Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar matematika khususnya materi statistika pada siswa kelas IX C SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas IX C yang berjumlah siswa 32 siswa yang terdiri dari 16 siswa laki-laki dan 16  siswa. Pelaksanaannya bulan Januari sampai dengan Februari 2019 yang terdiri 2 siklus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu metode tes dan metode observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan baik keaktifan siswa maupun hasil prestasi belajarnya. Siklus I, prosentase keaktifan siswa = 65,63 %, dan nilai rata-rata hasil prestasi = 74,53, sedangkan siklus II prosentase  keaktifan siswa 96,64,  rata-rata hasil prestasi = 82,34. Berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan, dan  hasil penelitian,   Pembelajaran Matematika melalui pendekatan kontekstual berbasis penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil prestasi matematika kelas IX C SMP Negeri 2 Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the Snowball Throwing and Teams Games Tournament learning models on learning outcomes and explain the differences between the Snowball Throwing learning model and the Teams Games Tournament learning outcomes on heat transfer science subjects in elementary schools. The results of the research 1) there is an influence of the snowball throwing learning model on the science learning outcomes of heat transfer material for Students of 1st Kuwu State Elementary School, Dempet, Demak based on the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, or t-count 9.657 > t-table 2.06390. The magnitude of the influence is 15.80. 2) There is an influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the science learning outcomes of heat transfer material for fifth-grade Students of 4th Dempet State Elementary School, Dempet, Demak based on the value of Sig. (2-tailed) obtained 0.000 < 0.05, or t-count 11.932 > t-table 2.05183 while the magnitude of the effect given is 23.99. 3) There is a difference in the influences between the snowball throwing learning model and the team games tournament (TGT) on the improvement of science learning outcomes for fifth-grade Students heat transfer material in elementary schools. It can be concluded that the experimental 2nd experimental class research using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model increased learning outcomes higher than the 1st experimental class research which used the snowball throwing learning model

Abstract

This study aims (1) develop a HOTS-based assessment instrument to measure the analytical and creative thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students (2) analyze the effectiveness of the HOTS-based assessment instrument to measure the analytical and creative thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. The development of the HOTS-based assessment instrument adopts the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel those are : Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate stages. The product trial design consists of product validation and test instrument testing. The subjects of the research trial included 3 teachers and 30 students of fourth grade of elementary school in Dabin 3, Jepara District. Analysis of product quality data uses validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power. Meanwhile, data analysis of feasibility and students' thinking skills uses analysis of ideal assessment criteria. The results showed that the instrument of HOTS-based assessment met content validity by the agreement of expert judgment with the percentage result of material aspects 94%, construction aspects 92% and language aspects 90% . Those are good categories. Furthermore, the results of the analytical thinking ability test of 52% of students are in the medium category, and 37% of students' creative thinking skills are in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is the development of the instrument of High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) – based assesment is needed by teachers to carry out the learning assessment process to train and measure students' thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of the study wasto designof developing teaching books for dyslexia through learning style intervention assisted by audio-visual media for elementary school students. This research is Research and Development. Data collection uses a needs questionnaire, expert validation sheets, student learning outcomes tests, interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The subjects in this study were dyslexic students at SDN Brambang Karangawen Demak with a total of three of the third grade students. The result of the study is that the design of developing audio-visual-assisted teaching books has characteristics, including the use of good and easy-to-understand language, the presentation of the teaching books equipped with pictures and videos, and the contents of the teaching books describing the author's ideas. The teaching book development product consists of three parts, namely the introduction which contains of the title page or book cover, the introduction, and the table of contents. The section consists ofletter introducing, words repeating, writing, drawing, direction and story. The closing section contains reflection.  The conclusion of study is the design of the teaching book is adapted to the characteristics of a good teaching book and the needs of dyslexia students.

