Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning affect students' grades or the end of learning aspects of knowledge in fifth grade elementary school students. Quantitative research methods with an experimental approach. The grouping of data used is descriptive statistics. The research tools used are tests and documentation. The participants in this research were students of fifth grade elementary school. Samples or research subjects were taken randomly. From the research results, both Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning products in studying have increased. However, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy is superior in strengthening students' cognitive learning products in Mathematics compared to Discovery Learning. (DL). This is evidenced by the fact that the experimental population research subjects using Problem-Based Learning outperformed the population sample using Discovery Learning Keywords: problem based learning, discovery learning, cognitive learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in the field, when teachers do not use learning models that help students think more critically, learning is still centered on teachers, teachers do not support RPP. In general, this study aims to outline the improvement of student learning outcomes towards integrated thematic learning by using a problem based learning (PBL) model in class five of SD Negeri 11 Tanjung Alai Pasaman Regency. Class action research used research on this research and uses a quantitative and quantitative approach. Planning, implementation, observation and reflection are research procedures. Research data is taken on analysis documents, observation results, test results and non-tests. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2021/2022 school year. Teachers and students of class V of SD Negeri 11 Tanjung Alai Pasaman Regency are the subjects of research, where there are 20 students consisting of six men and fourteen women. The results of the study illustrate a) Planning in cycle one gets an average of 86.05% (B), increased in the second disiklus, namely 94.4% (SB), b) the implementation of learning in the teacher aspect, cycle one gets an average score of 80.1% (B), increased in the second degree, namely 92.8% (SB) On the student aspect, cycle one gets an average score of 76.7% (C), an increase of 92.8% (SB), c) student learning outcomes in cycle one get an avarage of 79.30 (C), an increase of 91.76 (A). so it was concluded that the use of the PBL model made students' learning outcomes increase in thematic learning in class V of SD Negeri 11 Tanjung Alai Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts, and the lack of use of technology in the learning process. This study aims to determine the feasibility of learning media, and to determine the extent to which students' understanding of mathematical concepts has increased after using the developed Smart Apps Creator-based mathematics learning media. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the development model being the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. This study resulted in learning media based on Smart Apps Creator (android application) on mixed arithmetic operations with whole numbers as the subject of research, students of class VI SDN Margahayu IX Bekasi City. The results of the study found that the learning media developed was "Very Appropriate" to be applied to mathematics learning in class VI SD. This is supported by the validation results from media, material, and learning experts with an average feasibility test result of 89.07%. Meanwhile, the results of the student response questionnaires obtained from small group and large group trials obtained an average acquisition result of 98.08% and included the "Very Positive" category. In addition, there was an increase in the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts after using learning media, which can be proven by the acquisition of an average n-gain value of 0.7 so that the criteria for "Medium" improvement were obtained.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less than optimal use of digital learning media. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which aims to produce digital smart book textbooks, test the feasibility of digital smart books and determine the improvement of higher order thinking in 5th grade students of SDIT Laa Tahzan through the development of digital smart books. The development of this product is guided by the Sugiyono model which is modified into six steps including problem analysis, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, to product testing. The digital smart book feasibility test is carried out by material, media and language experts. Validation from the three experts showed the results of "Fair" to "Very Eligible". The results of student responses to digital smart books get a percentage of 96.66% and are included in the "Very Good" category. This is reinforced by obtaining an N-Gain value of 0.506 which is included in the "Medium" criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that digital smart books to improve the higher-order thinking skills of elementary school students have been successfully developed, suitable for use in learning, the responses given by students are supported by increasing higher-order thinking skills in students with the use of digital smart books in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pengunaan model problem based learning dan model problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain The Static-Group Comparison. