningkatan efektifitas peserta didik dengan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self Control dalam mengatasi rendahnya kemandirian belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling. Subjek yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas XI Busana 1 SMK Negeri 3 Pati, sebanyak 8 siswa yang memeliki masalah dalam kemandiri belajar. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik self control di SMK Negeri 3 Pati terdapat peningkatan disetiap sikluslusnya. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil skor, pada pra siklus siswa memperoleh jumlah rata – rata 75 dengan kategori kadang – kadang (KD), kemudian di sklus I memperoleh jumlah rata – rata 122 dengan kategori sering (SR), serta pada siklus II memperoleh jumlah rata – rata 142 dengan kategori selalu (SL).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui evaluasi dan kendala pembelajaran daring masa pandemi covid-19 di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jayapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan jenis diskriptif, waktu penelitian dilaksanankan 3 bulan Januari - maret 2021 di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jayapura. Sumber data primer dan skunder, pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi lansung, wawancara dengan Kepala Sekolah dan guru secara terstruktur dan dokumnetasi saat pembelajaran daring berlansung. Adapun teknik analisa data menggunakan anaslisis diskripitf terhadap data primer dan data skunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jayapura, masih ditemukan banyaknya masalah yang sering dialami guru dalam  pembelajaran  daring,  baik  kendala  jaringan,  mahalnya  kuota internet, kurangnya respon siswa terhadap materi, hingga ketidakpahaman siswa  terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Hal tersebut masih menjadi masalah yang terus diperbaiki oleh guru, agar  kendala   pembelajaran   daring   dapat diminimalisir dan proses pembelajaran daring dapat berjalan efektif. Guru SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jayapura saat awal belajar daring mencari bantuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan pembelajaran daring. Kendala  lainnya banyak gangguan di rumah saat belajar daring, tidak ada siswa di Grup WhatsApp antar guru, dan tidak ada hubungan erat antara guru dan siswa. Guru merasa beban mengajar lebih berat, dan siswa menjadi malas karena tidak ada kontrol lansung dari guru.
