Abstract

This study aims to find out the interaction and influence of problem based learning model based on performance assessment and numerical talents towards the learning outcomes of mathematics learners. Type of research in this research is quasi experimental research (Quasi Experiment). This study has a control group, but not entirely to control external variables that influence the execution of experiments. Research design used in this experiment is Treatment By Level (2x2) where one of its independent variables will serve as moderator variable. The population of the study was all students of grade X SMA N 7 Denpasar in Year 2016/2017 for 9 classes of IPA and 3 classes of IPS with 430 people. Samples were selected as 4 classes, namely class X IPA 2 and X IPA 4 as experimental group and class X IPA 6 and X IPA 7 as control group with multistage random sampling technique. The instrument in the research is a method of mathematics learning outcomes and numerical talent tests. The data were analyzed by using two-way ANAVA hypothesis and Tukey Test. Based on the results of the Anova two paths shows that the value of F for AxB interaction is obtained Fhitung of 13.72, while Ftabel with 5% significance level and dbD 76 is 3.97. It shows that Fhitung> Ftable (0.05) (1.76) (13.72> 3.97), so that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the result of Tukey test, Qhitung counted 6,19 while Qtabel for significance level 5%, with k = 4 and n = 20 equal to 3,96. It turns Qhitung> Qtabel (0,05) (4,20), (6,19> 3,96), so the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and H1 is accepted.  From the results of the data analysis it was found that: (1) there was interaction between learning model and numerical talent of learners toward mathematics learning result (2) there was difference of learning result of mathematics between student who follow problem based learning model based on performance assessment with students following conventional model (3) there is a difference in the learning outcomes of mathematics among students who follow a problem based learning model based on performance assessment with learners following the conventional model of learners who have low numerical talent. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there is an interaction and influence of problem-based learning model based on performance assessment and numerical talents towards the achievement of mathematics learning outcomes of X grade students of SMA N 7 Denpasar Year of Education 2016/2017.

Abstract

The strategy of developing the tourism industry on the one hand has been able to improve the standard of living of Balinese people towards better development, but on the other hand raises new problems, especially for community members who are unable to compete directly in the increasingly widespread development of the Bali tourism industry. social that there are some local people who really don't have much involvement in the development process of the tourism industry that continues to grow.           Determination of informants in this study using snaw balling sampling techniques, data collected using non-participation observation methods, in-depth interviews, and recording documents, then the collected data is dissected with an exchange theory developed by George Caspar Homans.           The results revealed that there were some Balinese who were unable to compete directly involved in the growing development of the tourism industry in Bali so that some Brawa Beach women in Tibubeneng Village, Kuta Utara District chose a profession as fishermen, and some of the Grahasanti Hamlet in Sidakarya Village, South Denpasar Subdistrict chose a profession as salt farmers. The choice of profession is due to the low level of education, the natural environment that supports the profession, and economically the profession is enough to benefit them.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan respon terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving dalam menganalisis teks eksposisi dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik  kelas X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar terdiri atas 36 orang dengan komposisi perempuan berjumlah 21 orang dan laki-laki berjumlah 15 orang. Penelitian ini dirancang melalui penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2017/2018, dan objek penelitian ini adalah kajian analisis teks eksposisi dan respon peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran problem solving. Pengumpulan data pada siklus I dan siklus II dilakukan dengan teknik penilaian hasil tes data angka sedangkan pengambilan data dengan menggunakan teknik observasi untuk data kualitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian  ini adalah teknik analisis data kuantitatif.        Hasil kemampuan menganalisis teks eksposisi pada prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II dapat pada prasiklus yakni 36 meningkat menjadi 68,19 pada siklus I, dan meningkat kembali menjadi 79,75 pada siklus II. Jumlah nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada siklus I adalah 67,83 meningkat menjadi 80,94 pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan yang ditentukan.  Hasil observasi peserta didik pada siklus II telah berada di atas 75% sehingga penelitian ini diakhiri dengan dua siklus. Hasil refleksi siklus I menunjukkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan tergolong cukup dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh mencapai 68,19 dengan jumlah klasikal 41,67% dan hasil observasi respon peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata 67,83 dengan jumlah klasikal mencapai 33,33%. Berdasarkan hasil tes siklus I yang kemudian beralih pada siklus II menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai setelah proses pembelajaran siklus II dilaksanakan. Peningkatan ini dilihat dari hasil pembelajaran siklus II yang diperoleh mencapai rata-rata 79,75 dengan jumlah klasikal 94,44% dan hasil observasi respon peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata hingga 80,94 dengan jumlah klasikal 94,44%. Dengan penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menganalisis teks eksposisi pada peserta dapat meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase student commitment in mathematics learning. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar in class VIII-4 semester I of 2017/2018 school year. This research is a classroom action research that aims to find out whether group counseling guidance can increase student commitment in following mathematics subjects. In this study, data such as student commitments and student mathematics learning outcomes data were collected by the method of observation and test methods. Data collected will then be analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that group counseling guidance can increase students' commitment to take mathematics. This is evident from the results obtained in the first cycle increased 27% from the initial data and the average value of the commitment of the group of 64.77 with good criteria. In cycle II there was an increase in student commitment by 32% from the first cycle and the average value of group commitment by 85.41 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis of mathematics learning achievement test, at the end of the second cycle all students get a test score on learning outcomes above the KKM set by the school.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of problem solving strategies oriented to open mathematical problems towards the achievement of learning mathematics, by paying attention to the factors of students' metacognitive skills. The research design used in this study was a 2 x 2 factorial research design, with a simple random sampling technique. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIPA Public High School 7 Denpasar academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of 9 classes with a total of 324 people. With samples of class XII MIPA 2, XII MIPA 4, XII MIPA 5, and XII MIPA 8. Tests were carried out by t-test, F test, Tukey test through Anava Two-way statistical method.         From the results of data analysis, it was found that, (1) there was an influence of learning strategies on open mathematical problem-solving problem solving on students' mathematics learning achievement. (2) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with high metacognitive skills. (3) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented to open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with low metacognitive skills. (4) there is no interaction between learning strategies and metacognitive skills on mathematics learning achievement of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is 1) increasing the students? learning outcomes and 2) improving the students? learning motivation by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research was conducted on class X RPL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Negara on the even semester, year 2018/2019, with total number of students 36. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that 1) the average student learning outcomes on the first cycle was 86,94, categorized as good, and the classical completeness was 100%, while on the second cycle, the average student learning outcomes was 85,07 , categorized as good,  and classical ketuntasan was 100%,  and 2) the average student learning motivation on the first cycle was 80,42, categorized as high. On the end of second cycle, the average student learning motivation was 84,94, categorized as high. The result showed that the PBL model was effective in improving Physics learning achievement and learning motivation of students of class X RPL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Negaraon the even semester, year 2018/2019.