Abstract

This study aims to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the e-module with the professional flip pdf application for integer material in 6th grade elementary school students. This research is a type of research and development with nonrandomized experimental methods subject pre-test post-test control group design. The results of the feasibility test based on material expert validation obtained a score of 76, the percentage was 84.44%, the category was very good. Assessment of media experts, obtained a score of 110, the percentage of 81.48%, very good category. The effectiveness test of the independent t-test results obtained a significance score of 0.00 < 0.05. The t-count score shows a value greater than the t-table, which is 5.163>2.0166. The N-gain test obtained a score of 57.28 in the quite effective category. From the research data, it can be concluded that the developed e-module is declared feasible and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the implementation of learning, 2) the problems of the teacher during learning, 3) the solutions made by the teachers on the implementation of learning during the covid-19 pandemic and 4) the role of parents in assisting children at home. This study uses a qualitative approach. Sources of data were obtained from interviews with teachers and parents of SD Negeri Gugus Jayabaya students, Dempet District. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of learning has been going well despite the Covid-19 pandemic, 3) There are several problems, namely (a) The location of the house is far from the internet network and the students' internet quota is limited, (b) The learning media is monotonous, (c) Learning is not yet interactive, (d) The character of students is difficult to monitor, (e) The learning tends to be online assignments, (f) The assignments given by students are piled up. (g) Absorption of subject matter is very minimal, (h) Assessment lacks integrity, 4) Solutions, namely (a) temporarily moving locations and joining friends, (b) using varied and interactive learning media. (c) using zoom meetings, google meet, webinars (d) giving material early, (e) submitting assignments early. (f) use of varied and live online media (h) use of varied and live online media, 5) The role of parents as educators, motivators, facilitators and mentors.

Abstract

Jenis Penelitian ini adalah research dan development. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar elektronik (BAE), mendiskripsikan penerapan serta menguji keefektifan BAE berbasis Flip PDF Professional,dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas IV SD di Gugus Sultan Fatah Kecamatan Bonang Kabupaten Demak. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan angket penilaian validitas dan respon penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik. Data yang dikumpulkan yaitu data mengenai validitas dan respon penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik yang dikembangkan. Prosedur yang akan digunakan dalam melakukan R & D ini mengadaptasi penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall, dengan 10 tahapan : Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Preliminary Form of Product, Preliminary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, Main Field Testing, Operational Product Revision, Operational Field Testing, Final Product Revision, dan Dissemination and Implementation. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan nilai kelayakan dari validasi ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar elektronik (BAE) berbasis Flip PDF Professional ini layak dijadikan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, penggunaan bahan ajar elektronik (BAE) Berbasis Flip PDF Professional efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas IV SD, dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain score untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 75.82% dibulatkan 76%.

Abstract

Problems in writing narrative essays include the use of inappropriate learning media so that students' understanding is low, it is necessary to develop learning media to write essays in the form of puzzles. The purpose of this study was to develop puzzle media in Indonesian language learning materials for writing narrative essays in Grade III elementary school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the research subjects being teachers and third grade students of elementary schools in the Hasanudin Group, Kebonagung District.. The results of the research are 1) the development of puzzle media is needed based on a needs analysis of learning media in Indonesian language lessons for writing narrative essays. The development of puzzle media was chosen because it is easy to make and practical in its use. By using picture puzzle series students are challenged to compose pictures and to think creatively in completing essays 2) The quality of puzzle media development is very valid, feasible and effective to use to improve narrative essay writing skills. in the third grade of elementary school

Abstract

In this classroom action research intends to improve student participation and learning outcomes in MIPA 3 class, which was previously the most passive and had the lowest learning outcomes. The research employs the flipped classroom learning methodology, wherein the learning media is bundled in the SAC (Smart Apps Creator) program and managed via a learning journal. Two rounds of classroom action research were conducted. The participation rate was high, but it did not reach 100 percent, and the learning diary was unsatisfactory throughout the first cycle. Furthermore, in the second cycle, several enhancements were made. The average value of learning outcomes increased significantly, from 62.17 before the intervention to 81.33 in cycle 1 and 85.15 in cycle 2. At the beginning of the study, the student's response to this learning paradigm was less favourable, around 33% of students believed the model flipped. This is too difficult to follow, becomes a burden, and exacerbates an already difficult duty. some kids can't open SAC media since the cellphone does not support it. But by some direction and agreement in the end all can go smoothly. As a consequence of the comprehensive daily assessment, the action class received the highest average score compared to its 10 parallel classes. Flipped classroom is proved to establish a habit of liking to learn, even though it was initially rejected.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to determine the relationship between family harmony and self-concept of class X students of SMK N 1 West Sumatra. The type of research used in this research is quantitative with the type of correlational research. The population in this study was class X SMK N 1 West Sumatra 420 students, the sample in this study was class X SMK N 1 West Sumatra 205 students, the technique used in this study was random (Random Sampling), the variables studied in this study were random sampling. In this study, family harmony with self-concept.This study examines the relationship between family harmony and self-concept. Quantitative research is the systematic scientific study of graphs and phenomena and relationships. The instrument used in collecting data in this study was a questionnaire that was compiled according to a Likert scale model. Data analysis was performed using statistical programs on SPSS 20 computer and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the hypothesis, the calculated r value is 0.151 while the r table value is 0.138 because the calculated r value is greater than r table (0.151>0.138) there is a relationship between Family Harmony and Self-Concept. Keywords: Family Harmony, Self Concept