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD yang ada di Gugus Gajah Mungkur Kecamatan Getasan sejumlah 140 siswa, namun sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di SD Negeri Getasan, SD Negeri Manggihan dan SD Negeri Wates 02 sejumlah 65 siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berdasarkan pada perolehan hasil uji t kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelompok model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Problem Solving yang menunjukkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 ˂ 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya penerapan model problem based learning lebih unggul secara signifikan dibandingkan model problem solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, Problem Solving, Berpikir KritisAbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem based learning models and problem solving models on mathematical critical thinking skills in fifth grade elementary school. This study uses a Quasi Experimental type with The Static-Group Comparison design. The population in this study was the fifth grade elementary school students in the Gajah Mungkur Getasan Dictrict Cluster with a total of 140 students, but the samples used in this study were 65 students at Getasan Elementary School, Manggihan Elementary School and Wates 02 Elementary School. The results obtained from this study are based on the results of the t-test of critical thinking skills in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 which show a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 ˂ 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the application of the model problem based learning is significantly superior to the problem solving model on the mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the stimulation of reading culture with the 'reading clinic' program conducted in elementary schools. This research was conducted in elementary schools at MI Nurus Salam Kotaanyar Probolinggo. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and an overview or conclusion. The results showed that; first, the MI Nurus Salam institution uses a program called a 'reading clinic' to stimulate a reading culture for students; second, the presentation is done by knowing the program, implementing the reading clinic program, and evaluating the program. The implications obtained in the stimulation of reading culture in madrasas through the reading clinic game program are that students can develop reading comprehension and are more enthusiastic and enthusiastic about carrying out activities at the clinic with the creativity carried out by the teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penerapan model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa dalam matematika kelas 6 SD YP Nasional Surabaya dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan berfikir kreatif siswa dalam matematika kelas 6 SD YP Nasional Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 6 SD YP Nasional Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2022 sebanyak 16 orang dengan rincian 6 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Penelutian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus. Nilai rata-rata berfikir kreatif siswa pada tahap prasiklus yaitu 37,5%. Setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pada siklus 1 nilai berfikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 31,25%. Peningkatan ini masih belum mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal sehingga dilakukan siklus II. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata berfikir kreatif siswa mencapai 56,25. Peningkatan pada siklus II ini sudah mencaoai ketuntasan secara klasikal sehingga tidak perlu dilakukan siklus selanjutnya, sehingga dapat disampulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to find out how the use of audio visual media to improve students' science learning outcomes.. Data analysis techniques in this study are reducing data, describing data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research in the first cycle, the teacher did not provide guidance to students so that they did not dare to express their opinion. The results of the observation of the first cycle of the first meeting and the second meeting found that 9 out of 16 students got a complete score (56.25%) and 7 people out of 16 students (43.75%)) who got an incomplete score so that based on the completeness obtained it was still are in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, students have the courage to express their opinions and ask questions that are still not understood in relation to the material. In the second cycle of the first and second meetings, it was found that 13 out of 16 students (81.25%) got a complete score and 3 out of 16 students (18.75%) who got an incomplete score in the good category indicating the learning objectives were achieved by Thus, the use of Audio Visual media can improve students' science learning outcomes.

Abstract

; This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation which aims to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence with the social interaction in class V UPT SD Inpres 12/79 Lonrae Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone. The population in this study were 48 students, namely class VA as many as 24 and class VB as many as 24, while the sample was the entire population of 48 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique. The research data were obtained by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was carried out by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, students' emotional intelligence has an average of 72.33 and a percentage of 79.34% in the good category and the students' social interactions have an average of 107.77 and a percentage of 79.79% in the very good category. Then, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the tcount (9.44498) is greater (>) the ttable value (1.67866) at a significant level of 5%. Thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship of emotional intelligence with the social interaction in class V UPT SD Inpres 12/79 Lonrae Kecamatan Tanete Riattang Timur Kabupaten Bone.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of humanistic theory in improving student achievement at MI Nurul Yakin Sumberanyar Paiton. This research uses qualitative research method of case study type. This research was conducted since April 30, 2022. The data sources are observations and interviews. To obtain valid and reliable data, the researcher conducted interviews with several informants using purposive sampling technique, which consisted of five people, namely Ning Durrotus Shaimah as the principal, Hani as the deputy head, Titin as the deputy head of the curriculum, Cici Malika as one of the teachers, and Afkara Raysifa one of the students at the institution. The data analysis is data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results obtained are (1) the existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure, (2) the provision of rewards, (3) the existence of professional teachers and (4) student-centered learning strategies. With the application of humanist learning theory, it is possible for student achievement to be achieved.