Abstract

In general, the community maintains the placenta after the mother gives birth to the baby in the front door of the house, Namu to the Pekraman Trunyan traditional village community after the mother gives birth to the baby, Ari-ari (Placenta) is hung on a wooden tree branch in one of the Tantanbuni places .         The theory used to dissect the problem The unique tradition of hanging Ari-ari (placenta) is the Sociological Theory of Herbert Spencer with the functional Structural Theory and the Principle Theory of Religion by Kuentjaraningrat. Data were collected by observation, interview and document documents.         Based on the results of the study revealed that, the background factors in the beliefs and beliefs of the people of Trunyan Village were received from their ancestors since the descent "Ida Ratu Puserin Jagat" to Earth, Not permitted to pollute the earth (Trunyan Village Land) with the intention of maintaining the sanctity of the earth or land of Trunyan Village. As for the process of maintaining the Arienta (Placenta) after the mother gives birth to one of the places of Tantanbuni, after the placenta is inserted into the coconut shell which is halved by filling the equipment inside and then closed and hung on a wooden tree branch in Tantanbuni. The meaning contained in announcing and begging for the face of "Sang Hyang Akasa" (God of Heaven) Receiving and approving at the same time giving protection and safety to the Baby.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of observation on caricature to improve the ability to write opinion class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Selemadeg; (2) to know the steps taken by observation on caricature in improving the writing skill of class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Selemadeg; (3) to find out the student's response about observing caricatures to improve the ability to write opinions. The research method used in this research is classroom action research. The results of this study were There are 11 students (32.35%) answered hesitant to the second statement that is about the observation of the caricature can facilitate students in writing opinions. Eighteen students (52.94%) answered agree while 4 students (11.76%) answered strongly that observation on caricature can make it easier to write an opinion. The majority of students, 24 students (70.59%) answered agreeably to the third question that observation of caricatures can give students a topic in opinion writing. In addition, there are also 7 students (20.59%) answered hesitantly, 2 students (5.88%) answered strongly agree to the statement. Against the fourth statement of observation on caricatures can assist students in making arguments in favor of statements, there are 17 students (50%) answered agreeing by observing caricatures can assist students in making arguments in favor of statements.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to increase the student's achievement through applying of learning model called group investigation in learning physics. Kind of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students of X IIS 2 SMA Negeri I Pupuan at first semester year 2018/2019 which consist of 21 students. This research is done in two cycles of learning with some steps which every cycle follows the learning step of group investigation The data of the student's achievenent is collected through the evaluation activity (quiz), assignment, and the result of the test at every cycle. The data which has collected, futhermore, is analysed in descriptive way. The data of analysed result after modeling of group investigation learning is implemented by the average of student's achievement of firts cycle in the omount of 81,47 by total clasical is in the amount of 86%. The average of student's achicvement at second cycle is in the amount of 81,47 by total clasical is in the amount of  95%. From the result above, it can be concluded that the application of learning model group investigation can increase the achievement of students in learning physics for students ? IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pupuan al first semester of year 2018/2019.

Abstract

In the reality and teaching experience in SMA Negeri 1 Kerambitan, Tabanan regency, the use of discussion method can't run like as we hope. That is caused by both of the teacher who can understand or comprehend their role in the discussion. The discussion method is one of the method which is qualified by the 2013 curriculum. That is why important to improve the discission method on teaching and learning activity and to increase the student and the teachers skill in discussing, one of the effort is whit Discovery Learning. Discovery learning approach is mentioned as Discovery Guided, that is Discovery learning where the students in choosing the matter of the lesson, the kinds of data which is collected and the discussion are guided by the teachers. The aplication of this approach uses student work sheet (LKS) type B and C. The role of the teachers in the discussion are as moderator, consultant, motivator, encourager, and evaluator. All of these have purpose to increase the skill in discussion which cover communication skill, skill of presenting opinion, and can appreciate the other person's idea, has skill to make decision. Now the phase of the Actions learning which the teacher (researcher) does to reach the objective is to give the stimulation to motivate the students in studying, identifying the problems which will be solved by the students then collect the data, and has the discussion to reach the truth of the data which they got and is ended by making agreement to find one meaning in the conclusion. The data analyze which is used in this research is qualitative descriptive approach, the result of this research shows that discovery learning approach can increase the skill in discussion on both of students and teachers. This can be seen that there is incresing of the discussion skill of the students up to 75% and the teacher reach more than 85%. By the classroom Actions research the teachers can reach the teaching purpose as they expect.
